Instant Funding Perps Prop Firms: What You Pay and Give Up

Home » Perpetual Futures (Perps) Prop Firms Research Directory » Instant Funding Perps Prop Firms: What You Pay and Give Up

TL;DR: Two of the six perps prop firms BestProps tracks sell instant funding. Vest Markets’ Instant account skips the evaluation entirely: $10 for a $500 account up to $2,000 for $50,000, with a static max drawdown equal to the fee (2% on the $500 size, 4% on the rest), no daily loss limit, no profit target and a 95% split. Crypto Fund Trader’s Instant Evaluation, which you can run on Bybit, costs $125, $240 or $475 for $2,500, $5,000 or $10,000. It drops the profit target but keeps a 4% daily and 6% overall loss limit, and its split starts at 50%, rising as the account doubles at each 10% gain. My Funded Perps, E8 Markets, Kraken Prop and Propr do not offer instant funding; each sells a one-step evaluation instead, from $20. The price of skipping the test is steep: instant accounts cost about $790 to $1,000 per $1,000 of drawdown, against $83 to $167 for the cheapest one-step evaluations. Every account on this page is simulated.

Checked October 26, 2026 against each firm’s own pricing pages, docs, FAQ and terms. BestProps did not buy an account, trade, pass an evaluation or request a payout at any of these firms. Prices and rules are read from the firms’ public pages and were not verified by purchase.

Instant funding perps prop firms at a glance

Each row is the firm’s perpetual futures program only. “Instant product” means an account you can buy without first passing a profit target. Prices are list prices before any code.

Firm Instant product Sizes and price Max drawdown Daily loss limit Target before first payout Profit split Account type (firm’s terms)
Vest Markets Yes: Instant account (no evaluation) $500 for $10, $5,000 for $200, $10,000 for $400, $25,000 for $1,000, $50,000 for $2,000 Equal to the fee: 2% on $500, 4% on the other sizes; static None None; claim profit on demand 95% flat Simulated per prop terms; docs say “real Vest capital” (conflict)
Crypto Fund Trader (Bybit option) Yes: Instant Evaluation (no profit target to start) $2,500 for $125, $5,000 for $240, $10,000 for $475 6% overall 4% None to start; 10% for a “Withdrawal & Upgrade”, otherwise 15 traded days or 30 calendar days 50% at the first level, rising to 90% as the account scales Demo (“It’s all demo, no real capital involved”)
My Funded Perps No 1-Step evaluations only. Cheapest cash-paying plan: Select $10,000 for $40 (9% target, 3% static drawdown) Simulated
E8 Markets (Perpetuals market) No Perps run only on E8 One and E8 Pro, both 1-step. Cheapest: E8 Pro $5,000 with 6% drawdown, $28 list Simulated
Kraken Prop No 1-Step evaluations only. Cheapest: Advanced $5,000 for $20 (9% target, 3% static drawdown) Simulated

Sources: Vest’s live purchase catalog and loss-limits docs; Crypto Fund Trader’s homepage plan tabs, FAQ and terms; the other four firms’ pricing pages and rulebooks, listed in Sources and method. Crypto Fund Trader’s Instant prices are the same for its BYBIT, MT5 and Match-Trader variants; only the Bybit variant trades perps.

What instant funding means on a perps account

“Instant funding” covers two different products, and the two perps firms that sell it sit on either side of that line.

  • No evaluation at all. Vest’s Instant account is created straight into the funded stage. Its docs describe it as “Skip the evaluation. Purchase an account and go Live instantly”. There is no target to hit before you can claim profit.
  • An evaluation without a profit target. Crypto Fund Trader is open about this. Its own instant funding guide says its “Instant Evaluation removes the profit-target phase, not the evaluation itself”. Loss limits apply from the first trade, and its terms list the product as a “Zero Phases/Instant” evaluation process.

Neither product gives you a real trading account. Vest’s prop terms say: “All Accounts, including Instant Funded Accounts, are simulated. No real trading capital, assets, margin, or collateral are credited or entrusted to you.” Payouts are “Program compensation” paid from the firm’s general funds. Crypto Fund Trader’s homepage says “It’s all demo, no real capital involved.” Instant funding changes how soon you can request a payout, not where the money comes from.

