Use this page to check the reward-request gate before expecting money. FTMO’s global and U.S. paths use different account language, document checks, and payment rail details.

Step 1

Clear the request gate

Check the 14-day clock, Account MetriX path, positive profit, no open positions, and no pending orders.

Step 2

Separate review from send

FTMO review, invoice approval, reward sending, and bank/provider arrival are separate stages.

Step 3

Match the region path

Global FTMO and FTMO x OANDA U.S. sources do not list the same rail and paperwork details.

01 Account scopeGlobal FAQ + U.S. FAQ Global vs U.S.
Official source says

Global FTMO source discusses an FTMO Account after objectives and account-agreement requirements are met. The U.S. FTMO x OANDA source uses FTMO Rewards Account language for U.S. residents and U.S.-incorporated legal entities.

Why traders inspect it

Keep global and U.S. rows separate. Do not describe either as a conventional brokerage withdrawal from deposited capital.

02 Simulated-capital framingHow it works + U.S. FAQ Reward language
Official source says

The checked sources describe simulated capital and real-money rewards from simulated profit when requirements are met.

Why traders inspect it

The page should preserve FTMO’s reward terminology instead of turning it into a generic cash-withdrawal claim.

03 First request clockGlobal FAQ + U.S. FAQ Day 14+
Official source says

The global FAQ says a reward claim can be requested on the 14th or later day after the first placed trade on the specific account. The U.S. page says reward can be requested after at least 14 days from the first day of trading.

Why traders inspect it

The clock is account-specific. It is not same-day or daily liquidity.

04 Open positions and ordersGlobal FAQ + U.S. FAQ Close first
Official source says

The checked global and U.S. sources say the account must have no open positions or pending orders before requesting.

Why traders inspect it

A profitable account can still fail the request flow if exposure or pending orders remain.

05 Review timingGlobal FAQ + U.S. FAQ 1-2 business days
Official source says

After submission, FTMO says it reviews the account and notifies the trader within 1-2 business days. The U.S. FAQ similarly describes queueing for review and email instructions within 1-2 business days.

Why traders inspect it

Review timing is not the same as bank or wallet receipt timing.

06 Reward sent timingGlobal FAQ + U.S. FAQ 1-2 after invoice
Official source says

The global FAQ says the reward is typically sent within 1-2 business days after invoice approval. The U.S. FAQ says withdrawals are usually processed within 1-2 business days after invoice confirmation.

Why traders inspect it

Invoice and payment-provider stages can add friction after review.

07 Payment methodsGlobal FAQ + U.S. FAQ Rails differ
Official source says

The global FAQ names bank wire, Visa Direct / Mastercard Send, Skrill, and cryptocurrencies. The checked U.S. FAQ says rewards can be received via Revolut bank wires.

Why traders inspect it

Method availability can depend on country, account, bank, and provider checks. Do not use global rails as the U.S. method list.

08 Caps, minimums, and shareGlobal FAQ + U.S. FAQ $20 / $50 floors
Official source says

Global FAQ states Visa Direct / Mastercard Send up to USD 20,000, Skrill up to USD 3,000, USD 20 minimum closed profit for bank wire, and USD 50 minimum closed profit for crypto. The U.S. FAQ says no minimum profit is needed except enough to cover transaction fees, and separately states USD 20 minimum closed profit to enable bank wire. Global source says 1-Step pays 90% and 2-Step pays 80%, with possible 90% under Scaling Plan or Premium Programme conditions; U.S. source states 80% with possible 90% through Scaling Plan or Premium Program conditions.

Why traders inspect it

Minimum closed profit is not the same as a performance target. Reward share can vary by product and condition.

09 KYC, KYB, and tax paperworkLegal relationship + tax FAQ + U.S. FAQ Docs matter
Official source says

FTMO says account agreement follows objectives and KYC/KYB, with different natural-person, entrepreneur, and company checks. The U.S. FAQ requires the appropriate IRS Form W-9 for first reward payment and proof of ownership for the U.S. bank account. FTMO’s tax FAQ puts tax responsibility on the trader.

Why traders inspect it

Document checks can block a reward even if the account is profitable. This page does not decide tax treatment.

What this page does not claim

It does not claim FTMO pays every valid request, publish payout-delay or payout-denial claims, verify any individual reward, estimate approval rates, decide tax treatment, or guarantee bank arrival timing.

Links and placements

This page currently has no signup links, paid placements, sponsored rows, or monetized routing. If monetized links are added later, this page should be rechecked and disclosure should sit next to the affected link or module.

Page source note

Source verified July 5, 2026, against official FTMO and FTMO x OANDA pages. Re-check FTMO directly before requesting a reward. This is a stated-policy guide for checked official payout sources, not financial advice, not payout proof, and not a claim that every valid request is paid or received on the same timeline. Eligibility still depends on account type, dashboard state, KYC/provider setup, rule compliance, and source changes after this check.
