TL;DR: EdgeProp Trading (edgeproptrading.com) is a futures prop firm run by EdgeProp Trading S.R.L. in Bucharest, Romania. It sells three one-step evaluations, EdgeCore, EdgeOne and EdgeX, in five sizes from $50K to $200K. None of them has a daily loss limit. The programs differ in how the trailing drawdown moves and in the funded rules. EdgeCore trails intraday, including open profit. EdgeOne trails at end of day and has a 40% consistency rule. EdgeX trails at end of day with no consistency rule. On October 11, 2026, list prices ran from $150 to $788, and the site’s TRADE60 banner code cut them by 60%: $60 for a 50K EdgeCore and $315 for a 200K EdgeX. Funded accounts pay 100% of your first $5,000 in total payouts, then 90%. Payouts go through Rise, start at $500 and are capped at $2,500 to $3,500 for the first five requests. Trading is intraday only, closing by 3:10 PM CT, and you must be flat around major news. The weak points are a short track record, first-party pages that disagree on the activation fee, the reset fee, billing and minimum days, and a thin Trustpilot record: 16 reviews, 3.7 stars. EdgeProp is not Equity Edge, Traders With Edge or the Singapore property site EdgeProp.sg.

Research status: On October 11, 2026 we checked this review against EdgeProp’s own pages: the homepage plan cards (all three programs), the futures rules, platforms and symbols pages, How It Works, the payouts page, the restricted countries page, the terms and conditions, the funded trader agreement and all 36 help centre articles. We read Trustpilot, searched Reddit and checked the Bookmap partner page the same day. We did not buy an account. Anything that only shows at checkout or inside the dashboard is printed as EdgeProp publishes it, not tested.

EdgeProp review verdict: is EdgeProp legit?

EdgeProp Trading is a real, operating futures prop firm. It names a Romanian company with a trade registry number and a Bucharest address, publishes a long rulebook, runs a help centre and a Discord server, and sells evaluations through a working site. Bookmap lists it as a partner firm. Some Trustpilot reviewers say they have been paid.

The product has some clear strengths:

  • No daily loss limit on any program. The trailing drawdown is the only hard loss line in the evaluation.
  • A one-step evaluation: hit the target and the minimum days, then move to a funded (PA) account.
  • You keep 100% of your first $5,000 in total payouts, then 90%.
  • EdgeX drops the consistency rule and the funded contract scaling plan.
  • One platform licence is included, from a list that includes Bookmap, ATAS, Jigsaw Daytradr and WealthCharts.
  • A large discount was live on October 11, 2026: 60% off with the TRADE60 code shown on the plan cards.

The weak points matter just as much:

  • The firm is young. Its trade registry number is a 2025 registration, and its own pages give 2023 and 2024 as start dates.
  • EdgeProp’s own pages disagree on the activation fee ($60 to $125), the reset fee ($60 or $80), whether the evaluation is a one-time fee or a 30-day subscription, and whether the minimum is 5 or 7 trading days.
  • Funded accounts carry several rules that can block a payout: the Safety Net, half-size scaling, a 30% per-trade MAE limit, the 40% consistency rule (EdgeCore and EdgeOne) and a mandatory audit before every payout.
  • Payouts are capped at $2,500 ($3,500 on 150K and 200K) for the first five requests.
  • The public review record is thin: 16 Trustpilot reviews and no Reddit discussion we could find.

So is EdgeProp legit? It is a registered business with published rules, and we found no evidence that it takes fees and never pays. What we cannot confirm is a long payout record, because there is not much public history yet. The firm’s own figures of “2400+ traders” and “450K+ rewards to traders in 2026” are not independently checked. Start small, read the rules for the exact program you buy, and keep a copy of the checkout page and the agreement you sign.

EdgeProp is not Equity Edge, Traders With Edge or EdgeProp.sg

Several businesses use similar names, and people searching for one often land on another. Check the domain before you read a review or pay.

