TL;DR: Atlas Funded is a simulated-capital prop firm run under the trading name of ATLAS VANQUISH FZCO in Dubai, with its trading services supplied by Atlas Funded LTD, a Saint Lucia company. It sells forex and CFD accounts on MetaTrader 5, TradeLocker and Match-Trader (Instant, Instant Zero, 1-Step, 1-Step Pro, 2-Step, 2-Step Pro and the $5 Access account) and futures accounts on Volumetrica (Atlas Standard, Apex and Direct). Forex list prices run from $43 for a $5K 2-Step to $1,826 for a $400K Instant account, and futures run from $89 to $729. The rules are published in detail, but the firm’s own pages disagree on several money points: its terms and pricing table say the default split is 80%, its help centre says 90%, and the fee refund and payout timing are described three different ways. Trustpilot showed 4.0 from 1,967 reviews on October 11, 2026, not the 4.8 the firm advertises, and Reddit has several detailed payout-denial complaints. Atlas Funded is a real, operating business that pays some traders, but treat it as a firm where you read the funded-account rules and your agreement before you trade, not after.

Research status: Checked against the official Atlas Funded website, its help centre, trading rules page, terms (last updated October 4, 2026), refund policy and the pricing data that feeds its checkout on October 11, 2026. Trustpilot, Reddit and Prop Firm Match were read the same day. Prices, codes and rules change often, so recheck them at checkout. Nothing here was verified by buying an account.

Atlas Funded review verdict: is it legit?

Atlas Funded is a legitimate, operating prop firm in the narrow sense that matters first: it names its companies, publishes a full rulebook and a help centre, sells accounts through a working checkout, pays traders through Rise and USDT, and issues payout certificates with QR codes that anyone can look up. Its Trustpilot profile has been claimed since September 2024 and carries close to two thousand reviews, many of them describing payouts received.

Is Atlas Funded a good prop firm? That depends on how you trade and how carefully you read. On paper the menu is wide and cheap: seven forex and CFD programs from $5K to $400K, no time limits, EAs allowed, overnight and weekend holds allowed on CFDs, and Pro versions with no daily loss limit. The catch is on the funded side. Several rules only start once you are funded and are enforced at payout: a 2% open-loss “Atlas Protector” that can halve your split for the life of the account, a 3-minute minimum hold, a 5-minute news window, a margin-usage cut-off, and a one-instrument risk cap. Most negative reviews we read are about those rules, not about a firm that has stopped paying.

The second weak point is documentation. The firm’s own terms, rulebook, help centre, pricing table and marketing pages give different answers on the default profit split, when the first payout opens, how fast payouts are processed and when your fee comes back. None of that proves bad faith, but you are buying from a firm whose public numbers do not all agree, so the dashboard and the agreement you sign are what you should rely on. BestProps does not give Atlas Funded a numeric score. The review methodology explains how we check firms.

Who runs Atlas Funded

Every page footer says Atlas Funded is the trading name of ATLAS VANQUISH FZCO, and that the registered entity is Atlas Funded LTD, a Saint Lucia corporation with company number 2025-00597 at Ground Floor, The Sotheby Building, Rodney Village, Rodney Bay, Gros-Islet. The terms add that ATLAS VANQUISH FZCO is registered at Dubai Digital Park, Dubai Silicon Oasis, that Atlas Funded LTD supplies the simulated trading services, and that card payments are settled by Odeonpay ALE S.R.L. (“Paysagi”) as merchant of record. The firm lists offices in Saint Lucia, England and Dubai.

Disputes go first to support and then to binding arbitration, and the agreement is governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. The firm states that it is not a broker, does not accept deposits and carries out no regulated activity. All trading is simulated: account balances are not real money, and payouts are rewards paid from the firm’s own funds based on simulated results.

