Every bitcoin trade at a crypto prop firm pays a commission out of the same balance your loss limit is measured from, so we ranked 8 crypto accounts by how many full-size bitcoin round trips the overall floor can absorb in commission alone. Crypto Fund Trader 2-Phase $50K on Match-Trader is first (153.8 round trips: 0.0325% a side against a static $5,000 floor, $389). WenCrypto Double Pass (100.0, $383, sells to US buyers) and Bitfunded 2-Step (100.0, $399) follow, then HyroTrader Two-Step on Bybit (90.9, lowest price per $1,000 of loss room at $75.80), FXIFY Crypto (85.7, no US buyers), Tradeify 247 2-Step (75.0, $350) and, tied, Breakout and Kraken Prop (75.0, $400 each). Headline leverage misleads: HyroTrader advertises up to 100x but caps funded notional at 2x. Daily limits reset at different UTC hours (00:00, 00:05, 00:30, 16:00, 22:00) and most count open losses. Every ranked account starts on simulated money, and payouts go out as USDC, USDT, Rise, bank transfer or a Kraken wallet. Seven forex firms that sell crypto CFDs, Tradescape and Instant Funding are shown but not ranked.

Quick picks among the best crypto prop firms

  • Most room before fees end the account: Crypto Fund Trader 2-Phase $50K on Match-Trader, 153.8 round trips at 0.0325% a side.
  • Static floor for US buyers: WenCrypto Double Pass $50K, an 8% floor that never moves, $383.
  • Lowest price per $1,000 of loss room: HyroTrader Two-Step on Bybit, $75.80, with the $379 deposit returned on the first payout.
  • Paid any day, no minimum days: Breakout 1-Step Classic, USDC on ERC-20.
  • Paid into an exchange wallet: Kraken Prop Starter, payouts land in your Kraken wallet.

Every page-one list of crypto prop firms compares profit splits, targets and headline leverage. None of them prices the trade itself, and on crypto perpetuals the commission is charged on the full notional, every time you open and every time you close. That is the number this guide puts first.

What a crypto prop firm is and how the funded model works

A crypto prop firm sells you an evaluation: you pay a one-time fee, trade a simulated account to a profit target without breaking its loss limits, and then trade a funded account whose profits the firm shares with you, usually 80%. At every firm ranked here the money you trade is simulated; what is real is the fee you pay and the payout you receive. Crypto Fund Trader’s terms call the funds in every phase demo funds, WenCrypto calls every account a demo account, and HyroTrader says no order reaches the live order book.

What makes a firm a crypto prop firm here is the product, not the brand. We counted a product only if its instruments are crypto (or crypto is clearly the focus), the firm publishes crypto-specific terms (commission, leverage, overnight charges), and it is on sale today. A forex evaluation with a few bitcoin CFDs does not pass, and neither does a crypto payout rail on a forex product. How we ranked the best crypto prop firms

Five-step process behind our ranking of the best crypto prop firms, built from each firm's own rule and fee pages
The five checks behind every ranking in the Prop Trader’s Guide.
  1. Sources: each firm’s own fee, rules, leverage and payout pages and its checkout, read October 4 and 5, 2026; an exchange’s own fee page only where the firm says the exchange’s fees apply. Never a competing list.
  2. One product per firm: we score every product and route the firm sells and rank the one that scores best, at $50,000.
  3. The metric: round trips to the floor = overall max-loss floor in dollars ÷ commission on one bitcoin trade the size of the account, opened and closed, at the funded-stage taker rate.
  4. Floor: the overall max-loss at the smallest stage, never a daily limit or a per-trade rule.
  5. Tie-break: list price plus any published activation fee, per $1,000 of loss room. Codes never change the order.

Worked example. Crypto Fund Trader 2-Phase, $50,000, 10% static floor = $5,000. Commission 0.0325% a side: $50,000 × 0.0325% = $16.25 to open and $16.25 to close, $32.50 a round trip. $5,000 ÷ $32.50 = 153.8 round trips.

Same account on the firm’s Bybit route at 0.055% a side: $55.00 a round trip, $5,000 ÷ $55.00 = 90.9. Same price, same floor, 41% fewer trades before fees alone reach the floor.