Name Domain What it is
EdgeProp Trading (this review) edgeproptrading.com Futures prop firm, EdgeProp Trading S.R.L., Bucharest, Romania
Equity Edge equityedge.io A separate forex and CFD prop firm (Equity Edge Ltd, Saint Lucia) with its own Trustpilot page
Traders With Edge separate brand A different prop firm name that appears on prop firm directories; not connected to EdgeProp in any source we read
EdgeProp.sg edgeprop.sg A Singapore property portal for buyers, renters and property agents

If you searched for an Equity Edge prop firm review, whether Equity Edge is legit or Equity Edge Trustpilot reviews, that is a different company. None of the prices, rules or ratings on this page apply to it. The same goes for EdgeProp agent package prices: those are property-listing packages sold by the Singapore portal, not trading accounts.

Who runs EdgeProp Trading

The funded trader agreement names EdgeProp Trading S.R.L. at 10 Ing. Zablovschi Street, Sector 1, 011313 Bucharest, Romania. The site footer gives Trade Registry No. J2025014346001, and the help centre adds tax ID 51366724. The terms are governed by Romanian law.

The footer also names two US-style companies, “EdgePropTrader, LLC” for the simulated programs and “EdgeProp LLC” for live funded trading, and calls them wholly owned subsidiaries. It does not say where they are registered. LinkedIn lists the company as founded in 2024 with headquarters in Chicago and 2 to 10 employees. The Bookmap partner page says it was founded in 2024 and is based in Romania. The homepage says “3 Years, Since 2023”. These dates do not line up, and the trade registry number points to a 2025 Romanian registration.

EdgeProp says it is not a broker, futures commission merchant or investment firm, does not take client deposits, and runs evaluation and funded accounts in a simulated environment. It is not regulated as a broker, and it does not claim to be.

Support is by email (support@edgeproptrading.com), WhatsApp and a US phone number (+1 302 694 2896), and live chat Monday to Friday, 07:00 to 20:00 CET.

How EdgeProp works: evaluation, PA account and live

EdgeProp has three stages:

  1. Evaluation. Reach the profit target without touching the trailing drawdown, over the minimum number of trading days. There is no time limit and no daily loss limit. Consistency and scaling rules do not apply yet.
  2. PA (Performance Account). After passing, the account is marked “Ready for Funding”. You sign the funding agreement, pass KYC (ID and selfie) and pay the activation fee. The PA account is simulated on live data, but payouts are real money. The Safety Net, scaling, MAE and consistency rules apply here.
  3. Live. After about five compliant payouts, EdgeProp may mirror your PA trades to a live account through an API. This is discretionary. The How It Works page says five payouts can qualify you for “up to $10,000 in live capital”, and that progression is not guaranteed.

The program you buy is permanent for that account. You cannot switch an EdgeCore account to EdgeOne later, and you cannot change the size after purchase.

Pros and cons

Pros Cons
No daily loss limit on any program Trailing drawdown on every program; EdgeCore trails open profit in real time
One-step evaluation with no time limit First-party pages disagree on fees, billing and minimum days
100% of the first $5,000 in payouts, then 90% First five payouts capped at $2,500 or $3,500 each
EdgeX has no consistency rule and no funded scaling EdgeX costs about 75% more than EdgeCore at every size
Platform licence included (Bookmap, ATAS, Jigsaw, WealthCharts and others) Only one licence per account; Level 2 data costs extra
Large live discount (60% off on October 11, 2026) Intraday only; no overnight or weekend holds
Published commission table for every main contract 30% per-trade MAE limit and a mandatory audit before each payout
US traders accepted 87 countries and territories restricted across EdgeProp’s two lists

EdgeCore vs EdgeOne vs EdgeX

All three programs use the same targets, drawdowns and contract limits for each size. What changes is the drawdown method and the funded rules.

