We priced every product sold by seven crypto-native prop firms and ranked each firm’s best product at the $50K size by what $1,000 of overall loss room costs at list price. HyroTrader Two-Step 50,000 USDT is cheapest at $75.80 ($379 for a $5,000 static floor, trades on your own Bybit or BloFin demo, paid in USDT or USDC, deposit returned with the first payout), then Crypto Fund Trader 2-Phase at $77.80 ($389, Bybit sub-account or Match-Trader/MT5, EUR or USD bank payouts), WenCrypto Double Pass $95.75, Bitfunded 2-Step $99.75, Breakout 1-Step Pro and Kraken Prop Intermediate tied at $112.00 (both $280, both publish no activation fee, same owner), and Tradeify 247 2-Step at $116.67 ($350, Rise or Confirmo payouts). Five of the seven do not name an activation fee, so their figures are fee-only and marked. Every ranked firm ends the account on a 3% to 5% daily loss; none of those daily limits trails the intraday peak. Cheapest sticker: $20 for a $5K Breakout Turbo or Kraken Advanced account. Blue Guardian, FundedNext and FXIFY rank for this search but sell crypto CFDs inside forex firms, so they are shown separately.

Quick picks for the cheapest crypto prop firm

The cheapest crypto prop firm depends on whether you count the sticker or the room you get to lose. Ranked on room, the quick answer is HyroTrader. The rest of the picks below each answer a different buyer’s question.

  • Cheapest overall: HyroTrader Two-Step 50,000 USDT, $75.80 per $1,000. $379 refundable deposit, static 10% floor, trades on your own Bybit or BloFin demo.
  • Cheapest exchange-linked with fiat payouts: Crypto Fund Trader 2-Phase $50K, $77.80 per $1,000, on your own Bybit sub-account, paid by EUR or USD bank transfer or in crypto.
  • Cheapest with a published $0 activation: Breakout 1-Step Pro and Kraken Prop Intermediate, $112.00 per $1,000, paid in USDC (Breakout) or USD and USDG to your Kraken wallet.
  • USDT payouts on three networks: Bitfunded 2-Step, $99.75 per $1,000, paid in USDT on ERC-20, BEP-20 or TRC-20.
  • Most payout routes, including bank via Rise: Tradeify 247 2-Step, $116.67 per $1,000, paid by Rise bank transfer, Rise crypto or Confirmo USDC.
  • Lowest sticker price: $20 for a $5K Breakout 1-Step Turbo or Kraken Prop Advanced account, with a $150 floor.

What makes a crypto prop firm different

Cheapest crypto prop firms explained: a coin and price tag plus a shield labelled Loss room equals a box labelled Real cost
The sticker price only means something next to the loss room it buys.

A crypto prop firm prices and polices its accounts differently from a forex or futures firm, and most of the differences cost money. Four of them matter for the real price of an account.

  • Markets that never close. Crypto trades through weekends, so each firm picks a clock for its daily limit: 00:00 UTC at HyroTrader and WenCrypto, 12:05 AM UTC at Crypto Fund Trader, 00:30 UTC at Breakout and Kraken Prop, 22:00 UTC at Tradeify 247, and 00:00 UTC+8 at Bitfunded, whose guide adds that the previous day’s profit does not carry over into the new day.
  • Funding and swap every day, weekends included. Tradeify 247, Kraken Prop, Breakout and WenCrypto charge 0.033% of the position per day. On Kraken Prop that is about $82.50 a day on $250,000 of notional, and Kraken notes that fees count toward both loss limits.
  • Leverage tiers by coin. WenCrypto and Tradeify 247 allow 5:1 on BTC and ETH and 2:1 on altcoins; Bitfunded caps everything at 5x; Breakout lists BTC at 10x and many altcoins at 2x to 3x; HyroTrader caps funded notional at 2x the starting balance.
  • Weekend and holding risk. Bitfunded forces positions closed within 7 to 10 days on coins, HyroTrader fails an account with no trade in 30 days, WenCrypto after 28 days and Tradeify 247 after 30 days. By contrast, the forex firm FundedNext opens no new crypto trades at weekends at all.