Both terms grow with account size, so the score is the same at every size of a given product; it changes only with the floor percentage and the fee. We use the overall floor because that is the line that ends the account no matter how the day went. The tie-break is the method of our cheapest crypto prop firms guide, which ranks these firms on price alone. A live call-up or a hidden Trustpilot rating is never a ranking reason here; both are stated in each firm’s section.

Notes on this ranking: Round trips to the floor is the overall max-loss floor in dollars divided by the commission on one bitcoin trade the size of the account, opened and closed. Higher is better. WenCrypto and Bitfunded tie at 100.0; WenCrypto ranks second because its list price per $1,000 of loss room is lower ($95.75 against $99.75). Breakout and Kraken Prop tie on both figures (75.0 round trips, $133.33 per $1,000), so they share seventh place. † HyroTrader charges whatever the exchange charges on its Bybit and BloFin routes; we used Bybit’s standard non-VIP perpetuals taker rate, which HyroTrader quotes as its own. On the BloFin route the figure is 83.3. HyroTrader does not publish a commission for its own Hyro platform, which is the route it points to where Bybit is not available, so the ranked figure does not apply there. ‡ Breakout’s help article and pricing cards give bitcoin 10x leverage while its product feed says up to 5x; leverage is not part of the metric, so the rank does not change, but plan on the lower figure. FXIFY’s 6% floor follows your highest closed balance until you are 6% up and then locks at the starting balance, so it is not a static floor like most rows here.

Notes on prices: * Six firms do not say whether an activation fee follows the evaluation, so their figure is the list price alone over the floor. We did not assume the fee is $0. Breakout says passing upgrades the account “at no additional cost” and Kraken says the evaluation fee is the only cost, so their figures are complete. All prices are list prices for the $50,000 size. Codes are shown in each firm’s section with their end dates and never change the order: Tradeify 247’s OCT code ends October 31, 2026; WenCrypto’s WEN code shows no end date; HyroTrader’s BLISS10 runs on a rolling 24-hour timer; FXIFY’s REWARD25 ends October 31, 2026, and we could not confirm it applies to crypto accounts.

Why trading fees decide which crypto prop firm account lasts

How crypto prop firm trading fees eat the loss limit: fee tokens labelled Fees per trade chip away a Loss limit bar with every trade
Every trade pays a fee out of the balance your loss limit is measured from.

Fees on crypto prop firm accounts are charged on notional, not on margin, so leverage multiplies them. At Tradeify 247, Breakout or Kraken Prop, a $50,000 account used at 5:1 controls $250,000 of bitcoin. One round trip at 0.04% a side costs $250,000 × 0.08% = $200, which is 6.7% of the $3,000 floor. Fifteen such round trips with no price movement at all would use the entire floor. At Kraken Prop, commissions and funding count toward the daily limit as well, so a $1,500 daily limit absorbs seven and a half of those trades before the market moves a cent.

The overnight charge works the same way. Tradeify 247, WenCrypto, Breakout and Kraken Prop all charge 0.033% a day on the value of an open position. Holding $250,000 of bitcoin for a week at that rate costs $250,000 × 0.033% × 7 = $577.50, almost a fifth of a $3,000 floor. HyroTrader and Crypto Fund Trader’s Bybit route pass on Bybit’s own funding, and FXIFY charges swaps at a rate it does not publish.

The ranked crypto prop firms, one by one

Eight accounts pass the crypto test and are ranked by round trips to the floor, ties broken on price per $1,000 of loss room. Every section uses the same fields so you can compare them line by line.

Crypto Fund Trader is the crypto prop firm with the cheapest commission per trade on Match-Trader

Nobody in this ranking charges less per trade than Crypto Fund Trader on its Match-Trader route, and that is the whole reason it sits first. Its fee list reads “Crypto: 0.0325% per side” on Match-Trader and MetaTrader 5, so one bitcoin trade the size of a $50,000 account costs $16.25 to open and $16.25 to close, $32.50 in all. Against a static 10% floor of $5,000, that is 153.8 full-size round trips before commission alone could end the account, about half again as much room as the next firm. The same evaluation on the firm’s Bybit route costs more per trade, because there “traders are subject to Bybit’s native trading fee structure” (0.055% taker at Bybit’s standard non-VIP rate), which drops it to 90.9 round trips. Same price, same floor, a different bill for every trade.