Feature EdgeCore EdgeOne EdgeX
Evaluation stages One One One
Trailing drawdown Intraday (follows equity highs, including open profit) End of day End of day
Daily loss limit None None None
Funded consistency rule 40% 40% None
Funded contract scaling Applies (half size until Safety Net) Applies Does not apply
Profit split 100% of first $5,000, then 90% Same Same
List price range $150 to $450 $173 to $518 $263 to $788
Account size Profit target Trailing drawdown Max contracts (standard / micro) Funded Safety Net
$50,000 $3,000 $2,500 10 / 100 $52,600
$75,000 $4,500 $3,000 12 / 120 $78,100
$100,000 $6,000 $3,500 15 / 150 $103,600
$150,000 $9,000 $4,500 20 / 200 $154,600
$200,000 $12,000 $6,000 25 / 250 $206,100

The contract limit covers all open positions combined, and one standard contract counts as ten micros. On a 50K account, 6 ES plus 4 NQ (10 contracts) is allowed, but 6 ES plus 6 NQ is not. One older help article lists 11 contracts on the 75K and 20 on the 200K. The plan cards, the rules page and the newer comparison article all say 12 and 25.

Which to pick. EdgeCore is the cheapest, but an open trade that runs into profit and then reverses can already have raised your floor. EdgeOne fixes that by trailing at end of day, for about 15% more. EdgeX costs about 75% more than EdgeCore and suits traders whose profit comes from a few big days, which the 40% consistency rule would otherwise hold back.

EdgeProp pricing and the TRADE60 code

These are the list prices on EdgeProp’s plan cards on October 11, 2026, with the discounted price the cards showed with the code TRADE60 (60% off). The homepage banner also read “EdgeX • 60% Off”. No end date was published for the offer.

Size EdgeCore list EdgeCore with TRADE60 EdgeOne list EdgeOne with TRADE60 EdgeX list EdgeX with TRADE60
$50K $150 $60 $173 $69 $263 $105
$75K $180 $72 $207 $83 $315 $126
$100K $250 $100 $288 $115 $438 $175
$150K $350 $140 $402 $161 $613 $245
$200K $450 $180 $518 $207 $788 $315

The code changes often. The server-rendered copy of the same homepage, fetched the same morning, still showed an older EDGX40 code at 40% off ($90 for a 50K EdgeCore). Whatever code the live plan card shows when you buy is the one to test at checkout. Coupon sites list other EdgeProp codes that we could not confirm with the firm, so we do not print them.

How much is a $100,000 EdgeProp account? At list price, $250 (EdgeCore), $288 (EdgeOne) or $438 (EdgeX). With the 60% code on October 11, 2026, it was $100, $115 or $175 before the activation fee.

Activation fee, reset fee and billing

EdgeProp’s pages give different figures for the fees you pay beyond the evaluation. These are all first-party sources, read on October 11, 2026:

Fee What EdgeProp’s pages say
Activation fee (one-time, non-refundable, paid when you pass) $60 / $75 / $90 / $105 / $120 by size (help article dated July 22, 2026, the newest); $90 (July 7, 2026 article); $80 (March 2026 article); $110 (refund policy article); $120 and a flat $125 (two tables in the terms)
Reset fee (restart a breached evaluation) $60 (evaluation rules article) or $80 (terms)
Billing model “One-time payment”, “no monthly subscription” (help centre); evaluation “subscriptions are automatically renewed every thirty (30) calendar days” (terms), and the funded trader agreement’s table is headed “Monthly Fee”
Level 2 market data $12 per exchange or $40 for the full CME bundle, per month, billed at month end

The newest help article (July 22, 2026) describes a one-time evaluation fee and size-based activation fees from $60 to $120, so that is the most current statement. But the terms you accept still describe a 30-day auto-renewing subscription. Before you pay, look at the checkout for the words “one-time” or a renewal date, and check your dashboard’s invoices section after purchase.

What it costs to reach a funded account

Here are worked examples using the October 11, 2026 card prices with TRADE60 and the newest activation-fee table. The figure in brackets uses the highest activation fee EdgeProp publishes anywhere ($125).