Atlas does not publish a founding year. Its public footprint starts around September 2024, when its Trustpilot profile was claimed, and the Saint Lucia company number carries a 2025 prefix. The site claims 100,000+ traders, 188,000+ challenges and payouts in 140+ countries, but it also says 190+ countries in another place, so treat those as marketing figures rather than audited numbers.

Atlas Funded account types compared

Atlas sells two markets from one dashboard. Forex and CFD accounts trade 44 currency pairs, metals, energy and 10 index CFDs in lots, with leverage up to 1:100. Futures accounts trade CME contracts and are covered in their own section below. The forex and CFD side has seven programs, split into instant accounts (funded from the first trade, no target) and evaluations (reach a target first).

The figures below come from the Atlas compare programs page, last reviewed September 27, 2026, which says its numbers are read from the firm’s risk engine. Where the evaluation and funded stage differ, both are shown.

Program Phases Profit target Max drawdown Daily loss Consistency (funded) Sizes
Instant Zero None, funded from day one None 4% trailing, end of day None None $5K to $200K
Instant Funded None, funded from day one None 5% trailing, end of day 3% trailing, end of day 20% best day $5K to $400K
1-Step 1 10% 7% static 4% static None $5K to $200K
1-Step Pro 1 8% 6% static None None $5K to $200K
2-Step 2 8%, then 5% 10% static 5% static None $5K to $200K
2-Step Pro 2 7%, then 4% 8% static None None $5K to $200K
Access (Pay Later) 1 3% 10% trailing equity, then 6% trailing equity when funded 5%, then 3% when funded 40% best day $5K to $400K

Standard and Pro versions are a real trade-off, not just a price step. Pro accounts drop the daily loss limit and the evaluation minimum days, and need only three trading days of any size per payout cycle with a $50 profit threshold. In exchange the drawdown is tighter (6% instead of 7% on 1-Step, 8% instead of 10% on 2-Step), and the floor never moves, even after a payout. Standard accounts need five qualifying days per cycle, each with at least 0.5% closed profit, a $100 threshold, and their drawdown is re-anchored to your new balance after each payout.

A plain way to choose between the Atlas Funded account types:

  • Want the most room for losing days and the lowest targets with a daily limit? 2-Step has the widest drawdown on Atlas (10% static) and 8% then 5% targets.
  • Want one target and no second phase? 1-Step needs 10% with a 7% static floor.
  • Hate daily loss limits? 1-Step Pro, 2-Step Pro and Instant Zero have none.
  • Want to skip the evaluation? Instant Zero (no consistency rule, 4% trailing floor) or Instant Funded (bigger sizes, 20% consistency rule).
  • Want to risk only $5 on the evaluation? Access, with the important caveats in its own section.

Atlas Funded pricing by account size

These are the list prices in US dollars that the Atlas pricing table showed on October 11, 2026. The same figures appeared in the checkout catalogue that the table reads from, and the price was the same on MT5, TradeLocker and Match-Trader. They are one-time fees; Atlas does not charge a monthly subscription or a separate activation fee on these programs. Access is the exception: it costs $5 to start and a funded fee if you pass.

Program $5K $10K $25K $50K $100K $200K $300K $400K
2-Step $43 $79 $160 $240 $443 $816 – –
2-Step Pro $52 $88 $177 $257 $460 $833 – –
1-Step $61 $97 $186 $284 $478 $867 – –
1-Step Pro $70 $115 $213 $302 $495 $884 – –
Instant Funded $61 $97 $186 $381 $635 $969 $1,379 $1,826
Instant Zero $80 $134 $250 $514 $851 $1,297 – –
Access: entry fee $5 $5 $5 $5 $5 $5 $5 $5
Access: funded fee if you pass $52 $88 $176 $263 $492 $945 $1,447 $1,739

The pricing comments say these prices were updated on October 1, 2026, so older reviews quoting other numbers are probably out of date rather than wrong. Futures prices are listed in the futures section.

