We checked 18 prop firms for one thing most Discord lists skip: whether the server is really the firm’s own. For each firm we took the invite from its own website, resolved it through Discord’s public invite page without joining, noted the server ID, its creation date, members and online on October 4, 2026, and read what the firm says the server is for. Sixteen pass and are ranked by cost per $1,000 of loss room: Blue Guardian 2 Step Nano $50K at $25.40 (Discord listed as a ticket channel), FundingPips 1 Step Flex at $44.83 (largest forex server, 254,616 members) and Topstep at $47.50 (role-linked server where toxic posts can cost the account) lead, and Apex Trader Funding is last at $359.50. Only FTMO and Ment Funding publish any fake-staff warning, every ranked firm bans group or coordinated trading, and reviewers describe removal after complaints at Goat Funded Trader (10), Alpha Capital Group (7) and Lucid Trading (7). Funded Futures Family links only dead invites; The Funded Trader’s site returned HTTP 402.

Freshness: checked October 4, 2026. Member counts move hourly and firms change links without notice; re-check the invite on the firm’s site before you join. Each Trustpilot figure carries the date we read it.

Quick answer on prop firms with Discord servers
Almost every prop firm runs a Discord, so the useful question is not whether a firm has one but whether the server you are about to join is the firm’s own, what it is for, and what the firm’s terms say about what you do there. Of the 18 firms we checked, 16 link a working official server from their own site and are ranked below, one links only dead invites and one could not be read at all.
- Support inside Discord, lowest cost: Blue Guardian 2 Step Nano $50K, $25.40 per $1,000. Lists Discord with live chat and email for tickets.
- Biggest forex server: FundingPips, 254,616 members on October 4, 2026; $44.83 per $1,000 on the 1 Step Flex.
- Most structured futures server: Topstep, roles linked to your account and coaching for verified members; $47.50 per $1,000 for one month.
- Clearest support boundary: Tradeify says Discord is a supplement to support and sends account issues to its chat; $72.50 per $1,000.
- Most active futures server: Lucid Trading, 24,670 members online when we checked, the most of any server read.
Every one of these servers is free to join. What costs money is the account the server sits beside, which is why the ranking runs on the price of loss room rather than member counts.
Prop firm Discord servers compared, read October 4, 2026
Rows are ranked by cost per $1,000 of loss room on each firm’s cheapest product on that measure. Members and online come from Discord’s public invite page for the firm’s own link, read between 13:25 and 13:51 UTC; the creation date is worked out from the server ID.

Notes on this ranking: * the firm does not name an activation or market-data fee, so the figure is the price alone and would rise if one is charged (for Alpha Futures it is the data fee that is unnamed). † one month of a monthly price; two months would make Topstep $95.00 and Alpha Futures $129.00, which would put both just above Ment Funding. ‡ FTMO prices in euros; €319 is converted at the ECB rate of 1.1225 (October 2, 2026), and a 1% euro move shifts the figure by about 72 cents, not enough to pass Tradeify at $72.50 unless the euro rises about 1.2%. DayTraders’ EOD product ties its Static product at $55.00, and FXIFY’s trailing Two Phase Standard ties its static Classic at $75.80; the static product ranks in both cases. Promo codes never set a rank; each firm’s section shows its code with the end date or “no end date shown”.

Verification level is the Discord setting each server uses: Low needs a verified email, Medium an account older than five minutes, High ten minutes of membership, and Highest a verified phone number. A rules screen means you must accept the server’s rules before posting. Removal reviews are Trustpilot reviews in the 12 months to October 4, 2026 describing removal, a ban or a block from the server, from the first page of each profile’s Discord search.
How we checked each prop firm Discord server

- The invite comes from the firm. We took every Discord link on the firm’s own domain or help centre: homepage, footer, contact page, help articles. Directory listings, search results and video descriptions were never used, and no invite code was guessed from a brand name.
- The invite resolves to one server. Each code was read through Discord’s public invite page on October 4, 2026 without joining, accepting rules or logging in. We noted the server ID, name, member and online counts, verification level and whether a rules screen applies. Every code a firm links must land on the same ID.
- The server’s age comes from its ID. A Discord server ID encodes the moment it was created, so a firm cannot backdate a server and a lookalike made last week shows last week’s date.
