TL;DR: Hola Prime Futures is the CME futures program of Hola Prime, a Hong Kong prop firm operating since June 2024 that added futures in July 2025. On October 11, 2026 it sold two products in $25K, $50K, $100K and $150K sizes: the 1-Step Prime challenge ($99, $159, $259 or $359) and the Direct Account, a Sim-Funded account with no evaluation ($348, $548, $698 or $998). There is no activation fee now (an older version charged $149), no daily loss limit on 1-Step Prime, a 6% profit target, and an end-of-day trailing drawdown of 4% on the $25K and $50K or 3% on the $100K and $150K that locks at the starting balance. The catches are in the funded rules: a mandatory stop loss with a 2% risk cap per trade idea (re-entries within 10 minutes count as the same idea), a 35% consistency rule (20% on Direct), five qualifying profitable days per 1-Step payout, rising per-payout caps from $1,000 to $5,000, and a 2.5% payout fee. Payouts are weekly at 90%. Platforms are Tradovate, NinjaTrader and WealthCharts. US traders are accepted; 31 countries, including India, Pakistan, Vietnam, Ukraine and Russia, are not. The Trustpilot rating of 4.5 covers the whole firm, mostly its forex business; futures-only reviews are few and mixed.
Research status: Checked October 11, 2026 against Hola Prime’s Futures overview, 1-Step Prime and Direct Account pages, the price selector for every plan and size, the Futures Trading Rules page (both tabs), the plan comparison page, all 33 Futures help-centre articles on plans, payouts, platforms, the Live Account and eligibility, the Terms and Conditions, and archived copies of the 1-Step Prime page from July 2025, February 2026 and July 2026. Prices were read from Hola Prime’s public pages on that date and were not verified by purchase; the checkout asks for an email address before it shows a basket. Reviews were read on Trustpilot, PropFirmMatch and Reddit on the same date.
Hola Prime Futures review verdict
Hola Prime Futures is cheap to enter and easy to understand at the challenge stage. The $50K 1-Step Prime costs $159, the only targets are a 6% profit goal and a 40% best-day limit, there is no daily loss limit and no minimum number of days, and the trailing drawdown is calculated on end-of-day balances and stops trailing once you are 4% (or 3%) up. There is no activation fee after you pass, and news trading is allowed in every phase.
The difficulty moves to the funded stage. Once you hold a Sim-Funded Account, every trade needs a stop loss, the combined risk of one “trade idea” may not exceed 2% of the starting balance, and Hola Prime treats any same-direction re-entry on the same contract within 10 minutes as part of the same idea. Breaking that rule ends the account immediately, and it is the rule most negative futures reviews describe. Payouts are weekly at 90%, but each one needs five profitable days above a size-based minimum, a best day under 35% of total profit, and stays inside a cap that starts at $1,500 on a $50K. After every payout the drawdown floor resets to the starting balance, so withdrawing everything you are allowed to leaves almost no room for a losing day.
The firm’s public record is mostly a forex record. The 4.5 Trustpilot score from 3,946 reviews covers all of Hola Prime; there is no separate futures profile, and the futures-specific reviews we found were few and split between fast-payout reports and complaints about breach decisions. BestProps does not give Hola Prime Futures a numeric score. If you buy, trade the challenge the way you plan to trade the funded account, with a stop on every order and no quick same-direction re-entries, because the funded rules will not let you change style afterwards.
Is Hola Prime Futures legit? Company, launch and account model
Hola Prime Futures is a working product of an operating company: it has a live checkout, a dedicated rules page with worked examples, a futures help centre of more than 30 articles, published payout methods and fees, and a public payout report. “Legit” here means it is a real business selling what it describes. It does not mean every payout will be approved; that depends on the funded rules below, which Hola Prime enforces strictly. Here is who you deal with, as Hola Prime’s own pages describe it.

When it launched. Hola Prime announced Hola Prime Futures on July 9, 2025, offering a 1-Step challenge or a Direct Account up to $150,000, with “1-hour withdrawals” as the headline. At launch the program ran on the Rithmic data feed with Project X, Quantower and R Trader Pro; an archived copy of the 1-Step Prime page from July 19, 2025 shows those platforms and prices quoted per month. The program has since moved to Tradovate, NinjaTrader and WealthCharts and changed its prices, split and drawdown at least twice (see the pricing history below), so expect it to keep moving.
How the firm says it makes money. Hola Prime’s own FAQ says it earns from challenge fees and trades its own capital, using an algorithm to study, and in some cases replicate, its traders’ simulated trades in live markets. It says this does not affect the trader’s simulated account or the contractual payouts.