Video: Crypto Fund Trader’s official channel has an account-chooser video from December 2024 that predates its current prices and accounts, so we do not embed it.

The rules around that cheap commission are the ones to read twice. The daily limit is 5% and “The daily maximum loss is calculated based on your account balance at 12:05 AM UTC each day.” Breaches are measured on equity, so an open loss counts. Profits are capped too: “The maximum simulated profit allowed per day and/or per trade is $10,000.” Anything above that can be deducted. Payouts need 15 traded days or 30 calendar days, and the terms say “The funds provided to you during Phase 1, Phase 2, Phase 3 or ‘Final Stage’ phase are DEMO funds.”

  • Product and price: 2-Phase evaluation, $50,000, $389 one-time list price, no code seen. Targets 8% then 5%. $77.80* per $1,000 of loss room; the terms name an activation fee only for a different product, so we mark it.
  • Commission: 0.0325% per side on Match-Trader and MT5; Bybit route pays Bybit’s own fees, and the firm says it adds no markup.
  • Loss floor: 10% of the starting balance ($5,000), static at both stages.
  • Daily loss: 5% of the 00:05 UTC balance, measured on equity, ends the account.
  • Leverage: 1:100 on crypto for $50,000 Advanced accounts at both stages; accounts of $25,000 or less are Student accounts at 1:5.
  • What fills your trades: Match-Trader on the firm’s own data feed; MetaTrader 5 and a Bybit sub-account are the other routes. All demo funds.
  • Overnight charge: Swap per symbol, charged at 22:00 UTC on Match-Trader and 00:00 UTC on MT5; Bybit route pays Bybit funding.
  • Payouts: 80% split, every 15 traded days or 30 calendar days, by bank transfer in EUR or USD or to a USDT, BTC or ETH wallet. “Our average processing time for scholarship reward payments is approximately 8 hours.” Minimum not published.
  • US residents: The FAQ says “Match-Trader: There are currently no country restrictions for traders using Match-Trader.” The terms also say “The use of the platforms as well as resets or migrations in MT5 to all new users belonging to the United States is restricted.” Ask support in writing before buying from the US.
  • Trading rules to know: High-frequency trading, tick scalping, latency arbitrage and all-in trading are banned; a reverse trade on the same instrument needs the first trade open 24 hours.
  • Choose it when: You trade bitcoin often at size and want the lowest commission against a static floor, with bank or crypto payouts.
  • Watch out for: The $10,000 daily profit cap, the 15-traded-day payout cycle, and the US wording in the terms.
  • Trustpilot: rating hidden behind Trustpilot’s “breach of our guidelines” banner, 1,095 reviews (read October 6, 2026).
  • Where to check: Crypto Fund Trader FAQ and Crypto Fund Trader payouts.

WenCrypto is the crypto prop firm with a static floor that also sells to US buyers

A crypto-only menu is what sets WenCrypto apart: “You can trade the top 100 cryptocurrencies listed on CoinMarketCap.” Stablecoins are excluded and nothing else is listed. Its Double Pass evaluation pairs an 8% static floor with “The trading fee to execute a buy or sell order is 0.04%.” On $50,000 that is $40 a round trip against a $4,000 floor, 100.0 trips, tied with Bitfunded and ahead of it on price.

Video: we found no official WenCrypto YouTube channel.

The daily limit is unusual in one useful way and one strict way. “Your daily limit is based on your balance or equity (whichever is higher) at 00:00 UTC, and it applies until the next 00:00 UTC.” If you go into midnight with open profit, the day’s 5% is measured from that higher figure. Early payouts are capped: “For the single pass and double pass, the first withdrawal is capped at 6%. The second withdrawal is capped at 8%.” The firm also says “All accounts provided to our clients are demo accounts with simulated funds.”

