FTMO is a long-running prop structured around a two-step evaluation (FTMO Challenge + Verification) with rewards up to 90% of simulated profits after scaling. Trading is performed in a demo (simulated) environment, with rewards typically requestable after at least 14 days of trading; FTMO does not offer an instant/no-evaluation funding product.

FTMO Instant Funding Review: 

A mature, rules-driven prop (est. 2015) built around a classic two-step evaluation (Challenge + Verification). There’s no time limit to pass-only 4 minimum trading days per step-and risk is clearly defined (5% daily / 10% max). Platform coverage is broad (MT4, MT5, cTrader, TradingView) with wide instrument access across FX, indices, commodities, stocks, and crypto. After your first 14 days, rewards are on-demand and typically process in ~1–2 business days via bank wire, Visa Direct/Mastercard Send (to ~$20k), Skrill, or crypto. Fees are one-time and reimbursed with your first reward; no subscriptions. Scaling can lift allocation up to $2M with rewards up to 90%.

Trade-offs: there’s no Instant Funding, the first reward can’t be requested before day 14, and the strict loss limits frequently punish over-sizers. Access is limited in many jurisdictions (U.S. is via FTMO x OANDA), and the CFD product set has no ETF or futures accounts (exchange-listed futures are a separate FTMO Futures product). You still pay an upfront fee to enter (even if later reimbursed). Net: a strong pick if you value unlimited evaluation time, transparent rules, and fast, varied payout rails; less ideal if you need immediate funding, daily payouts from day one, or exchange-listed futures.
