Best Prop Firms With No Time Limit, Verified Product by Product

We verified the ‘no time limit’ claim on 18 prop firms’ own live pages, then checked what clock replaces the deadline: inactivity windows, minimum trading days, and monthly rebills.

Document-based research and editorial review. Last reviewed October 5, 2026 25 min read

Key takeaways

OneFunded allows the longest idle window here (60 days at evaluation); FTMO is the best-known deadline-free name. Apex Trader Funding is the confirmed opposite case, its evaluation hard-expires in 30 calendar days, and Bulenox‘s own FAQ denies a deadline its pricing page publishes. Every “no time limit” firm replaces the deadline with an inactivity window (usually 30 days) or, on subscription products, a monthly rebill. Freshness: checked October 1, 2026; re-check before you buy.

Quick answer, the best prop firms with no time limit in 2026

  • Most idle days allowed: OneFunded, 60 days at evaluation, tightening to 30 once funded.
  • Cheapest one-time no-deadline futures route: Phidias Express to Live ($723); its inactivity rule is not published, ask the firm first.
  • The “flexible” firm with a published deadline: Apex Trader Funding. Its evaluation hard-expires in 30 calendar days.
  • The hidden deadline: Bulenox. Its FAQ denies a maximum; its own pricing card says 30 days.

“No time limit” is a claim about ONE clock: whether the evaluation has a maximum number of days to pass. The table below verifies that claim product by product, then shows the clock that replaces it.

Published hard deadlines found
  1. Sources: each firm’s own rules pages, help centre and live checkout, read October 1, 2026.
  2. Test: a product passes only when the firm’s pages state no maximum evaluation period, or confirm its absence. “Not published” is never read as unlimited.
  3. Companion rules: minimum trading days and inactivity windows are tracked separately; neither disqualifies a no-deadline claim.
  4. Order: the no-deadline claim on the rule page first, then the longest published idle window at evaluation, then at funded, then fewer minimum days.
  5. Severity: a self-contradicting deadline, or a documentation conflict on the max-loss floor, makes a firm cautionary even if the deadline claim passes. A live call-up is a named watch-out, not a reason to drop out of the ranked list.

Companion rules: prop firms with no daily loss limit and is prop firm trading sustainable full time.

What “no time limit” actually means (and what it does not)

What replaces a prop firm evaluation deadline: a calendar, an hourglass, and tags for deadline, idle days and billing, next to an inactivity note and a monthly rebill receipt
A deadline-free evaluation still has a clock behind it: idle days before closure, and a monthly rebill on subscription products.

“No time limit” is a claim about ONE clock: whether the evaluation has a maximum number of calendar days to reach its target. Marketing hero copy alone never passes a product here; we required the actual rule sentence on the firm’s rules, FAQ or help-centre page. A product can still require a minimum number of trading days first; that is a companion rule, not a deadline.

The real clock, inactivity windows and the cost of waiting

Every firm that removes the evaluation deadline replaces it with a second clock: how many consecutive idle days an account can sit before the firm closes it anyway, the deadline a patient, slow-trading buyer actually hits.

Idle days allowed, what happens at the limit, the cost of three extra months, and the live call-up question, read October 1, 2026.

Prop firms with no time limit, ranked

All 14 passed a clean deadline-free verdict. Six also carry a live call-up watch-out, named in each block below, not treated as a deadline failure.

OneFunded’s 60-day idle window at evaluation is the longest on this list

Verdict: First. Value, Core and Flash rely on the current help article stating “no set time limit,” and the evaluation-stage idle window (60 days) is the most generous here.

  • Deadline claim: “No set time limit,” current help article, all three products.
  • Minimum trading days: Value/Core need 4 minimum days per phase; Flash (1-step) needs 1.
  • Inactivity window: 60 days at evaluation, tightening to 30 days once funded, the real clock a patient OneFunded trader hits is the funded-stage window.
  • Billing: One-time ($199 Value / $279 Flash). No rebill clock.
  • Watch out for: The funded stage’s 30-day window is stricter than the 60-day evaluation runway; a trader who slows down right after funding can lose the account quickly.
  • Trustpilot: rating hidden (“breach of our guidelines” banner), 158 reviews. OneFunded profile, FTMO vs OneFunded.

FTMO removed its evaluation deadline years ago; the 1-Step needs no minimum days at all

Verdict: Second. Both FTMO Challenge products have no published evaluation deadline, confirmed live and unchanged since FTMO’s 2023 policy change.