A one-step evaluation is the closest alternative. You pay a smaller fee, trade to a profit target under loss limits, and only then reach a funded stage where payouts start. The four firms without an instant product all sell this.

Vest Markets Instant accounts

Vest Markets runs its own perps exchange, Vest Exchange, and sells funded accounts through its Vest Capital program in the same app. Contracts are USDC-margined. The Instant account is one of two ways in; the other is the evaluation path (1-Step “Bespoke” or 2-Step).

Account size One-time fee Max drawdown Rate Floor (account closes below) Daily loss limit Split Profit needed to earn back the fee
$500 $10 $10 2% $490 None 95% $10.53 (2.1%)
$5,000 $200 $200 4% $4,800 None 95% $210.53 (4.2%)
$10,000 $400 $400 4% $9,600 None 95% $421.05 (4.2%)
$25,000 $1,000 $1,000 4% $24,000 None 95% $1,052.63 (4.2%)
$50,000 $2,000 $2,000 4% $48,000 None 95% $2,105.26 (4.2%)

Prices and rates are from Vest’s live purchase catalog, read October 26, 2026. The floors for $500 to $25,000 are printed in Vest’s loss-limits doc; the $50,000 floor is our arithmetic from the catalog’s 4% rate. Vest’s docs say the max drawdown is “Always equal to your one-time payment, but the rate isn’t uniform”.

How the rules work.

  • Static floor. The max drawdown floor is “set once when your account is created. It never moves.” Profit does not raise it. Equity below the floor closes the account immediately and permanently, with “no warning and no grace period”.
  • No daily loss limit. The docs say a daily limit “Never applies on Instant Accounts”. The static floor is the only loss rule to watch.
  • No target, no minimum days, no consistency rule. Vest’s FAQ says there is no minimum number of trading days and no cap on how much profit can come from one day.
  • Payouts on demand. Claim Profit moves your 95% share to your Primary Account, credited “in 24 hours”. From there you withdraw USDC to a wallet. The Vest Capital page says “No minimum to claim.”
  • Each claim resets your cushion. Claiming moves profit out of the funded account, so the balance falls back toward its starting level while the floor stays where it is. On a $5,000 account you are back to $200 of room after every claim.
  • Limits. Up to ten Instant Funded Accounts at a time per the prop terms. API trading is not available on any funded account, Instant included. XRP and HYPE cannot be traded on funded accounts.
  • Refunds. The prop terms allow a refund within three days only if the Instant account has not been used. Vest’s homepage FAQ says 28 days. Go by the terms.

Conflicts on Vest’s own pages that matter for an Instant buyer:

  • Simulated or real capital. The prop terms and the site disclosure (“instant funded account and all displayed balances and results are virtual”) say simulated. The docs overview says Instant accounts go “Live instantly with real Vest capital” and describes Live accounts as “Real Vest capital. Not simulated.” The terms are the binding document, so BestProps treats Vest Instant accounts as simulated.
  • Largest size. The docs say “Four capital sizes, from $500 up to $25,000.” The live catalog sells a fifth, $50,000 for $2,000. Vest announced $50,000 accounts on X on October 21, 2026.
  • Leverage. The docs give funded accounts up to 75x on some markets, the FAQ says “Funded Accounts support up to 50x leverage”, and the purchase catalog lists a maximum leverage of 5 on every Vest Capital plan, Instant included. Check the order ticket before sizing a trade.
  • US eligibility. The prop terms do not bar US residents, but claimed profit lands in the Primary Account, and Vest’s exchange terms bar US and UK persons. A US buyer should ask Vest in writing before paying.
  • Breach at the floor. The docs say equity equal to the floor does not breach; the FAQ says an account closes if it “touches or drops below”. Treat the floor as touch-to-breach.

Crypto Fund Trader Instant Evaluation

Crypto Fund Trader (CFT) is a Swiss-registered crypto prop firm operating since November 2022. Its perps route is the BYBIT platform option: you open your own Bybit account and connect a dedicated sub-account to CFT by API. Only USDT perpetual contracts are allowed on that route. The MT5 and Match-Trader versions of the same plans trade CFDs, not perps.

