TL;DR: FTUK is a simulated prop trading firm that has sold forex accounts since 2021 and futures accounts since 2025. On October 11, 2026 its website sold four products: the Flex Challenge (start for $9, hit a 4% target, then pay a $56 to $1,200 activation fee), Instant Funding (no evaluation, $109 to $2,220 list, 30% off with the firm’s FTUK30 code), Flex Futures (start for $59 plus a $149 to $399 activation fee) and Instant Sim Funding for futures ($409 to $979 list, shown at 50% off). Forex accounts run on MetaTrader 5, TradeLocker and Match-Trader, with no stop-loss requirement and payouts on request once a 20% consistency score is met. The rules that matter most are not on the price card: an Account Protector that closes every trade when open losses reach 2% and terminates Flex and Instant accounts on the second trigger, a 30-second minimum trade time, and strict martingale and anti-scaling definitions. Trustpilot shows 3.8 from 785 reviews with 25% one-star, Prop Firm Match lists FTUK as unlisted with one warning, and recent complaints centre on denied payouts. Treat the fee as money you can lose and read the protector and martingale rules before you trade.
Research status: Checked October 11, 2026 against FTUK’s website, the rendered price and rule selectors on each product page, the checkout page (opened without buying), the FTUK Help Centre (69 articles), the terms of service and the About page. Trustpilot, Prop Firm Match, Reddit and the Google Play listing were read the same day. Prices were read from the firm’s public pages on that date and were not verified by purchase. Plans, codes, rules and country access change often, so recheck them at checkout.
FTUK review verdict
FTUK’s pitch is low entry cost and few headline rules. The Flex Challenge costs $9 to start, the profit target is 4%, there is no time limit, no stop-loss requirement, and news trading and weekend holding are allowed. Instant Funding skips the evaluation entirely, and both forex products let you request a payout whenever your consistency score is in range rather than on a fixed date.
The trade-off sits in the risk rules. Every forex account has an Account Protector: if open losses reach 2% of the starting balance, all trades are closed. On Flex Funded and Instant Funding accounts the second trigger ends the account, so the practical loss limit on open trades is 2%, not the 5% daily or 6% trailing drawdown on the price card. Add a 30-second minimum trade time, a martingale rule that flags any trade carrying 1.5 times the risk of the losing trade before it, and a ban on adding to a losing position, and FTUK becomes a firm for traders with small, steady risk per idea.
The payout record is mixed. Trustpilot shows a 3.8 TrustScore from 785 reviews, with 66% five-star and 25% one-star. Many recent five-star reviews describe Flex payouts arriving quickly; many recent one-star reviews describe payouts denied for martingale, IP or consistency reasons that the traders dispute. Prop Firm Match does not list FTUK and shows one warning. BestProps does not give FTUK a numeric score in this review. If you buy, keep the rules for your exact product, size each trade so a bad move cannot reach the 2% protector, and record everything around a payout request.
Is FTUK legit? Company, entities and track record
FTUK is a real, operating business with a working checkout, a large help centre, a Discord community and a published payout process, and it has been selling accounts since 2021. Whether it is the right place to buy an account is a separate question, covered in the payout and reputation sections. Here is who you deal with, as FTUK’s own pages describe it.
| Entity named by FTUK | Role, as FTUK describes it | Where it is stated |
|---|---|---|
| Nexdata-Solutions B.V. (Goeman Borgesiuslaan 77, 3515 ET Utrecht, the Netherlands) | Operating entity. The terms say FTUK Inc. “is a trading program operated by Nexdata-Solutions”. | Site footer; terms of service (issue date July 20, 2024) |
| FTUK Markets Ltd (Rodney Bay, Gros-Islet, Saint Lucia) | “The entity providing the simulated trading environment and related services.” | Site footer |
| FTUK Inc. | The brand. The help centre says it “was established in February 2021” and is “located and registered in Houston, Texas, USA”. It is also the developer name on the FTUK XT app. | Help article “Who are FTUK?”; Google Play listing |
The terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. FTUK says it is not a broker, a financial institution or a broker marketing platform, does not accept client deposits and does not carry out regulated activities. All accounts run in a simulated environment with no live market execution, so a payout is a performance reward under the contract, not a withdrawal of your own trading capital. The evaluation is not a regulated financial product.
FTUK’s About page sets out its history: Instant Funding from launch in 2021, a single-phase evaluation later that year, 10,000+ trading accounts in 2023, more than $1M paid out in 2024, futures and instant payouts in the second half of 2025, the $9 Flex Challenge in the first half of 2026, and the acquisition of another prop firm, TradingFunds, in the second half of 2026. The headline figures on the site ($12M+ rewarded, 30,000+ traders, a one-hour average payout time and “4.8/5 from 5K verified reviews”) are the firm’s own claims. BestProps could not check them, and the review figure does not match FTUK’s Trustpilot profile (3.8 from 785 reviews).
One search result worth explaining: an older Reddit thread says “FTUK has been dissolved on 5th Dec 2023”. The UK Companies House register does show a company called FTUK GROUP LTD dissolved on December 5, 2023, alongside several other unrelated UK companies with FTUK in the name. BestProps found nothing linking that company to the current prop firm, which names Dutch, Saint Lucian and US entities, and the firm has kept trading and paying since then.
FTUK account types compared
These are the four products in FTUK’s account selectors on October 11, 2026, read from the rendered pages and the matching help articles. One-Step and Two-Step forex accounts still have rule pages in the help centre but are not offered in any selector; see the older accounts section.
| Rule | Flex Challenge (forex) | Instant Funding (forex) | Flex Futures | Instant Sim Funding (futures) |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Evaluation | One step, 4% target | None | One step, 5% target | None |
| How you pay | $9 to start, activation fee after passing | One upfront fee | $59 to start, activation fee after passing | One upfront fee, no activation fee |
| Account sizes | $5K to $200K | $5K to $200K | $25K to $150K | $25K to $150K |
| Daily limit | 5% daily drawdown | 5% daily drawdown | None in evaluation; $500 to $3,000 daily loss limit once funded | $750 to $3,000 daily loss limit (locks the day) |
| Maximum drawdown | 6% trailing, locks at starting balance | 6% trailing, locks at starting balance | $1,000 to $4,000 end-of-day trailing | $1,000 to $5,250 end-of-day trailing |

| Platforms | MT5, TradeLocker, Match-Trader | MT5, TradeLocker, Match-Trader | WealthCharts (selector) | WealthCharts (selector), FTUK XT (help centre) |
The forex products share most of their risk rules. The real choice is between paying little upfront and a larger activation fee only if you pass (Flex), or paying more upfront to skip the evaluation and start with a 65% split instead of 60% (Instant). On futures, Flex Futures has the larger drawdown per dollar of fee and a 40% consistency rule, while Instant Sim Funding has no evaluation but a stricter 20% consistency rule plus payout buffers and caps.
FTUK pricing and current codes
Every FTUK product is a one-time fee. Prices below were read from the rendered price selectors on October 11, 2026, in US dollars. They were read from the firm’s public pages on that date and were not verified by purchase. The platform choice did not change the forex price.
Flex Challenge pricing
| Account size | Paid upfront | Activation fee after passing | Total if you pass and activate |
|---|---|---|---|
| $5,000 | $9 | $56 | $65 |
| $10,000 | $9 | $98 | $107 |
| $25,000 | $9 | $204 | $213 |
| $50,000 | $9 | $374 | $383 |
| $100,000 | $9 | $672 | $681 |
| $200,000 | $9 | $1,200 | $1,209 |
If you fail, you lose $9. The help centre says a Flex account can be reset at the funded stage for the same amount as the activation fee, and that the Flex Challenge has no add-ons.
Instant Funding pricing and the FTUK30 code
| Account size | List price | Price with FTUK30 (30% off, as shown on the site) |
|---|---|---|
| $5,000 | $109 | $76.30 |
| $10,000 | $179 | $125.30 |
| $25,000 | $349 | $244.30 |
| $50,000 | $649 | $454.30 |
| $100,000 | $1,199 | $839.30 |
| $200,000 | $2,220 | $1,554 |
The Instant Funding page labels the discounted figure “Your Price Today”, but the checkout page for a $10K account showed $179.00 before any code was entered, so the 30% comes from typing FTUK30 at checkout. The checkout also offers two paid add-ons for Instant Funding: a 20% Profit Boost (adds 20% on top of every payout, priced at +20% of the fee), Increased Drawdown (6% to 8% maximum drawdown, +20%), or both for +30%.
Futures pricing and the WEALTHCHARTS code
| Account size | Flex Futures start fee | Flex Futures activation fee | Instant Sim Funding list price | Instant Sim price shown “today” |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| $25,000 | $59 | $149 | $409 | $204.50 |
| $50,000 | $59 | $199 | $595 | $297.50 |
| $100,000 | $59 | $299 | $770 | $385 |
| $150,000 | $59 | $399 | $979 | $489.50 |
The futures pages carry a banner: “WealthCharts Is Now Live! Celebrate with 50% OFF All Futures Challenges – Code WEALTHCHARTS”. The Instant Sim “today” price matches that 50%. BestProps could not confirm without paying whether the code also reduces the $59 Flex Futures start fee or the activation fee, so budget for the full amounts shown.
Current FTUK codes and how FTUK publishes them
- FTUK30: 30% off. The site-wide banner reads “Get 30% OFF Instant Funding – Code FTUK30”, and a site pop-up says “New to FTUK? Get 30% off your first purchase.” No expiry date was shown on October 11, 2026.
- WEALTHCHARTS: 50% off “All Futures Challenges”, shown on the futures pages. No expiry date was shown.
The help centre says active codes appear in the homepage banner and on FTUK’s social channels, and asks traders to use only codes FTUK provides directly. Coupon sites list other FTUK codes; BestProps only reprints codes the firm itself publishes. The Flex Challenge’s $9 entry and activation fees did not change with FTUK30 on the site’s own price display.
What each forex account costs per $1,000 of drawdown
Dividing the total fee by the maximum drawdown in dollars shows how much loss room each dollar of fee buys. Flex totals include the $9 start fee and the activation fee; Instant prices include FTUK30.
| Size | Flex total | Flex fee per $1,000 of 6% drawdown | Instant with FTUK30 | Instant fee per $1,000 of 6% drawdown |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| $10,000 | $107 | $178.33 | $125.30 | $208.83 |
| $25,000 | $213 | $142.00 | $244.30 | $162.87 |
| $50,000 | $383 | $127.67 | $454.30 | $151.43 |
| $100,000 | $681 | $113.50 | $839.30 | $139.88 |
| $200,000 | $1,209 | $100.75 | $1,554 | $129.50 |
Flex is cheaper per dollar of drawdown at every size, and you only pay most of it after you have passed. The catch is the lower starting split (60% against 65%) and the evaluation itself. Because the 2% Account Protector is the tighter limit in practice, the usable loss room on any open position is smaller than these drawdown figures suggest.
FTUK Flex Challenge rules
The Flex Challenge is FTUK’s pay-after-you-pass forex account. The rules below come from the “New Flex Challenge Explained” help article and the Flex page, read October 11, 2026.
- Profit target: 4% in one step. The site-wide banner says “Pass Flex with Just 2% Profit”, but the Flex page, the rule tables and the help article all say 4%. Check the target shown on your own dashboard before trading.
- Time: no maximum time limit. The help article says one minimum trading day in the evaluation; the Flex page rule table says none.
- Daily drawdown: 5%, re-set every day at 10:00 PM UTC from the higher of equity or balance.
- Maximum drawdown: starts 6% below the initial balance and trails the highest closing balance. Once the floor reaches the initial balance it locks there and stops trailing.
- Account Protector: if combined open losses reach 2% of the starting balance, every open position is closed. The first violation is a soft breach, the second a hard breach.
- Leverage: 1:50 on forex in the evaluation, 1:30 once funded; 10:1 on metals and indices, 5:1 on non-metal commodities and 2:1 on crypto.
- No stop loss required, news trading and weekend holding allowed.
- Funded stage: no further profit target. Payouts are on request once your best day is no more than 20% of the profit you request.
Flex scaling levels, split and consistency
| Level | Consistency rule | Profit split |
|---|---|---|
| Level 1 | 20% | 60% |
| Level 2 | 20% | 65% |
| Level 3 | 30% | 70% |
| Level 4 | 30% | 75% |
| Level 5 | 40% | 80% |
| Level 6 | 40% | 90% |
You move up a level with each 10% of profit. There is a catch in how the split is paid: the level’s split applies only if you withdraw all the profit earned at that level in one request, and that request is 10% or more of the total profit at that level. Several smaller withdrawals are paid at the standard 60%. The Flex page advertises “Up to 80%” profit split, which matches Level 5 in this table, not the 90% the help centre gives for Level 6.
FTUK Instant Funding rules and scaling
Instant Funding is the account FTUK launched with. You start on a funded account with no evaluation, so every rule applies from the first trade. Rules from the “Instant Funding Program (FOREX)” article (dated June 29, 2026) and related help articles:
| Rule | Level 1 | Level 2 | Level 3 | Level 4 | Level 5 | Level 6 |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Level target to scale | 10% | 10% | 10% | 10% | 10% | 10% |
| Profit split | 65% | 70% | 75% | 80% | 85% | 90% |
| Consistency score (program table) | under 20% | under 20% | under 30% | under 30% | under 30% | under 40% |
| Daily drawdown | 5% | 5% | 5% | 5% | 5% | 5% |
| Maximum drawdown | 6% | 6% | 6% | 6% | 6% | 6% |
| Account Protector | -2% | -2% | -2% | -2% | -2% | -2% |
| Forex leverage | 30:1 | 30:1 | 30:1 | 30:1 | 30:1 | 30:1 |
- No minimum trading days, no profit target for payouts, and payouts on demand once your account is in profit, flat (no open or pending trades) and your consistency score is 20% or lower at Level 1.
- The 6% maximum drawdown is relative to your balance: it trails the highest balance and locks at the starting balance. FTUK’s own example on a $10K account: the floor starts at $9,400, moves to $9,650 at a $10,250 balance, and locks at $10,000 once the balance reaches $10,900.
- The daily drawdown is measured from the higher of closed balance or equity at 22:00 UTC.
- Partial closing is not allowed to carry over a day: if you reduce a position, the rest must be closed the same trading day.
- As with Flex, the level split is paid only when you withdraw the whole level’s profit in one request of 10% or more; smaller requests are paid at 65%.
- Stop losses are not required for accounts bought on or after February 20, 2025. Instant accounts bought before that date still need a stop loss within 60 seconds of every trade.
The two Instant-only add-ons change the numbers. Increased Drawdown raises the maximum drawdown from 6% to 8% but leaves the 5% daily limit. The Profit Boost adds 20% to each payout amount for the life of the account: a $500 payout becomes $600. Free add-ons given in promotions apply only to Level 1, and purchased add-ons do not apply to news trading.
FTUK futures: Flex Futures, Instant Sim Funding and FTUK XT
FTUK sells two futures products. Both are simulated, both pay a 90% split, and both close every position before the session ends.
Flex Futures
| Account size | Evaluation target (5%) | End-of-day drawdown | Funded daily loss limit | Evaluation max position | Funded starting position |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| $25,000 | $1,250 | $1,000 | $500 | 2 minis / 20 micros | 1 mini / 10 micros |
| $50,000 | $2,500 | $2,000 | $1,000 | 4 minis / 40 micros | 2 minis / 20 micros |
| $100,000 | $5,000 | $3,000 | $2,000 | 8 minis / 80 micros | 4 minis / 40 micros |
| $150,000 | $7,500 | $4,000 | $3,000 | 12 minis / 120 micros | 6 minis / 60 micros |
The evaluation has no daily loss limit and no consistency rule, and FTUK says it can be passed in one session. Once funded, a 40% consistency rule applies and you need five winning days before a payout. FTUK had not published a separate Flex Futures payout article on October 11, 2026, so the buffer and cap figures for Flex Futures are not published.
Instant Sim Funding
| Account size | Payout target (6%) | EOD drawdown | Daily loss limit | Min profit per winning day | Buffer left after payout | Max gross payout |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| $25,000 | $1,500 | $1,000 | $750 | $100 | $1,000 | $1,000 |
| $50,000 | $3,000 | $2,000 | $1,500 | $200 | $2,000 | $2,000 |
| $100,000 | $6,000 | $3,500 | $2,000 | $300 | $3,000 | $2,500 |
| $150,000 | $9,000 | $5,250 | $3,000 | $400 | $4,500 | $3,000 |
- The minimum gross payout is $500 at every size. You need the 6% payout target, five winning days (not necessarily consecutive), a consistency score of 20% or lower, the buffer left in the account after the request, and identity and payout review.
- From the second approved payout onward, new realised profit since the last payout must be at least 50% of the gross amount you request.
- The end-of-day drawdown follows the highest completed end-of-day balance, not intraday peaks. Touching it is a permanent breach. Hitting the daily loss limit only locks the account until the next trading day. Platform commissions count toward the daily loss limit.
- Position limits start at 2/4/8/12 minis and scale from your end-of-day balance; one mini counts as ten micros.
Futures trading rules and FTUK XT
Positions cannot be held overnight or over the weekend: the platform warns from 3:35 PM CT and closes open positions at 3:50 PM CT. Each trade must stay open at least 30 seconds. Manual news trading is allowed. Trading bots and expert advisors are not allowed on futures. You may copy from one verified external account you own into one registered Instant Sim account if you register the arrangement first; copying between FTUK accounts is banned.
FTUK XT is the firm’s own futures platform, published on Google Play by FTUK Inc (500+ downloads, last updated January 21, 2026). The help centre says FTUK XT is the platform shown for Instant Sim Funding; on October 11, 2026 the futures selectors on the website showed WealthCharts, with a “WealthCharts Is Now Live!” banner. Check the platform listed at checkout for the account you buy.
Account Protector and the rules that end accounts
Most FTUK complaints trace back to rules that are not on the price card. These are the ones that close trades or end accounts, as published on October 11, 2026.
| Rule | What it means in practice | Consequence |
|---|---|---|
| Account Protector (policy effective January 27, 2026) | Open losses below -2% of the starting balance close all such trades. It also closes trades when exposure on a single instrument passes 2%. $200 on a $10K account, $1,000 on $50K. | Flex Funded and Instant: second trigger ends the account. One-Step and Two-Step: fourth trigger ends it. |
| 30-second minimum trade time | Every trade must stay open 30 seconds, including trades closed by a stop loss or take profit. | Violation; may be treated as high-frequency trading |
| Martingale: increasing risk after a loss | Risk is measured from stop distance and lot size. A trade carrying 1.5 times or more the risk of the losing trade before it is flagged. Trades risking 0.1% or less are ignored. With no stop loss, the realised loss is used as the risk. | Prohibited strategy; account review, possible closure |
| Anti-scaling | Opening another trade in the same instrument and direction while the first is losing, at any lot size. Adding to winners is allowed. | Prohibited strategy |
| Other banned strategies | Tick scalping, reverse, latency and hedge arbitrage, grid trading, high-frequency trading, and strategies that exploit demo conditions. | Account closure |
| Partial closing | If you reduce a position, the rest must close the same trading day. Entries on the same instrument within 30 minutes count as one position. | Consistency score reset; repeat violations can breach |
| Copy trading | Allowed from your own external accounts. Not allowed between FTUK accounts, and the same trades across FTUK accounts are a violation. | Violation |
| Inactivity | Place and close a trade at least every 30 days. Breaks of 30 to 90 days can be arranged with support in advance. | Hard breach |
| IP addresses | A fixed VPS or VPN is allowed. Trading from many IP addresses in different countries, or hiding your IP, is not. | Account termination |
The martingale rule deserves a close read because it is behaviour-based. FTUK says it flags the pattern “regardless of the instrument, direction, or the time between two trades”, and that it will show you the flagged trades and let you explain before a decision. A trader who varies position size by setup quality can trip it without meaning to. If your sizing changes trade to trade, keep risk per trade flat or ask support in writing how your method is judged.