Account types: 1-Step Prime vs Direct Account
Both products lead to the same kind of account, a Hola Prime (Sim. Funded) Account, and share the same sizes, the same 90% weekly payout and the same trailing drawdown. The Direct Account skips the challenge and charges for that up front, then compensates with a daily loss limit and a stricter consistency rule. Figures are from the plan comparison page and the Futures Trading Rules page, read October 11, 2026.
| Rule | 1-Step Prime: challenge | 1-Step Prime: Sim-Funded | Direct Account (Sim-Funded from day one) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Price ($25K / $50K / $100K / $150K) | $99 / $159 / $259 / $359 | No further fee | $348 / $548 / $698 / $998 |
| Profit target | 6% | None | None |
| Minimum trading days | None | None | None |
| Daily loss limit | None | None | 2.5% of previous day’s closing balance, soft breach |
| Max loss (end-of-day trailing) | 4% ($25K, $50K); 3% ($100K, $150K) | Same | Same |
| Consistency rule | Best day at most 40% of total profit | 35%, checked at each payout | 20%, checked at each payout |
| Risk per trade idea | No limit | 2% of starting balance, stop loss mandatory | 2% of starting balance, stop loss mandatory |
| Max position (minis / micros) | 1/10, 3/30, 7/70, 10/100 | Same as challenge | 1/10, 3/30, 6/60, 9/90 |
| Profitable days before a payout | Not applicable | 5 days of at least $100 / $150 / $200 / $250 | No requirement published |
| Payout split and cycle | Not applicable | 90%, every 7 days | 90%, every 7 days |
Choosing between them. On a $50K, Direct costs $389 more than 1-Step Prime. That buys you skipping a 6% target, but you then trade with a daily loss limit of about $1,250 and must keep your best day under 20% of total profit, which effectively means at least five solid days before every payout. Unless you are confident you would fail the challenge several times, 1-Step Prime is the cheaper route to the same account (see worked example 1).
Hola Prime Futures pricing, activation fee and discounts
Prices were read from the price selector on the Futures overview for each plan, size and platform on October 11, 2026. The selector returned the same price for “Tradovate / Ninja” and for WealthCharts.
| Size | 1-Step Prime | Direct Account | Max loss | 1-Step price per $1,000 of max loss | Direct price per $1,000 of max loss |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| $25K | $99 | $348 | $1,000 (4%) | $99.00 | $348.00 |
| $50K | $159 | $548 | $2,000 (4%) | $79.50 | $274.00 |
| $100K | $259 | $698 | $3,000 (3%) | $86.33 | $232.67 |
| $150K | $359 | $998 | $4,500 (3%) | $79.78 | $221.78 |
The last two columns divide the price by the maximum loss allowance, a rough measure of how much room each dollar buys. The $50K and $150K 1-Step Prime accounts are the best value by that measure; the $100K drops to a 3% drawdown, so it buys less room per dollar than the $50K.
Activation fee. There is no activation fee on October 11, 2026. After passing 1-Step Prime you complete KYC and sign an agreement, and the Sim-Funded Account is issued; the futures overview advertises “$0 Activation Fees”. This is a change: the archived 1-Step Prime page from February 10, 2026 told traders to “pay the $149 one-time Hola Prime Account Activation Fee” after passing. A Direct Account has no activation step either; KYC and the agreement are completed right after purchase.
Is it a one-time fee or a monthly subscription? Hola Prime’s own pages disagree. The help-centre articles for the 1-Step Prime Challenge and “Monthly Membership” say the challenge is a monthly subscription that renews automatically every 30 days until you pass, cannot be paused, and is billed separately for each challenge; once you pass there is no recurring fee. The futures overview banner says “no monthly subscriptions”, and the price selector shows a single price with no “/mo”, where the July 2025 version showed “/mo”. BestProps could not settle this without buying. Before paying, check whether the checkout summary shows a renewal date, and if it does, cancel in your account settings if you stop trading.
Discount codes and current offers. No futures discount code was published on October 11, 2026. The only coupon in the site’s price configuration, WELCOME20 (20% off), is restricted to forex accounts. The futures overview shows a “Limited Deal: $0 Activation Fees + 100% Challenge Fee Refund”, describing a full refund of the challenge fee with your first four payouts; however, the Terms and Conditions (section 20.13) label the challenge fee refund “Forex Only” and pay it with the fourth successful payout from the same account. Treat the refund as unconfirmed for futures until support confirms it in writing. Coupon sites list other Hola Prime Futures codes; BestProps could not confirm any of them with Hola Prime, so none are printed here.