Evaluation shapes are familiar: two-step tests (HyroTrader, Crypto Fund Trader, WenCrypto, Bitfunded, Tradeify 247), one-step tests (Breakout, Kraken Prop and each firm’s 1-step line) and instant accounts with no test (Crypto Fund Trader and Tradeify 247 sell these at a much higher price per $1,000). If you are still choosing between asset classes, our crypto vs futures prop firms explainer sets out the trade-offs.

How we checked the cheapest crypto prop firms

How we ranked the cheapest crypto prop firms: five checks built from each firm's own checkout and rule pages
The five checks behind every ranking in the Prop Trader’s Guide.
13
Names checked
7
Crypto-native, ranked
5
Activation not named
0
Daily limits that trail
  1. Crypto-native first: a product ranks only if the firm documents it as a crypto program, not one BTCUSD CFD inside a forex evaluation. A crypto payout rail alone does not count.
  2. Buyable today: each product had a working checkout or priced selector on October 3, 2026. Sold-out, retired and wind-down products are priced for context but never ranked.
  3. Each variant priced: we priced every product at the smallest size and at $50K, then ranked the firm on its cheapest product per $1,000 at $50K.
  4. List price only: codes appear in firm blocks with their end dates and never move a rank.
  5. The overall floor, not the daily limit: loss room is the overall maximum loss in dollars at the smallest stage. Daily limits are shown as watch-outs.

Cost per $1,000 of loss room = (list price + activation fee) ÷ overall max-loss floor in dollars × 1,000

HyroTrader Two-Step 50,000 USDT: ($379 + no activation named) ÷ $5,000 × 1,000 = $75.80

Where a firm does not name an activation fee, we never print it as $0: the figure is fee-only, marked, and the notes say how big a fee would have to be to change the order. A live call-up would be a warning, not a ranking reason; none of the seven ranked products has one. Our cheapest futures prop firms guide uses the same method.

Cheapest crypto prop firms ranked by cost per $1,000

Seven crypto-native products, one per firm, sorted by cost per $1,000 of overall loss room at the $50K size. Ties share a number. #1 recomputed: HyroTrader $379 ÷ $5,000 × 1,000 = $75.80.

Notes on this ranking: * The firm does not name an activation fee for this product, but does not state $0 either, so the figure is the evaluation price alone. An activation fee above $10.00 would put HyroTrader behind Crypto Fund Trader; above $89.75 would put Crypto Fund Trader behind WenCrypto; above $16.00 would put WenCrypto behind Bitfunded; above $49.00 would put Bitfunded behind Breakout and Kraken Prop. Tradeify 247 is already last, so any fee there only widens the gap. † Bitfunded’s checkout sits behind a login, so its price comes from the homepage plan selector and the cart was not seen. ‡ Breakout and Kraken Prop tie at $280 for $2,500 of room; Kraken owns Breakout, and both publish that passing costs nothing more. § HyroTrader’s $379 is a deposit returned with your first payout; the ranking still counts the full $379. Bigger accounts are cheaper per $1,000 at most firms (HyroTrader Two-Step 200,000 USDT is $48.45), but the order above holds at $50K, the size most buyers compare.

Daily limits, leverage and refunds at each crypto prop firm

Same row order as the ranked table. Every daily limit here ends the account when it is broken, and every one resets once a day rather than trailing your intraday high, which is the good news. The bad news is that at most of these firms open losses and fees count.

The daily limit is the rule most likely to end a crypto account early. On Breakout’s Turbo and Kraken Prop’s Advanced plans the 3% daily limit equals the whole 3% floor, so one bad day can end a fresh account. On HyroTrader and Crypto Fund Trader the daily limit is half the floor. Our static drawdown guide explains why a floor that never moves matters more than a big one.

Where trades fill at each crypto prop firm

Most roundups name the platform but not what actually prices your trades. That question splits these seven firms into three groups.

  • Exchange-linked: HyroTrader (your own Bybit or BloFin demo account through an API, or its Hyro platform on live Bybit data) and Crypto Fund Trader (a dedicated sub-account under your own Bybit account, priced by Bybit’s liquidity, with Bybit’s own fees and funding).
  • Exchange terminal, simulated fills: Kraken Prop runs inside Kraken Pro, but evaluation trades “are not sent to the open market.”
  • Firm’s own simulator: Breakout Terminal, Bitfunded’s own platform, WenCrypto on Match-Trader, and Tradeify 247 on DXTrade or MT5 with pricing aggregated from major exchanges.

