TL;DR: Hantec Trader offers several simulated trading programs, from multi-step evaluations to accounts that skip an evaluation. Its current Instant Funding program is the simplest place to see the trade-offs: the published $50,000 configuration costs $2,139, has no profit target or minimum trading-day requirement, and uses both a 6% daily loss limit and a 6% trailing total-loss limit. The standard reward split is 80%, with an optional increase to 95%. That convenience comes with a high entry cost, strict drawdown mechanics, manual-trading rules, and extra country restrictions. Confirm every selected option at checkout because program terms and add-ons differ.

Hantec Trader review verdict
Hantec Trader is an active simulated prop trading provider with a broad program menu. Traders can choose an evaluation with one, two, or three stages, or start with a simulated funded account through an Instant program. That range is useful, but it also means the firm cannot be judged from one headline rule or advertised price.
The main appeal is choice. A trader who prefers a conventional evaluation can consider the Express or Enhanced formats. Someone willing to pay substantially more to avoid a target can consider Instant Funding. Across these routes, account balances and trades are simulated. Hantec Trader says qualifying traders may receive cash rewards based on virtual profits, but it does not give traders brokerage accounts funded with firm capital.
The Instant Funding reference plan is costly compared with an evaluation fee, yet it removes the pass-or-fail profit target. Its largest drawback is the trailing loss calculation. The total-loss floor follows the highest closed balance until it reaches the starting balance. A trader can therefore breach the account after giving back closed gains even when the account is still above its original balance.
Hantec Trader programs
The current Hantec Trader menu includes Instant24, Instant Lite, Instant Funding, Express, EnhancedX, Enhanced, and Endurance. The labels cover different combinations of evaluation stages, targets, loss limits, reward schedules, and trading restrictions.
Two published structures show how wide the choice is:
| Program | Structure | Published targets | Daily loss | Total loss | Minimum days |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Instant Funding | No evaluation | None | 6% | 6% trailing | None |
| Enhanced | Two evaluation stages | 10% then 5% | 5% | 10% static | Three profitable days per stage |
For Enhanced, each required profitable day must make at least one-half of 1% of the starting balance. Hantec Trader publishes no overall time limit for completing the two stages. Express instead uses one evaluation stage, a 10% target, a 5% daily loss limit, and a 6% trailing total-loss limit.
Those examples are not interchangeable. A rule shown for Enhanced should not be assumed to apply to Instant Funding, and vice versa. The safest comparison starts with the exact program, balance, and add-ons a trader plans to buy.
Hantec Trader current cost example
Hantec Trader's canonical Instant Funding page publishes six account sizes. These are current reference prices, not a promise that checkout pricing will remain unchanged.
| Simulated balance | Published fee |
|---|---|
| $1,000 | $43 |
| $2,000 | $86 |
| $5,000 | $214 |
| $10,000 | $428 |
| $25,000 | $1,069 |
| $50,000 | $2,139 |
The $50,000 Instant Funding configuration costs $2,139 before any paid add-ons. There is no evaluation target and no stated minimum number of trading days. That does not make the account low risk. The fee is much larger than a typical evaluation price, while the account can still be breached by loss-rule violations.
Hantec Trader has also published promotional offers and separate affiliate landing pages. One older affiliate page displays a 75% standard split and a 90% add-on split, while the current canonical program page displays 80% and 95%. This review uses the current canonical program terms. Treat any promotion or older landing-page figure as unconfirmed until the same term appears in the checkout order.
Hantec Trader drawdown rules
The Instant Funding daily loss limit is 6%. At the start of each server day, Hantec Trader compares the prior end-of-day balance and equity, then uses the higher value to calculate the daily limit. The daily threshold can therefore rise after profitable open positions are reflected in equity. Traders should not treat it as a simple 6% deduction from the original account size.
The 6% maximum-loss limit trails the highest closed balance. Once closed profits raise the balance, the loss floor moves up. After the account has gained 6%, the floor stops at the original starting balance. Open profit does not raise this particular floor, but a later closed loss can still cause a breach.
This is an important distinction from a static drawdown. Traders who prefer a fixed floor may find the Enhanced structure easier to track because its published 10% maximum loss is static. BestProps explains the difference in its guide to prop firm drawdown rules.