Worked cost examples

  • $100K 2-Step at list price: $443. To earn the fee back from your first payout you need $553.75 of profit at an 80% split ($443 ÷ 0.80), or $492.22 at 90%.
  • $100K 2-Step with the 100% Profit Split add-on: the add-on is priced at 20% of the challenge price, so $443 + $88.60 = $531.60. If the default split is 80%, the add-on lifts your share by 20 points, so it pays for itself after $443 of withdrawn profit ($88.60 ÷ 0.20). If the default is 90%, it takes $886 ($88.60 ÷ 0.10).
  • $50K: Access versus buying upfront: Access costs $5 plus a $263 funded fee, $268 in total if you pass, against $240 for a 2-Step or $284 for a 1-Step. Access is cheaper only if you fail; if you pass, it costs about the same as a 1-Step and comes with tighter funded rules.
  • $200K Instant Zero: $1,297 buys a funded account with no target. With a 4% trailing floor, you can lose $8,000 from the starting balance before the account ends, and that floor rises as your closed balance makes new highs.

Atlas Funded discount codes and add-ons

On October 11, 2026 the Atlas homepage showed these offers, published by the firm itself:

Code What the firm says Expiry as published
NEWERA “Limited time 45% OFF”, banner text “Get 45% OFF + 125% Refund”, forex and futures October 14, 2026, 23:59 UTC
NEW Discount on your first challenge, “Any model, any size. One use per trader.” None published
NEWUSER 50% off your first challenge, sent after signing up to the email list None published

These were read from the firm’s public pages on October 11, 2026 and were not verified by purchase. The checkout did not show a code applied automatically, so you enter it yourself. Atlas’s rulebook says discount codes do not apply to resets unless a promotion says so, and the Access page hides the promo box, so do not expect a percentage off the $5 entry. With NEWERA, a $100K 2-Step would be $443 × 0.55 = $243.65 before any add-ons. Coupon sites list other Atlas codes that BestProps could not confirm with the firm.

Add-ons are chosen at checkout and priced as a share of the challenge price. They stay with that one account for its whole life and are never refunded, even if the account fails. From the add-ons page:

Add-on Price Programs What changes
On-Demand Payout +20% 1-Step, 2-Step First payout can be requested as soon as you are funded, at a 50% split for that payout only, then every 14 days
Weekly Payout +20% Instant Zero, Instant Funded, Access, 1-Step Pro, 2-Step Pro First payout after 14 days, then every 7 days
Daily Payouts +25% 1-Step Pro, 2-Step Pro A payout every day; must be flat, $50 minimum, 2% buffer stays in, first three payouts capped at 3% of starting balance
No Minimum Trading Days +20% 1-Step, 2-Step, Instant Zero, Instant Funded, Access No minimum days to pass; on Instant and Access, no minimum days per cycle from the 4th payout
100% Profit Split +20% All programs Split becomes 100%
Bundle +45% (help centre) 1-Step, 2-Step, Instant, Access Three add-ons together

The pricing table on the main site lists the evaluation bundle at +60% and also shows a “Free Retry” add-on at +25%, which the help centre does not mention. Check the price the checkout actually adds before paying. Buying several accounts at once is discounted too: the pricing table describes 10% off the second account, 20% off the third, 30% off the fourth and the fifth free, with a lighter discount ladder on Access.

Atlas Funded Access: the $5 account

Access is what people mean by the “Atlas Funded 5 dollar account”. You pay $5 to start a one-phase evaluation at any size from $5K to $400K. If you pass, you pay a funded fee to activate the funded account; if you fail, the $5 is all you spent. An advertising landing page on the same site offers a $1 version of the entry fee. From the Access rules:

  • Target: 3% closed profit, no minimum days, no time limit.
  • Evaluation limits: 10% trailing drawdown measured on equity, and a 5% daily limit set from your equity at 00:00 UTC.
  • Activation: once you pass, a 30-day window opens to pay the funded fee. If it closes, the offer lapses.
  • Funded limits: 6% trailing equity drawdown, 3% daily limit, three qualifying days of at least 0.5% per cycle, a 40% consistency rule, and the first payout window opening after 28 days, then every 14.
  • Refund: only the $5 entry fee comes back with a later payout. The funded fee is not refunded.