Exchange-linked routes give you an exchange’s real order book, fees and funding rates, which makes the evaluation look like the trading you would do on your own account. The trade-off is setup: an API key you must not edit or delete (Crypto Fund Trader invalidates the account if you do) and, on the Bybit routes, Bybit’s own country rules. Own-platform firms are simpler to start but price fills from a feed you cannot inspect.

Payout currency at each crypto prop firm, USDT, USDC or fiat

The payout rail decides how many steps sit between a passed account and money you can spend. Same row order as the ranked table.

Payout currency, minimum, first-payout rule, frequency and per-payout cap at each ranked crypto prop firm.
FirmCurrency and railMinimum payoutFirst payoutHow oftenPer-payout cap
HyroTraderUSDT or USDC, no withdrawal fee$100 after the splitOnce in profit; positions closedOn demand, within 24 hours5% of balance per request (checkout says 4%)

Tradeify 247Rise bank or crypto; Confirmo USDC$1003 profitable days of 0.5% or moreOn demand; 24 hours or +$1,000No cap published

Stablecoin payouts are the norm: USDT at HyroTrader and Bitfunded, USDC at Breakout, both at HyroTrader. Fiat is rarer. Crypto Fund Trader pays EUR or USD by bank transfer, Tradeify 247 pays to a bank through Rise (the currency is not stated), and Kraken Prop credits USD to your Kraken wallet for a normal bank withdrawal. Breakout pays only USDC on ERC-20, so you carry the network fee and any delay in moving it to an exchange. WenCrypto names no payout currency at all, which is the biggest gap in this table.

The cheapest crypto prop firms, firm by firm

Each block prices every product the firm sells, then covers where trades fill, how you are paid, the daily rule, leverage, split, refunds, codes and Trustpilot reviews. Ranked order.

HyroTrader Two-Step is the cheapest crypto prop firm per $1,000, on your own Bybit demo

HyroTrader wins this ranking on loss room, not on sticker price. Its Two-Step 50,000 USDT costs $379, and the 10% overall floor gives you $5,000 of room that never moves, so each $1,000 of room costs $75.80. That $379 is also a deposit, not a fee: HyroTrader says the deposit is returned with your first payout, so a trader who passes and gets paid ends up having paid nothing for the evaluation. A failed attempt keeps the whole $379.

Video: “How to CONNECT your ByBit DEMO account to HyroTrader using an API,” official HyroTrader YouTube channel, December 8, 2025. Source type: vendor-produced. Why selected: The firm’s own walkthrough of the Bybit demo connection, the route that makes HyroTrader exchange-linked. No official pricing video exists on the channel.

The fill model is the reason crypto traders shortlist HyroTrader. You connect your own Bybit or BloFin demo account by API, or skip the connection and use Hyro, the firm’s own platform, which it describes as “no exchange account needed. Live Bybit market data with realistic fees and slippage”. Either way you are trading USDT perpetuals only: spot, USDC perpetuals, COIN-M futures and options are not allowed. The daily rule changed this year. HyroTrader’s FAQ now says: “Every HyroTrader challenge uses a static daily drawdown. It applies to every challenge, so there’s nothing to choose or buy.” On the 50,000 USDT Two-Step that is 5%, or $2,500 below your equity at 00:00 UTC, with open positions counted. There is also no live call-up to worry about: “There is no real-capital stage.”

