We checked 18 futures prop firms on their own pages for what every Bookmap roundup skips: which Bookmap licence the firm gives you, whether you can place trades from Bookmap, what Level 2 data costs on the firm’s route, and whether Bookmap still works once you are funded. Placing orders from Bookmap needs the Global+ plan ($99 a month, $79 billed yearly, $1,990 lifetime), and on Rithmic Bookmap will not run without paid order-book data. Only EdgeProp supplies a Bookmap licence, and it never names the plan. Ten 50K products pass, ranked on Bookmap cost per $1,000 of loss room (list price, activation, firm fees for the route or connection, one month of Level 2 and one Global+ month, divided by the overall loss floor). DayTraders.com EOD 50K is cheapest at $109.50, Lucid Trading LucidFlex 50K is $117.50 and EdgeProp EdgeOne 50K is $126.00. BluSky (the only firm naming Bookmap on Rithmic and Tradovate), TradeDay, Phidias, Elite Trader Funding and Apex ($414.00) follow; Bulenox shows Bookmap only as a logo and Tradeify allows it only through a general rule on Tradovate. OneUp Trader, LeeLoo Trading and Take Profit Trader carry floors that follow open profit, Earn2Trade names Bookmap only for the evaluation, and Alpha Futures, MyFundedFutures and Topstep are listed as Bookmap firms elsewhere but do not sell it.

Quick picks among prop firms that use Bookmap

  • Cheapest Bookmap seat: DayTraders.com EOD 50K, $109.50 per $1,000 of loss room. $105 one-time, $5 activation, $10 CME depth and a firm-written Bookmap guide.
  • Lowest one-time price, no activation fee: Lucid Trading LucidFlex 50K, $117.50 before depth. Bookmap named for every account type, nothing else published.
  • Bookmap licence included: EdgeProp EdgeOne 50K, $126.00. The only firm supplying Bookmap, plan not named; $12 CME depth.
  • Bookmap on Rithmic or Tradovate: BluSky Launch 50K, $128.50 before depth. $59 for 30 days, then a $99 launch fee on passing.
  • Clearest Bookmap rules: TradeDay Fast Pass 50K, $144.00. Says you need your own licence and Level 2 in plain words.
  • Biggest floor, Bookmap named on live: Elite Trader Funding Direct to Funded 50K, $178.20 on a $5,000 floor, plus a $45 Rithmic fee.

Why a brand-level “supports Bookmap” misleads: Bookmap runs on a route, not on a brand. At Lucid Trading, TradeDay, Elite Trader Funding, Phidias and Apex the same 50K opens Bookmap on Rithmic and not on CQG or Tradovate, at BluSky it works on two of six variants, and at Tradeify only on Tradovate. On Rithmic it also needs order-book data the firm sells separately, and to place trades it needs Bookmap’s most expensive plan.

What Bookmap is and who it suits at a prop firm

Prop firms that use Bookmap: a liquidity heatmap with bright bands and volume bubbles beside a small order ticket labelled Trade from chart
A Bookmap seat at a prop firm: the heatmap view, and the plan that lets you trade from the chart.

Bookmap is a desktop order-flow platform. Its main screen is a heatmap of resting limit orders over time, so large bids and offers show as bright bands, with traded volume drawn as bubbles on the price line and a DOM beside it. Traders who read liquidity, absorption and stop runs use it to see where size sits before price gets there. It does not hold your account: it connects to the data and order route the prop firm gives you.

Bookmap says where it connects for futures: “Bookmap connects to various data providers for futures trading, including Rithmic (MBO & full depth), dxFeed (full depth), CQG Continuum.” At the firms in this guide that means CME Group futures (CME, CBOT, NYMEX, COMEX) on the firm’s Rithmic or Tradovate route. Forex and CFD prop firms run MT5, cTrader, DXtrade or Match-Trader accounts, which Bookmap does not log in to, so this guide is futures only; for those platforms see prop firms that use Match-Trader.

It suits a discretionary futures trader who scalps or day trades off the order book and will pay for it. It suits a swing trader, a chart-pattern trader or anyone who wants automation far less, because the firm rules on bots and the cost of the plan both work against them.

