We checked 18 prop firm listings (17 brands, with FundedNext’s forex and futures arms counted separately) for the size limit that applies on the first day of the funded account, not just on the evaluation card. Futures firms always publish a contract maximum, so a futures product passes only when the full maximum is there from day one funded with no scaling plan: DayTraders.com EOD 50K (10 minis at both stages, $55.00 per $1,000 of loss room), Tradeify Growth ($72.50), MyFundedFutures Builder ($76.50), FundedNext Futures Flex ($89.33), LucidPro ($96.00) and Top One Futures’ instant IGNITE ($199.00). Topstep, Apex, LucidFlex, Tradeify Select and Top One’s Elite plans start the funded account at a third to a half of the evaluation size. No forex product we checked is free of every size rule: seven have no fixed lot cap and limit size through margin or a rule against suddenly larger positions, led on cost by AquaFunded 2 Step Elite ($44.32) and FundedNext Stellar Lite ($57.50). FundingPips (20 lots per order) and Alpha Capital Group (20 lots once funded) fail the test.