  • Every variant priced: One-Step 5,000 USDT: $69, $230.00 per $1,000; One-Step 50,000 USDT: $499, $166.33 per $1,000; Two-Step 5,000 USDT: $59, $118.00 per $1,000; Two-Step 50,000 USDT: $379, $75.80 per $1,000; Zero-Step 5,000 USDT: $89, $356.00 per $1,000; Zero-Step 50,000 USDT: $629, $251.60 per $1,000.
  • Where trades fill: Your own Bybit or BloFin demo, or Hyro on Bybit data.
  • Payout currency and rail: USDT or USDC, no withdrawal fee; minimum $100 after the split.
  • Daily limit: 5% ($2,500), ends the account; start-of-day equity at 00:00 UTC, open P&L counts.
  • Leverage: Up to 100x on Bybit; funded notional capped at 2x.
  • Profit split: 80%, up to 90% at firm’s discretion.
  • Targets: Phase 1 10% ($5,000), Phase 2 5% ($2,500), with 5 minimum days in each phase; One-Step needs 10% in 5 minimum days.
  • Refunds: Deposit back with first payout.
  • Code price: BLISS10 takes 10% off ($379 to $341.10) behind a countdown that restarts when the page reloads; no end date is shown.
  • Watch out for: Each payout is capped at 5% of the starting balance per request in the FAQ, while the checkout card says $1,000 on a 25,000 USDT account (4%); profit above the cap is forfeited if you do not withdraw it. Inactivity for 30 days fails the account.
  • Choose it when: You want the most static loss room per dollar on an exchange-linked crypto evaluation and you are happy to be paid in USDT or USDC.
  • Trustpilot: 4.0/5 on 227 reviews (read October 3, 2026).

Crypto Fund Trader 2-Phase is the only cheap crypto prop firm here with EUR or USD bank payouts

Second place costs $2 more per $1,000 than first. Crypto Fund Trader sells its 2-Phase $50K for $389 against a $5,000 static floor ($77.80 per $1,000), and the same price buys three routes: your own Bybit sub-account, Match-Trader or MetaTrader 5. What sets it apart in this table is the payout rail. Crypto Fund Trader lists bank transfer in EUR or USD alongside USDT, Bitcoin and Ethereum, so a trader who wants fiat without a middle step has a cheap option here.

Video: Crypto Fund Trader’s own channel has no current pricing video; its account-type explainer is from December 13, 2024 and predates today’s prices, so we leave it out.

On the Bybit route you open a dedicated sub-account under your own Bybit account and hand Crypto Fund Trader an API key; the firm says “Crypto Fund Trader does not add any markup, artificial spread, or fictitious slippage to the provider’s price.” You pay Bybit’s own trading fees and funding rates there, while Match-Trader and MT5 charge the firm’s crypto commission of 0.0325% per side. The catch is the payout clock: a first reward needs at least 15 traded days or 30 calendar days, unless you buy the Weekly Payouts add-on for 20% of the evaluation price. No activation fee is listed for the 2-Phase, but the firm’s fee list does not say $0 either; it names an activation fee only for its Break accounts.

  • Every variant priced: 2-Phase Evaluation $5,000: $58, $116.00 per $1,000; 2-Phase Evaluation $50,000: $389, $77.80 per $1,000; 1-Phase $5,000: $40, $133.33 per $1,000; 1-Phase $50,000: $369, $123.00 per $1,000; Instant $2,500: $125, $833.33 per $1,000; Instant $10,000: $475, $791.67 per $1,000; Break (wind-down, off the selector) $25,000: $70 + $138 after passing, $208.00 per $1,000; Break (wind-down, off the selector) $50,000: $140 + $198 after passing, $169.00 per $1,000.
  • Where trades fill: Your own Bybit sub-account, or Match-Trader or MT5.
  • Payout currency and rail: USDT (ERC20/TRC20), BTC, ETH or bank; minimum not published.
  • Daily limit: 5% ($2,500), ends the account; 12:05 AM UTC balance, breached on equity.
  • Leverage: Up to 1:100 at $50K; 1:5 crypto on small MT5.
  • Profit split: 80%; 90% add-on at +20% of price.
  • Targets: Phase 1 8% ($4,000), Phase 2 5% ($2,500); no minimum trading days on the evaluation.
  • Refunds: No refund published.
  • Code price: No code was on offer when we checked.
  • Watch out for: The 5% daily loss is measured against the 12:05 AM UTC balance and breaches on equity, so an open loss can end the account mid-day; the Bybit route allows USDT perpetuals only. Leverage depends on size: the terms put small Match-Trader and MT5 accounts on 1:5 for crypto, while $50K and above is 1:100.
  • Choose it when: You want a cheap static floor, the choice of trading from your own Bybit sub-account, and payouts to a bank in EUR or USD.
  • Trustpilot: Rating hidden behind Trustpilot’s “breach of our guidelines” banner, 1,095 reviews (read October 3, 2026).