Starting size One-time fee Daily loss limit (4%) Overall loss limit (6%) First “Withdrawal & Upgrade” at 10% Split at the first level Profit needed to earn back the fee
$2,500 $125 $100 $150 $250 profit (balance $2,750) 50% $250 (10.0%)
$5,000 $240 $200 $300 $500 profit (balance $5,500) 50% $480 (9.6%)
$10,000 $475 $400 $600 $1,000 profit (balance $11,000) 50% $950 (9.5%)

Prices are from CFT’s homepage product data and its terms (section 5.6.4), read October 26, 2026. Dollar limits are our arithmetic from the published percentages.

How the scaling ladder works. Each time the account reaches 10% simulated profit, you can request a “Withdrawal & Upgrade”. CFT’s FAQ says the reward is processed and “your account will double in demo size”, up to $1,280,000. The split rises with each level, whatever size you start at:

Level 1st 2nd 3rd 4th 5th and later
Account size, starting at $2,500 $2,500 $5,000 $10,000 $20,000 $40,000 up to $1,280,000
Profit split 50% 60% 70% 80% 90%

On the $2,500 account, the first 10% ($250) at a 50% split is a $125 reward, which equals the fee. You break even at the first upgrade and start earning after it. On the $5,000 and $10,000 sizes, the first upgrade pays slightly more than the fee ($250 against $240, $500 against $475).

Other rules.

  • Payout timing. The 10% Withdrawal & Upgrade has “no minimum trading days requirement”. To take a reward before 10%, the standard rule applies: after at least 15 traded days, or every 30 calendar days.
  • Overall loss. The homepage Instant tab says “Maximum overall loss 6%”, while the 1-Phase tab says “Maximum trailing loss 6%”. CFT’s FAQ applies trailing drawdown only to 1-Phase and Break accounts, so the Instant limit reads as a fixed 6%. CFT calculates breaches on equity.
  • Account limit. Up to three active Instant Evaluation accounts at a time. They are counted separately from the $300,000 cap on other accounts.
  • KYC. Not needed to start on Bybit. You must pass KYC (ID, proof of address and a signed contract) before any reward is paid; you can start it once you buy an Instant account.
  • Payout rails. Bank transfer in EUR or USD, or USDT (ERC20 or TRC20), BTC or ETH. Average processing is about 8 hours; review can take up to 48 business hours.
  • Refunds. CFT’s refund policy gives a 14-day withdrawal right that you lose once you open a position.

Conflicts on CFT’s own pages:

  • Leverage. The FAQ gives Instant accounts crypto leverage of 1:5. The homepage Instant tab says “Up to 1:100”, and the FAQ says Bybit accounts get up to 1:100 depending on the instrument. The terms list Instant accounts among “Student Accounts”, which carry the lower crypto leverage. Plan for 1:5 until CFT confirms otherwise.
  • Demo or real execution. The terms call it a “Bybit demo account” and the homepage says “It’s all demo”. CFT’s instant funding guide lists its Instant Evaluation as best for “Real Bybit execution” and for “traders who want real-exchange execution”. Go by the terms.
  • Split. The same guide’s table lists CFT’s Instant profit share as “80-90%”. The homepage ladder starts at 50% and reaches 80% only at the fourth level.
  • US access. CFT adds no country restriction for Bybit, but you must comply with Bybit’s terms, and Bybit excludes the United States, Canada, mainland China, Hong Kong and Singapore, among others. US residents cannot use the perps route in practice.

Perps firms without instant funding

Four of the six firms do not sell an instant or direct-funded perps account. To get paid at any of them, you pass an evaluation first. Here is the cheapest one-step plan each one sells.

