Payout evidence standard
The BestProps Payout Ledger tracks source-checked payout policy rows. This page explains how payout evidence, claims, submissions, and firm responses are handled.
Firm payout terms, help centers, FAQs, and public statements carry the cleanest evidence label.
Public payout complaints stay marked as reports, chatter, claims, allegations, or unverified discussion unless stronger evidence supports them.
A checked row is not a financial audit, solvency review, or prediction that future payouts will clear.
Payouts are one of the fastest ways a prop firm earns or loses trader trust. The BestProps Payout Ledger tracks source-checked payout policy rows, while this page explains how BestProps labels payout evidence, handles payout claims, and gives traders or firms a path to send better information.
Evidence Levels
- Official policy source: firm documentation, payout terms, help center pages, FAQs, terms, or public statements.
- Firm-submitted evidence: material provided by the firm or an authorized representative.
- Trader-submitted evidence: payout proof, account timeline, or policy context submitted by a trader, with sensitive details redacted before any public use.
- Public chatter: publicly available reviews, forum posts, social posts, or community discussion about payout experiences.
- Unverified allegation: a public or submitted claim that has not been independently confirmed.
“Verified” means BestProps reviewed the available evidence for a specific row, claim, source, or submitted item. It is not a financial audit, legal conclusion, solvency review, dispute ruling, or guarantee of future payouts. Evidence labels reflect what was available to BestProps at the time of review and may change when better evidence appears.
How Labels Appear in the Payout Ledger
The current Payout Ledger uses official firm sources to create compact payout policy rows. Each row is scoped to the specific firm path or account type checked, because payout rules can vary by account model.
The ledger table currently includes these columns:
- Firm and scope: the firm name plus the checked account path, plan, or payout model.
- Timing or request window: the payout timing, cadence, or request-window wording visible in the checked source.
- Method visibility: whether the checked source names a payout method or leaves a method gap.
- Minimum or threshold: the documented minimum, threshold, buffer, balance requirement, cap, or account-size caveat.
- Eligibility gate: the visible conditions that can affect payout eligibility, such as trading days, consistency, buffer, KYC, agreement, invoice, or rule compliance.
- Source status: the row-level evidence label showing what the checked source supports and what remains unclear.
- Checked: the last source-check date shown for that row.
- Official source: the official help-center, FAQ, payout-policy, or terms URL used for the row.
The Source status labels used in the current ledger include official payout page found, official FAQ found, method documented, method from separate official guide, method not found in selected row, source gap, minimum documented, scope table, scope caveat, account-size scope split, and separate reward model. Those labels are descriptive evidence labels, not payout safety scores or recommendations.
Submit Payout Evidence
Traders can send payout evidence, source corrections, broken source links, or payout-policy updates through the BestProps contact page or by emailing info@bestprops.com. Useful submissions include the BestProps page URL, the firm name, the account path, the official source URL if one exists, the relevant dates, and a short explanation of what changed or what needs review.
BestProps does not treat a screenshot as complete proof by itself. Stronger submissions usually include official firm wording, source URLs, transaction or dashboard details that can be checked, redacted receipts, or multiple consistent evidence points. We do not pay for negative allegations or incentivize claims against a firm.
Firms: Dispute a Row or Send a Response
Firms can dispute a payout row, correct an account-path mistake, send an official source, or respond to a serious payout-related claim through the BestProps contact page or info@bestprops.com. Helpful firm responses include the row URL or page URL, the exact source URL, the date the policy changed, and whether the response can be quoted or summarized publicly.
For serious firm-level payout allegations, BestProps aims to seek a firm response when practical before publication or before a major update. No response is not evidence of wrongdoing. When a firm response is relevant, supported by sources, and publishable, BestProps may summarize it or link it near the related claim.
Redaction and Privacy
Trader names, account numbers, email addresses, payment IDs, addresses, government IDs, signatures, and other personal or financial identifiers are removed before public use. Private financial documents are not published unless they are intentionally submitted for publication and can be redacted safely.
BestProps does not normally name individual people in negative payout contexts. Individual names are redacted to a role, such as “a support representative” or “a company executive,” unless a senior editorial decision approves naming based on strong sourcing and public-interest need.
Payout Delay and Denial Claims
Public payout delay or denial discussion is labeled as public reports, public chatter, claims, allegations, or unverified discussion unless BestProps has stronger evidence for the specific item. BestProps does not state that a firm denied valid payouts unless the statement is supported by strong evidence and has received additional editorial review.
Firm-level allegations about payout denial, fraud, scam, shutdowns, or ownership disputes must be attributed, labeled as unverified or alleged when not independently verified, stripped of individual-person names in wrongdoing contexts, and reviewed with extra care before publication.
Limits
A verified payout does not prove every future valid request will be paid. A payout complaint does not prove the firm acted improperly. Rules, account status, KYC, prohibited trading behavior, open positions, agreement terms, invoice approval, country restrictions, payment-provider issues, or documentation gaps may affect payout outcomes.
BestProps does not adjudicate trader-firm disputes and is not a regulator, auditor, broker, fiduciary, law firm, tax adviser, financial adviser, or insolvency monitor. The Payout Ledger is a source-checking tool, not payout reliability scoring, payout approval prediction, trading advice, or a recommendation to buy any account.