The trailing equity drawdown is the part to understand before you start. It rises the instant your equity makes a new high, including open profit you have not closed, and it never comes back down. On a $10K Access evaluation the floor starts at $9,000. If an open trade lifts equity to $10,250, the floor moves to $9,225 straight away, even if that trade then reverses. You pass at a closed balance of $10,300, so a trade that runs up and gives it back can eat a large part of your room.

The checkout catalogue lists both “1 Step Access” and “2 Step Access” at $5, and Atlas’s refund policy refers to 1-Step Access and 2-Step Access separately. The help centre only documents the one-phase Access rules above. If you see a 2-step Access option at checkout, ask support for its targets and limits in writing before buying, because they were not published on October 11, 2026.

One recurring Trustpilot complaint is from traders who passed Access and were surprised by the funded fee. It is disclosed: the Access page and the help centre both say you pay the rest only after you pass, and the funded fee for each size is listed in the table above.

Atlas Funded challenge rules: 1-Step and 2-Step

An Atlas Funded challenge passes automatically when your closed balance reaches the target and you have the minimum trading days. Floating profit does not count until you close it. A trading day is any UTC day on which at least one trade closes. There is no time limit on any evaluation; the only clock is the inactivity rule, which closes an account with no trade for 30 days.

Example 1-Step, $25K 2-Step, $50K
Balance to reach $27,500 (10%) $54,000 in Phase 1 (8%), then $52,500 in Phase 2 (5%) from a fresh balance
Drawdown floor $23,250 (7% static) $45,000 (10% static) in every phase
Daily allowance $1,000 (4% of account size) $2,500 (5% of account size)
Minimum trading days 3 3 in each phase
Funded qualifying day Closed profit of at least $125 (0.5%) Closed profit of at least $250 (0.5%)

The Pro versions need 8% (1-Step Pro) or 7% then 4% (2-Step Pro), with no minimum days, so a Pro evaluation can be passed on the first day. Atlas’s marketing says “no minimum days” across the board; that is true only for the Pro versions and Access, or with the paid add-on. The terms also contain a fallback of five profitable days “unless your model states otherwise”, and every model’s page does state its own number, so the program page applies.

When you pass, you sign a funded trader agreement in the dashboard. The help centre says logins activate within minutes, while the terms allow up to five business days to set up a funded account.

Atlas Funded drawdown and daily loss rules

Every Atlas forex and CFD account has a drawdown floor. If your equity, including open trades, touches it at any moment, the account is breached and closed. Atlas uses three kinds of floor:

  • Static (1-Step, 1-Step Pro, 2-Step, 2-Step Pro): fixed below the starting balance. A $100,000 2-Step has a $90,000 floor from the first trade to the last.
  • Trailing, end of day (Instant Zero, Instant Funded): recalculated once a day at 00:00 UTC from the highest closed balance. It never moves down and does not stop at the starting balance.
  • Trailing, equity (Access): rises the moment equity, including open profit, prints a new high.

Worked example from Atlas’s own figures: a $50,000 Instant Funded account starts with a $47,500 floor. Equity reaches $51,200 with a trade still open, and the floor stays at $47,500. The trade closes and the day ends at a $50,300 balance, so from 00:00 UTC the floor is $47,785. See static versus trailing drawdown for why that difference matters over a month of trading.