Firm What the firm’s pages say Cheapest one-step plan (list) Profit target Max drawdown Daily loss limit Funded split
My Funded Perps Every plan (Select, Prime, Signature, Elite) is a 1-Step evaluation Select $10,000, $40 ($30 on the homepage card with code PERPS) 9% ($900) 3% static ($300) 3% 80% (90% paid upgrade)
E8 Markets “Perpetual Futures is available for: E8 One, E8 pro”, both 1-step challenges E8 Pro $5,000 with 6% drawdown, $28 (shown at 50% off in the configurator) 6% ($300) 6% static ($300) 2.5% 80% (100% paid option)
Kraken Prop “Kraken Prop offers 1-Step evaluation plans across six account sizes.” Advanced $5,000, $20 9% ($450) 3% static ($150) 3% 80% (90% for +20% of the fee)
Propr Rulebook covers Classic, Turbo and Pro 1-Step and Classic 2-Step evaluations only Turbo 1-Step $5,000, $25 9% ($450) 3% static ($150) 3% 80%
  • My Funded Perps: Its $1,000 and $2,500 Select accounts and $1,000 Elite account are cheaper but pay out in store credit only, so they are left out. Elite starts at $5,000 for $49 list with a 5% static drawdown. Payout requests open in the funded stage: once per New York day on Select, Prime and Signature, with a $100 gross minimum. See the My Funded Perps review and rules.
  • E8 Markets: The E8 Pro target matches the drawdown you pick (6%, 8% or 10%). E8 One starts at $40 for $5,000 with 4% drawdown. Neither charges an activation fee. See the E8 Markets review and rules.
  • Kraken Prop: After you pass, Kraken says a funded account is typically ready “12 to 24 hours after you’ve completed account verification and signed the Funded Trader Agreement.” There is no BestProps Kraken Prop review yet; Kraken’s evaluation contract is with Breakout, covered in our Breakout review.
  • Propr: Its free trial does not grant capital. Evaluation fees are “non-refundable once the account is activated”. There is no BestProps Propr review yet.

Worked comparison: cost per $1,000 of drawdown

An account’s size tells you little. What you are really buying is the amount you can lose before the account closes. Dividing the fee by that dollar drawdown puts instant and evaluation accounts on one scale. List prices, overall or max drawdown only.

Account Type Fee (list) Dollar drawdown Cost per $1,000 of drawdown Daily loss limit
Vest Instant, any size ($500 to $50,000) Instant $10 to $2,000 Equal to the fee $1,000 None
CFT Instant $2,500 Instant Evaluation $125 $150 $833 $100
CFT Instant $5,000 Instant Evaluation $240 $300 $800 $200
CFT Instant $10,000 Instant Evaluation $475 $600 $792 $400
Propr Turbo 1-Step $5,000 1-step $25 $150 $167 $150
Kraken Prop Advanced $5,000 1-step $20 $150 $133 $150
My Funded Perps Select $10,000 1-step $40 $300 $133 $300
CFT 1-Phase $5,000 1-step $40 $300 (trailing) $133 $200
Vest 1-Step $5,000 (10% target, 3% daily) 1-step $40 $300 $133 $150
E8 Pro $5,000 (6% drawdown) 1-step $28 $300 $93 $125
Vest 1-Step $5,000 (20% target, 3% daily) 1-step $25 $300 $83 $150
Vest 2-Step $5,000 2-step $15 $300 $50 $150

Instant drawdown costs six to twelve times as much as one-step drawdown. With codes, the evaluation side gets cheaper still: My Funded Perps’ $30 card price works out to $100 per $1,000, and E8’s 50%-off display puts E8 Pro at about $47. Neither Vest nor Crypto Fund Trader published a code for their Instant products on October 26; CFT’s homepage BOO20 code has no stated scope.

Worked example at Vest, $5,000. The Instant account costs $200 and gives you $200 of drawdown. The 1-Step with a 10% target and 3% daily limit costs $40 and gives you $300 of drawdown, but you must make $500 first and keep each day’s loss under $150. The extra $160 for Instant buys three things: no target, no daily limit and a 95% split instead of 80%. In exchange you get a third less room before the account closes.

Worked example at Crypto Fund Trader, $5,000. The Instant Evaluation costs $240; the 1-Phase costs $40. Both carry a 4% daily limit and a 6% drawdown, although the 1-Phase drawdown trails your high balance until it reaches the starting balance. The extra $200 removes the 10% target, but your first reward is paid at 50% instead of the 1-Phase funded split of 80%.

Worked comparison: profit needed to earn back the fee

A second way to compare: how much simulated profit must you make before your payouts cover what you paid? For an instant account that is the fee divided by the split. For an evaluation, add the profit target, because evaluation profit is not paid out; payouts at these firms come from the funded stage. Vest’s homepage FAQ answers the question directly: “Do I keep the profits from passing the evaluation test? No.” Where a firm publishes a minimum payout request larger than the fee share, the minimum is used.