  • Product and price: Double Pass (2 Step), $50,000 on Match-Trader, $383 one-time list price. The WEN code showed $288 with no end date. Targets 10% then 6%, with 3 winning days. $95.75* per $1,000; no activation fee is named, so we mark it.
  • Commission: 0.04% per order, one figure for every stage.
  • Loss floor: 8% static from the starting balance ($4,000) in both phases and when funded.
  • Daily loss: 5%, from the higher of balance or equity at 00:00 UTC; an equity breach during the day ends the account.
  • Leverage: 5:1 on BTC and ETH, 2:1 on other coins, the same figure at both stages.
  • What fills your trades: Match-Trader is the only platform at checkout; no exchange feed is named.
  • Overnight charge: “Additionally, if you have an open position at 00:00 UTC, a daily swap fee of 0.033% per open position will be deducted from the balance of your demo account at 00:15 UTC.”
  • Payouts: 80% split, a request every 10 business days, first withdrawal capped at 6% and second at 8%. “Withdrawals are processed through WenCrypto’s supported payout methods.” Rail, minimum and processing time are not published.
  • US residents: Yes: the United States appears in the checkout country list, and no named-country ban is published.
  • Trading rules to know: No high-frequency trading, no tick scalping, and “EAs (Expert Advisors) are not permitted”. Scalping, swing and news trading are allowed.
  • Choose it when: You trade top-100 coins by hand at up to 5:1 from the US and want a floor that never moves.
  • Watch out for: The 6% and 8% caps on your first two withdrawals and the unpublished payout rail. The FAQ promises a full refund after three withdrawals while the terms call purchases non-refundable.
  • Trustpilot: no Trustpilot profile found for the firm’s domain (checked October 6, 2026).
  • Where to check: WenCrypto FAQ and WenCrypto pricing.

Bitfunded is the crypto prop firm on its own platform for manual traders at low leverage

Bitfunded built its own trading platform, and its rules read like a firm that wants hand-placed trades at modest size. Leverage runs from 1x to 5x, and “Bots, Expert Advisors, scripts, API automation: Not allowed. Every trade has to be placed manually”. The fee is “0.04% of position size to open and 0.04% to close, in line with most crypto exchanges.” Stage 2 and the funded Trader Stage use an 8% floor ($4,000), so a full-size bitcoin round trip at $40 gives 100.0 trips; stage 1 is looser at 10%.

Video: “Welcome to the ultimate Bitfunded tutorial!”, Bitfunded official YouTube channel, August 25, 2025. Source type: firm-produced. Why we chose it: the firm’s own walkthrough of its platform; it predates current pricing, so take prices from the table above.

Two rules catch swing traders. Positions have a clock: “Position holding: 10 days on major crypto, 7 on minor crypto, 5 on traditional pairs, counted in exact hours.” And the daily limit includes open trades: “If your equity breaches the limit at any moment, the account is disqualified automatically.” It resets at 00:00 UTC+8, which is 16:00 UTC. Bitfunded is plain about the model: “Is this real money trading? No.” “The profit share we pay out is real USDT.”

  • Product and price: 2-Step Challenge (Advanced), 50,000 USDT, $399 one-time list price; no code seen because checkout sits behind a login. Targets 8% then 5%. The entry fee “comes back with your third successful payout in the Trader Stage”. $99.75* per $1,000; no activation fee named, so we mark it.
  • Commission: 0.04% to open and 0.04% to close, itemised in your transaction history.
  • Loss floor: 10% in stage 1, then 8% ($4,000) in stage 2 and the Trader Stage; fixed to the starting balance.
  • Daily loss: 5% of the starting balance, counting realised and floating loss, reset at 16:00 UTC.
  • Leverage: 1x to 5x on every pair at every stage; combined margin above 65% (55% on Instant) triggers a payout penalty.
  • What fills your trades: Bitfunded’s own web and app platform, priced from partner exchanges’ live data.
  • Overnight charge: No overnight charge is named on the FAQ, user guide or terms; weekend trading and holding are allowed.
  • Payouts: 80% split. You set a Profit Sharing Day between 2 and 60 days out; you need 2 closed trades, each open at least 10 minutes. USDT on ERC-20, BEP-20 or TRC-20. The FAQ says requests are processed within 24 hours on working days, while the terms allow 14 days.
  • US residents: Not published: there is no restricted-country list, and the country step sits behind the checkout login.
  • Trading rules to know: Manual trading only, a maximum of 5 open positions, and the holding-time limits above.
  • Choose it when: You trade crypto by hand at low leverage, close positions within a week or so, and want a static funded floor.
  • Watch out for: The holding clock, the margin-concentration penalty, and conflicting pages on minimum days (the FAQ says none, the terms say 5).
  • Trustpilot: 4.3/5 on 206 reviews (read October 6, 2026). Recent one-star reviews call the holding rules unclear.
  • Where to check: Bitfunded FAQ.