The daily loss limit is set from your equity at the 00:00 UTC reset, including any trades you held overnight. On 1-Step and 2-Step it is a fixed dollar amount (limit × account size); on Instant Funded and Access it is a share of the equity at the reset. Example: a $100,000 2-Step with $102,000 of equity at midnight UTC has a $97,000 floor for that day. A $25,000 Instant Funded with $25,400 at the reset has a $24,638 floor (3% of $25,400 below it). Carrying a losing trade past midnight lowers the next day’s starting point.

What happens after a payout depends on the program. On Instant Zero, Instant Funded, 1-Step, 2-Step and Access the drawdown is re-anchored to your balance after the payout. On the two Pro programs the floor stays where it started for the life of the account. The BestProps drawdown calculator can model a floor for any balance and percentage.

Funded-account rules that cut payouts

None of these apply during an evaluation, which is why traders often meet them for the first time when they request a payout. They are the source of most Atlas Funded complaints we read.

Rule Trigger What happens
Atlas Protector Open loss reaches 2% of the initial balance 1st time: every position closed and your split drops to 50% for the life of the account, even with the 100% add-on. 2nd time: account breached
Short trades A trade closed in under 3 minutes Profit on that trade deducted at payout; the account stays open
News window Trade opened or closed within 5 minutes either side of a high-impact (red folder) release on Forex Factory, on any instrument Profit deducted; a position opened inside the window is closed automatically
Margin usage 80% or more of available margin in use Every position closed and any profit on them deducted
One-sided exposure More than half of your daily loss limit risked on one instrument in a day Listed as a hard breach in the trading rules
Consistency Best day above 20% (Instant Funded) or 40% (Access funded) of the cycle’s profit Payout waits until more profitable days bring the ratio down; no breach

The Atlas Protector is the rule to plan around. “Open loss” is the larger of your net floating loss or the sum of every losing position, so a winning trade elsewhere does not hide a big loser. On a $50,000 account the trigger is $1,000 of open loss across everything you hold. On a $100,000 2-Step with EURUSD at −$1,300, XAUUSD at −$800 and US500 at +$400, the net floating loss is $1,700, but the losing positions add up to $2,100, so the Protector fires. Keep the combined stop-loss risk of all open trades under 2% of the starting balance, not under your daily limit.

The one-sided exposure rule works the same way on a single symbol: on an account with a 5% daily limit, no more than 2.5% may be at risk on, say, gold in one day, across one trade or several.

Consistency, worked through: on an Instant Funded account with $2,000 of cycle profit and a best day of $600, the best day is 30%, so the payout waits. Once other days add $1,000, the cycle total is $3,000 and $600 is exactly 20%, so you can request. On Access the same $600 best day needs only $1,500 of cycle profit. The consistency rule calculator runs the same check for any numbers. 1-Step, 1-Step Pro, 2-Step, 2-Step Pro and Instant Zero have no consistency rule.

News, EAs, weekends, copy trading and VPNs

  • News trading: fully allowed in evaluations. On funded accounts, the 5-minute window above applies. A trade opened before the window and closed after it is fine.
  • Expert Advisors: allowed on every program without approval, but you are responsible for every trade they place, including sub-3-minute closes and news-window trades. The terms say “some Expert Advisors are permitted; ask before you rely on one”, so check a custom EA with support.
  • Overnight and weekend holds: allowed on every forex and CFD program. Opening new positions on Saturday or Sunday is not allowed. Futures accounts must be flat every day by 4:45 PM New York time.
  • Copy trading: copying between your own Atlas accounts is allowed. Copying another trader, letting others copy you, or copying from outside accounts is prohibited, and trades that match another trader’s can be treated as a breach.
  • Hedging: opposite positions across accounts or firms to create a risk-free outcome are prohibited. Reverse trading inside one account is prohibited too.
  • HFT, tick scalping and latency arbitrage: prohibited. Scalping itself is allowed if funded trades are held at least 3 minutes.
  • VPN: allowed, but the rulebook says you must tell Atlas in advance if you will trade from a location that does not match your registered one. Logging in from several locations without explanation is treated as possible account sharing.
  • Gambling-style trading: using more than 80% of available balance on one trade, oversized positions without stops, and similar all-or-nothing patterns are reviewed manually before payouts and can lead to withheld profit.