Refund policy. A fee can be refunded only if you ask within 14 days of registration and have not traded; $20 is deducted. Failing KYC, a voluntary termination after trading, or a termination for prohibited trading means no refund. The platform cannot be changed after purchase; if you picked the wrong one and have not traded, Hola Prime will refund the fee minus $20.
| Archived 1-Step Prime page | Entry price shown | Profit split | Trailing drawdown | Activation fee | Platforms |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| July 19, 2025 | Monthly pricing, e.g. $192/mo on the $100K (marked 20% off) | 90% | 3% | Not shown | Rithmic: R Trader Pro, Project X, Quantower |
| February 10, 2026 | “$38 Starting fee” | 80% | 3% | $149 one-time after passing | Not shown in capture |
| July 18, 2026 | “$99 Starting fee” | 90% | 4% ($25K, $50K), 3% ($100K, $150K) | Not mentioned | Not shown in capture |
| October 11, 2026 (live) | $99 to $359 | 90% | 4% / 3% | $0 | Tradovate, NinjaTrader, WealthCharts |
The documented pattern is a lower sticker price paired with an activation fee and a lower split in early 2026, then a higher entry price with no activation fee and a 90% split from mid-2026. BestProps does not predict future sales; check the Hola Prime deals page for what has been confirmed.
1-Step Prime challenge rules
The 1-Step Prime challenge is a single phase with no time limit. Rules are from the Futures Trading Rules page and the 1-Step Prime help article.
- Profit target. 6% of the starting balance: $1,500, $3,000, $6,000 or $9,000.
- Maximum loss, end-of-day trailing (hard breach). 4% on the $25K and $50K (for accounts bought on or after January 19, 2026) and 3% on the $100K and $150K. The limit sits that far below your highest end-of-day balance, rises only when a day closes at a new high, and locks permanently at the starting balance once the account is up 4% (or 3%). Equity, including open trades, must never touch it.
- No daily loss limit. There is no daily cap in the challenge or in the 1-Step Sim-Funded Account.
- Consistency 40%. Your biggest winning day may be at most 40% of total profit. If it is higher you are not failed; you keep trading until the share falls. Required total profit = best day ÷ 0.40.
- Position limits. 1, 3, 7 or 10 mini contracts across all open positions, with 10 micros counting as one mini.
- No risk-per-trade cap in the challenge. The 2% rule starts on the Sim-Funded Account. Hola Prime’s terms still forbid passing with one style and switching to another once funded, so a challenge passed with oversized trades is a problem later.
- Flat daily. All positions closed by 3:30 p.m. CT Monday to Friday, with the risk team closing leftovers from 3:28 p.m. CT.
After you pass. You receive an email titled “[Action Needed] Congratulations on Passing Your Challenge”, complete KYC and sign the agreement, and then receive credentials for a Sim-Funded Account of the same size. Hola Prime also requires a KYC video interview before the first payout.
Sim-Funded and Direct Account rules
1-Step Sim-Funded Account. No profit target and no daily loss limit. The trailing maximum loss is the same as in the challenge and starts again from the new account’s starting balance. Consistency tightens to 35%, the 2% risk per trade idea applies, and a stop loss is mandatory on every trade. A breached Sim-Funded Account cannot be reset; you buy a new challenge.
Direct Account. Same trailing maximum loss and the same 2% risk rule, plus a daily loss limit of 2.5% of the previous day’s closing balance (the starting balance on day one). Hitting it is a soft breach: open trades are closed and trading is paused until the next day, which resets at 5:00 p.m. ET. Intraday profit raises the day’s allowance, so a $7,000 gain on a day that started with a $2,500 limit lets you lose up to $9,500 from the peak before the breach level. Consistency is 20% and position limits are lower on the two biggest sizes (6/60 and 9/90).
Inactivity. A Sim-Funded Account with no completed round-trip trade for a calendar week (Sunday to Friday) can be closed. Opening a position without closing it the same day does not count.
The 2% risk per trade idea and the 10-minute re-entry rule
This is the rule that ends most funded accounts in the public complaints, so it is worth reading slowly. On every Sim-Funded and Direct account the total risk of one trade idea, measured from entry to stop loss, may not exceed 2% of the starting balance (1% on DX Futures accounts). Breaking it is a hard breach and the account is terminated.
- Stop loss is mandatory. A trade without a stop is treated as having unlimited risk; if its floating or realised loss exceeds 2% it is a breach.
- Slippage past your stop does not count if the stop itself was placed within the limit.
- Layering counts as one idea. Several positions on the same contract, in the same direction, open at overlapping times are added together.