How we ranked prop firms that use Bookmap

How we ranked the best prop firms that use Bookmap, a five-step process built from each firm's own pages and dated checks
The five checks behind every ranking in the Prop Trader’s Guide.
18
Futures firms checked
10
Products ranked
4
Warned or eval only
4
Not sold or not open
  1. Sources: each firm’s own checkout, platform and setup articles, rules and pricing pages, read October 5, 2026. Bookmap’s own site is used for its plan prices and connection rules only; its partner and prop-firm pages are leads, never proof that a firm offers Bookmap.
  2. The test, per product: the firm’s own pages say you can trade that product in Bookmap on the evaluation and on the funded account up to the first payout, and you can buy it today. A firm sentence for the funded stage counts; so does a platform list or login the firm says applies to all its accounts. Silence on the funded stage is not a pass.
  3. Licence: supplied by the firm, your own, or not published. A bare name in a platform list is not a licence statement, and a discount code from Bookmap is not a licence from the firm.
  4. Order: firms that name Bookmap in text first, by cost per $1,000 of loss room, lowest first; then a logo-only listing; then a general “any compatible platform” rule. One product per firm, the cheapest passing 50K on this number, at list prices.
  5. Warnings, not ranks: a live call-up, a live-stage gap and a hidden Trustpilot rating are named in each firm’s watch-outs. A floor that follows open profit intraday, or a daily loss that ends the account, keeps a product out of the ranking.

Bookmap cost per $1,000 of loss room = (50K list price of one attempt + activation fee + any surcharge for the Bookmap route + any fee for connecting a third-party platform + one month of Level 2 for one CME exchange + one month of Bookmap Global+ unless the firm supplies a plan that trades) ÷ overall maximum-loss floor at its smallest stage up to the first payout × 1,000

Worked example, DayTraders.com: $105 for the EOD 50K, $5 activation, no route surcharge, no connection fee, $10 for CME depth and $99 for Global+ because DayTraders.com does not supply Bookmap. $219 ÷ $2,000 × 1,000 = $109.50. Elite Trader Funding shows how a route fee and a big floor interact: $747 + $45 Rithmic + $99 = $891 on a $5,000 floor, $178.20. The floor is the overall maximum loss, never a daily limit. A fee a firm does not publish is never treated as $0: it is left out and the cost is marked, and a fee whose reach is unclear is included and marked. Full method: how we rank.

Notes on this ranking: Firms 1 to 8 name Bookmap in text and are ordered by cost. Bulenox (9) shows Bookmap only as a logo and Tradeify (10) only allows any compatible platform, so they follow, whatever their cost. * Bulenox charges $100 a month for connecting to Rithmic through third-party API or composite software and does not say whether Bookmap counts; we include it ($107.56 without it). # Tradeify does not name Bookmap; its rule that you can use any platform compatible with your broker covers its Tradovate accounts, and its Rithmic accounts cannot buy the Level 2 data Bookmap needs. † The firm names Bookmap for the evaluation and its funded account shares the same login or the same unscoped platform list, so we count Bookmap once funded without a sentence that says so. ‡ The firm publishes no Level 2 price on this route, so the figure leaves depth out and is lower than what you will pay. § EdgeProp supplies a Bookmap licence without naming the plan, so we add the $50 that separates Global+ from Global ($106.00 if its plan places orders), and use its higher $80 activation fee ($118.00 on $60). ¶ Monthly products count one month. With a second account month and a second Global+ month, BluSky is $207.50, TradeDay $288.00 and Phidias $282.80. TradeDay’s pages give its Funded Live floor as $1,500 and as $2,000; that stage starts after the fifth payout, so the ranking uses the $2,000 Funded Sim floor ($192.00 on $1,500). The Bookmap month is Global+ at $99, read on Bookmap’s pricing page October 5, 2026. Codes never set a rank.

The Bookmap plan is a large share of every seat. Take the Global+ month out and DayTraders.com falls from $109.50 to $60.00, and Apex from $414.00 to $364.50. EdgeProp, the one firm that supplies a licence, would drop from third to fifth; the other firms keep their order, because each adds the same $99.

Which Bookmap licence each prop firm gives you

Search results for Bookmap prop firms often say the platform is “included”. On the firms’ own pages, one firm supplies a Bookmap licence and the rest leave it to you. They fall into three groups:

  • Supplied by the firm (1): EdgeProp (“Bookmap license is included with your EdgeProp account. No additional subscription is required.”), with the plan never named and one licence per account.
  • Your own, in the firm’s words (5): TradeDay (“You will need your own paid Bookmap licence in order to trade using Bookmap.”), Elite Trader Funding (“Subscription costs for the supported platforms are the trader’s responsibility.”), and three unranked firms: Take Profit Trader (“Purchase a Global or Global Plus plan (required for Rithmic connections).”), OneUp Trader once funded, and Earn2Trade (“Earn2Trade does not provide a free license to the listed platform(s) unless otherwise stated.”).
  • Not published (8): DayTraders.com (until live, where it is yours), Lucid Trading, BluSky, Phidias, Apex Trader Funding, Bulenox, Tradeify and LeeLoo Trading name or allow Bookmap and say nothing about who pays. DayTraders.com and Phidias mark other platforms as included or free on the same pages, which makes the silence on Bookmap easier to read: you pay.