- What the server is for comes from the firm’s own words. Support inside Discord, community only, or not stated; fake-staff warnings; the group-trading clause; conduct rules that reach the account.
- Ranking runs on cost. Among firms that pass, the order is cost per $1,000 of loss room: list price plus any fee charged before the first funded trade, divided by the overall max-loss floor in dollars, times 1,000. Member counts, server age and support role are table columns, never ranking inputs.
Worked example: Blue Guardian’s 2 Step Nano costs $127 at $50,000 with a 10% static floor of $5,000, so $127 / $5,000 × 1,000 = $25.40. Apex’s 50K EOD account costs $590 plus a $129 activation fee over a $2,000 floor, so $719 / $2,000 × 1,000 = $359.50, about 14 times as much per dollar of room. A discretionary call to live is a watch-out in each firm’s section, never a reason to rank a firm lower.
How to tell a real prop firm Discord from a fake one

A Discord server can copy a firm’s name, logo, channel layout and even its staff names in an afternoon. Three checks catch almost every copy, and none needs you to join anything.
Start from the firm’s domain. Every server ranked here is linked from a page on the firm’s own site. Where that link sits varies: Topstep puts it in the menu and on every help page, FundingPips in a homepage widget, FTMO in five places from the homepage to a blog guide, Apex only in the footer of its help-desk ticket page. Discord directories that rank for searches like “prop firm discord” mix official servers with fan, reseller and copycat servers, and nothing on a directory card tells you which is which.
Check that every link lands on the same server. Several firms publish more than one invite code. Goat Funded Trader’s homepage and help centre use different codes; Tradeify’s main site and its Tradeify 247 site use different codes; MyFundedFutures uses a member-created code on its homepage and the server’s own named link in its help centre. In each case both codes land on the same server ID, which is what you want. A firm that links two servers should label them, as FundedNext does with its “CFDs Server” and “Futures Server” buttons.
Check the server’s age. The creation date follows from the server ID. FundingPips’ server dates from October 12, 2022, matching the “Est. Oct 2022” on its own widget. Apex’s from October 19, 2023, which is how we know a January 2026 Reddit claim that Apex deleted its Discord does not describe the server Apex links now. A server claiming to be a firm’s main room but created last month is not it.
Assume staff never message you first. Only two of the 18 firms publish anything close to that rule, and neither is about Discord. FTMO’s scam alert says “FTMO will never ask you to provide your password.” and warns that “anything that comes from other addresses than @ftmo.com should be handled very carefully”. Ment Funding’s terms cover phone calls only. Apex, Lucid Trading, Alpha Futures, DayTraders, MyFundedFutures and FundedNext have clauses that ban traders from impersonating staff or other people, which is a rule on you, not a warning to you. The other firms publish nothing at all, so the rule is yours to apply: no real moderator needs your password, a one-time code or a payment in a direct message.
Codes and giveaways are the usual bait. Tradeify’s help centre tells readers who saw a code on social media to “Visit tradeify.co directly for active discounts”. Goat Funded Trader advertises Discord-only discounts and giveaways, and Blue Guardian runs giveaway tickets in its server, which is exactly the traffic a fake server imitates. Our guide to prop firm giveaways checks which promotions each firm publishes on its own pages.
What you see before joining a prop firm Discord
Opening discord.com/invite/ followed by a firm’s code shows a preview without joining: the server name, sometimes who created the invite, and live online and member counts, followed by Discord’s sign-up form. That preview is enough to run every check in this guide. We never pressed accept.
Behind the preview, each server sets a verification level and may add a rules screen. Seven servers use Discord’s highest setting, which asks for a verified phone number: Alpha Futures, DayTraders, FTMO, FundingPips, Lucid Trading, Ment Funding and Tradeify. Apex and FundedNext’s forex server use the lowest. Twelve servers also make you accept their rules before posting, and FTMO keeps those rules in a channel you can only read after joining, so you agree to terms you have not seen.
Some servers add their own verification on top, tied to your trading account. “Unverified members can view most channels but can’t chat, engage, or access support and coaching.” FTMO’s guide says traders verify with their account number to get an FTMO Trader role, and FundingPips gives Prime traders a badge that opens private channels. These steps ask for your account email or number, which is reasonable inside the official server and a reason never to do it anywhere else.