Path Evaluation Activation fee Total to funded
50K EdgeCore, pass first time $60 $60 $120 ($185)
50K EdgeOne, pass first time $69 $60 $129 ($194)
50K EdgeOne, one reset at $80 $69 + $80 $60 $209 ($274)
100K EdgeX, pass first time $175 $90 $265 ($300)
200K EdgeX, pass first time $315 $120 $435 ($440)

Add Level 2 data if you need depth of market ($40 a month for the CME bundle), and commissions, which come out of your account balance on every trade. If the evaluation renews every 30 days as the terms say, each extra month adds another fee.

A reset can cost more than a new discounted account. With TRADE60 a fresh 50K EdgeCore was $60, less than either published reset fee. Check both prices before you reset. The BestProps reset cost calculator helps you compare.

Trailing drawdown and the Safety Net

Every EdgeProp account has a trailing drawdown: threshold = highest equity minus the drawdown distance. If equity reaches or falls below it, the account fails. The difference between programs is when the threshold moves.

EdgeCore (intraday). The threshold follows your equity high in real time, including open profit. Example on a 50K account: the threshold starts at $47,500. A trade runs to +$1,000 open profit, then you close it flat. Your threshold has already moved to $48,500, so your room is now $1,500, not $2,500.

EdgeOne and EdgeX (end of day). The threshold is recalculated once, from your end-of-day balance. The same trade during the day does not move it. If you end the day at $51,000, the threshold for the next session becomes $48,500. You still cannot touch the active threshold during the day.

Safety Net (funded accounts). In the PA account, the trailing threshold stops for good once your peak equity reaches the Safety Net: starting balance + drawdown + $100. On a 50K account that is $52,600. From then on the floor stays at that level. Realised profit alone does not lock it. Your peak equity has to touch the Safety Net. The Safety Net is also the line your balance must stay above after every withdrawal.

Use the BestProps drawdown calculator to model the threshold, and read trailing drawdown rules explained for how this compares across firms.

The 40% consistency rule, with worked numbers

EdgeCore and EdgeOne funded accounts have a 40% consistency rule. When you request a payout, your best single day since the last payout must be no more than 40% of your total profit for that period. EdgeX has no consistency rule, and it does not apply in any evaluation.

The quick check: minimum total profit = best day ÷ 0.40.

Best day since last payout Minimum total profit to request
$800 $2,000
$1,000 $2,500
$1,500 $3,750
$2,000 $5,000
$3,000 $7,500

Example: your best day was $1,500 and your total is $3,200. That is 47%, so you are not eligible yet. You need to reach $3,750 in total. The count resets after every approved payout. The BestProps consistency rule calculator runs the same check for any numbers.

Contract scaling and the 30% MAE rule

Scaling (EdgeCore and EdgeOne funded). You start at about half size. Full size unlocks from the next session after your peak equity reaches the Safety Net, and stays unlocked even if the balance later drops.

Account Before Safety Net After Safety Net
50K 5 10
75K 6 12
100K 7 15
150K 10 20
200K 12 25

Oversizing is treated as a hard breach. A first offence means closing the extra contracts at once, a possible payout denial, a reset to the prior end-of-day balance, and extra compliant days before the next payout. The help centre says 5 days and the agreement says 8. Repeat offences can close the account.

MAE (maximum adverse excursion). On funded accounts, any single open trade’s floating loss cannot exceed 30% of your start-of-day profit cushion. With little or no cushion, the base is the trailing drawdown amount instead. The limit rises to 50% from the next session once end-of-day profit reaches twice the Safety Net buffer.

Account Max loss per trade, no cushion (30% of drawdown) After the 50% upgrade
50K $750 $1,250
75K $900 $1,500
100K $1,050 $1,750
150K $1,350 $2,250
200K $1,800 $3,000

With a $4,000 cushion on a 50K account, the limit per trade is $1,200. Each open trade is judged on its own, and the worst point counts, not the exit. A trade that hits -$1,100 against a $900 limit and then closes green is still a violation. In practice: an ES contract moves $50 per point, so a $750 limit allows about a 15-point stop on 1 ES, or 3 points on 5 ES, before slippage.

