TL;DR: Phidias Propfirm is a futures prop firm run by Phidias Propfirm Limited in Gibraltar. On October 11, 2026 it sold three funded paths plus a monthly contest: Express to Live (25K to 150K, static drawdown, no minimum days, no consistency rule, a fixed bonus and a move to a live account after one cash target), Fundamental (50K to 150K, end-of-day trailing drawdown, intraday only, 80% split) and Premium (50K to 150K, overnight and weekend holds, payouts every 5 trading days, a split that climbs from 75% to 100%). List prices run from $88 to $1,125 before discounts, and the site’s live promo cuts one-time accounts by 80%. That makes a 25K Express to Live about $55 and a 100K Premium one-time account $180. You can trade on Rithmic, Tradovate (with TradingView and NinjaTrader) or DeepCharts. Fundamental and Premium payouts are capped at $2,000 to $2,750 per cycle until you reach a live account. Phidias says it has never denied a payout. Trustpilot tells a different story: it has suspended the firm’s rating for a guideline breach and removed fake reviews, and 34% of the 339 reviews are one-star, many describing bans after a payout request. All sales are final, and 59 countries and regions are restricted.

Research status: On October 11, 2026 we checked this review against Phidias’s own pages: the rules page, the accounts page and the pricing data behind it, the homepage, the terms of use, the about and contact pages, the platform page and the help centre. We read Trustpilot, Reddit, Prop Firm Match and Forex Peace Army the same day. Prices and promo codes change often, so recheck them at checkout. We did not buy an account, so anything that only shows after purchase is printed as Phidias publishes it, not tested.

Phidias prop firm review verdict: is it legit?

Phidias is a real, operating futures prop firm. It names a Gibraltar company with a registration number and address, publishes one long rules page that covers every account type, sells through a working checkout, and runs a Discord server and YouTube live streams. Plenty of traders on Trustpilot and Reddit say they have been paid, some of them many times, often to Rise within hours.

The product itself has some unusual strengths:

  • Express to Live accounts use a static drawdown that never trails, with no minimum days, no consistency rule and no daily loss limit.
  • Premium accounts allow overnight and weekend holds, which most futures firms ban.
  • Premium’s profit split rises to 100% from the fifth payout.
  • One-time payment accounts have no activation fee and no monthly bill.

The weak points are just as clear:

  • Fundamental and Premium payouts are capped at $2,000 to $2,750 per cycle, and you must first build a buffer of $2,600 to $4,500 above the starting balance.
  • The move to a live account is discretionary for Fundamental and Premium, and Phidias can decline it even after you meet the thresholds.
  • All purchases are final, with no refunds at all.
  • The account limit counts everyone at the same address or IP address together.

The trust signals are mixed. Phidias advertises “Zero Denied Payouts” over three years. On October 11, 2026 Trustpilot showed the firm’s rating as unavailable “due to a breach of our guidelines” and said it had removed fake reviews. Of 339 reviews, 59% were five-star and 34% one-star. Most recent one-star reviews describe accounts closed or payouts refused after a payout request, usually over multiple accounts at one address, VPS use or disputed fills, rather than a missed payout on an approved request. We cannot check individual cases. BestProps does not give Phidias a numeric score. Our review methodology explains how we check firms.

Who runs Phidias Propfirm

The contact page names Phidias Propfirm Limited, registration number GICO.123937-76, at Suite 4.3.02, Block 4, Eurotowers, Gibraltar GX11 1AA. The site footer says the company owns and operates phidiaspropfirm.com. The terms of use are governed by Gibraltar law and are written in French. Only the French text counts in a dispute, and the team describes itself as French-speaking, with support also in English and Spanish.

Phidias is not a broker and does not say it is regulated. Its terms treat traders as independent contractors, not employees, and say no service is an investment service. The terms define a CASH account as a “virtual currency account where performance is paid by the Company”, so the funded stage is simulated even though it is called CASH. Only a LIVE account is funded with real money. Phidias says LIVE trades are cleared by Dorman Trading, a registered futures commission merchant, through Sweet Futures, with data from Tradovate and Rithmic.

