Advanced checks before paying
  • Model a payout: on My Funded Perps Select, Prime and Signature, the first withdrawal moves the floor up to your starting balance, so leave profit in the account as a cushion.
  • Add commission and holding costs to your expected losing day. My Funded Perps charges 0.03% per crypto fill plus a daily swap. Vest charges 0.01% taker and 0% maker, plus hourly funding.
  • Check that your markets exist on the funded account. Vest excludes XRP and HYPE from evaluation and funded accounts, and both firms close or lock non-crypto markets over the weekend.
  • Confirm your country with both the firm and its payout route: Rise for My Funded Perps, and Vest’s exchange terms for Vest.

Short answer: My Funded Perps vs Vest Markets is closer than it looks on price. At $10K, $25K and $50K, the matched 1-Step plans (10% target, 3% daily loss, 6% static drawdown, 80/20) cost within $7 of each other at list price. My Funded Perps then takes 25% off with its own PERPS code. The real difference comes after you pass. Vest’s floor never moves, so a payout leaves your full drawdown in place, and you can claim profit at any time in USDC. My Funded Perps locks the floor to your starting balance at the first withdrawal on Select, Prime and Signature, allows one request a day and caps lifetime payouts at $100,000 per user. In exchange, My Funded Perps publishes its full market list (66 crypto perps among 122 markets) with leverage and exposure caps for every market, allows API trading and does not restrict US traders. Vest’s US position is unclear, and its own pages disagree on whether accounts are simulated. Neither firm is better for everyone.

This page compares My Funded Perps (also written MyFundedPerps or My Funded Perpetuals) and Vest Markets (whose funded program is called Vest Capital) plan by plan. Every number below comes from the firms’ own websites, docs, FAQs and terms, read on October 26, 2026. Where a firm’s own pages disagree, we say so.

Both firms’ terms describe every account as simulated, including funded and Instant accounts, and payouts are paid by each company from its own funds under its rules. Perpetual futures are leveraged products. This is educational research, not financial advice.

Prices at $5K, $10K, $25K and $50K

My Funded Perps publishes list prices and its own codes. The homepage banner reads “Use code ELITE for 25% off your first two purchases — 20% off every purchase after”, and the plan cards link to checkout with code PERPS, which showed 25% off list. After your first purchase, discounts above 20% are limited to 3 orders per 90 days, and codes don’t stack. Its FAQ says PERPS is applied automatically, while its docs say it is not. We found no firm-published code at Vest, whose checkout has an “Add Code” field. BestProps has no codes of its own.

Resets and other costs

  • Resets: neither firm sells a reset. A breached account is closed, and you buy a new one at the current price.
  • My Funded Perps Reduced Fees add-on: halves commission and swap for the life of a Select, Prime or Signature account. It costs 10% of the price after discounts, with a $10 minimum, and isn’t available on Elite. From 9:00 AM ET on October 21 to 9:00 AM ET on October 28, the firm offers it free on up to 3 accounts.
  • My Funded Perps Second Chance: 35% off your first account if you show proof of a purchase at another prop firm. The code expires 72 hours after it is issued.
  • Vest daily-limit choice: a 4% daily limit costs roughly 1.3 to 1.5 times the 3% price, and no daily limit about 1.8 to 2 times. A 20% target costs about 0.55 to 0.67 times the 10% price.

Both firms let you pass in a single day. My Funded Perps fails an evaluation after 30 consecutive days without an executed trade and closes a funded account after 7. We found no inactivity rule on Vest’s pricing page, FAQ or loss-limit docs. One conflict to note: My Funded Perps’ terms list “minimum trading day requirements” among challenge rules, while its FAQ and docs say there are none.

Drawdown rules: static floors and what a payout does to them

Both firms use a static maximum drawdown measured from starting balance, and equity (including open positions) is checked against it at all times. The difference is what happens when you take money out.