The preview also shows who created an invite, which can surprise you. FundedNext’s and Goat Funded Trader’s homepage codes were created by individual members rather than the server’s own named link, and Alpha Capital Group’s and Alpha Futures’ invites were created by the same account. That does not make the server unofficial, because the firm itself publishes the code, but it is why the check is on the server ID and not on the code.
What each prop firm Discord server is for
Firms use Discord for the same reasons communities do: one place for announcements, rule changes, events and peer questions, with roles that separate funded traders from everyone else. What differs is how much weight the firm puts on it, and that is worth knowing before you rely on it.
- Notice board: FundedNext Futures sends traders to its Discord announcements to confirm a market holiday, Goat Funded Trader posts trading-parameter updates there, and FundingPips told a reviewer the server is the best place to catch rule changes in real time. If you never open the server, check the firm’s site and email for the same notices.
- Asset rooms: FXIFY lists separate chats for forex, gold, indices, stocks, oil and crypto on its homepage. FundedNext splits its forex and futures crowds into two servers. Most futures firms run one room for everyone.
- Coaching and live sessions: Topstep offers coaching to verified members and streams TopstepTV; MyFundedFutures streams MyFundedTV on YouTube every weekday; Lucid Trading says coaches are in its server. Not one of these is a structured course, and no firm here grades the advice members give each other.
- Perks: Goat Funded Trader advertises Discord-only discounts and giveaways, Tradeify runs competition updates and reward missions through it, and Blue Guardian issues giveaway accounts there.
- Payout posts: FXIFY lists a payout-proof channel, FTMO a profit-splits channel, MyFundedFutures “a live look at recent payouts”, and FundingPips’ widget shows a bot posting rewards. All are firm claims; see the payout section below.
The benefit is real but narrow: you see rule changes early, you can ask how a platform behaves, and you can read what other traders hit at payout time. The limit is that the room is moderated by the firm you are paying, and nothing in it is independent of that firm.
Prop firm support through Discord versus tickets
The single most useful fact about a firm’s server is whether the firm treats it as support. Four answers came back from the firms’ own pages.
- Discord is a named support channel: Ment Funding (tickets in the server, recommended over email), Blue Guardian (tickets, Discord and email), Alpha Capital Group (technical and KYC help), Alpha Futures (KYC help), Topstep (support and coaching for verified members) and MyFundedFutures (general and platform questions; account issues on live chat).
- Discord is community only, in writing: Tradeify (“a supplement to official support”), FTMO (contact through live chat, WhatsApp, email or phone), Goat Funded Trader (moderation kept apart from account decisions) and DayTraders (support on 24/7 live chat).
- Community only, from the page layout: FundingPips files Discord under “Our Community”, and FundedNext, FundedNext Futures and FXIFY list support channels that leave Discord out.
- Not stated: Lucid Trading and Apex Trader Funding say nothing about what their servers are for; both run support through tickets.
Even where Discord is a support channel, a ticket or email leaves a trail you control, and a chat thread does not if you are removed. That matters because removal after a complaint is the most common Discord theme in these firms’ reviews. Ten Goat Funded Trader reviewers in September 2026, seven at Alpha Capital Group and seven at Lucid Trading over the past year describe being kicked, banned or muted after raising an account problem in the server. Goat Funded Trader answered its reviewers and Alpha Futures answered all five of its own; Alpha Capital Group left six of seven unanswered and Lucid replied to none.
If you are removed, Topstep is the only firm that publishes a route back: contact support with your Discord username. Goat Funded Trader’s support told one reviewer it could not overrule a moderation decision. Lucid reviewers add that the chat widget closes while an account is under review, which left the server as their only open channel until they were removed from it.
Prop firm Discord size is not trust
Member counts are easy to inflate and easy to misread, so we set every firm’s own figure beside the dated count from Discord.
- Firms that understate: FundingPips’ widget said 220,057 members and its help centre 50,000+, against 254,616. Topstep’s “174,000 Strong” was below 190,872. FTMO’s “100K+” and FXIFY’s “40K+” were below 136,384 and 44,151.
- A widget that does not move: Lucid Trading’s homepage showed 193,505 members and 50,672 online on two consecutive days. The live count was 195,714 members and 24,670 online, so the online figure on the widget is about double the real one.
