How The Math Works

  • Discounted reset fee: reset fee minus the entered discount when the discount applies to resets.
  • Discounted new evaluation price: new evaluation price minus the entered discount when the discount applies to new evaluations.
  • Path cost: discounted price plus any entered activation or funded-account fee for that path.
  • Cost difference: reset path cost minus new evaluation path cost. A negative result means the reset path is cheaper from entered values only; a positive result means it costs more.
  • Recovery needed: entered goal minus current P/L, floored at zero. A negative current P/L increases the amount needed to reach the entered goal.
  • Break-even payout needed: reset path cost plus prior reset spend plus recovery needed from current P/L to the entered goal.