PlanMax drawdown ($25K)Floor before a payoutFloor after a payout
MFP Select3% ($750)$24,250$25,000 from the first withdrawal, permanently
MFP Prime5% ($1,250)$23,750$25,000 from the first withdrawal
MFP Signature6% ($1,500)$23,500$25,000 from the first withdrawal
MFP Elite5% ($1,250)$23,750$23,750; it never moves
Vest 1-Step and 2-Step6% ($1,500)$23,500$23,500; it never moves
Vest Instant4% ($1,000, equal to the fee)$24,000$24,000; it never moves

Worked example, $25K with $1,500 profit. At Vest you claim the $1,500 and receive $1,200 at 80/20. Equity goes back to $25,000 with the floor still at $23,500, so you keep $1,500 of room for the next cycle. On My Funded Perps Signature, a $1,500 withdrawal pays you $1,200, but the floor moves to $25,000 and equity is $25,000, so any loss breaches. In practice you would withdraw less. A $1,000 withdrawal pays $800 and leaves $500 of room above the new $25,000 floor. My Funded Perps Elite behaves like Vest: its floor stays at starting balance minus 5%.

Edge cases. My Funded Perps’ docs say that before the lock, reaching the floor breaches, and after the lock, equity exactly at the floor is allowed. Vest’s docs say equality does not breach, but its FAQ says the account closes if value “touches or drops below” the floor. Treat touching the floor as a breach at both firms.

Daily loss limits

  • My Funded Perps: 3% of starting balance on Select, Prime, Signature and Elite 3% DLL; none on Elite No DLL. It is measured from start-of-day equity, open profit and loss included, and resets at midnight New York time. The swap charged at midnight counts toward the day that just ended.
  • Vest: 3%, 4% or none, chosen at purchase on the evaluation path; never on Instant. It resets at 20:00 ET. The docs say the reset balance excludes open profit and loss, so an unrealised gain does not raise that day’s floor. The FAQ says equity including open profit and loss is used. Withdrawals lower the day’s floor by the full amount.
  • Both firms: breaching the daily limit closes the account permanently. It is not a pause.

Consistency rules, trading days and inactivity

Neither firm has a consistency rule, a minimum number of trading days or a time limit, in the evaluation or funded stage. You can make the whole target in one trade at either firm. The practical limits are elsewhere: My Funded Perps’ 7-day funded inactivity rule and per-market exposure caps, and Vest’s weekend leverage cuts on index and gold perps.

Payouts: split, cadence, minimums and caps

PlanSplitHow oftenMinimumCaps
MFP Select, Prime, Signature80/20; 90/10 with the upgradeOne request per New York calendar day$100 gross ($80 to you at 80/20)$100,000 lifetime per user, after the split (FAQ and docs)
MFP Elite80/20; 90/10 with the upgradeOn demand1% of size: $50 / $100 / $250 / $500Same lifetime cap
Vest 1-Step and 2-Step80/20 or 90/10 (2-Step 80/20 only)On demandNoneNo cap on frequency or amount; $50,000 per rolling 24 hours on withdrawals
Vest Instant95/5On demandNoneSame

Before you request at My Funded Perps, the account must be flat (positions closed, orders cancelled), and trading is locked while the request is pending. Submitted requests can’t be cancelled. The full gross amount leaves the account on approval. Vest may also require you to close positions or orders before a claim, and claims can’t be reversed once started.

Three My Funded Perps conflicts are worth knowing. On the lifetime cap, the FAQ and docs set $100,000 per user, while two blog posts (October 4 and 15) say Select, Prime and Signature have “no lifetime payout cap”. On rejections, the docs and FAQ say a rejected request restores that day’s allowance, while the blog says it “still consumes” it. On store credit, the docs give a 5% boost and the FAQ and blog say 10%. If you plan to earn past $100,000, ask support which statement applies before you buy. For more on how caps change real payouts, see how prop firm payout caps work.