For how other firms handle the same windows, see prop firm news trading rules.

Atlas Funded payouts

Payouts run in cycles that start when the funded account is created. From the help centre’s payouts page:

Program First payout opens Then every Qualifying days per cycle Profit threshold
Instant Zero 28 days 14 days 5, each at least 1% $100
Instant Funded 28 days 14 days 5, each at least 1% $100
Access 28 days 14 days 3, each at least 0.5% $100
1-Step, 2-Step 14 days 14 days 5, each at least 0.5% $100
1-Step Pro, 2-Step Pro 14 days 14 days 3, any trading day $50

Requesting a payout closes every open position and pauses the account until the payout is paid or rejected, so request when you are happy to be flat. The first payout also needs identity verification through Veriff (photo ID, a selfie check, sanctions screening and your country of residence). You do not need KYC to buy or trade. Payout requests can be made on any day of the week.

Profit split. This is the most important conflict on the site. The help centre’s program pages say 90% as standard and 100% with the add-on. The terms (updated October 4, 2026), the trading rules page, the pricing table tooltip and the homepage all say the default is 80%. The terms also say the figures shown on the pricing table and in your dashboard are the ones that apply to your account. Plan your numbers at 80% unless your checkout and agreement show 90%.

Worked example: a $100,000 2-Step funded account with a balance of $104,000 has $4,000 of profit. At 80% you receive $3,200; at 90%, $3,600; with the 100% add-on, $4,000. After a Protector trigger, the same withdrawal pays $2,000 at 50%. The balance then resets to $100,000 and the drawdown is re-anchored. More on how splits work in how prop firm profit splits work.

Methods. Rise (to your Rise account, then bank or wallet), USDT on Ethereum (ERC20), or Atlas Balance with a 10% bonus rising to 25% with your VIP rank. Atlas Balance can only be spent on challenges and add-ons; it cannot be withdrawn. The help centre says no method has an upper limit. The older rulebook lists a $3,000 minimum for crypto withdrawals, which the help centre does not repeat; check the minimum in the payout window.

Speed and the $1,000 guarantee. The homepage says “Paid in 24 hours, or +$1,000 free”. The Payout Reward Guarantee page is narrower: first payouts are processed within 24 working hours and later ones within 48 working hours, where working hours are 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM BST, Monday to Friday. At eight working hours a day, that is up to three business days for a first payout and six for later ones. If Atlas misses the window it credits $1,000, paid as $500 with the delayed payout and $500 with your next one. Giveaway and collaborator accounts are excluded, and the terms separately allow 1 to 5 business days after approval. Approval itself comes after a risk-team review, which is not covered by the clock.

Atlas Funded payout proof. Every paid payout gets a certificate with a QR code that opens a public record, and the firm posts payout screenshots in its Discord. These show that payouts are made, not how many traders are refused. The payout proof verification guide explains how to read that kind of evidence. Use the payout readiness checklist before your first request.

Fee refund, refunds and resets

Atlas returns your challenge fee after you are paid a set number of times, but its pages describe that in three different ways:

  • The help centre: the price you paid comes back as Atlas Balance (in-platform credit, not cash) with your 3rd consecutive payout on that account, on every program, excluding add-ons. On Access only the $5 is refunded.
  • The refund policy (updated August 6, 2026, which calls itself the source of truth): with the 3rd funded payout on 1-Step, 2-Step and 2-Step Pro, the 4th on 1-Step Access and 2-Step Access, and the 5th on Instant accounts.
  • The forex and futures sales pages and pricing cards: the fee comes back “with your first payout” on 2-Step and some other models, and the current NEWERA banner promises a “125% Refund”.

Until Atlas aligns them, assume the later payout and the Atlas Balance form