Account Fee Profit target first Funded profit to cover the fee Total simulated profit needed As % of account size Drawdown, for scale
Vest Instant $5,000 $200 None $210.53 (at 95%) $210.53 4.2% 4%
CFT Instant $5,000 $240 None $480 (at 50%) $480 9.6% 6%
E8 Pro $5,000 (6%) $28 $300 $50 (1% minimum request; $35 at 80%) $350 7.0% 6%
Kraken Prop Advanced $5,000 $20 $450 $25 (at 80%) $475 9.5% 3%
Propr Turbo 1-Step $5,000 $25 $450 $31.25 (at 80%; $20 minimum) $481.25 9.6% 3%
CFT 1-Phase $5,000 $40 $500 $50 (at 80%) $550 11.0% 6%
Vest 1-Step $5,000 (10% target) $40 $500 $50 (at 80%) $550 11.0% 6%
My Funded Perps Select $10,000 $40 $900 $100 ($100 gross minimum request; $50 at 80%) $1,000 10.0% 3%
Vest 2-Step $5,000 $15 $750 ($500 then $250) $18.75 (at 80%) $768.75 15.4% 6%
Vest 1-Step $5,000 (20% target) $25 $1,000 $31.25 (at 80%) $1,031.25 20.6% 6%

Read the last two columns together. Vest Instant has the shortest path to breaking even, 4.2% of the account, but the account closes at minus 4%: you need slightly more upside than the room you have on the downside. Crypto Fund Trader’s Instant needs about 9.6% against a 6% overall limit, much the same as the cheaper one-step plans, because its first-level split is 50%. Kraken Prop’s minimum payout isn’t stated for standard plans; CFT’s FAQ and terms don’t state one either (its blog says about $100). This math ignores the chance of failing. A cheap evaluation you fail twice costs you two fees.

What instant funding trades away

  • Fee per dollar of room. Covered above: about $790 to $1,000 per $1,000 of drawdown, against $83 to $167 for the cheapest one-step evaluations at these firms.
  • A thin cushion. Vest’s 4% and Crypto Fund Trader’s 6% overall limits are fixed from the first trade. There is no evaluation phase where a loss costs you only the fee for a cheaper test.
  • A lower first split at CFT. 50% until you have doubled the account, against 80% on its 1-Phase and 2-Phase funded stages. Vest goes the other way: Instant gets 95%, the evaluation path 80% or 90%.
  • Fewer accounts. Three active Instant accounts at CFT; ten Instant or live funded accounts at Vest.
  • Lower leverage at CFT. CFT’s FAQ gives Instant accounts 1:5 on crypto, well below the 1:100 it quotes for other Bybit accounts.
  • What you get back: no profit target, no minimum days, payout eligibility from day one at Vest (and at 10% at CFT), and no daily loss limit at Vest.

An instant account suits a trader whose edge is consistent but small, who would rather pay more up front than spend weeks on a target. A trader who is still testing a strategy usually gets more room for the money from a one-step evaluation.

Leverage, funding fees, weekends and payouts

Leverage against a small floor. On a $5,000 Vest Instant account at 5x, the maximum leverage in Vest’s purchase catalog, a full-size position is $25,000 notional. A 0.8% move against it uses the whole $200 drawdown. On a $2,500 CFT Instant account at 1:5, a full $12,500 position hits the $100 daily limit on a 0.8% move. Size positions to the dollar floor, not to the leverage cap.

Breach comes before liquidation. Vest liquidates when equity falls below maintenance margin at mark price, and maintenance margin is half the initial margin in its contract specs. The 2% to 4% drawdown floor sits far above that, so the prop rule closes the account long before the exchange would. The same is true of CFT’s 4% and 6% limits.

Funding fees count against the floor. Vest settles funding hourly. Its funding doc sets a 10.95% annual base rate on crypto, and “base interest can continue during weekends and trading locks”. On the CFT Bybit route you pay Bybit’s own funding. On a $200 cushion, a few days of paying funding on a large position matters.

Weekends. Crypto perps trade around the clock at both firms. From Friday 4:00 PM ET, Vest cuts Vest Capital leverage to 5x on ES and NQ and 3x on gold. Its temporary leverage limits doc says over-sized positions are reduced, and closed in full if the account is more than 1% below starting capital. On a 4% Instant account, 1% down is a quarter of your room.