Payout methods, speed and KYC

  • My Funded Perps: cash goes through Rise, which you join by invitation from the payouts panel. You can also take store credit, which gets a boost and expires after 45 days, or a mix of the two. The firm doesn’t say which rails Rise offers you. Every request is reviewed manually, there is no promised payout time, and requests submitted between midnight and 9:00 AM ET can take a few extra hours. Payouts require Sumsub identity verification (government ID plus a liveness check).
  • Vest: Claim Profit moves your split to your Vest Primary Account, credited within 24 hours. You then withdraw USDC to a wallet: email sign-ups withdraw on Base or Arbitrum, and wallet sign-ups can use other chains. The minimum withdrawal is 1 USDC and the limit is $50,000 per rolling 24 hours. The FAQ says withdrawals under that limit are instant, and the withdrawals doc says all withdrawals take 24 hours. Vest’s terms reserve “any verification we reasonably require”, but it doesn’t name a KYC provider or say when checks happen.

We have not tested a payout at either firm; the timings above are the firms’ own statements.

Simulated or real capital

QuestionMy Funded PerpsVest Markets
What the terms saySimulated paper trading. No pathway to real capital or a live funded account; payouts come “from the Company’s own funds”All accounts, Instant included, are simulated. Payouts are “Program compensation” paid from general corporate funds
What other pages sayThe FAQ and docs describe Elite as having “no Live promotion”, which implies other plans might have one; no page describes a live stage. The competitions page says “Trade real order books”The docs and FAQ say “Real Vest capital. Not simulated.” The FAQ says that when an account goes Live, “the capital behind it is real” and fees stop being simulated
Where prices come fromHyperliquid, Binance and Bybit data (Veranta for FX, Ostium for US30); no order reaches an exchangeVest’s own exchange order book

We treat the terms as binding at both firms: you sign them at checkout, and they are what governs a dispute. If “real capital” matters to you at Vest, ask for that in writing, because its own prop terms say the opposite.

Leverage, exposure caps and liquidation

  • My Funded Perps publishes a maximum per market: BTC 10x, ETH 8x, SOL and BNB 5x, XRP, HYPE and DOGE 3x, and most other crypto 2x. FX runs from 25x to 50x, SP500, NAS100 and US30 12x, gold 10x, oil 8x and large-cap stocks 4x. Elite raises NAS100 and SP500 to 40x, US30 to 25x, gold to 20x and oil to 10x. Per-market notional caps also apply ($1M on BTC and ETH, $2M on SP500 and NAS100, $50K to $250K on most other crypto). On Select, Prime and Signature these caps are shared across your accounts of the same plan and size. Liquidated positions pay an extra 0.1% penalty.
  • Vest gives conflicting figures. Its docs say funded accounts can use up to 75x (ES 75x; NQ, RTY and YM 50x; most stocks and FX 5x), its FAQ says 50x, and for BTC the docs text says 15x while the docs table says 25x. From Friday 4 PM ET, Vest Capital accounts drop to 5x on ES and NQ and 3x on gold. Positions more than 2% above the reduced cap are cut, and closed in full if the account is more than 1% below starting capital. Maintenance margin is half the initial margin.

At either firm the drawdown floor arrives long before a liquidation. A 6% floor on a $25K account is $1,500. On a 10x BTC position worth $250,000, that is a 0.6% move. Size positions from the floor, not the leverage cap.

Account limits. My Funded Perps allows $100K of active evaluations per plan type and $100K funded per plan type, up to $300K funded in total. It also caps purchases at 10 accounts per 24 hours, 25 per 7 days and 50 per 30 days. Vest allows up to 100 evaluation accounts and 10 live funded accounts per user.

Platforms, venue, API and copy trading

My Funded Perps runs an in-house web terminal that you can install as an app, plus a beta REST API, a command-line tool and an MCP server. Automation is allowed only through its documented API. Copy trading is allowed only between your own accounts with its native tool, and a funded account can’t follow an evaluation account. It offers cross and isolated margin.

