TL;DR: FunderPro Futures is the CME futures program of FunderPro, run by FunderPro Ltd in Malta (the CFD and forex program on funderpro.com is a separate product). Since June 15, 2026 it sells three monthly-subscription challenges: Beginner ($79, $149 or $219 a month for $50K, $100K or $150K, no activation fee, flat 80% split), Mid-Level ($89, $149 or $229 a month, $129 activation fee, split rising from 80% to 90%) and Professional ($219, $329 or $449 a month, $119 activation fee, up to $10,000 per payout every 14 days). Every challenge has a 6% profit target, no time limit, no minimum days, a 40% best-day consistency rule and an end-of-day trailing drawdown of 4% on $50K or 3% on larger accounts that stops trailing at the starting balance. Funded accounts add a 2% daily pause that stops trading for the day instead of failing the account, a 50% consistency rule and per-type payout caps. Platforms are the browser WebTrader, DeepCharts, DeepMap, Quantower and ATAS (Mac users get WebTrader only). Rewards are paid through Rise or in USDC. US traders are accepted; 20 countries, including Russia, Iran, Venezuela and Yemen, are not. The futures Trustpilot page shows 4.1 from only 17 reviews, at least 14 of them posted on one day, so the public record is thin.
Research status: Checked October 11, 2026 against the FunderPro Futures home page (all three tier tabs), the How It Works page, the checkout product selector for Beginner, Mid and Professional, the Terms and Conditions, the Gold Offer terms, and 63 articles in the FunderPro Futures help centre, including the June 2026 product-change notice, the three tier guides, the fees article, the rules summary and the reward rules. Prices were read from FunderPro Futures’ public pages on that date and were not verified by purchase. Reviews were read on Trustpilot, Reddit and PropFirmMatch on the same date.
FunderPro Futures review verdict
FunderPro Futures is built around two ideas that make the challenge forgiving: a daily loss limit that pauses the account until the next session instead of failing it, and an end-of-day trailing drawdown that stops moving once it reaches the starting balance. There is no deadline and no minimum number of trading days, and the Beginner challenge has no activation fee and no daily pause at all during the evaluation. On a $50K Beginner, a trader who passes inside the first month has spent $79.
The trade-off sits in the funded stage and in the payout caps. Every funded account carries a 2% daily pause and a 50% consistency rule. Beginner rewards are capped at 2% of the account per request ($1,000 on $50K). Mid-Level caps start at 3% and grow with each payout. Professional allows $10,000 per request but only every 14 days, after a 3% profit buffer, and its subscription costs more than twice as much as Beginner at $50K. Commissions are charged per side on every contract, and the free market data covers CME only.
The firm’s own documents also disagree in places. Older help articles and parts of the website still describe the pre-June 2026 product (60%/70%/80% split, 45% consistency, a $129 activation fee “for every account”), and the rules summary says positions may be held overnight while the home page and older articles say they are flattened every day. We list every conflict below. BestProps does not give FunderPro Futures a numeric score. If you buy, read the tier guide for the exact challenge type you choose, because the three types differ on activation fee, news trading, payout caps and payout timing.
Is FunderPro Futures legit? Company, model and track record
FunderPro Futures is a real, identifiable business that publishes its fees, rules and company details. “Legit” here means it sells what it describes; it does not mean every payout request will be approved, which depends on the rules below. All trading is simulated, in the challenge and on the funded account, and rewards are paid from FunderPro’s own funds under a separate Funded Trader Agreement.
| Fact | What FunderPro Futures publishes | Where it is stated |
|---|---|---|
| Operator | FunderPro Ltd, registration number C 104558, Cali House, Level 3, Vjal ir-Riħan, San Gwann SGN 9020, Malta | Footer of every funderprofutures.com page |
| Relationship to FunderPro | The futures arm of FunderPro. FunderPro has run its CFD and forex prop program since 2023; the futures site describes itself as an expansion into futures | About Us |
| Founder | Owen Morton describes himself as co-founder of FunderPro and of the TradeLocker platform, and lists FunderPro Futures among his companies | Owen Morton’s project page |
| Regulation | Not regulated. The firm states that as a prop firm it does not fall under regulators’ scope, that it is not a broker and does not accept deposits | Is FunderPro Futures regulated?, site footer |
| Account model | Challenge and funded accounts are both simulated. The firm may copy funded-account trades into the live market in its own name, but the trader never gets live-market access | Do I trade with real funds?, Terms clause 11.7 |
| Pass rate it discloses | “Only 10.14% of traders who purchase a challenge successfully pass to the funded phase” | Site footer |
| Support | 24/7 live chat, email support, a help centre and a Discord server | Contact Us |
| Age and identity checks | 18 or older. Identity verification (selfie plus a valid government ID) happens after you pass, before the funded contract is offered | Identity verification, age requirements |
Two things to keep separate when you read reviews. First, most public feedback about “FunderPro” concerns the CFD program on funderpro.com, which uses different platforms (TradeLocker, cTrader and MT5), a balance-based drawdown and different payout rules. Second, the futures product changed completely on June 15, 2026, so reviews and guides written before that date describe rules that no longer apply to new purchases.