The homepage says the firm has operated for three years, has paid more than $15 million and has funded more than 50,000 traders. These are the firm’s own figures and are not audited. The official site is phidiaspropfirm.com, the dashboard is member.phidiaspropfirm.com and the help centre is helpcenter.phidiaspropfirm.com. Do not confuse the firm with other businesses that use the Phidias name.

How Phidias works: evaluation, CASH and LIVE

Every path has the same three stages, but the rules at each stage differ by account type:

  1. Evaluation. Buy an account, connect a platform and reach the profit target without hitting the drawdown. Express to Live has no minimum days, Premium needs 1 trading day and Fundamental needs 3.
  2. CASH account. Once you pass, Phidias audits the account within 24 to 72 business hours. You pay the activation fee if you bought the monthly or evaluation-only option, and you sign a contract. The CASH account is simulated, and Phidias pays you from its own funds when you meet the payout rules.
  3. LIVE account. Real capital at Dorman Trading. Express to Live moves you there automatically after one cash target. Fundamental and Premium traders may be offered it after 5 payouts or $100,000 in profit, at Phidias’s discretion. On LIVE the split is 80% and payouts are daily with no cap.

A failed monthly evaluation can be reset for a fee, or it resets on its own when the next 30-day cycle starts. You keep paying the monthly fee until you pass or cancel. Our guide to how futures prop firm evaluations work explains the stages in general.

A plain way to choose:

  • Express to Live suits a trader who can hit a target with a small fixed loss limit and wants the shortest route to a live account. The drawdown is small compared with the target, so the target is three times the room on a 25K and four and a half times on a 150K.
  • Fundamental suits an intraday trader who wants more room to lose and steady capped payouts at the lowest monthly price.
  • Premium suits a trader who holds positions overnight, wants faster payout cycles and plans to stay long enough to reach the 100% split.

Phidias pricing and the activation fee

Each account can be bought two ways. The evaluation or monthly option is cheaper up front, but you pay an activation fee when you pass. Fundamental and Premium also bill monthly until you pass or cancel. The one-time payment option covers both the evaluation and the CASH account, with no activation fee and no recurring bill.

The table shows the list prices in US dollars from the pricing data behind Phidias’s accounts page on October 11, 2026. The sale column applies the discount percentages in that same data for the current site-wide promo. Prices exclude VAT, which is added for individuals in the European Union.

Account Evaluation or monthly, list With current promo Activation fee on pass One-time, list With current promo
Express to Live 25K $88 one-time eval $44 $83 $277 $69.25 (or $55.40 at 80% off)
Express to Live 50K $278 one-time eval $139 $149 $723 $144.60
Express to Live 100K $318 one-time eval $136.74 $149 $900 $180
Express to Live 150K $398 one-time eval $199 $169 $1,125 $225
Fundamental 50K $164 per month $65.60 $149 $580 $116
Fundamental 100K $273 per month $109.20 $149 $723 $144.60
Fundamental 150K $420 per month $168 $169 $863 $172.60
Premium 50K $329 per month $131.60 $149 $723 $144.60
Premium 100K $411 per month $164.40 $149 $900 $180
Premium 150K $570 per month $285 $169 $1,123 $224.60

We read these from Phidias’s public pricing data on October 11, 2026; they are not verified by purchase. Phidias’s terms say prices are for reference and subject to any promotion. The pricing data does not say whether the monthly discount applies after the first month, so plan on the list price for later months.

What the promo changes. At list price the monthly route is far cheaper up front. With 80% off one-time accounts, the one-time route is often cheaper even before the activation fee. A 100K Premium costs $164.40 for the first month plus $149 to activate, or $180 once. A 150K Premium costs $285 for the first month, more than the $224.60 one-time price on its own. If you expect to need more than a month to pass, the one-time option is cheaper again.

How much is a $100,000 Phidias account? At list price, $318 to $411 for the first evaluation month or $723 to $900 one-time. With the October 11, 2026 promo, $109.20 to $164.40 for the first month (plus a $149 activation fee) or $136.74 for a 100K Express to Live evaluation (plus $149), and $144.60 to $180 one-time.

Resets. A failed monthly Fundamental or Premium evaluation can be reset for $40 (50K), $64 (100K) or $104 (150K), or it resets free at the next billing cycle. A one-time evaluation reset costs the same as a new one-time account. Premium also has a one-off reset for a funded CASH account, covered below. See our futures prop firm reset fee comparison for how this compares.

