TL;DR: BestProps currently groups five firm reviews in this Futures market category. Use the live directory to compare those records, then verify the exact program rules, trading setup, platform, costs, and payout conditions with each firm.
Futures prop firms give traders a structured way to qualify for an account under a firm’s rules. The process often starts with a paid evaluation and may remain simulated through one or more later stages. That is different from opening a normal futures brokerage account, and the word “funded” does not automatically mean the trader is using live capital.
This page is a focused BestProps directory. It reflects the records currently assigned to the Futures exchange category and does not claim to cover every futures prop firm in the market.

What makes a futures prop firm account different
Futures contracts are standardized products traded on futures exchanges. They cover markets such as equity indexes, energy, metals, currencies, interest rates, and agriculture. Futures trading is leveraged and risky, so contract size, tick value, and loss limits matter from the first trade.
A prop evaluation adds another rule layer on top of the market itself. The firm may set a profit target, maximum loss level, daily loss cap, consistency requirement, contract limit, or restricted trading period. Passing an evaluation means meeting that program’s conditions. It does not guarantee profits, payouts, or access to live capital.
Compare futures prop firm rules that affect your strategy
Start with the loss rules. Find out whether drawdown is calculated intraday or at the end of the day, whether it trails profits, and when it stops moving. A rule that looks simple in a summary can behave differently once open and closed profit is included.
Then compare:
- Daily loss limits and maximum loss limits.
- Profit targets and consistency requirements.
- Maximum contracts, scaling plans, and micro-contract treatment.
- Permitted products, sessions, news trading, and overnight or weekend holding.
- Evaluation fees, reset fees, activation fees, market-data costs, and recurring charges.
- Payout eligibility, minimum trading days, payout caps, and reward splits.
- Supported platforms, connections, and any automation or copier restrictions.
Use the same checklist for every firm. This makes differences easier to spot and keeps one attractive number from hiding a rule that conflicts with your trading style.
Check the futures trading setup and account stage
Ask whether the evaluation is simulated, whether the first account after passing is simulated, and what must happen before any live-capital stage. Read the agreement rather than relying on the account label alone.
Also confirm who handles trade disputes, platform errors, and data problems. The platform provider may help with software setup, while the prop firm normally controls the account, rules, resets, and payouts.
Before the first trade, verify the reset time, session schedule, allowed contracts, position limits, and the way open profit affects drawdown. Save a current copy of the rules. If the firm changes them, you will have a clear record of what you reviewed.
Use the directory as a shortlist, not a ranking
The firms shown here are the records assigned to this BestProps category. Their presence is not a universal endorsement or a claim that one firm is best for every trader. Your best next step is to compare two or three programs under the same rule checklist.