Account types: Beginner vs Mid-Level vs Professional
All three types share the same profit target, drawdown, contract limits and challenge consistency rule. They differ in what happens after you pass: the activation fee, how your share grows, how much you can withdraw at once, how often, and whether news trading is allowed on the funded account.
| Feature | Beginner | Mid-Level | Professional |
|---|---|---|---|
| Account sizes | $50K, $100K, $150K | $50K, $100K, $150K (help centre also lists $200K) | $50K, $100K, $150K (help centre also lists $200K) |
| Monthly fee at $50K / $100K / $150K | $79 / $149 / $219 | $89 / $149 / $229 | $219 / $329 / $449 |
| Activation fee after passing | $0 | $129 | $119 |
| Daily pause in the challenge | None | Not applied during the evaluation (rules summary) | Not applied during the evaluation (rules summary) |
| Daily pause on the funded account | 2% of account size | 2% of account size | 2%, expandable up to 25% of your profit buffer |
| Profit share | 80% flat | 80% on the 1st reward, 85% on the 2nd, 90% from the 3rd | 80% flat |
| Smallest reward request | 0.5% of account size | $200 | 3% of account size (the buffer target) |
| Largest reward request | 2% of account size | 3% rising to 7% ($50K) or 5% ($100K and up) | $10,000 |
| When you can request | After 5 profitable days of $100 or more | After 5 profitable days of $200 or more | Every 14 calendar days, no profitable-day count |
| News trading on the funded account | Restricted 2 minutes before and after high-impact news | Allowed | Allowed |
In short: Beginner is the cheapest route to a funded account but has the smallest withdrawals and the only funded news restriction. Mid-Level costs $129 more once you pass and pays a higher share and larger caps the longer you keep the account. Professional costs the most every month and is built for traders who expect to bank several thousand dollars every two weeks.
FunderPro Futures pricing, activation fees, resets and refunds
Every challenge is a monthly subscription. You are billed on the same calendar day each month (at 05:00 CET) until you pass or cancel, and there is no time limit. If you fail and do not cancel, the next billing gives you a new account. Once you are funded, the monthly fee stops; the funded account has no recurring fee apart from optional market-data upgrades.
| Size | Beginner monthly | Mid-Level monthly | Professional monthly | Beginner reset | Mid-Level reset | Professional reset |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| $50K | $79 | $89 | $219 | $69 | $79 | $189 |
| $100K | $149 | $149 | $329 | $129 | $129 | $279 |
| $150K | $219 | $229 | $449 | $189 | $199 | $379 |
| $200K (help centre only) | Not offered | $339 | $559 | Not offered | $289 | $469 |
Prices as read from the FunderPro Futures home page, checkout selector and the help-centre article “All Fees and Costs Explained” on October 11, 2026; not verified by purchase. The checkout showed only $50K, $100K and $150K for every type on that date.
Activation fee
The activation fee is charged once, when you pass and activate the funded account: $0 on Beginner, $129 on Mid-Level and $119 on Professional. It applies to each funded account you activate. Note that an older help article, “How does the Activation Fee work?”, still says the fee is $129 for every account and cannot be discounted; the tier guides and the checkout show the current per-type fees.
Resets
A reset gives you a fresh challenge balance immediately after a breach instead of waiting for the next billing date. It does not move your billing date: if you subscribed on the 20th and reset on the 27th, you are still billed on the 20th of the next month. The help centre suggests skipping a reset when your next billing date is only a few days away, because the renewal gives you a new account anyway.