Payment. Phidias’s rules say you can pay by any credit or debit card. One trader on Reddit said a card was declined repeatedly, and another said the full $277 was charged when the discount did not apply. Phidias credited the difference to its internal wallet, not the card. Check that the code shows on the final checkout line before you pay.

Discount codes and the current sale

On October 11, 2026 Phidias published two codes on its own site:

  • Q4PUSH, in the promo bar on every page, with the text “80% Off OTP & Up to 60% Off Evals. Limited time”. OTP means one-time payment. The pricing data behind the site sets 80% off every one-time account except the 25K Express to Live (75%), and 50% to 60% off evaluations. No end date is published.
  • PHIDIAS80, shown under the accounts configurator and given to anyone who enters the newsletter giveaway, described as “Up to 80% off, applied at checkout”. The configurator prices a 25K Express to Live one-time account at $55, “$277 without code”.

The 10K Drawdown Challenge rules also list a price of $30 “use code PHIDIAS”. Codes are not applied automatically, and one Trustpilot reviewer said the checkout assigned the wrong plan after using Q4PUSH, so check the plan, size, platform and price on the final screen. Coupon sites list other Phidias codes that we could not confirm with the firm. Our prop firm deals page tracks codes that firms publish themselves.

Express to Live: the bonus and the switch to live

Express to Live works differently from every other account at Phidias. There is no payout request on the CASH account. You reach the profit target a second time and press “Switch to Live”.

Size Static drawdown Liquidation level Target (eval and CASH) Bonus payout LIVE credit Max LIVE size
25K $500 $24,500 $1,500 $1,000 $500 2 lots
50K $650 $49,350 $2,500 $2,000 $1,000 3 lots
100K $800 $99,200 $3,500 $3,000 $1,500 4 lots
150K $1,000 $149,000 $4,500 $4,500 $2,000 5 lots

When you switch, the bonus goes to your Phidias Wallet, the LIVE credit funds a real account at Dorman Trading, and the CASH account converts to LIVE. The LIVE account’s loss room is set by your LIVE credit, and each further Express to Live account you pass adds its credit to the same LIVE account, up to 5 accounts. LIVE payouts are daily with a $500 minimum and no cap, at an 80% split. A $122 monthly LIVE fee is listed as waived. Overnight holds stay banned on LIVE unless Phidias agrees. If you blow a LIVE account that came from Express to Live, you cannot buy a new one for a month.

One point to clear up before you buy: Phidias calls the bonus “$1,000 (80/20 split)” and says it is “subject to the 80/20 profit split”. The rules do not say whether the $1,000 is already your 80% share or whether you receive 80% of it ($800). Ask support in writing.

Worked example, 25K Express to Live. A trader buys the one-time account for $55.40 with the 80% code. They make $1,500 in the evaluation without ever falling to $24,500, then make $1,500 again on the CASH account and press “Switch to Live”. They receive the $1,000 bonus in the wallet (or $800 if the split is taken from it) and a LIVE account with $500 of loss room. Their outlay was $55.40 and, at best, they turned $3,000 of simulated profit into $1,000 plus a small live account. On the evaluation-only route the outlay is $44 plus the $83 activation fee, or $127.

The trap is the ratio of target to drawdown. On a 25K you need $1,500 twice and can never be more than $500 below your start. If you go up $1,200 and then give back $1,700, the account is gone. See our list of prop firms with static drawdown for how other firms size this.

Drawdown rules: static and end-of-day trailing

Static (Express to Live). The liquidation level is the starting balance minus the drawdown and never moves: $24,500 on a 25K. It does not rise with profit, so profit you build is extra room. There is no daily loss limit.

End-of-day trailing (Fundamental and Premium). Phidias recalculates the floor once a day, at the session end of 10:00 PM UTC+2, using closed balance only. It does not move during the day. Phidias’s example: a 50K starts with a $47,500 floor. If you end the day $500 up, the floor rises to $48,000. If you start the day at $50,000 and make $1,000 by mid-morning, the floor stays at $47,500, so you could lose $3,500 from that high before the account closes.

On evaluation accounts the floor keeps trailing to the end. On funded CASH accounts it stops at the starting balance plus $100: $50,100 on a 50K, $100,100 on a 100K and $150,100 on a 150K. After that the floor is fixed.

