Research basis and limitations

This page preserves the current BestProps document-based profile. Exact deep-source URLs may not be stored with every record, so individual statements may not link to specific firm pages. No account purchase, live trading, support contact, identity check, or payout test was performed.

TL;DR: Orion Funded currently describes five simulated-account routes in its V3 help center. Orion Zero is instant with 3% daily loss, 6% trailing-lock drawdown, and no target. Orion Nova is a one-step Pay After You Pass route with a 4% target. Orion Standard uses two 6% targets, 3% daily loss, and 6% static drawdown. Orion Swing uses 8% and 5% targets with 5% daily loss and 8% static drawdown. Orion Select uses three 5% targets, 5% daily loss, and 5% static drawdown. Funded accounts start with an 80% reward split and a 14-day request cycle with no initial waiting period. MT5 and MatchTrader are documented. Pricing, program names, country access, and weekend holding need final confirmation because current official pages contain conflicting V2 and V3 details.

Orion Funded review verdict

Orion Funded's V3 menu spans instant access, one-step Pay After You Pass, two two-step risk structures, and a three-step route. The programs are not ordered from easiest to hardest. Each changes the target sequence, daily loss, drawdown method, minimum-day rule, and reward conditions.

The current V3 help center is the clearest source for program comparison, but older program names still appear in the homepage, PDF terms, and legacy help articles. That creates a version-control risk. A trader should save the exact program label, purchase date, objectives, and agreement rather than assuming an older Orion Lite or V2 rule applies to Nova or another V3 account.

Orion Funded programs and current cost

Program Phases and targets Daily loss Maximum drawdown Drawdown type
Orion Zero Instant with no target 3% 6% Trailing lock
Orion Nova One phase at 4% 4% evaluation and 3% funded 8% evaluation and 5% funded Trailing lock
Orion Standard Two phases at 6% and 6% 3% 6% Static
Orion Swing Two phases at 8% and 5% 5% 8% Static
Orion Select Three phases at 5% each 5% 5% Static

Orion Nova is marketed as Pay After You Pass. The current help page states a USD 7 or EUR 7 registration fee, with a separate activation fee due only after passing. Other program pricing is displayed through an interactive homepage selector with account-size and promotional state. No exact reference price is preserved here because the selected route, size, discount, and purchase-date rules can change.

The official homepage says accounts bought before the March 22, 2026 version 2 point 2 cutoff retain the terms in force at purchase. Save the checkout and agreement. A current promotion or V3 table should not be applied to an older account.

Orion Funded evaluation rules

Orion Standard, Swing, and Select require at least four trading days during each evaluation phase. Orion Zero and Nova have no stated minimum in the current V3 comparison. All targets use closed profit. Open profit does not count toward passing, and open trades and pending orders must be closed before a phase is evaluated.

Static and trailing-lock drawdown behave differently. Standard, Swing, and Select keep a maximum-loss floor tied to initial balance. Zero and Nova move the floor upward with gains, then lock it under the program conditions. A trader who compares only target percentages can miss how much usable loss room remains after early gains or a reward.

Daily loss is calculated from the greater of the prior day's closing balance or equity according to the current terms. The reset is separate from maximum drawdown, which does not reset. Confirm the dashboard reset time and whether a limit is breached when balance or equity touches the line.

Orion Funded Zero and Nova rules

Orion Zero skips evaluation and starts as a simulated funded account. It has no profit target, a 3% daily loss limit, and 6% trailing-lock maximum drawdown. The Best Day Rule applies, so the largest profit day cannot exceed 20% of total simulated profit in the reward cycle.

Orion Nova uses a 4% evaluation target, 4% daily loss, and 8% maximum drawdown during evaluation. Its funded version uses 3% daily loss and 5% maximum drawdown. The current help center says the Best Day Rule applies only after Nova reaches the funded stage.

Both Zero and funded Nova use a 3% safety cushion. The first 3% of profit above starting balance is not eligible for a reward request. The cushion is meant to leave room above the loss floor during processing, but it changes the amount that can actually be requested.