Discounts and promotions
We found no discount code published on funderprofutures.com, its checkout or its help centre on October 11, 2026. The only dated promotion on the site is the Gold Offer, which started on November 26, 2025 for a limited time: traders who had traded at least 1 lot of gold with FunderPro were offered free gold data and no activation fee, through an emailed link and with no code. The June 2026 change notice also mentions a past “$0 activation promotion” on the old product. Coupon sites may list other codes; BestProps only prints offers the firm itself publishes. The terms say discounts cannot be combined unless the firm says otherwise.
Refunds and cancellations
- You can request a refund within 14 days of an initial purchase only if the account is unused (no trades or other actions).
- If a renewal gives you a new account you did not want, you have 72 hours to request a refund, again only if it is unused.
- Cancelling stops future billing; the account stays active until the end of the paid month, and passing in that time still qualifies you for a funded account. A cancellation cannot be reversed.
- The challenge fee is not credited back after you pass.
- Card payments renew automatically. Crypto payments do not: you must extend the challenge manually each month from the dashboard or lose the account.
Challenge rules
| Rule | $50K | $100K | $150K | $200K (Mid-Level and Professional) |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Profit target (6%) | $3,000 | $6,000 | $9,000 | $12,000 |
| Maximum drawdown, end-of-day trailing | $2,000 (4%) | $3,000 (3%) | $4,500 (3%) | $6,000 (3%) |
| Maximum contracts (standard / micro) | 5 / 50 | 10 / 100 | 15 / 150 | 20 / 200 |
| Consistency (best day as share of total profit) | 40% on every type | |||
| Daily pause | None during the evaluation | |||
| Minimum trading days | None | |||
| Time limit | None; 30-day subscription renews until you pass or cancel | |||
How the drawdown works. The drawdown level is recalculated once a day from your end-of-day balance at 16:00 CT, not from intraday equity peaks. It only moves up, and it stops moving when it reaches your starting balance. If equity touches the level at any moment, positions are closed and the account fails. On a $100K account the level starts at $97,000; an end-of-day balance of $102,000 lifts it to $99,000; a later close at $104,000 would lift it to $101,000, so it freezes at $100,000 instead.
How the 40% consistency rule works. No single day may account for more than 40% of your total profit in the challenge. The rule is checked when you hit the target: the rules summary lists “violating the consistency rule at the time of passing the profit target” as a breach, while older help text says the excess is simply added to your target. Either way, a big day means you have to keep trading until it falls under 40%.
Contract sizing. One standard (mini) contract counts as 10 micros, and you can mix them, for example 2 ES and 30 MES on a $50K.
Funded account rules, daily pause and scaling
After you pass, FunderPro’s trade team reviews the account, you complete identity checks and sign the Funded Trader Agreement, and you pay the activation fee for your type. The funded account has no profit target and no monthly fee, but these rules apply:
- Daily pause: 2% of the account size ($1,000 on $50K, $2,000 on $100K, $3,000 on $150K). If losses reach it, open positions are closed and trading is frozen until 16:05 CT the next trading day. It does not fail the account. The limit is recalculated at 16:00 CT and counts floating profit and loss. On Professional the limit can grow to as much as 25% of your accumulated profit buffer.
- Maximum drawdown: the same end-of-day trailing amount as the challenge. After your first reward it locks at the starting balance.
- Consistency: no single day above 50% of total profit, on every type.
- Inactivity: 30 consecutive days without trading ends a funded account. Challenges have no inactivity rule because they are billed monthly.
- Accounts: up to 5 funded accounts at once, and as many challenges as you like. Extra passed challenges wait in a queue and activate automatically when a funded account is breached or removed.
Funded scaling plan
Funded accounts start below the challenge contract limit and unlock more contracts as profit grows. The tier is set each day by your realised profit at the 16:00 CT close.
| Profit on the funded account | $50K | $100K | $150K | $200K |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| $0 to $2,499 | 2 / 20 | 3 / 30 | 4 / 40 | 5 / 50 |
| $2,500 to $4,999 | 3 / 30 | 4 / 40 | 5 / 50 | 6 / 60 |
| $5,000 and above | 5 / 50 | 7 / 70 | 9 / 90 | 11 standard (the guide prints “11 / 100”) |
Standard / micro contracts, from the Beginner, Mid-Level and Professional guides. A practical consequence: on a new $50K funded account you can trade only 2 ES or 20 MES, less than half of the 5 contracts you passed with, until you have $2,500 of profit.