Hours, news, scalping, hedging, bots and copy trading

  • Intraday only. Close everything by 3:10 PM CT. Automatic liquidation starts at 3:08 PM CT. No overnight or weekend positions. Trading reopens Sunday at 5:00 PM CT. Grains and livestock have their own shorter sessions.
  • News. Be flat from 5 minutes before to 2 minutes after high-impact releases such as NFP, CPI, FOMC, GDP, jobless claims, retail sales, core PCE and ISM. Example: CPI at 7:30 AM CT means no open position from 7:25 to 7:32. In an evaluation, holding through the window disqualifies the account. In a funded account, it can trigger an audit and suspension.
  • Microscalping. Accounts are reviewed if more than 50% of profit comes from trades held 5 seconds or less. Profits from that activity can be removed. Normal scalping is allowed.
  • Hedging. You cannot hold opposite positions in the same or correlated contracts across accounts (long NQ in one account and short NQ or short ES in another). Micros and minis are fine within the same account.
  • Bots. Fully automated systems, HFT and “set and forget” bots are banned. Semi-automated tools are allowed while you actively supervise them.
  • Copy trading. The homepage FAQ says “Yes. Copy trading is allowed” across your own evaluation and funded accounts if every account stays within its rules. The funded trader agreement and terms ban trade copying between users, and the July 2026 program article lists copy trading among activities prohibited on EdgeX. Copying between your own accounts is the most you should assume, and only in writing from support.
  • Stops and risk. Funded accounts need a defined stop on every trade, a risk-to-reward no worse than 5:1, and adding to positions only as part of a defined strategy. Using the liquidation level as your stop is not accepted.
  • Inactivity. The help centre says an account with no trades for 30 days is deleted. The agreement asks for at least one trade per calendar week. Breached accounts are deleted after 30 days unless you buy a reset.
  • Account limit. Five accounts per trader, evaluation and funded combined (plan cards and agreement). One payout article says 10, and the terms say “twenty (5)”.

Our news trading rules guide compares news windows across firms.

EdgeProp payouts

Rule EdgeCore and EdgeOne EdgeX
Profitable days 5 days of at least $200 net since the last payout 5 days of at least $200 (help centre, July 2026); none (funded trader agreement)
Consistency Best day no more than 40% of profit None
Safety Net Must be reached before the first payout; balance must stay above it after withdrawal Only profit above the Safety Net can be withdrawn
Minimum request $500 $500
Maximum, payouts 1 to 5 $2,500 (50K to 100K) / $3,500 (150K and 200K) Same
Maximum, payout 6 onward $5,000 $5,000
Profit split 100% of first $5,000 total, then 90/10 Same
Review Mandatory compliance audit, KYC complete, no active breaches Compliance review; prohibited activities still apply

How the split works. It is counted on cumulative payouts across the program, not per account. If you have been paid $4,200 and request $1,200, the first $800 is paid at 100% and the remaining $400 at 90%, so you receive $1,160. After $5,000, a $2,000 request pays $1,800.

How you get paid. The newest article (July 7, 2026) says Rise is EdgeProp’s exclusive payout provider. You request from the dashboard with no bank details. After approval, Rise emails an invitation, and funds typically reach the Rise wallet within 24 to 48 hours. From Rise you can withdraw by bank transfer (usually 1 to 3 business days), crypto (usually hours) or local currency, depending on your country. EdgeProp’s own approval review is 2 to 5 business days. Older articles still mention wire, Wise and PayPal. Those appear to be out of date.

Payout proof. EdgeProp’s payouts page shows a leaderboard of first names, cities and amounts up to $12,500. That is the firm’s own claim. We could not check it.