  • Deadline claim: No evaluation deadline published, either product; current and unchanged for several years.
  • Minimum trading days: 2-Step needs 4 minimum trading days per phase; 1-Step has none.
  • Inactivity window: 30 consecutive calendar days with no trade closes the Challenge stage. The funded Account’s own inactivity policy is not publicly documented.
  • Billing: One-time, non-refundable (€345 2-Step / €319 1-Step at $50K). No rebill clock.
  • Watch out for: The funded-stage inactivity policy is not public anywhere on ftmo.com, so a patient trader who stops trading after funding cannot verify how long they have before the firm acts.
  • Trustpilot: 4.8/5 on 53,448 reviews. FTMO profile, rules.

Alpha Capital Group tells traders outright they can take “1 month or 1 year” to pass

Verdict: Third, cheapest ranked 50K here. Alpha Pro 6% has no published evaluation deadline, quoted directly from the firm’s FAQ.

  • Deadline claim: “You have the flexibility to take as much time as you need to trade the account, whether that takes you 1 month or 1 year,” current FAQ.
  • Minimum trading days: 3 minimum trading days per phase.
  • Inactivity window: 30 consecutive calendar days, evaluation and funded alike; deactivation is irreversible once triggered.
  • Billing: One-time ($217 Alpha Pro 6% / $277 Alpha One 10% at $50K). No rebill clock.
  • Watch out for: The Alpha Prime live call-up is declinable: a decliner “will receive their final payout,” not a forced live transition.
  • Trustpilot: rating hidden (“breach of our guidelines” banner), 21,810 reviews. Alpha Capital Group profile, status.

AquaFunded 2 Step Standard has no published deadline and only a minimum-days gate

Verdict: Fourth. 2 Step Standard’s help article confirms no published evaluation deadline, only a 3-minimum-trading-day gate.

  • Deadline claim: No published evaluation deadline, current help article, 2 Step Standard.
  • Minimum trading days: 3 minimum trading days per phase, at least 0.5% profit on each counted day.
  • Inactivity window: 30 consecutive days with no trade, breach, both evaluation and funded.
  • Billing: One-time ($239.20 at $50K). No rebill clock.
  • Watch out for: The cheaper 2 Step Pro SKU is excluded from this ranking for an intraday-trailing floor conflict.
  • Trustpilot: rating hidden (“breach of our guidelines” banner), 1,199 reviews. AquaFunded profile.

Every Top One Trader evaluation publishes “Unlimited” as its trading period

Verdict: Fifth. toponetrader.com is a different company from Top One Futures, a separate firm covered elsewhere on BestProps. Both FLASH and NOVA publish “Trading Period: Unlimited.”

  • Deadline claim: “Trading Period: Unlimited, no time limit to complete,” current rules article, both products.
  • Minimum trading days: 3 profitable trading days on FLASH; none on NOVA’s pay-after-passing model.
  • Inactivity window: 30 consecutive days, hard breach, both evaluation and funded, both products.
  • Billing: One-time: FLASH $286 at $50K; NOVA is a $7 entry fee plus a one-time activation fee due within 30 days of passing ($275 at $50K).
  • Watch out for: Funded NOVA caps net profit withdrawals at $25,000 per rolling 30 days, on top of the 30-day inactivity rule at both stages.
  • Trustpilot: rating hidden (“breach of our guidelines” banner), 3,495 reviews. Top One Trader profile.

FundedNext Stellar 2-Step prints “Time Limit None” on its own product card

Verdict: Sixth. Stellar 2-Step and Stellar Lite both state “Time Limit: None” for both phases on their current product cards.

  • Deadline claim: “Time Limit: None,” both phases, current product card, Stellar 2-Step and Stellar Lite.
  • Minimum trading days: 5 minimum trading days per phase, 1 trade/day minimum.
  • Inactivity window: 30 consecutive days, Challenge AND funded alike, “no extensions or customizations available.”
  • Billing: One-time ($299.99 Stellar 2-Step / $32.99 Stellar Lite). No rebill clock.
  • Watch out for: A patient trader who goes quiet for a month loses the account outright, and KYC must be filed within 30 days of passing or the Challenge is invalidated.
  • Trustpilot: 4.5/5 on 80,485 reviews. FundedNext rules, payouts.

BrightFunded’s 2-Step Bright has “no fixed deadline” and a static evaluation floor

Verdict: Seventh. 2-Step Bright has a quoted “no fixed deadline” evaluation with a 5-day-per-phase minimum and a static (not trailing) floor.