Rules that apply to every account
| Topic | Rule as published |
|---|---|
| Weekend holding | Not allowed. Positions left open into the Friday 16:00 CT close are flattened automatically, in the challenge and on funded accounts. Holding through market holidays is also not permitted. |
| Overnight holding | The July 2026 rules summary says overnight holding is allowed. The home page and older help articles say trading is disabled 15 minutes before the 16:00 CT close and open positions are force-closed at 15:45 CT every day. Ask support before you plan to hold overnight. |
| News trading | Allowed in every evaluation and on Mid-Level and Professional funded accounts. On Beginner funded accounts you cannot open or close a trade from 2 minutes before to 2 minutes after a high-impact release; positions opened earlier may stay open. The Terms still state the 2-minute rule for everyone. |
| EAs and bots | Allowed if they do not exploit the system and follow the rules. Third-party EAs built for tick scalping, rollover scalping or high-frequency trading are banned, and you must own the source code of any third-party EA. |
| Copy trading | Allowed between your own challenge and funded accounts. Copying other traders, or trades between different clients, is not. |
| Hedging | Holding opposite positions in different accounts, alone or with others, is prohibited. |
| Margin per trade idea | Using more than 30% of available margin on one trade idea, or a group of correlated trades, may be treated as excessive risk (Terms clause 13.13). The same clause warns against concentrating risk in a single instrument or market. |
| Lot-size consistency | Sudden jumps in size without a clear basis, such as 1 lot followed by 10 lots, may be treated as gambling (clause 13.15). |
| Scalping and martingale | Both allowed, within the drawdown and consistency limits. High-frequency trading systems and arbitrage of any kind are prohibited. |
| VPN and VPS | Allowed, except connections from Belarus, Cuba, Iraq, Iran, North Korea, Sudan, Russia and Syria. |
| Forex pairs | Not available; only currency futures such as 6E or M6E. Spot forex is on FunderPro’s CFD program. |
FunderPro Futures payouts
FunderPro calls payouts “rewards”. The rules depend on your challenge type.
| Reward rule | Beginner | Mid-Level | Professional |
|---|---|---|---|
| Share | 80% from the first reward | 80%, then 85%, then 90% from the 3rd | 80% |
| Eligibility | 5 profitable days of at least $100 (need not be consecutive) | 5 profitable days of at least $200 | 3% buffer above the starting balance, then a 14-day cycle |
| Minimum request | $250 / $500 / $750 (0.5%) | $200 | $1,500 / $3,000 / $4,500 / $6,000 (3%) |
| Maximum request | $1,000 / $2,000 / $3,000 (2%) | Grows per payout, see below | $10,000 |
| Funded consistency | 50% | 50% | 50% |
Mid-Level maximum request by payout number
| Reward | $50K | $100K | $150K | $200K |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1st | $1,500 (3%) | $3,000 (3%) | $4,500 (3%) | $6,000 (3%) |
| 2nd | $1,750 (3.5%) | $3,500 (3.5%) | $5,250 (3.5%) | $7,000 (3.5%) |
| 3rd | $2,000 (4%) | $4,000 (4%) | $6,000 (4%) | $8,000 (4%) |
| 4th | $2,500 (5%) | $4,500 (4.5%) | $6,750 (4.5%) | $9,000 (4.5%) |
| 5th and later | $3,500 (7%) | $5,000 (5%) | $7,500 (5%) | $10,000 (5%) |
If you ask for more than your cap, the dashboard limits the request to the maximum.
How to request, payment methods and timing
- Log in to the FunderPro Futures dashboard and open Rewards.
- Check that you meet the profitable-day count (or the 14-day cycle on Professional), the minimum amount and the 50% consistency rule.
- Submit an amount between your minimum and maximum.
Rewards are paid through Rise (riseworks.io) or in USDC to your own wallet, and USDC payouts go only over the Ethereum (ERC-20) network; a BEP-20 address will fail. The help centre says rewards are “typically paid within 24 hours on business days” with an average processing time of 8 hours, and the How It Works page says requests are processed the same day. These are the firm’s statements, not a timing BestProps has tested.
Payout proof
FunderPro gives each funded trader a certificate for every funded account and every reward, which traders share publicly. Treat individual certificates as anecdotes: they show that some payouts were made, not how often requests are refused.