Bookmap’s own partner pages list prop firms and discount codes. We do not use those as evidence: a code from Bookmap lowers Bookmap’s price, it is not a licence from the firm, and the firm’s own pages decide whether a firm offers Bookmap at all.

What Bookmap costs at a prop firm, Global vs Global+

Bookmap sells four plans, and only two can show live futures data. The deciding line is in Bookmap’s knowledge base: “To trade from the Bookmap chart to your funded account, you need the Bookmap Global+ package.” So Global+ is the plan a prop trader who clicks orders in Bookmap needs, and Global is a viewing plan beside another order platform. Bookmap’s pricing page, read October 5, 2026, also says “Real-Time Futures & Stocks Market Data fees are not included in the price of the Bookmap software subscription.”

Bookmap plans and list prices on bookmap.com, read October 5, 2026; market data is extra on every plan.
Bookmap planBilled monthlyBilled yearlyLifetimeOn a prop account

Global$49 a month$39 a month$990Futures and stocks data; view and analysis
Global+$99 a month$79 a month$1,990Needed to trade from the chart to a funded account

Paying ahead cuts the monthly price: Global+ is $79 a month billed yearly ($948 up front) and Global $39 ($468). A lifetime Global+ licence at $1,990 equals about 20.1 months of the monthly plan, so it pays only if you expect to trade with Bookmap for well over a year and a half. The ranking always counts one month at $99, because a trader buying an evaluation pays month by month.

On the data side, the firm’s Rithmic login carries the market data; Bookmap’s own data products (BookmapData, dxFeed, its Rithmic resale) are for traders without a broker feed. One Bookmap add-on does touch prop traders: on Rithmic, backfill is “1 hour free, 24 hours requires $14/mo per exchange”. It is optional and never part of the ranking.

How much the plan changes the cost of a Bookmap seat at each ranked firm:

Cost per $1,000 of loss room with Global+ (trade from Bookmap), Global (view only) and no Bookmap plan.

10. Tradeify Growth 50K (Tradovate)$122.00$97.00$72.50

Take Profit Trader’s guide disagrees with Bookmap on the plan, telling you to buy Global or Global Plus for Rithmic. For viewing, Global is enough; for clicking orders into a funded account, Bookmap’s own page is the stricter source and the one we use.

Level 2 data, the second Bookmap cost at prop firms

Most platforms work on top-of-book data, which the firms here bundle with their accounts. Bookmap does not, on Rithmic: “The Market Order Data is a prerequisite for using Rithmic in Bookmap.” Its troubleshooting page explains the “permission denied” error you see without it, and tells you to ask “whoever created your Rithmic account” to switch it on. At a prop firm, that is the firm, and the firm sets the price.

Three firms say outright that Bookmap needs it: TradeDay (“Bookmap requires level 2 market order data to function.”), Apex (“You will also need Level 2 data and possibly, a second login.”) and Take Profit Trader (“You must have Level 2 market data enabled for at least one exchange. To activate it, please contact our Live Chat.”). Most depth add-ons run by calendar month: DayTraders.com and Apex add-ons expire at month end whenever you buy them, and Elite Trader Funding’s is “a one-time purchase that grants access for the specific month in which it’s bought”. Buy depth early in the month.

Where the price is not published (Lucid Trading, BluSky, TradeDay’s Rithmic accounts, Bulenox, Elite Trader Funding’s dashboard, LeeLoo Trading’s member area), ask before you buy. Our cost figure leaves it out and marks the row with ‡, so those firms are cheaper in the table than they will be on your statement.

Bookmap connection routes at prop firms, Rithmic, Tradovate, dxFeed and CQG

Every ranked firm but Tradeify runs Bookmap on Rithmic, and BluSky adds Tradovate. Rithmic gives Bookmap market-by-order data and full depth; you log in with the firm’s credentials and pick the firm’s system (DayTraders.com, Apex) or Rithmic Paper Trading (TradeDay, Bulenox, Take Profit Trader, Earn2Trade, OneUp Trader) and a nearby gateway. Bookmap’s note on that step: “When configuring connectivity in Bookmap, pay attention to the Rithmic System/Gateway combination.” On Rithmic you sign the market data agreements first, as non-professional.