Instant Funding also restricts opening or closing trades during the three minutes before and after a high-impact news event. Positions generally must be closed by 23:45 GMT+3 on Friday. Crypto positions can be reopened when that market becomes available on Saturday. Automated strategies are not allowed on Instant accounts even though Hantec Trader supports expert advisers on some other MT4 and MT5 programs.
Hantec Trader rewards
The standard Instant Funding reward share is 80% of eligible virtual profit. A paid add-on can increase it to 95%. The standard request schedule is every 14 days, with a weekly option available through an add-on.
Hantec Trader currently promotes a 24-business-hour reward approval guarantee for eligible requests. This refers to the firm's approval decision, not the time needed for a bank, wallet, or payment provider to deliver funds. The stated remedy is an added approved reward of up to $1,000 if an eligible request is not approved within the published period. Eligibility and compliance review still matter.
Reward share and timing should be compared together. A larger split does not help if a trader chooses a rule set that does not fit the strategy or pays a high fee for a feature that is not needed. The BestProps guide to prop firm profit splits covers the main comparison points.
Hantec Trader platforms and markets
Hantec Trader currently supports MetaTrader 4 and MetaTrader 5. The firm lists currencies, bullion, indices, commodities, and crypto among its available markets. Published leverage varies by asset. For Instant Funding, the help center lists up to 50:1 on currencies, 10:1 on bullion, 15:1 on indices and commodities, and 1:1 on crypto.
Platform support does not override account rules. Expert advisers may be allowed on some MT4 or MT5 programs if they comply with the firm's strategy restrictions, but all Instant accounts are manual-trading only.
Hantec Trader country access
Hantec Trader maintains a restricted-country list and also applies extra restrictions to Instant products. The general list currently includes the United States, Australia, Germany, Russia, Thailand, Vietnam, and several other jurisdictions. Instant programs add the United Kingdom, Mauritius, Hong Kong, and Singapore to the restriction set.
Location eligibility can change because of service-provider and compliance requirements. A country not appearing in a summary is not proof of eligibility. Hantec Trader says an unavailable country at checkout should be treated as restricted. Confirm access before paying, especially when travel, residency, or identity documents involve more than one jurisdiction.
Hantec Trader trader fit
Hantec Trader may suit traders who:
- want a choice between evaluation and no-evaluation structures;
- can track a trailing closed-balance drawdown in real time;
- trade manually on Instant accounts;
- value MT4 or MT5 access; and
- are comfortable paying more to remove an evaluation target.
It may be a poor match for traders who:
- need access from a restricted country;
- rely on expert advisers in an Instant strategy;
- hold non-crypto positions through the weekend;
- want a fixed loss floor; or
- would be strained by losing the full Instant Funding fee.
Traders comparing other providers can start with the BestProps prop firm directory. Those who prefer evaluations should also compare how firms count minimum trading days rather than relying on the stage count alone.
BestProps assessment
Hantec Trader's strongest feature is program breadth. The current menu gives traders meaningful choices about stage count, drawdown type, and time requirements. Its official pages also state clearly that every trade uses virtual funds.
The weaker point is complexity. Rules vary materially by program, and add-ons can change the reward share or request schedule. An older affiliate page also conflicts with the current canonical Instant Funding split. The Instant Funding option is easy to understand at a headline level but expensive at larger balances, and its trailing drawdown deserves more attention than its absence of a profit target.
BestProps would place Hantec Trader on a comparison list for traders who specifically want MT4 or MT5 and a choice of evaluation formats. It should not be selected from the advertised balance or reward split alone.
What to verify before buying
Before paying, save or screenshot the order summary and confirm:
- the exact program name and simulated balance;
- the fee after add-ons or discounts;
- daily-loss and total-loss calculation methods;
- profit targets and profitable-day requirements;
- standard and optional reward shares;
- the first and later reward-request dates;
- news, weekend, and automated-trading restrictions;
- platform and instrument availability; and
- country eligibility for both the firm and the selected program.
Terms can change after this review's recheck date. The checkout order, current program rules, and signed agreement should control the decision.