Worked examples: cost, drawdown, consistency and payouts
1. What it costs to get funded
| Scenario | Beginner | Mid-Level | Professional |
|---|---|---|---|
| $50K, pass in month 1 | $79 | $89 + $129 = $218 | $219 + $119 = $338 |
| $50K, pass in month 2 after one reset | $79 + $69 + $79 = $227 | $89 + $79 + $89 + $129 = $386 | $219 + $189 + $219 + $119 = $746 |
| $100K, pass in month 1 | $149 | $149 + $129 = $278 | $329 + $119 = $448 |
| $150K, pass in month 1 | $219 | $229 + $129 = $358 | $449 + $119 = $568 |
Commissions, any market-data upgrades and the cost of failed attempts come on top.
2. Passing with one big day ($50K, 40% rule)
The target is $3,000. If your best day is $1,500, that day is 50% of $3,000, so you have not passed yet. You need total profit of at least $1,500 / 0.40 = $3,750 before the best day falls to 40%. Keeping your best day at or below $1,200 (40% of $3,000) lets you pass exactly at the target.
3. A Beginner payout ($50K)
After 5 days with at least $100 profit each and $1,800 in total profit, your best day was $700. That is 39% of total profit, inside the 50% funded rule. You can request between $250 and $1,000. At an 80% share, a $1,000 request pays $800. After this first reward, the maximum drawdown locks at $50,000, so the account has $800 of room left above the floor ($50,800 balance after the $1,000 is deducted).
4. The withdrawal trap after the drawdown locks ($100K)
The help centre warns about this case. Your floor is locked at $100,000 and your balance is $104,000. If you withdraw all $4,000 of profit, the balance sits exactly on the floor, and the commission on your next trade ($3.80 for one ES round trip) is enough to fail the account. Leave a cushion large enough for at least one normal losing day.
5. The Mid-Level ladder ($100K)
If the share is applied to the amount requested, the maximum on each of the first five payouts works out to $3,000 at 80% = $2,400, then $3,500 at 85% = $2,975, $4,000 at 90% = $3,600, $4,500 at 90% = $4,050 and $5,000 at 90% = $4,500. Five maximum payouts would pay the trader $17,525 in total. On a $100K Beginner, five maximum requests of $2,000 at 80% would pay $8,000, so the $129 activation fee pays for itself on the first Mid-Level payout if you trade large enough to reach the caps.
6. The Professional buffer and 14-day cycle ($100K)
You must first reach $103,000 (a $3,000 buffer). On day 14 your balance is $108,000, so you can request any amount from the $3,000 minimum up to the $8,000 of profit (the $10,000 cap does not bind yet). At 80%, a $5,000 request pays $4,000 and leaves a $103,000 balance. The help centre does not say whether the 3% buffer must stay in the account after a request, but the drawdown floor locks at $100,000 after the first reward, so withdrawing all $8,000 would leave no room at all. The next request is possible 14 calendar days later. The help centre does not publish the exact formula for the expandable daily limit; on our reading, with $12,000 of profit the limit could grow to $3,000 (25% of $12,000) instead of the base $2,000. Confirm the live figure in your dashboard.
7. Commissions over a month
At $1.90 per side, one ES round trip costs $3.80, and 5 round trips a day over 20 trading days cost $380. The same exposure in micros (10 MES at $0.62 per side) costs $12.40 per round trip, or $1,240 a month at the same pace. On a funded $50K that starts at 2 ES or 20 MES, that difference can decide whether you reach the $100 or $200 daily profit that counts toward a reward.

FunderPro Futures restricted countries
Traders from the United States are accepted. As of the help-centre list dated March 30, 2026, FunderPro Futures does not work with traders based in these 20 countries:
- Afghanistan, Belarus, Central African Republic, Cuba, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Haiti, Iran, Iraq, Libya, Mali
- Myanmar, North Korea, Republic of the Congo, Russia, Somalia, South Sudan, Sudan, Syria, Venezuela, Yemen
Separately, connections through a VPN or VPS that originate in Belarus, Cuba, Iraq, Iran, North Korea, Sudan, Russia or Syria are not allowed. The help article says the Terms and Conditions hold the full, up-to-date list, but the Terms we read on October 11, 2026 contain no country list, only a clause that service can be refused to residents of a prohibited jurisdiction or to people under international sanctions. Your name and address must match your ID, because identity checks happen only after you pass. Compare other firms on the BestProps restricted-countries directory.