  • Deadline claim: “No fixed deadline,” current article, 2-Step Bright.
  • Minimum trading days: 5 minimum trading days per phase.
  • Inactivity window: 30 calendar days, automatic deactivation, explicitly covering “Phase 1, Phase 2, and Funded Accounts.”
  • Billing: One-time (€277). No rebill clock.
  • Watch out for: The firm’s separate 1-Step product is excluded here for a floor conflict unrelated to the time-limit question.
  • Trustpilot: rating hidden (“breach of our guidelines” banner), 573 reviews. BrightFunded profile.

Phidias Express to Live has zero minimum trading days and no evaluation deadline anywhere on its live pages

Verdict: Eighth. Express to Live’s rules, terms, home page and help center never state an evaluation deadline, a genuine source-confirmed absence. No page states an inactivity rule either.

  • Deadline claim: No deadline sentence found anywhere on current live pages; confirmed absence, not silence alone.
  • Minimum trading days: 0 on the One-Time Payment path per the firm’s own wording.
  • Inactivity window: Not published, on either stage. Ask the firm in writing before you rely on patience here.
  • Billing: One-time ($723, $0 activation). A separate Fundamental monthly path exists ($164/month) instead.
  • Watch out for: No published inactivity rule means no official assurance against a future policy change.
  • Trustpilot: rating hidden (“breach of our guidelines” banner), 334 reviews. Phidias profile.

FundedNext Futures’ Flex Challenge has no deadline and a clean 30-day idle window

Verdict: Ninth. Flex Challenge passes the deadline test outright; a live call-up is the named watch-out, not the reason.

  • Deadline claim: “No time limit, take as long as you need,” current article, Flex Challenge.
  • Minimum trading days: None.
  • Inactivity window: 30 days, Challenge and funded alike; the funded account cannot be reset once breached.
  • Billing: One-time ($133.99 list / $69.99 with FNFLEX).
  • Watch out for: The Road to Live call-up has no published decline option and is treated as mandatory; simulated profit in a closed account is forfeited on transition.
  • Trustpilot: 4.5/5 on 81,000 reviews. FundedNext Futures rules, payouts.

FundingPips’ 2 Step Pro has no deadline, 30-day idle at both stages

Verdict: Tenth. Both 2 Step phases pass cleanly; a separate program carries the watch-out below.

  • Deadline claim: “No time limit on either phase,” current FAQ, 2 Step Pro and Standard.
  • Minimum trading days: 0 on 2 Step Pro; 3/phase on Standard (0 with the 3% add-on).
  • Inactivity window: 30 days, evaluation and funded (Master) alike.
  • Billing: One-time ($249 2 Step Pro at $50K; 2 Step Standard runs $349 with the 5% daily-loss configuration or $288 with the 3% add-on).
  • Watch out for: A Prime invite is “deemed automatically accepted”; declining can end the account, and unpaid Master profit converts into non-withdrawable Prime capital.
  • Trustpilot: 4.5/5 on 69,532 reviews. FundingPips profile, rules.

Lucid Trading’s evaluations are genuinely deadline-free

Verdict: Eleventh. LucidPro and LucidDaily pass cleanly; the eventual live move is the named watch-out.

  • Deadline claim: “One-time fee, no monthly rebilling, take as long as you need to pass,” current, all evaluations.
  • Minimum trading days: None published.
  • Inactivity window: 30 days, evaluation and funded alike, any idle account is permanently deleted.
  • Billing: One-time ($172 LucidPro Evaluation at $50K).
  • Watch out for: Funded accounts eventually face a discretionary, $0-start live move with no published decline option; sim profit does not carry over.
  • Trustpilot: 4.3/5 on 6,052 reviews. Lucid Trading payouts, status.

Tradeify’s Growth and Select Evaluations have no deadline

Verdict: Twelfth. Growth can pass in 1 day with no deadline; its live tier is the named watch-out below.

  • Deadline claim: “There is no time limit to complete a Growth or Select Evaluation,” current FAQ.
  • Minimum trading days: 1 (Growth); 3, consistency-forced (Select).
  • Inactivity window: 7 days (weekly trade requirement), evaluation and Sim Funded; 30 days once on Elite Live.
  • Billing: One-time (Growth $145 / Select $165 at $50K).
  • Watch out for: Once selected for Elite Live, the mandatory move closes every Sim Funded and evaluation account; profit since the last payout is lost.
  • Trustpilot: 4.4/5 on 4,918 reviews. Tradeify rules, status.

Topstep’s Trading Combine has no deadline, only a monthly rebill

Verdict: Thirteenth. The Combine can be passed in 2 days with no deadline; a live call-up is the named watch-out.

