We checked 18 prop firms for what a one-time fee actually covers: how long the evaluation lasts, what keeps a “lifetime” account open, and whether anything is billed after funding. Ranked on what 90 days cost a trader who needs 60 days to pass, per $1,000 of loss room: futures leader DayTraders.com Static 50K ($55.00, $50 + $5, but only with four $200 profit days a month), then Tradeify Growth ($72.50), Lucid LucidFlex ($73.00), MyFundedFutures Builder ($76.50) and FundedNext Futures Flex ($89.33). Forex: FundedNext Stellar Lite ($57.50) and FTMO 1-Step ($71.62). Apex, Bulenox and FXIFY Futures Flex expire after 30 days, so a slow pass means paying twice (Apex $654.50). Lifetime means an account at Phidias, an activity quota at DayTraders.com, a subscription at Earn2Trade, and a coupon or add-on elsewhere. Earn2Trade, FTMO Futures and Topstep’s Combine still bill monthly.