- Re-entries within 10 minutes count as one idea. If you close a position and open a new one on the same contract in the same direction within 10 minutes, its risk is added to the previous trade’s, and a chain of such re-entries keeps adding up.
Hola Prime’s own example: three overlapping ES buys risking 0.5%, 1.0% and 0.6% on a $100,000 account total 2.1%, which is a hard breach even though no single trade exceeded 2%. A second example chains re-entries opened 5 and 6 minutes after the previous close to a total of 3.3%. The challenge has no such rule, so traders who pass by scaling into positions or re-entering quickly after a stop-out need to change that habit before they are funded, and the terms also forbid trading the funded account materially differently from the challenge.
Rules that apply to every account
These come from the Terms and Conditions (sections 20 and 21), the rules page and the help centre. Breaches can mean removed trades, lower limits, terminated accounts, refused payouts or a permanent ban.
| Topic | Hola Prime Futures rule |
|---|---|
| Overnight and weekend holding | Not allowed. Close everything by 3:30 p.m. CT Monday to Friday; on Friday the system closes positions and the terms say the account is terminated. Trading reopens at 5:00 p.m. CT. A position opened Sunday evening may be held into Monday. |
| Holidays and early closes | Sim-Funded accounts must be flat at least 30 minutes before an early close. The risk team may start flattening from 11:58 a.m. CT on those days, but Hola Prime says not to rely on it. |
| Agricultural and CBOT products | Close before each market’s own earlier close. CBOT commodity markets pause 7:45 to 8:30 a.m. CT and accept no new orders. |
| News trading | Allowed in all phases, though Hola Prime warns about gaps and slippage. |
| Expert advisors and bots | Not allowed on futures accounts. The comparison page lists EAs as “Not allowed”, the rules page as “Restricted”, and the terms allow EAs only on MT5 forex accounts with a paid add-on. |
| Copy trading | Copying between your own accounts under one profile is allowed, including with third-party copiers, if the lead account has the smallest position limit. Copying other people’s trades is prohibited. |
| Scalping | No minimum hold time, but a pattern of opening and closing positions in under 3 minutes without a plan is treated as tick scalping and is prohibited. Hyperactivity, including constant order modifications, is also a breach. |
| Other banned practices | Grid trading, one-sided betting, arbitrage, high-frequency trading, group hedging, “gambling” (profits concentrated in a few outsized trades) and switching between EA and manual trading across phases. |
| Devices, VPN and VPS | One registration per person, email, device and network identity. No shared devices, even with family. A VPN is allowed only if it does not route through a restricted country; manual trading through a VPS is prohibited. Travel can trigger a compliance review. |
| Communications | The terms ask customers not to publish support or compliance correspondence without consent and not to make disparaging statements about the firm. Read section 7 before you sign. |
Hola Prime Futures payouts
Payouts come from the Sim-Funded or Direct account, at a 90% split, once every 7 calendar days. The weekly clock starts with the first trade after your previous payout, so a week without trading does not count. Each request has to clear these gates:
- Profitable days (1-Step Prime only). Five non-consecutive days with net profit of at least $100, $150, $200 or $250 ($25K to $150K), counted fresh after every payout. The Direct Account has no published profitable-day requirement.
- Consistency. Best day no more than 35% (1-Step) or 20% (Direct) of total account profit. A partial payout resets the score, and a new consistency period starts with your next trade.
- Minimum and cap. Minimum request $250, $500, $1,000 or $1,500. The cap rises with each payout, as below.
- Account review. Each payout triggers a compliance review of up to 24 business hours before you can submit. Once submitted, Hola Prime says the payout is processed within one hour, on business days only. A KYC video interview is required before the first payout.
| Size | Minimum request | 1st payout cap | 2nd | 3rd | 4th onwards |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| $25K | $250 | $1,000 | $1,250 | $1,500 | $2,000 |
| $50K | $500 | $1,500 | $2,000 | $2,500 | $3,000 |
| $100K | $1,000 | $2,000 | $2,500 | $3,000 | $4,000 |
| $150K | $1,500 | $2,500 | $3,000 | $4,000 | $5,000 |
The drawdown resets after a payout. Once a payout is processed, the maximum loss limit moves to the starting balance, and the balance must stay above it. Anything you leave in the account above the starting balance is your only cushion for the next losing day.
Methods and fees. Bank wire, crypto (BTC, ETH, USDC, USDT on ERC-20 or TRC-20) and Rise (minimum $500 excluding the firm’s share; if Rise does not support your country, Hola Prime pays in crypto). A 2.5% processing fee applies to every method, with a minimum of $25 for wire and Rise and $5 for crypto.