Vest puts the prop account inside its exchange app, next to the Primary Account where profit lands. API trading is not available on evaluation, funded or Instant accounts. Vest publishes incident reports. Three in 2026 (April 15, June 8 and June 30) involved pricing problems, which were followed by a rollback or compensation.

Read October 26, 2026 from My Funded Perps’ commissions-and-fees doc and Vest’s markets, funding and FAQ pages. Vest says 25 markets go reduce-only and close on October 30, 2026.

For an active crypto trader the fee gap matters. Ten round trips a day of a $50,000 position cost $300 in commission at My Funded Perps (0.03% per fill), or $150 with the Reduced Fees add-on. At Vest, the same trades as taker cost $100, and as maker nothing. On a $25K account with a $750 daily limit, $300 is 40% of the day’s room.

Is it better to trade futures or crypto here? Vest is built around index perps that track CME futures (ES, NQ, RTY, YM) as well as crypto. Some Vest reviewers complain that its perp prices did not track CME futures closely. My Funded Perps leans towards crypto, with 66 crypto markets, and also lists stocks, indices, FX and commodities.

Countries, payments and refunds

Restricted countries. My Funded Perps restricts 30 countries, including Russia, Belarus, Ukraine, Pakistan, the Philippines, Vietnam, Kenya, Taiwan, Cambodia, Uzbekistan, Venezuela and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Vest’s prop terms restrict Cuba, North Korea, Iran, Russia, Syria and the Philippines, plus the Venezuelan government and sanctioned persons. Its exchange terms, which govern the Primary Account where your claimed profit lands, also bar the UK and the US. Traders in Ukraine, Vietnam, Kenya, Pakistan or Taiwan can look at Vest but not My Funded Perps. Traders in the US or UK can use My Funded Perps, while Vest has not said clearly whether they can take payouts.

Paying. My Funded Perps takes cards and crypto. Cards aren’t available in 92 countries, where buyers must pay in crypto. Vest takes cards and Apple Pay through Stripe or TailoredPay, Whop, crypto, or your Vest payout balance.

Refunds. My Funded Perps refunds within 48 hours only if there has been no trading activity, and accessing market data counts as activity. A non-refundable $25 fee is deducted. Vest refunds within 3 days if no trades have been placed (docs, FAQ and prop terms), although its homepage FAQ says 28 days.

Reputation and published track record

  • Trustpilot (read October 26, 2026): My Funded Perps 4.7 from 214 reviews (90% five-star, 3% one-star). Vest Markets 3.3 from 6 reviews, split evenly between five-star and one-star. Vest’s negative reviews mention perp prices not tracking CME futures, fills or stops worse than chosen, and chart freezes. Its positive reviews mention fast withdrawals and simple rules. Six reviews is too few to rate a firm on.
  • PropFirmMatch: My Funded Perps 4.9 from 11 reviews; Vest has no reviews yet.
  • My Funded Perps says it comes from the team behind My Funded Futures. My Funded Futures’ own announcement says My Funded Perps is a separate company and that My Funded Futures’ track record does not apply. The homepage stat “Partner Firm Payouts $250M+” refers to that partner firm. No launch date is published, and payout requests opened on September 11, 2026. Our My Funded Futures review and My Funded Futures payouts guide cover the futures firm.
  • Vest names CEO Justin Ma and says it has raised $18 million in total, including a $13 million round led by Portal Ventures (press release, October 7, 2026). Its own figure that 26% of more than 27,000 traders have been paid comes from a press release and is not audited. It does not publish a launch date for Vest Capital; PropFirmMatch lists October 2025.

Which firm fits which trader

My Funded Perps tends to suit you if you:

  • Trade a wide range of crypto. It publishes all 66 of its crypto perps with leverage and exposure caps. Vest describes its crypto list as “BTC, ETH, and a growing list of pairs”, and excludes XRP and HYPE from prop accounts.