Orion Funded rewards and split

The current help center and PDF terms state an 80% reward split on eligible simulated profit. Traders who qualify for scaling can move to 90%. Rewards run on a fourteen-calendar-day cycle, with no initial waiting period before the first eligible request. After an approved reward, the next window opens fourteen days later.

The account must be in simulated profit, open positions must be closed, and all program rules must be satisfied. Once a request is submitted, trading pauses while Orion reviews it. Payment methods and processing estimates are shown in the Client Section at request time, so older Rise or crypto fee tables should not be assumed current.

Orion says the original program fee is returned after the fourth successful withdrawal. It also advertises a 48-hour processing guarantee after approval. The guarantee excludes weekends, holidays, provider problems, network maintenance, compliance or fraud reviews, incorrect payment details, and other delays outside Orion's control. A claim must be submitted rather than applied automatically.

Orion Funded trading conditions

Orion's current market guide lists forex, indices, metals, commodities, stocks, and cryptocurrencies. Zero, Nova, and Standard use maximum forex leverage of 1:100 in the current table, while Swing and Select use 1:30. Other asset classes use lower ratios, and Orion can change leverage or commissions with notice.

The current V3 program comparison says every program allows overnight and weekend holding in evaluation and funded stages. The current PDF terms say Orion Standard does not permit overnight or weekend positions. That conflict is decision-critical. Obtain written confirmation tied to the selected program and purchase date before carrying a position across a session or weekend.

News rules also vary. Orion Zero applies a reduced reward percentage to profit from trades opened or closed within a stated high-impact news window, while other routes have their own evaluation and funded conditions. Read the current rule for the exact account rather than relying on the homepage summary.

Orion Funded platforms and country access

Orion documents MT5 and MatchTrader in its purchase and platform setup guides. Credentials for the Client Section and trading platform are separate. The available instrument list, server, account type, and platform should be confirmed before the first trade because the evaluation begins when that first simulated trade is placed.

The official country sources conflict. The live eligibility FAQ names the United Arab Emirates, Indonesia, Iran, North Korea, Syria, Cuba, Sudan, Afghanistan, Vietnam, Bangladesh, and additional sanctioned or restricted jurisdictions. The current PDF terms provides a different longer list. Nationality, residence, legal-entity location, sanctions, KYC, and payment access can all matter, so a short marketing list is not sufficient.

Who Orion Funded may fit

  • Traders who want to choose among instant, one-step, two-step, and three-step routes.
  • Buyers who can compare static drawdown with trailing-lock behavior.
  • MT5 or MatchTrader users who have verified the exact program and server.
  • Traders comfortable with bi-weekly rewards and account-specific consistency rules.

Who should compare Orion Funded alternatives

  • Traders who need an unambiguous weekend-holding rule before purchase.
  • Buyers who do not want old and new program names to overlap in official materials.
  • Zero or Nova traders whose results are concentrated in one high-profit day.
  • Traders in a jurisdiction that appears on either official restriction list.

Orion Funded BestProps assessment

Orion's V3 programs cover materially different risk preferences. Standard offers a low two-phase target with a 6% static loss budget. Swing raises the first target and widens the static maximum loss. Select spreads three equal targets across a tighter 5% limit. Zero and Nova reduce evaluation friction but add trailing-lock behavior, a safety cushion, and Best Day limits in funded use.

The correct comparison requires more than the headline fee. Save the program version, account size, price, promotion, activation fee, target sequence, minimum days, daily calculation, drawdown method, safety cushion, Best Day Rule, split, reward schedule, overnight rule, platform, and country result together.

What to verify before buying Orion Funded

  • The V3 program name, account size, registration or activation fee, promotion, and refund condition.
  • The target for each phase, minimum days, daily loss calculation, and maximum drawdown method.
  • Whether the 3% safety cushion and 20% Best Day Rule apply.
  • The 80% split, scaling requirements, first request, later cycle, fourth-withdrawal refund, and payment method.
  • Overnight, weekend, news, copy-trading, EA, inactivity, and prohibited-strategy rules.
  • MT5 or MatchTrader access, KYC, nationality, residence, legal-entity, and sanctions eligibility.