Speed claims. Hola Prime’s payout report showed an average payout time of 12 minutes 34 seconds and a fastest of 36 seconds on October 11, 2026. Those are firm-wide figures, mostly from forex, and they measure processing after you submit, not the review that comes before it. The same page says “$10M+ in Rewards Distributed” in its heading and “more than $7 million” in the text below it.
Worked examples: cost, drawdown, consistency, payouts and risk
1. What getting funded costs on a $50K
| Scenario | Cost if each challenge is a one-time fee | Cost if the 30-day renewal in the help centre applies |
|---|---|---|
| Pass 1-Step Prime on the first try, inside 30 days | $159 | $159 |
| Pass 1-Step Prime on the first try, in days 31 to 60 | $159 | $318 |
| Fail twice, pass on the third 1-Step Prime | $477 | $477 or more |
| Buy a Direct Account | $548 | $548 (no renewal described) |
You would have to fail 1-Step Prime three times before the Direct Account became cheaper on a $50K, and the Direct Account then trades under a daily loss limit and a 20% consistency rule.
2. When the trailing drawdown stops trailing
| Size | Max loss | Starting floor | End-of-day balance that locks it | Locked floor | Profit target balance |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| $25K | $1,000 (4%) | $24,000 | $26,000 | $25,000 | $26,500 |
| $50K | $2,000 (4%) | $48,000 | $52,000 | $50,000 | $53,000 |
| $100K | $3,000 (3%) | $97,000 | $103,000 | $100,000 | $106,000 |
| $150K | $4,500 (3%) | $145,500 | $154,500 | $150,000 | $159,000 |
Hola Prime’s own $50K example: after a $51,000 close the floor is $49,000, and a $500 losing trade the next day leaves the floor at $49,000 because it follows the high-water mark, not the current balance. Once a day closes at $52,000 the floor is fixed at $50,000. Intraday highs never move it.
3. The consistency rules in numbers
| Account and phase | Best day | Total profit needed | Why |
|---|---|---|---|
| $50K challenge (40%, $3,000 target) | $1,200 or less | $3,000 | $1,200 is 40% of $3,000; at least 3 profitable days |
| $50K challenge | $1,500 | $3,750 | $1,500 ÷ 0.40 |
| $50K challenge | $2,000 | $5,000 | $2,000 ÷ 0.40 |
| 1-Step Sim-Funded (35%) | $800 | $2,286 | $800 ÷ 0.35, plus 5 days of $150 or more on a $50K |
| 1-Step Sim-Funded (35%) | $7,000 | $20,000 | Hola Prime’s own example |
| Direct (20%) | $600 | $3,000 | $600 ÷ 0.20; at least 5 profitable days in practice |
| Direct (20%) | $7,500 | $37,500 | Hola Prime’s own example |
A big day is never a breach under these rules; it raises the finish line. BestProps’ consistency rule calculator runs the same arithmetic.
4. First payout on a $50K 1-Step Sim-Funded Account
Suppose you have five days of at least $150 profit, total profit of $2,400 and a best day of $800 (33%, inside the 35% rule). The first-payout cap is $1,500, so that is the most you can request. At 90% you are due $1,350. A 2.5% bank wire fee on that is $33.75, leaving $1,316.25; Hola Prime does not say whether the fee is taken from the gross request or from your share, so treat this as an estimate. After the payout the balance is $50,900 and the floor resets to $50,000, leaving a $900 cushion. Across the first four payouts the caps add up to $9,000 requested, or $8,100 at 90% before fees, and each payout needs five fresh profitable days.
5. The 10-minute re-entry trap on a $50K
The 2% limit on a $50K is $1,000 per trade idea. ES moves $50 per point, MNQ $2 per point.
- Buy 2 ES with an 8-point stop: 2 × 8 × $50 = $800 of risk. Allowed.
- Stopped out, you buy 1 ES again 6 minutes later with a 5-point stop: $250 more. Because it is the same contract, same direction, within 10 minutes, the idea now totals $1,050. Hard breach, account closed.
- Wait 11 minutes before re-entering and the second trade is a new idea with its own $1,000 limit.
- On MNQ, 10 contracts with a 40-point stop risk 10 × 40 × $2 = $800, inside the limit.
6. Trading costs on a busy day
On Tradovate or NinjaTrader, MNQ costs $0.95 per side ($1.90 per round trip) and ES $2.88 per side ($5.76 per round trip). Twenty round trips of one MNQ cost $38 in commission, which counts against the drawdown and, on Direct, the daily loss limit. WealthCharts publishes higher figures without saying whether they are per side (ES $4.36, MES $1.42), so ask support before choosing it for a high-frequency style.