- A total that is not Discord: MyFundedFutures’ “315K+ Community members total” counts every channel; its Discord had 132,663.
- A superlative with no number: Alpha Futures calls its server the largest futures prop trading community at 41,791 members, below Lucid Trading, Topstep, Tradeify, MyFundedFutures and Apex on the same day. FundedNext’s server calls itself the biggest prop trading community and was 66 members behind FundingPips.
The share of members online is a better sign of a live room than the total. Lucid Trading (12.6%), DayTraders (12.7%), Alpha Futures (12.7%), Topstep (12.3%) and Apex (12.0%) had about one in eight members online; FundedNext’s forex server (3.2%), Ment Funding (3.1%) and Goat Funded Trader (3.1%) had about one in thirty. Neither figure says anything about how a firm treats payouts, which is why size never sets a rank here. Our most trusted prop firms guide ranks on dated payout and terms evidence instead.
Payout posts in a prop firm Discord are firm claims
Several firms advertise payout channels: FXIFY’s payout-proof channel, FTMO’s profit-splits channel, MyFundedFutures’ “live look at recent payouts”, Blue Guardian’s hub “for verified payout receipts and expert analysis”. Funded Futures Family’s homepage cards quote payout posts with “View On Discord” links that pointed at an expired invite on October 4, 2026.
Treat every one of these as a claim. The firm runs the server, chooses what stays up and can remove members who post the opposite. The Funded Trader shows how far a firm’s Discord can drift from its payouts: its CEO acknowledged in the server in March 2025 that “That doesn’t even include the backlogged payouts still being processed”, and by October 2026 its site returned HTTP 402. Our payout proof verification guide covers what credible payout proof looks like.
Trading teams, signal rooms and group-trading bans at prop firms with Discord
The most common reason people look for a prop firm Discord is to join a trading team: a group that calls entries and trades them together. Every ranked firm bans that in its own terms, and the wording leaves little room.
- Named outright: “Team trading, collaborative trading, group trading” (Tradeify), “Traders cannot group trade or coordinate trades with other traders, whether inside or outside FundedNext.” (FundedNext Futures), “Group trading, signal services, passing services, or any other methods that bypass individual strategy are not allowed.” (Ment Funding).
- Signals count as group trading: Alpha Capital Group and Goat Funded Trader both treat following signals or a trading group as prohibited, and Goat Funded Trader has refused payouts on that basis.
- Identical or opposite trades: Alpha Futures and MyFundedFutures use the same sentence, banning collaboration “to execute identical or opposite strategies across unconnected accounts”; Lucid Trading’s terms cover the same ground.
- The same bot: FXIFY counts two traders running the same EA from the same company as coordinated trading.
- Your own words in the room: DayTraders’ terms ban sharing trades and strategies with other users, even though its contact page pitches the server for exchanging strategies.
Tradeify’s risk FAQ draws the useful line: “Trade similarity alone does not establish coordination”. Reading a chat and taking your own trade is not group trading; entering on someone else’s call because they called it is. Selling or publishing your own calls is a separate question, covered in our guide to prop firms for signal providers, and our prop firm signals page explains how firms detect copied entries.
Free official prop firm Discord servers versus paid signal rooms
Every official server in this guide is free, and none requires an account purchase to join. Some channels are reserved: Topstep’s coaching and support need a linked account, FTMO’s trader role needs an active FTMO Account, and FundingPips’ Prime channels need a Prime account. The free level is still the full public room.
Paid trading Discords, the subscription rooms that rank for “prop firm discord server”, are a different product sold by third parties. They usually sell calls, alerts or a mentor’s live trading, and every firm ranked here bans trading those calls on a funded account. Paying for a room does not change the firm’s terms, so the subscription can cost you the account it was meant to help pass.
Joining a firm’s Discord is also not joining the firm. The evaluation, its price and its rules are the same whether you are in the server or not, and nothing in the server substitutes for reading the product page before you buy.
Prop firm Discord conduct rules that can cost you an account
Most firms moderate their servers like any community. A few go further and tie what you post to the trading account itself.
- Topstep: its Professional Behavior page lists “Creating a toxic or negative atmosphere in the Discord community” and “Publicly posting private correspondence” among behaviours that put your account at risk.
- FundedNext: Terms of Se
