Check ES, NQ, MES, and MNQ CME Globex session states in your timezone with a source-stamped planner that runs in your browser. Always verify current exchange notices before trading around a holiday or disruption.

Source-stamped, not live market data: this clock calculates from a reviewed local CME schedule registry. It does not check exchange status, quotes, or prop-firm flattening rules.

A root + month code + year identifies a dated contract, such as MESU6. This tool does not label an active or front month because that requires a separately maintained volume and roll methodology.

Schedule logic, freshness, and limitations
  • Weekly CME equity-index futures hours are evaluated in America/New_York so daylight-saving changes convert through IANA timezone rules.
  • The regular weekly session runs Sunday 6:00 p.m. through Friday 5:00 p.m. ET, with a weekday 4:15–4:30 p.m. ET trading halt and 5:00–6:00 p.m. ET maintenance close.
  • Holiday dates are not ordinary weekly sessions. A date without a reviewed final override returns unknown; an expired registry returns stale.
  • “Open” means the reviewed CME Globex schedule permits trading. It does not prove liquidity, a live exchange connection, broker access, or permission under a prop-firm rule.
