BestProps Research Team

BestProps Research Team is the organizational byline used when a page is produced through BestProps’ shared research and editorial process rather than attributed to one individual. It identifies who is accountable for the page; it is not a claim about team size, professional credentials, or first-hand use of a prop firm.

What the BestProps Research Team does

• Defines the specific trader question, program, account type, market, and decision a page needs to address.
• Checks consequential terms against current official or primary sources, including published rules, help-center articles, pricing pages, checkout terms, program agreements, and official notices.
• Separates source-documented facts from BestProps interpretations, comparisons, and fit-based recommendations.
• Records material limits, conflicts, program-specific differences, simulation status, and facts that could not be confirmed.
• Rechecks time-sensitive claims and narrows, updates, labels, or removes language that the available evidence no longer supports.

Reviews and comparisons are document-based unless a page describes a dated first-hand test and its method, result, and limitations. A BestProps byline alone does not mean an account was purchased, a platform was traded, a payout was requested, or every claim about a firm was independently verified.

How research becomes a published page

1. Scope the decision. We define the reader, market, program stage, and dominant question before collecting claims.
2. Prioritize primary evidence. Current firm-owned terms and other primary documents support changing rules, prices, eligibility, platforms, and payout conditions. Search results, aggregators, reviews, forums, and social posts can identify questions or conflicts but do not verify these terms by themselves.
3. Resolve or expose conflicts. When official sources disagree, the page identifies the conflict, narrows the claim, or withholds a conclusion instead of guessing.
4. Separate evidence from judgment. Sourced terms are presented as facts about the cited record. “Best for,” “better fit,” and similar conclusions are editorial interpretations tied to stated criteria.
5. Review before and after publication. BestProps checks the page’s claims, links, disclosures, and presentation, then rechecks material facts when the page is refreshed or a correction is reported.

How BestProps uses AI assistance

BestProps uses AI-assisted tools to help organize research, compare source text, identify possible gaps or conflicts, draft and edit copy, and run quality checks. Automation output is not treated as evidence. Source selection, claim scope, unresolved conflicts, editorial conclusions, and publication decisions remain accountable to BestProps.

AI assistance does not create permission to invent experience, credentials, quotations, tests, payouts, or firm facts. When a statement cannot be responsibly supported, it should be qualified, withheld, or removed.

How to read BestProps labels and recommendations

BestProps verifies narrow claims, not entire firms. “Reviewed” does not mean hands-on testing, and “best” describes a fit for a stated use case rather than a universal winner. BestProps does not currently publish an overall numerical rating unless its evidence inputs and calculation can be inspected. Commercial relationships and editorial judgment

A commercial relationship cannot turn an unsupported claim into a fact, remove a material rule or risk caveat, or improve an editorial conclusion. Corrections, questions, and source updates

Prop-firm rules and offers change. If you find a dated term, a missing qualification, a broken source, or language that appears broader than the evidence, send the page URL and supporting source through the BestProps contact page. BestProps will review the record and narrow, correct, update, or remove unsupported language.