  • Deadline claim: “No time limit for passing,” current article, both Combine paths.
  • Minimum trading days: None fixed; effectively 2 via the 55% consistency cap.
  • Inactivity window: Not published at evaluation; 30 days once funded (XFA) and on the Live Funded Account.
  • Billing: Monthly ($49-$95, rebills every 30 days until pass or cancel).
  • Watch out for: The firm’s own disclosure says 0.71% of individual Express Funded Account participants in 2025 were called up to a non-declinable Live Funded Account; transferred balance is capped, with 80% held in Reserve.
  • Trustpilot: 3.6/5 on 14,874 reviews. Topstep rules, payouts.

Take Profit Trader’s Trading Test has no deadline, just a 3-day minimum

Verdict: Fourteenth. The Test passes cleanly on the deadline claim; a discretionary PRO+ move is the named watch-out.

  • Deadline claim: “There is no time limit to reach your profit target,” current article.
  • Minimum trading days: 3 trading days.
  • Inactivity window: Not published at the Test stage; 7 days (weekly) once funded on PRO and PRO+.
  • Billing: Monthly ($170, rebills until pass or cancel).
  • Watch out for: The move from sim PRO to live PRO+ is solely at the firm’s discretion, no published decline option; $5,000 of PRO profit is frozen while PRO+ is active.
  • Trustpilot: 4.4/5 on 10,749 reviews. Take Profit Trader rules.

Cautionary prop firms with no time limit

We grade a self-contradicting deadline, or a documentation conflict on the firm’s own max-loss floor, as a serious failure, same reason as our most trusted prop firms guide. A live call-up alone does not put a firm here, see the ranked firms above for six that carry one.

Apex Trader Funding is the confirmed opposite case, its evaluation hard-expires in 30 calendar days

Verdict: Cautionary, the exact disqualifying case this topic exists to catch.

The current 50K EOD Trail Evaluation ($590) expires automatically at 6:00 PM ET on Day 30 with no extension and no carryover; a failed or expired evaluation requires a brand-new purchase. Clearing that deadline only swaps it for a 30-day rolling inactivity-closure clock on the funded Performance Account (warning at day 15, closed at day 30), plus a discretionary, non-declinable move-to-Live clause. Trustpilot: 4.2/5 on 21,168 reviews. BestProps pages: Apex Trader Funding payouts, status.

Bulenox’s FAQ says there is no maximum number of trading days, but its own pricing page says the account expires in 30 days anyway

Verdict: Cautionary, a self-contradicting published deadline.

The FAQ answers “As long as you need. There is no minimum and no maximum number of trading days,” but the Momentum pricing card reads “$143 one-time | Access valid for 30 days,” and the Help Center’s Reset article adds “a reset does not extend your 30-day access period.” A discretionary live call-up after 3 payouts can also close a Master-level account with no sim-balance transfer if declined. Trustpilot: 4.7/5 on 1,801 reviews. BestProps pages: Bulenox rules, deals.

The5ers’ Bootcamp and Hyper Growth pass cleanly, but a separate size table carries a floor conflict

Verdict: Cautionary for a documentation conflict on a contrast product; the deadline claim itself passes cleanly.

Bootcamp and Hyper Growth both state “no time limit” with a flat 30-day inactivity window and no minimum-days rule at all. Bootcamp is a small $22 entry fee plus a $50 fee due only on passing ($72 total at $20K); Hyper Growth is a flat one-time fee from $260 to $850 depending on size. Neither rebills. The firm’s separate High Stakes product also has an unlimited evaluation period, but its own size table lists an 8% maximum loss for the same account while its own FAQ states 10%, a documentation conflict on the risk floor itself. Trustpilot: 4.7/5 on 38,859 reviews. BestProps pages: The5ers profile, rules.

Not ranked, a source gap pending a firm statement

Goat Funded Trader markets “Unlimited Trading Period,” but no page confirms or denies an actual deadline

Goat Funded Trader’s account configurator shows an “Unlimited Trading Period” badge, but no rules page, help-centre FAQ, or search for “time limit” or “deadline” states an evaluation deadline for 2 Step GOAT, or confirms its absence, marketing copy alone never passes this test. Instant HERO has no evaluation stage at all (it is funded immediately), and its floor is a trailing drawdown that moves up with equity, a separate trust issue unrelated to the deadline question. Both products carry the same firm-wide 30-day inactivity rule. Trustpilot: rating hidden (“breach of our guidelines” banner), 4,340 reviews. BestProps pages: Goat Funded Trader rules.