Worked example, 100K Fundamental CASH account. The floor starts at $97,000. The trader ends four days at $101,200, $102,600, $102,100 and $103,900. The floor moves to $98,200, then $99,600, stays at $99,600 on the down day, then reaches $100,100 and stops there, not at $100,900. From then on, the trader has $3,800 of room above the fixed $100,100 floor. Our guide to prop firms with end-of-day drawdown compares how far other firms let the floor trail.

The 30% consistency rule, with worked numbers

The 30% rule applies only to Fundamental and Premium CASH accounts. It does not apply to any evaluation or to Express to Live. No single trading day’s profit may be more than 30% of your total profit, measured over at least 4 trading days. Breaking it does not close the account. It just means you cannot withdraw until total profit grows enough.

The formula: best day ÷ total profit must be 30% or less, so the total profit you need = best day ÷ 0.30.

Best day Total profit needed Example
$250 $833.33 Four $250 days ($1,000): 25%, passes
$350 $1,166.67 $350 + $150 + $250 + $250 = $1,000: 35%, add $166.67
$800 $2,666.67 A 50K buffer target of $2,600 is not enough on its own
$1,500 $5,000 One big day means $5,000 of total profit before any withdrawal

The rule hurts most when one big day comes early. A 50K CASH account must already be at $52,600 to withdraw. If your best day was $1,200, you need $4,000 of total profit before the rule is met. One Reddit trader said a single huge day pushed their profit target to nearly $40,000. Our consistency rule calculator runs the numbers for any day, and our consistency rule guide compares firms.

News, overnight holds, hours, bots and copy trading

  • News: allowed on every account at every stage. The consistency policy still warns against “full margin trading during high volatility economic announcements”.
  • Overnight and weekend: allowed on Premium only, with position size matched to the account. Fundamental and Express to Live positions left open at the close disqualify the account.
  • Trading hours (Fundamental): Sunday to Friday, 11:00 PM to 9:59 PM UTC, with all positions closed by 9:59 PM UTC.
  • Bots: robots, fully automated algorithms and high-frequency trading are banned. Semi-automated tools are allowed if you watch and adjust every trade.
  • Copy trading: allowed with third-party software, within the account limits. Identical strategies above the capital limit can be suspended.
  • Hedging across accounts: you may not be long in one account and short in another, including with other traders. Phidias treats it as a group strategy and closes both sides.
  • Instruments: trade the front, most liquid contract. Calendar spreads between two expiries and one-tick Treasury arbitrage are banned. Treasury traders must ask for CBOT data.
  • DCA: averaging into a position is allowed, but position size, trading days and risk must stay consistent.
  • Lottery trades: Phidias can remove positions, reduce contracts or close accounts for repeated “gambling” behaviour.

Phidias’s published rules do not mention VPN or VPS use. One Trustpilot reviewer said Phidias banned them for trading through a US VPS from Brazil and quoted support as saying VPS and VPN use is “strictly prohibited”. If you use a VPS, ask support in writing first. See our guide to prop firms for swing trading if overnight holds matter to you.

Phidias payouts

Fundamental and Premium CASH accounts follow these rules. Express to Live uses the bonus system above.

Item 50K 100K 150K
Balance needed before a request $52,600 $103,700 $154,500
Balance must stay at or above $50,100 $100,100 $150,100
Max per payout cycle $2,000 $2,500 $2,750
Minimum daily profit for a day to count $150 $200 $250
  • Frequency: 10 qualifying trading days between requests on Fundamental, 5 on Premium. A day counts only after the market closes, with profit above the minimum.
  • Minimum: $500 on the rules page. The terms of use say $1,000.
  • Split: Fundamental 80%. Premium 75% on payout 1, 80% on payout 2, 85% on payout 3, 90% on payout 4 and 100% from payout 5.
  • Method: payouts go to your Phidias Wallet, then to a bank account through Rise (RISEWORKS.io). Wallet money can also buy new accounts or fund a LIVE account.
  • Speed: Phidias says 90% of payouts are processed in under 30 minutes and all within 24 hours.