A first payout, step by step

A worked example on a 50K EdgeOne funded account:

  1. Pass the evaluation: reach $53,000 with at least the minimum trading days and no breach of the trailing threshold.
  2. Sign the agreement, pass KYC and pay the activation fee. One help article says the funded account is created within 5 to 15 minutes, a newer one says credentials arrive within 24 to 48 hours, and one Trustpilot reviewer could only start trading the next session.
  3. Trade at no more than 5 contracts until peak equity touches the Safety Net of $52,600. From the next session you can trade 10.
  4. To take the full first-payout cap of $2,500 and stay above $52,600, your balance needs to be at least $55,100.
  5. You also need 5 days of at least $200 net each, and your best day must be no more than 40% of the profit. At $5,100 profit (a $55,100 balance), your best day can be up to $2,040.
  6. Request $2,500. With $0 paid so far, you receive the full $2,500. Your next request needs 5 new profitable days.
  7. Your third $2,500 payout crosses the $5,000 mark and is paid at 90%: $2,250.

Any rule breach after you request cancels the payout and resets your progress. The BestProps payout readiness checklist lists what to confirm before you press request.

Live capital after five payouts

After about five compliant payouts, EdgeProp may review you for a live account, where your PA trades are mirrored to real capital through an API. The firm says there is no fixed timeline, you may not be told exactly when mirroring starts, and the decision depends on consistent profit, a clean compliance record and stable behaviour. How It Works mentions “up to $10,000 in live capital”. The help centre does not publish live payout terms, so treat the live stage as possible, not promised.

EdgeProp platforms: one included licence

Each EdgeProp account includes one platform licence, for both evaluation and funded stages. Only one can be active at a time, and switching needs a request to support. The current list, from the platforms page (reviewed October 2, 2026) and the July 2026 help article:

  • tradesea: order execution
  • WealthCharts: charting with built-in data connectivity
  • Bookmap: liquidity heatmap and order flow
  • ATAS: footprint charts and volume analysis
  • Jigsaw Daytradr: DOM execution and tape reading
  • Journalytix: trade journal and analytics

Accounts connect through Rithmic. An older help article also names Quantower, VolBook, MotiveWave, Sierra Chart, NinjaTrader and R|Trader Pro “and any other platform displayed on the product landing page or checkout”. The newer list does not include those, so confirm your platform at checkout. EdgeProp also runs its own “EdgeX Terminal”, marked as a beta. One September 2026 Trustpilot reviewer says the Bookmap licence was described as full but turned out to be limited after payment. Ask support which Bookmap tier is included before you buy for it.

Instruments, commissions and market data

EdgeProp lists CME Group futures: equity indices, energy, metals, agriculture, interest rates and currencies. EUREX (including DAX) is unavailable. Commissions include brokerage and clearing. Exchange and regulatory fees can vary.

Contract Per side Round turn
ES, NQ (E-mini S&P 500, Nasdaq) $2.50 $5.00
YM, RTY (E-mini Dow, Russell) $2.00 $4.00
MES, MNQ, MYM, M2K, MCL, MGC (micros) $0.71 $1.42
CL, NG, HO, RB (energy), NKD $2.86 $5.72
GC, SI, PL, HG (metals) $2.05 $4.10
ZC, ZS, ZW, ZM, ZL (grains); 6E, 6B, 6J, 6C, 6S (currencies) $1.25 $2.50
ZB, UB / ZN / ZF, ZT (rates) $1.67 / $1.50 / $1.30 $3.34 / $3.00 / $2.60

Commissions matter for the $200 profitable-day rule, which counts net profit after fees. Ten round turns of 2 ES cost $100, so a $250 gross day nets $150 and does not count. Micro Bitcoin and Micro Ether, livestock and some micro FX contracts are listed as tradable but have no published commission rate.

Level 1 data is included. Level 2 (depth of market) is an add-on at $12 per exchange or $40 for the CME bundle per month, billed at month end, with no refund once active.

EdgeProp restricted countries

EdgeProp publishes two lists. The site page (policy dated October 27, 2025) and the help centre article (March 2026) mostly