FTUK payouts, methods and timing
- When: Flex Funded, Instant Funding and both futures products have no fixed payout dates. You can request as soon as the account meets its requirements. FTUK notes that “instant payouts” means you can request immediately, not that settlement is immediate.
- How: from the trader dashboard. Close all trades first; the account is view-only while the request is pending.
- Methods: payouts above $500 go in US dollars through Rise (RiseWorks), which can send to a bank account or crypto wallet. Payouts below $500 go in USDT on TRC-20 or USDC on ERC-20. FTUK does not pay by bank transfer, Skrill or PayPal. If Rise does not serve your country, FTUK says it can send USDT (TRC-20) manually.
- Timing: approval usually takes 24 to 48 working hours after the accounts team reviews the account, and funds arrive in one to three working days depending on the method. The homepage’s “1 hour” average payout time is the firm’s own figure.
- Review: some payouts are approved automatically and others are reviewed. FTUK says each payout cycle is assessed on its own, a previous approval does not mean your strategy is compliant, and it may ask any trader for an interview at random.
- Currency: all accounts are in US dollars; your bank or payout provider handles conversion.
- Free accounts: accounts won in giveaways or competitions are capped at $500 of payouts a month.
Read the consistency formula before you trade, because it decides when you can be paid. FTUK divides your biggest winning day since the stage began by your current total closed profit (as of the 10 PM UTC rollover). The score resets after a payout or a level change and cannot be reset manually. Breaking the partial-close rule also resets it.
Worked examples: cost, drawdown, consistency and first payout
Flex Challenge, $10,000 account
- Cost: $9 to start. If you pass, $98 to activate. Total $107.
- Target: 4% = $400, so you pass at $10,400.
- Daily drawdown: 5% = $500 from the day’s higher of balance or equity.
- Trailing drawdown: the floor starts at $9,400 and follows your highest closing balance. At a $10,300 high it sits at $9,700; once your highest close reaches $10,600 the floor reaches $10,000 and locks there.
- Account Protector: combined open loss may never reach $200. Two trades each $110 in the red at the same moment trigger it, even if your stops are further away.
- First payout at Level 1: say you make $1,000 over five days with a best day of $180. $180 / $1,000 = 18%, which is under 20%, so you can request. At 60% you receive $600 before any payout fees.
Instant Funding, $50,000 account
- Cost: $649 list, $454.30 with FTUK30.
- Floor: $47,000 at the start, trailing your highest balance, locking at $50,000 once the balance reaches $53,000.
- Protector: open losses must stay under $1,000 (2%).
- Payout: a $2,000 profit with a best day of $500 is a 25% score, so you are not yet eligible at Level 1. Keep trading until total closed profit reaches $2,500 (so $500 is 20%), or until your other days lower the share.
- Scaling: 10% = $5,000 of profit moves you to Level 2 (70% split), provided the consistency score is in range.
Instant Sim Funding (futures), $50,000 account: the first payout
- Cost: $595 list, $297.50 as shown with the futures offer.
- You need $3,000 of profit (the 6% payout target), five winning days of at least $200 each, and a best day no larger than 20% of total closed profit.
- The $2,000 buffer must remain after the request. To withdraw the $500 minimum, your balance must be at least $52,500. At $53,000 (the target) you could request up to $1,000 and keep the buffer.
- The cap is $2,000 gross per payout. A $1,000 gross request pays $900 at the 90% split.
- For the second payout, you need new realised profit of at least half the gross amount: $500 of n