Worked example, 50K Fundamental. The account reaches $53,400 after 10 days with at least $150 profit each, and the best day is $900, which is 26% of $3,400. The trader can withdraw $3,300 above the $50,100 floor, but the cap is $2,000. They request $2,000 and receive $1,600 at 80%. The balance drops to $51,400, so they must rebuild to $52,600 before the next request.

Worked example, 100K Premium. If each payout reaches the $2,500 cap, the first five pay $1,875, $2,000, $2,125, $2,250 and $2,500, or $10,750 in total, with at least 5 qualifying days between them. The split applies to the capped amount. From payout 5 the trader keeps the whole $2,500 per cycle until a LIVE move, where the split drops back to 80% but the cap goes away.

The cap is the main limit on what you can earn here. A trader who makes $8,000 in a cycle on a 50K still withdraws $2,000. Our guide to how prop firm payout caps work explains the trade-off, and our prop firm payout guides compare other firms.

LIVE, ELITE and MASTER accounts

For Fundamental and Premium traders, LIVE is offered, not requested. You become eligible at 5 successful payouts or $100,000 of cumulative profit across your accounts. Phidias’s risk team decides and can approve, defer or decline. The terms say you cannot refuse the move or stay on CASH once it decides. Express to Live payouts do not count toward these thresholds.

  • LIVE credit when you move: up to $750 per active 50K CASH account, $1,000 per 100K and $1,250 per 150K, if the balance is above the starting balance plus $100.
  • LIVE accounts pay daily with no cap, at an 80% split.
  • You can hold only one LIVE account. Moving to LIVE through Fundamental or Premium ends your eligibility for new Fundamental and Premium evaluations.
  • ELITE LIVE needs 60 days live and a $125,000 balance (including payouts), and adds $25,000. MASTER LIVE needs 120 days and $250,000, and adds $50,000.

LIVE accounts on Tradovate or NinjaTrader pay CME data fees from the account, and other exchanges cost $156 a month each. Rithmic and dxFeed LIVE accounts have no data fees. In Canada, only Ontario residents can open LIVE accounts on Tradovate or NinjaTrader; other Canadians go LIVE through Dorman Trading on Rithmic.

The 10K Drawdown Challenge

This is a monthly trading contest, not a funded account. Entry is $30 with the code PHIDIAS (list $66), and you can enter as many times as you like until 5 days before the month ends. Each entry gets a $10,000 end-of-day trailing drawdown, up to 25 minis or 250 micros, and overnight and weekend holds. Traders are ranked daily by total profit, counting only your best account.

The top 10 split $24,000, from $12,000 for first place down to $540 for tenth, paid into the Phidias Wallet. The rest of the top 10% get a 50K one-time Fundamental account with no activation fee. Everyone else gets a 90% or 80% discount code. The 10K Challenge is the cheapest way to try Phidias’s platforms, but only ten people win cash each month.

Phidias trading platforms: Rithmic, Tradovate, DeepCharts and ATAS

You pick the platform route at checkout, and it affects commissions and later data fees.

Route Platforms you can use Notes
Rithmic R Trader Pro, Quantower, MotiveWave, ATAS, Sierra Chart, Bookmap, Jigsaw Desktop, Windows preferred; Phidias calls it best for scalpers
Tradovate Tradovate, TradingView, NinjaTrader Web, desktop, Mac, iOS and Android; built-in trade copier
DeepCharts (dxFeed) DeepCharts Web-based order flow platform with a copier and mobile app; no TradingView link

ATAS. Phidias’s help centre says traders can get a free 31-day ATAS licence through ATAS’s Phidias page. ATAS connects through the Rithmic route.

DeepCharts. DeepCharts runs in the browser on the dxFeed data feed and is one of two routes for Eurex products such as the DAX and Euro Stoxx 50 (Tradovate is the other). Phidias’s page lists it as a moderate learning curve.

Tradovate and TradingView. Phidias added Tradovate, which links natively to TradingView. Phidias says Tradovate accounts get real-time dashboard data, so passing and payout requests show up without waiting for the end of day.

Some Trustpilot reviewers describe trouble setting up Rithmic, connection drops and disputed fills during fast moves. Check Phidias’s connection guides before you buy, and see our prop firms that use Rithmic and prop firms that use Tradovate guides.

Commissions and market data fees

Phidias charges commissions per side, per contract, and the rate depends on your route. Some examples from the rules page:
