TL;DR: Blue Guardian Futures is the futures side of Blue Guardian, the prop firm run through Blue Guardian Limited (Saint Lucia) and Iconic Exchange FZCO (Dubai). On October 11, 2026 it sold four futures models in $25K, $50K, $100K and $150K sizes: a one-phase Standard evaluation (from $116 with the firm’s BG25 code), a customisable Reserve evaluation (from $48), an Express evaluation with daily payouts (from $65) and Direct, an instant funded account with no evaluation (from $262.50). Every model has a one-time fee, no activation fee, a 90% profit split, an end-of-day trailing drawdown that locks $100 above the starting balance, and a hard flat-by-4:10 PM ET rule, so there is no overnight or weekend holding. Payouts are capped per request ($600 a day up to $4,500 a request, depending on model and size) and a 3% processing fee applies. Trustpilot shows 3.7 from 1,812 reviews on the futures profile, with fast payouts praised and payout denials after compliance reviews the main complaint. Platforms are Tradovate, NinjaTrader, TradingView and Deepcharts; ProjectX is no longer offered.

Research status: Checked October 11, 2026 against Blue Guardian’s futures product page (the rendered price and rule selector for every model, size and option), all 21 articles in the Blue Guardian Futures Help Center, the Terms and Conditions and Refund Policy, Trustpilot and Reddit. Prices were read from the firm’s public pages on that date and were not verified by purchase. Blue Guardian changes prices and rules often, and its help articles disagree with the product page in places (listed in the source conflicts section), so recheck the checkout before paying.

Blue Guardian Futures review verdict

Blue Guardian Futures is a low-entry futures prop program with an unusually wide menu. With the firm’s BG25 code a $50K evaluation costs between $84 (Reserve with a daily loss limit) and $157 (Standard), there is no activation fee after you pass and no monthly subscription, and every evaluation is a single phase with a 6% profit target and no time limit. News trading is allowed on evaluation and funded accounts, and the drawdown is end-of-day trailing everywhere, which is easier to live with than an intraday trailing limit.

The trade-offs sit in the payout design and in enforcement. Every funded model caps what you can take per request ($1,000 to $4,500 depending on model and size, or $600 to $2,500 a day on Express), Reserve only lets you withdraw half of your profit per request, and the firm’s payout policy deducts a 3% processing fee. Behind the caps sits a long list of conduct rules that are applied at payout review: a 5:1 maximum risk-to-reward ratio, a microscalping limit, no fully automated trading, no trading within 2% of a CME price limit, copy trading only between your own accounts, and payout reviews that, according to some traders, include an interview. Most of the serious complaints we read, on Trustpilot and Reddit, are about payouts denied at that review stage rather than about slow processing.

Blue Guardian Futures can make sense for a disciplined discretionary trader who wants cheap, flexible evaluations and is willing to read four separate rule sets. It is a poor fit for anyone who trades through the 4:10 PM ET close, runs a fully automated strategy, scalps in seconds, or needs certainty that a large first payout will be approved. Treat the fee as money you can lose, and read the payout section for your exact model before you buy.

Point What we found on October 11, 2026
Strengths Cheap one-phase evaluations, no activation or monthly fee, end-of-day drawdown on every model, news trading allowed, daily payouts on Express, an instant Direct account, a published live-account path with a cash buyout option, and a refund of unused evaluations if you are promoted to live.
Weaknesses Per-request payout caps, a 3% payout processing fee, Reserve withdrawals limited to 50% of profit, strict conduct rules judged at payout review, no overnight holding, no fully automated trading, no refunds after credentials are sent, and help articles that contradict the product page on several numbers.
Reputation Trustpilot 3.7 from 1,812 reviews (26% one-star), the company replies to 96% of negative reviews. The most serious complaints describe payouts denied after interviews or copy-trading findings.
Best-fit trader A US or international day trader who closes positions every day, trades by hand on NinjaTrader, Tradovate, TradingView or Deepcharts, and wants a low entry price.

Is Blue Guardian Futures legit? Company and account model

“Legit” here means a functioning company that sells what it describes and publishes its rules. It does not mean your fee is safe or that every payout request will be approved; those questions are covered in the payout and reputation sections. Blue Guardian Futures is not a separate company. It is a product line of Blue Guardian, which sells forex and CFD challenges on blueguardian.com and futures accounts on blueguardian.com/futures (the old blueguardianfutures.com address now redirects there). This is who the website footer names.

Entity named by Blue Guardian Role, as Blue Guardian describes it
Blue Guardian Limited (The Sotheby Building, Rodney Bay, Gros-Islet, Saint Lucia) Provides the trading platforms for simulated trading.
Iconic Exchange FZCO (IFZA Business Park, DDP, Dubai, UAE) Provides the educational products and payment processing. The Refund Policy is issued by “ICONIC EXCHANGE FZCO t/a BLUE GUARDIAN”.
Blue Guardian Marketing LLC (Icon Tower, Barsha Heights, Dubai, UAE) Listed as a related entity for “non-operational support and administrative offices”.

The Terms and Conditions are governed by the law of the United Arab Emirates, with disputes going to the courts in Dubai, and you must be at least 18. Blue Guardian says it “is not a broker, does not take client deposits, does not hold or manage real client funds”. Evaluation, Standard, Reserve, Express and Direct accounts are all simulated: you do not trade real contracts, and a payout is a payment under the program contract. Only the live account, covered below, uses real CME execution through a partner brokerage.

Blue Guardian does not publish a founding year on the pages we read, and third-party sites disagree. Archived copies of blueguardianfutures.com show a “Coming Soon” page in October 2024, and the futures Trustpilot profile was claimed in November 2024, so the futures program has been selling for roughly two years. The current four-model lineup replaced the older Standard, Rapid, Pro and Instant Standard plans in July 2026; accounts bought before July 6 keep the legacy rules.

Two practical points before you pay. First, the Refund Policy says that once “the evaluation credentials have been emailed to the customer, no refunds under any circumstances will be accepted”, and a chargeback lets Blue Guardian suspend your accounts and recover payouts already made. Second, the card or payment method must belong to the account holder: the name on the account, the cardholder name and the billing address must match, and third-party payment methods are refused.

Blue Guardian Futures account types compared

All four models come in $25K, $50K, $100K and $150K sizes, pay a 90% profit split, use an end-of-day trailing drawdown and charge a one-time fee. They differ in how you qualify and, more importantly, in how you get paid. The figures below are the $50K versions as rendered on the product page on October 11, 2026; the full tables by size follow in each model’s section.

$50K account Standard Reserve Express Direct
Price with BG25 (list) $157 ($209) $84 to $146 depending on options ($112 list for the base option) $98 or $113 ($130 list for the base option) $339 ($452)
Evaluation One phase, $3,000 target One phase, $3,000 target One phase, $3,000 target None (instant funding)
Evaluation consistency None 40% or 50% (your choice) 40% or 50% (your choice) Not applicable
Daily loss limit $1,000 (soft breach) $1,200 or none (your choice) $1,000 (soft breach) $1,250 (soft breach)
Max drawdown (EOD trailing) $2,000 $2,000 $2,000 $2,000
Funded consistency 40% per payout cycle None None 20%, then 25%, then 30%
Payout gate Balance above $52,100 buffer; first request 3 days after first trade 5 winning days of $150+; no buffer Balance above $52,100 buffer; minimum $500 $3,000 profit goal for the first payout, $2,000 after
Payout cap $2,500 first, $3,000 after 50% of profit, up to $2,000 $1,100 a day $2,000 (payouts 1-3), $2,500 after
Payout frequency Each cycle once eligible On demand once eligible Daily On demand once eligible
Contracts 4 minis / 40 micros, fixed 4 / 40 on evaluation; funded starts at 2 / 20 and scales 4 / 40 on evaluation; funded starts at 2 / 20 and scales 4 / 40, fixed

In short: Standard has the highest payout caps and no evaluation consistency rule but the highest evaluation price. Reserve is the cheapest and has no funded consistency rule or buffer, but you can only withdraw half your profit each time. Express pays every day in small amounts. Direct skips the evaluation for roughly two to four times the evaluation price and then applies the strictest payout consistency.

Blue Guardian Futures pricing, codes, resets and reactivation

Prices by model and size

The product page applied the BG25 code (25% off) to every price on October 11, 2026, and showed the list price struck through. These are one-time fees, not monthly subscriptions. Read from the firm’s public page on October 11, 2026; not verified by purchase.

Model and option $25K $50K $100K $150K
Standard $116 ($154) $157 ($209) $248 ($330) $318 ($424)
Reserve, daily loss limit, 40% consistency $48 ($64) $84 ($112) $111 ($148) $222 ($296)
Reserve, daily loss limit, 50% consistency $54 $96 $138 $261
Reserve, no daily loss limit, 40% consistency $72 $126 $180 $294
Reserve, no daily loss limit, 50% consistency $84 $146 $213 $345
Express, 40% consistency $65 ($86) $98 ($130) $154 ($205) $240 ($320)
Express, 50% consistency $74 $113 $177 $276
Direct (instant funding) $262.50 ($350) $339 ($452) $449 ($598.67) $539 ($718.67)

The Reserve and Express options trade price for flexibility. On Reserve, keeping the daily loss limit is the “lower-priced” option and removing it costs about a third to 60% more, depending on size. On both models the 40% consistency option is cheaper and labelled a “3 Day Pass”, while the 50% option is labelled a “2 Day Pass”, because a looser consistency rule lets you reach the target in fewer days (see the worked examples).

Current Blue Guardian Futures code and bundle discounts

The only code Blue Guardian itself published on October 11, 2026 was BG25, shown in the site-wide banner as “25% OFF all accounts | CFDs & Futures” and already applied in the price selector. No expiry date was shown. A pop-up also offered “25% Off Your First Order” in exchange for an email address. Coupon sites list other codes for Blue Guardian Futures that BestProps could not confirm with the firm, so we do not reprint them.

Blue Guardian also discounts multi-account orders. Its help article on bundle pricing gives these tiers, applied to every account in the same order:

Accounts in one order Discount per account (help article)
1 25% off
2 30% off
3 35% off
4 40% off
5 40% off plus the 5th account free, except Reserve

The live selector labels the 5-account tier differently (“100% Off” on Standard and “50% Off” on Reserve, Express and Direct), so check the basket total before paying. Remember that Blue Guardian allows only five funded accounts at a time, so a 5-account bundle uses your whole funded allocation if all five pass.

Reset and reactivation fees

A reset restarts a breached evaluation without buying a new account. A reactivation returns a breached funded account to funded status without a new evaluation, but only if it breached before its first payout, at most twice per account, within 30 calendar days of the breach. Standard and Express reset fees are fixed and “remain unchanged regardless of any active promotions or discount codes”.

Fee $25K $50K $100K $150K
Standard reset $104 $141 $223 $286
Express reset $72 $121 $191 $261
Reserve reset 10% less than the discounted price you paid for that account
Standard funded reactivation $450 $750 $900 $1,200
Express funded reactivation $180 $330 $450 $750
Reserve funded reactivation Available on the same conditions; the fee is not published in the help article

One useful comparison: at current prices a Standard $50K reset ($141) costs almost as much as a new Standard $50K account ($157), while an Express $25K reset ($72) costs more than a new Express $25K account ($65). Check the new-account price before you pay for a reset.

Other costs: commissions, data and payout fees

  • Commissions: the instrument list shows a “total cost per side”, for example $2.88 on ES and NQ, $0.80 on MES, $0.95 on MNQ, $2.12 on CL and $2.17 on GC. A round turn costs twice that.
  • Market data on Deepcharts: CME Level 1 is included. CBOT, COMEX and NYMEX Level 1 together cost $5, and Level 2 costs $12.10 per exchange or $36.50 for all CME Group exchanges.
  • Payout processing: the payout policy says “All payouts are subject to a 3% processing fee”, so the amount received can be lower than the payout certificate.
  • Refunds: none once credentials are emailed. The one published exception is the live-account promotion, where unused evaluations with more than 50% of their drawdown left are refunded.

Standard account rules

Standard is the structured model: fixed contract limits from evaluation to funded, no consistency rule on the evaluation, a 40% consistency rule on funded payouts, and the highest payout caps of the four models. Blue Guardian says you can pass “in as little as one trading day”.

Standard $25K $50K $100K $150K
Profit target (6%) $1,500 $3,000 $6,000 $9,000
Max position (evaluation and funded) 1 mini / 10 micros 4 / 40 8 / 80 12 / 120
Daily loss limit (soft breach) None $1,000 $2,000 $3,000
Max drawdown (EOD trailing) $1,000 $2,000 $3,500 $5,000
Drawdown locks at $25,100 $50,100 $100,100 $150,100
Evaluation consistency None
Funded consistency Best day must be under 40% of profit in the payout cycle
Funded buffer (withdraw only above) $26,600 $52,100 $103,600 $155,100
1st payout cap $1,500 $2,500 $3,000 $4,000
2nd and later payout cap $2,000 $3,000 $3,500 $4,500
Payout timing 3 days after placing the first funded trade, then each cycle once eligible

The daily loss limit is 2% of the starting balance and is a soft breach: open trades are closed, the account is disabled for the rest of the day and comes back the next trading day. The $25K Standard account has no daily loss limit at all, only the $1,000 maximum drawdown. Breaking the funded consistency rule does not breach the account either; the payout button simply stays unavailable until more profit brings your best day under 40%. Blue Guardian’s own example: a $2,000 best day needs at least $5,000 of total profit.

Reserve account rules

Reserve is the build-your-own model, and the cheapest. At checkout you choose whether to keep a daily loss limit and whether the evaluation uses a 40% or 50% consistency rule. Once funded there is no consistency rule and no buffer, but every request is limited to half of your profit.

Reserve $25K $50K $100K $150K
Profit target (6%) $1,500 $3,000 $6,000 $9,000
Max position on evaluation 2 minis / 20 micros 4 / 40 8 / 80 12 / 120
Starting funded position (scales up) 1 / 10 2 / 20 3 / 30 3 / 30
Daily loss limit (default option, soft breach) $600 $1,200 $1,700 $3,000
Daily loss limit (no-DLL option) None
Max drawdown (EOD trailing) $1,000 $2,000 $3,000 $4,500
Evaluation consistency 40%, or 50% with a 1% cushion (best day up to 51%)
Funded consistency and buffer None and none
Payout gate 5 winning days, not necessarily consecutive, reset after each payout
Minimum winning day $100 $150 $200 $250
Net profit needed for payouts 2 to 5 $500 $750 $1,000 $1,250
Cap per request 50% of profit, up to $1,000 50%, up to $2,000 50%, up to $2,500 50%, up to $3,000

The net-profit requirement for payouts 2 to 5 applies to Reserve accounts bought on or after July 27, 2026; older Reserve accounts keep their original rules. Net profit counts losses too: on a $50K account, $900 of winning days and a $300 losing day give $600 of net profit, which is short of the $750 needed. Funded Reserve contract limits start low and step up as your end-of-day balance grows (see the scaling table below).

Express account rules

Express is the cash-flow model: once funded you can request a payout every day, up to a fixed daily cap. To make that work Blue Guardian keeps a buffer, sets a minimum payout and, for accounts bought on or after September 2, makes you earn new profit equal to 50% of your last payout before the next one.

Express $25K $50K $100K $150K
Profit target (6%) $1,500 $3,000 $6,000 $9,000
Max position on evaluation 1 mini / 10 micros 4 / 40 8 / 80 12 / 120
Starting funded position (scales up) 1 / 10 2 / 20 3 / 30 3 / 30
Evaluation daily loss limit (product page) None $1,000 $1,500 $2,250
Funded daily loss limit (soft breach) $500 $1,000 $1,250 $1,750
Evaluation max drawdown (product page) $1,000 $2,000 $3,000 $4,500
Funded max drawdown (EOD trailing) $1,000 $2,000 $2,500 $3,500
Evaluation consistency 40% or 50% (your choice at checkout)
Funded consistency None
Funded buffer (withdraw only above) $26,100 $52,100 $102,600 $153,600
Minimum payout $250 $500 $1,000 $1,500
Maximum daily payout $600 $1,100 $1,500 $2,500

The Express help article lists slightly different evaluation loss limits ($1,250 and $1,750 for the $100K and $150K evaluations); the product page figures above are the ones shown at checkout. The Express rule changes dated September 2 apply only to accounts bought on or after that date; older Express accounts keep the limits in force when they were bought.

Direct account: Blue Guardian Futures instant funding

Direct is Blue Guardian’s instant funding product. There is no evaluation and no profit target: you buy the account, sign the trader agreement and trade a funded account from day one. The price is higher and the payout rules are stricter than on the evaluation models.

Direct $25K $50K $100K $150K
Price with BG25 (list) $262.50 ($350) $339 ($452) $449 ($598.67) $539 ($718.67)
Max position (fixed) 1 mini / 10 micros 4 / 40 8 / 80 12 / 120
Daily loss limit (soft breach) $1,000 $1,250 $2,500 $3,000
Max drawdown (EOD trailing) $1,500 $2,000 $3,500 $4,500
Profit goal before the 1st payout $1,500 $3,000 $6,000 $9,000
Profit goal before each later payout $1,000 $2,000 $3,500 $4,500
Consistency Best day under 20% of cycle profit (1st payout), 25% (2nd), 30% (3rd and later)
Cap, payouts 1 to 3 $1,000 $2,000 $2,500 $3,000
Cap, payout 4 and later $1,000 $2,500 $3,000 $3,500
Buffer None

Two details matter. The daily loss limit applies to Direct accounts bought on or after July 21, 2026; earlier Direct accounts have none, and $50K accounts bought between July 21 and 26 have a $1,500 limit. And because there is no buffer, a payout can leave you close to the floor: the drawdown locks at the starting balance plus $100 after any payout, so withdrawing most of your profit leaves only a few hundred dollars of room (worked example below).

The 20% first-payout consistency rule is the strictest on the menu. To clear it on a $50K account you need the $3,000 profit goal with no single day reaching $600, which means at least six profitable days of similar size.

Rules that apply to every account

End-of-day trailing drawdown

The maximum loss limit moves up only when you set a new highest end-of-day closing balance. It ignores unrealised intraday profit and never moves down after a losing day. Once it reaches the starting balance plus $100 it stops trailing and stays there. After any payout it also locks at the starting balance plus $100. It is still checked against your live balance and equity during the day, so an intraday dip through the limit breaches the account even though the limit itself only moves at the close.

Trading hours, overnight and weekend holding

Trading runs from 6:00 PM to 4:10 PM Eastern time (5:00 PM to 3:10 PM Central). All open trades are closed automatically at 4:10 PM ET; Blue Guardian says this “does not count as a rule violation”. In practice that means no overnight holding and no weekend holding on Blue Guardian Futures, even though the firm’s CFD product settings list both as allowed.

What is allowed

  • News trading on evaluation and funded accounts (not on the live account).
  • Scalping, as long as less than 50% of your profit comes from trades held under 10 seconds.
  • Copy trading and third-party copiers between accounts you own, including your own external accounts.
  • Semi-automated trading, if you actively monitor and manage it.
  • Trading without a hard stop loss (mental stops are allowed), within the risk-to-reward rule below.

What is prohibited

  • AI, bots and fully automated, hands-off trading on every account type, and automated scalping above 200 trades a day.
  • Copying another trader, a signal service or a group, or letting anyone else trade your account.
  • Hedging, including opposite positions across your own accounts or with other traders.
  • Martingale and other size-up-after-loss recovery methods, and “all-in” or inconsistent sizing.
  • Risk above 5:1: your stop may be at most five times your target (a $100 target allows at most a $500 stop).
  • Trading within 2% of a CME daily price limit.
  • Stacking limit orders at one price to game fills, exploiting gaps, illiquid fills or the lack of slippage in the simulator.
  • Using a virtual machine, remote desktop or proxy for identity verification.

Breaches and inactivity

Daily loss limit breaches are soft: the account is disabled until the next trading day. Maximum drawdown breaches and rule violations end the account. Accounts also breach for inactivity: at least one trade every 30 calendar days on an evaluation and every 7 calendar days on a funded account. Passed evaluations are reviewed before funding, and Blue Guardian says traders found in breach “will not be funded and may be ineligible for refunds”.

Blue Guardian Futures payouts

Every funded model pays a 90% profit split through Rise or crypto, and Blue Guardian says payout requests are processed within 24 business hours once all conditions are met. The site’s marketing goes further (“Approved payouts are processed in 1 hour on average”), but the help center commitment is 24 business hours.