WenCrypto Double Pass, a crypto prop firm for top-100 coins only, with a static 8% floor and no named payout coin

WenCrypto is the narrowest firm in this post: it calls itself “a crypto-only proprietary trading firm that offers evaluation challenges” and lets you trade only the top 100 coins on CoinMarketCap. Its Double Pass $50K costs $383 against a static $4,000 floor, or $95.75 per $1,000, which makes it cheaper than its own Single Pass at every size even though the Single Pass floor is smaller.

Video: WenCrypto has no official YouTube channel we could find, and we do not substitute affiliate videos.

Trades run on Match-Trader, the only platform offered at checkout, and WenCrypto says it “is not an exchange, and we do not hold client deposits.” The rules are conservative: 5:1 leverage on BTC and ETH, 2:1 on altcoins, no EAs or bots, and a 5% daily loss measured from the higher of balance or equity at 00:00 UTC. The gap is the payout itself. WenCrypto’s FAQ says only that “Withdrawals are processed through WenCrypto’s supported payout methods”; no currency, coin or network is named on any page we read. Payouts come every 10 business days, and the first two are capped at 6% and then 8%. The About page testimonials name Maven Trading, a different prop firm; that is all the page shows.

  • Every variant priced: Double Pass (2 Step) $5,000: $44, $110.00 per $1,000; Double Pass (2 Step) $50,000: $383, $95.75 per $1,000; Single Pass (1 Step) $5,000: $55, $220.00 per $1,000; Single Pass (1 Step) $50,000: $479, $191.60 per $1,000; Buy Now Pay Later $5,000: $5 + $69 after passing, $296.00 per $1,000; Buy Now Pay Later $50,000: $15 + $359 after passing, $149.60 per $1,000.
  • Where trades fill: Match-Trader, the firm’s simulator.
  • Payout currency and rail: Not published; minimum not published.
  • Daily limit: 5% ($2,500), ends the account; higher of balance or equity at 00:00 UTC.
  • Leverage: 5:1 BTC/ETH, 2:1 altcoins.
  • Profit split: 80%.
  • Targets: Phase 1 10% ($5,000), Phase 2 6% ($3,000), with 3 winning days of more than 1% each.
  • Refunds: Pages conflict: refund after 3 payouts vs final.
  • Code price: Code WEN takes 25% off ($383 to $288) from a site-wide bar with no end date shown.
  • Watch out for: The refund promise conflicts with the terms: cards say “REFUNDABLE” and the FAQ promises a full refund after three withdrawals, while the terms say all purchases are final and non-refundable. No Trustpilot profile exists to check payout history.
  • Choose it when: You trade only crypto at low leverage, want a static floor that never trails, and can accept an unnamed payout rail for now.
  • Trustpilot: No Trustpilot profile exists for wencrypto.com (checked October 3, 2026).

Bitfunded 2-Step runs on its own crypto prop firm platform and pays in USDT on three networks

Bitfunded built its own venue: its FAQ describes “100+ crypto pairs and 20 TradFi pairs, on a trading platform we built and run ourselves,” priced from “live market data from partner exchanges.” The 2-Step Advanced 50,000 USDT costs $399, and its smallest-stage floor is 8%, or $4,000, which works out to $99.75 per $1,000.

Video: Bitfunded’s official tutorial is from August 25, 2025 and predates today’s products and prices, so we leave it out.

Bitfunded pays in USDT on Ethereum (ERC-20), BNB Chain (BEP20) or Tron (TRC-20), on a Profit Sharing Day you set yourself. Its rule set is the strictest on holding time in this post: no more than 5 open positions, and positions must close within 10 days on major coins, 7 on minor coins and 5 on gold, silver and Tesla. A margin exposure above 65% at payout review cuts the payout by 50% to 70%. Leverage is capped at 1x to 5x, every trade must be placed by hand, and the 0.04% fee to open plus 0.04% to close counts against your floor. We could not see the cart: every Start Challenge button leads to a login, so the price comes from the homepage selector and no activation fee is published either way.