HyroTrader is the crypto prop firm that runs your evaluation on your own Bybit demo account

HyroTrader sends your orders to a real exchange’s demo system rather than its own simulator. “On Bybit and BloFin, your orders go into your own demo account at that exchange, over the exchange’s own API.” That also means the exchange’s fees: “Bybit fees are Non-VIP (VIP 0) Bybit fees.” The base perpetuals taker rate is 0.055% a side, $55 for a full-size round trip on 50,000 USDT. With a 10% static floor of $5,000 that is 90.9 round trips, the deepest floor here, tied with Crypto Fund Trader, but a pricier trade than Crypto Fund Trader’s Match-Trader route.

Video: “How to CONNECT your ByBit DEMO account to HyroTrader using an API”, HyroTrader official YouTube channel, December 8, 2025. Source type: firm-produced. Why we chose it: it walks through connecting the Bybit demo account, which is the route ranked here.

The headline leverage is not what you get once funded. Bybit pairs run up to 100x, but on a funded account “A trader may allocate up to 25% of the initial account balance as total margin across open positions.” and “The total notional value of all open positions must not exceed 2× the initial account balance.” A first breach is a warning; a second fails the funded stage. The firm is direct about what the trading is: “In every case the account is a demo account and no order reaches the live order book.”

  • Product and price: Two-Step, 50,000 USDT, $379 list price, paid as a refundable deposit returned with your first payout. BLISS10 takes 10% off on a rolling 24-hour timer. Targets 10% then 5%. $75.80* per $1,000; the checkout says no hidden fees but never states a $0 activation fee, so we mark it.
  • Commission: Bybit route 0.055% taker, 0.02% maker; BloFin route at BloFin’s base rate (0.06%, 83.3 round trips); the Hyro platform rate is not published.
  • Loss floor: 10% static ($5,000), counting floating P&L and fees, in every phase.
  • Daily loss: 5% of the initial balance from start-of-day equity at 00:00 UTC; open losses and fees count; ends the account.
  • Leverage: Up to 100x on Bybit and the Hyro platform, up to 150x on BTC and ETH on BloFin, but funded accounts are held to 25% margin and 2x notional.
  • What fills your trades: Your own Bybit or BloFin demo account over the exchange API, or HyroTrader’s simulation engine on its Hyro platform.
  • Overnight charge: The exchange’s own funding on Bybit and BloFin; not published for the Hyro platform. “Yes, both. Nothing is closed for you at the end of the day or the week.”
  • Payouts: “Payouts are processed within 24 hours.” USDT or USDC, $100 minimum after the split, as soon as the funded account is in profit, with all positions closed. The cap per request is 5% of the initial balance in the FAQ and 4% in the checkout table; plan on 4% ($2,000).
  • US residents: US residents can join, but the Bybit route follows Bybit’s own country terms. “If an exchange isn’t available where you live, choose the Hyro platform: it doesn’t need an exchange account.”
  • Trading rules to know: Your own bots and scripts are allowed; copy trading and signal services are not. “You must not allocate more than 5% of your initial account balance (including leverage) across all low-cap assets at any time.”
  • Choose it when: You want a 10% static floor, exchange-grade order handling and stablecoin payouts, and you get your deposit back on the first payout.
  • Watch out for: The funded 2x notional cap behind the “up to 100x” headline, and the payout cap conflict.
  • Trustpilot: 4.0/5 on 228 reviews (read October 6, 2026).

FXIFY Crypto is the crypto prop firm account from a forex brand, closed to US buyers

FXIFY is a forex firm first, but its crypto account is its own product: “CRYPTO accounts are exclusively for trading cryptocurrencies”, with 81 USDT-quoted coins and DXTrade as the only platform. The commission is plain: “There is commission of 0.07% RT (Round Trip) per lot.” That is 0.035% a side, $35 per full-size bitcoin round trip on $50,000, against a $3,000 floor: 85.7 round trips.