Can you use Bookmap on a Tradovate prop account? Bookmap connects to Tradovate (“Additionally, Tradovate allows trading regular CME contracts.”), but only BluSky names Bookmap on its Tradovate list and only Tradeify’s general rule covers it there. Elsewhere the firms keep Bookmap on Rithmic: Elite Trader Funding’s Tradovate Bundle runs TradingView, Tradovate and NinjaTrader, and TradeDay and Lucid Trading list it only under Rithmic. The route is fixed when you buy; Apex says “Converting between Rithmic, Tradovate, and WealthCharts is not possible due to differences in account setups, data routing, and fee structures.” For the routes themselves see our guides to prop firms that use Rithmic and prop firms that use Tradovate.

dxFeed and CQG. Bookmap also supports dxFeed and CQG Continuum, but “Please note that Bookmap does not support other CQG products, such as CQG IC.” No firm we checked names Bookmap on a dxFeed or CQG account; MyFundedFutures sells a dxFeed route without listing Bookmap, and Lucid Trading’s CQG route does not list it. Do not assume a dxFeed or CQG prop account will run Bookmap because Bookmap supports the feed.

Bookmap at each prop firm stage, evaluation to live

The ranking test stops at the first payout, but anyone who builds a workflow around Bookmap wants to know whether it survives a live move. Here is what each firm says:

  • Stated on evaluation and funded: EdgeProp (its platform table marks Bookmap included at both, and live accounts mirror your funded orders) and Lucid Trading (“All listed platforms work with all Lucid account types.”; live not covered).
  • Stated on live, funded inferred: Elite Trader Funding’s LIVE ELITE names Bookmap and allows “Data connection: Rithmic-compatible platforms only, for now.” DayTraders.com allows it on live with your own licence.
  • Funded inferred, live not published: BluSky, TradeDay, Phidias, Apex and Bulenox. Each names or shows Bookmap for the evaluation, and the funded account uses the same login or an unscoped platform list. Apex adds that live needs a paid licence key for any third-party platform. Tradeify’s general rule covers its accounts the same way.
  • Evaluation only: Earn2Trade’s Bookmap guide is scoped to the Gauntlet Mini and Trader Career Path; the partner firm that issues the funded account names no platform.

Inferred is not the same as stated. If Bookmap on the funded account matters to you, ask the firm to confirm it in writing before you buy; the cost cells for inferred firms carry a †.

Ranked prop firms that use Bookmap

Ten 50K products pass: eight firms that name Bookmap in text, in cost order, then Bulenox and Tradeify. Each block carries the same fields, in the table’s order.

DayTraders.com EOD 50K is the cheapest Bookmap seat, with a firm guide and $10 CME depth

DayTraders.com sells only Rithmic accounts and keeps a written guide called Connect BookMap to Rithmic. It is specific about the version (“Make sure you’ve updated to the latest version of BookMap (7.4 or higher) for seamless connection to the Day Traders server.”) and about the system to pick: “select DayTraders.com. Do not select ‘Rithmic Paper Trading’”. It also prices the one thing Bookmap cannot run without on Rithmic, market depth, at $10 a month for CME, and its platform table marks Bookmap as Mac compatible.

Video: no official DayTraders.com video covers its Bookmap setup, and we do not substitute vendor or creator videos.

  • Connection: Rithmic only (“Rithmic accounts are designed to work exclusively with the Rithmic DMA broker that enables a variety of 3rd party trading platforms.”), system DayTraders.com, after signing both Rithmic agreements as non-professional.
  • Licence: Not published for the evaluation or Pro account; the Bookmap row in the platform table has no licence label, while ONYX and Quantower say included. On live it is yours: “If you already own a license, you may connect your live account using the following platforms”, a list that includes Bookmap. We count one Global+ month.
  • Stages: Evaluation stated (platform table and setup guide); Pro inferred because it opens on the same Rithmic login; live stated with your own licence.
  • Cost: $105 one-time, a $5 Pro activation fee, $10 for CME depth and $99 for Global+: $219 ÷ $2,000 × 1,000 = $109.50 per $1,000 of loss room. On a yearly Global+ plan ($79 a month) it is $99.50. The Static 50K ($50, $1,000 static floor) works out at $164.00, so the EOD product ranks.
  • Account rules: $2,000 end-of-day trailing floor; “The EOD Trailing Drawdown locks in each night based on your session’s ending balance; it does not trail intraday.” A $1,250 daily loss limit pauses the day (“Breaching this limit on any day results in your account being paused for the day”). $3,000 target in at least 2 qualifying days, 10 minis or 100 micros, 50% consistency.