Getting paid. Vest pays USDC: claimed profit reaches your Primary Account within 24 hours, then you withdraw on Base or Arbitrum (email sign-ups) or other supported chains. Vest’s withdrawal timing conflicts: the withdrawals doc says 24 hours for all withdrawals, the FAQ says instant up to $50,000 per rolling 24 hours. CFT pays by bank transfer or in USDT, BTC or ETH after KYC.

US traders. Neither instant product is a clean fit. Vest’s exchange terms bar US persons from the Primary Account where claimed profit lands, and CFT’s perps route depends on Bybit, which excludes the US.

Instant funding at other crypto prop firms

The six firms above are the perps programs BestProps tracks in this section. HyroTrader and Breakout are crypto prop firms whose accounts trade perpetual contracts on exchanges; check their current programs on our HyroTrader review and Breakout review. Several crypto CFD firms also sell no-evaluation accounts. For those, see the instant funding prop firms ranked by payback and the full crypto prop firm list. For futures, see instant funding futures prop firms.

Instant funding checklist

  • Confirm whether the product skips the evaluation (Vest) or only the profit target (CFT).
  • Write down the dollar floor and whether it is static, fixed or trailing, and whether touching it counts as a breach.
  • Check the leverage your account actually gets on the order ticket. Both firms’ pages disagree on it.
  • Work out the cost per $1,000 of drawdown and the profit needed to earn back the fee, using the split that applies at your level.
  • Check where payouts land and whether your country can receive them: Vest’s Primary Account terms, Bybit’s eligibility list for CFT.
  • Add funding or holding costs for the time you expect to hold positions, including weekends.
  • Save the terms, pricing page and loss-limit page on the day you buy. Vest added a $50,000 Instant size in October 2026 that its docs do not list yet.
  • Read the refund rule before you place a trade: three days unused at Vest, 14 days before your first position at CFT.

Instant funding perps questions

Which perps prop firms offer instant funding?

Two of the six BestProps tracks. Vest Markets sells Instant accounts from $500 (for $10) to $50,000 (for $2,000) with no evaluation. Crypto Fund Trader sells an Instant Evaluation from $2,500 (for $125) to $10,000 (for $475) that removes the profit target but keeps loss limits. My Funded Perps, E8 Markets, Kraken Prop and Propr require you to pass an evaluation.

Is a Vest Instant account real money?

No, going by Vest’s binding terms. Its prop terms say all accounts, including Instant Funded Accounts, are simulated, and payouts are program compensation from the firm’s funds. Vest’s docs say “real Vest capital”, which conflicts with the terms.

Is Crypto Fund Trader’s Instant Evaluation really instant funding?

Partly. You start trading without a profit target and can request a reward at 10% profit with no minimum days. But it is still an evaluation with a 4% daily and 6% overall loss limit, as CFT’s own guide says, and the first-level split is 50%.

What is the cheapest instant funding perps account?

Vest’s $500 Instant account at $10. Its drawdown is also $10, so it costs $1,000 per $1,000 of drawdown, the same as every Vest Instant size. Crypto Fund Trader’s $10,000 Instant Evaluation is slightly cheaper per dollar of drawdown, at about $792 per $1,000.

Does My Funded Perps offer instant funding?

No. Every My Funded Perps plan is a 1-Step evaluation. The cheapest that pays out in cash is Select $10,000 at $40 list, with a 9% target and a 3% static drawdown.

Do E8 Markets, Kraken Prop or Propr offer instant funded perps accounts?

No. E8 offers perps only on its E8 One and E8 Pro 1-step challenges (cheapest E8 Pro $5,000 at $28 list). Kraken Prop sells 1-Step evaluations only (cheapest Advanced $5,000 at $20). Propr’s rulebook covers 1-Step and 2-Step evaluations only (cheapest Turbo $5,000 at $25).

How much profit do I need to earn back an instant account fee?

Fee divided by the split. On a $5,000 Vest Instant account that is $210.53, or 4.2%, against a 4% drawdown. On a $5,000 CFT Instant Evaluation it is $480, or 9.6%, at the 50% first-lev
