TL;DR: AquaFunded offers Forex evaluation routes with one, two, or three steps, instant funding models, and a separately marketed futures route. Its official 1 Step Standard guide lists a 9% target, 3% daily drawdown, 6% trailing maximum drawdown, three qualifying trading days with at least one-half of one percent closed profit on each day, and a standard 90% funded profit split. Standard rewards become eligible every 14 days, the minimum request is $100, and the firm lists a 24 business hour processing guarantee for approved rewards. MatchTrader, TradeLocker, MetaTrader 5, and cTrader are listed. Pricing is controlled by a dynamic checkout with changing promotions and add-ons, so verify the exact market, model, size, fee, refund condition, and upgrade total before paying.

AquaFunded review verdict
AquaFunded gives traders many program choices, but the names matter. The official Forex help collection currently includes Standard and Pro instant funding, Standard and Pro one-step models, three two-step variants, a three-step model, Pay After Pass, TryAqua, and AquaMan. The homepage also promotes a futures route. Rules from one model should not be carried into another.
The clearest reference point is 1 Step Standard because its official guide puts the target, drawdown, qualifying days, split, payout cycle, and leverage in one place. Its main tradeoff is the 6% trailing maximum drawdown. A single evaluation phase is simpler than a two-step path, but a moving loss floor can be less forgiving than a static maximum drawdown.

AquaFunded's live homepage uses an interactive selector rather than a single price table. It also displayed a limited-time promotion during this review. That makes a copied headline fee incomplete unless the selected market, model, account size, discount code, refund condition, and paid upgrades are preserved with it.
Treat checkout as the controlling price source. Record the normal fee and discounted fee separately, then add any upgrade for a 100% split or earlier first payout. Confirm whether the challenge fee is refundable and what event triggers the refund for the exact order.
AquaFunded rules and drawdown
The official 1 Step Standard guide lists a 9% evaluation target and at least three qualifying trading days. A day counts only if closed profit reaches one-half of one percent of the initial balance. Reaching the target sooner does not remove that requirement.
The same guide sets daily drawdown at 3% of the initial balance. At the 00:00 UTC reset, AquaFunded uses the higher of balance or equity and subtracts that fixed 3% amount to set the next daily floor. Open equity, commissions, swaps, and closed losses therefore need to be monitored together.
Maximum drawdown is 6% and trailing. The guide describes it as following the highest recorded balance or equity. That is materially different from a static floor. Traders should confirm whether the trail locks, how it behaves after withdrawals, and which dashboard value controls before placing a first trade.
AquaFunded payouts and funded rules
AquaFunded's official reward pages state a standard 90% profit split, with a checkout add-on for 100%. The standard first reward request becomes available 14 days after the first funded-account trade. After an approved withdrawal, the next cycle starts from the first new trade placed after that withdrawal.
The account must be above its initial balance, all trades and pending orders must be closed, and the minimum request is $100. The firm says approved rewards are processed within 24 business hours and advertises a $1,000 addition when an approved payment misses that window. Eligibility review and payment processing are separate events.
Payments below $5,000 are described as crypto payments. Requests of $1,000 or more may use Rise for bank transfer or crypto, with the official article listing a $35 Rise processing fee. Accounts of $200,000 or more have a $10,000 cap on each of the first two rewards. Save the current reward article because fees, rails, caps, and non-business days can change.
AquaFunded funded risk controls
The official Wave Stop article applies a 2% open-loss control to funded accounts other than instant funding. It says the system normally closes all open trades when combined open loss reaches 2% of account balance. A first trigger can reduce the split to 50%, while a second trigger can breach the account.
AquaFunded also applies model-specific consistency rules. Its current article lists 20% for Instant Funding Standard, 15% for Instant Funding Pro and AquaMan, and 25% on the funded stages of One Step Pro and Two Step Pro. These percentages are payout eligibility tests, not universal rules for every AquaFunded account. Verify the exact model rather than assuming the 1 Step Standard terms apply across the menu.
AquaFunded platforms and country access
The official platform article lists MatchTrader, TradeLocker, MetaTrader 5, and cTrader. An evaluation account with a clear trading history may request a platform change for the next phase, but the help center says a change is unavailable after trades have been placed on the account. Confirm platform access before checkout if an EA, charting workflow, or device setup depends on one platform.
The current restricted-country article lists Cuba, Iran, Syria, Vietnam, Kenya, Albania, Algeria, North Korea, Senegal, Myanmar, Russia, Belarus, Sudan, South Sudan, Venezuela, Crimea, Donetsk, and Luhansk. It also limits traders in Thailand, Brazil, Bulgaria, Japan, Jordan, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, and the Philippines to instant funding models with a $50,000 funded maximum per trader. Residence, nationality, sanctions screening, KYC, and platform providers can produce additional checks.
Who AquaFunded may fit
- Traders who want to compare instant, one-step, two-step, and three-step structures.
- Buyers who understand how a trailing maximum drawdown changes available risk after profits.
- Traders who want MatchTrader, TradeLocker, MT5, or cTrader and have confirmed model access.
- Traders comfortable tracking funded-stage controls beyond the headline daily and maximum loss limits.
Who should compare AquaFunded alternatives
- Buyers who want one simple ruleset across every program.
- Traders who prefer a static maximum drawdown instead of the reviewed one-step trailing rule.
- Strategies that may repeatedly trigger the funded Wave Stop open-loss threshold.
- Traders whose country is restricted or limited to a specific instant funding scope.
AquaFunded BestProps assessment
AquaFunded's broad menu is useful only when the comparison stays model-specific. For 1 Step Standard, the decision turns on whether a 9% target, three qualifying days, 3% daily loss calculation, and 6% trailing maximum drawdown fit the trader's tested risk plan. The standard 90% split is attractive on paper, but payout eligibility, processing rails, funded risk controls, and paid add-ons determine the practical result.
Put the exact order on one page before paying. Include market, model, account size, platform, normal fee, promotion, add-ons, target, qualifying-day definition, daily reset, maximum drawdown behavior, funded controls, split, reward cycle, cap, country result, and refund terms.
