Best Prop Firms That Accept PayPal, and the Ones That Pay Out to It

We checked 21 prop firms on their own pages for PayPal at checkout and PayPal payouts. Eleven take PayPal to buy an account, five pay out to it, and only Bulenox, AudaCity Capital and Take Profit Trader do both. FTMO (3%) and FundedNext (1%) are the only firms that publish a PayPal surcharge.

We checked 21 prop firms against their own help, terms and checkout pages (18 of them in full on October 4, 2026) and split PayPal into two questions: can you pay for the account with it, and will the firm pay you back to it. Eleven name PayPal at checkout, five name it for payouts, and only three do both: Bulenox (Momentum 50K, $143, no activation fee, no Bulenox transfer fee, $1,000 minimum payout, $63.56 per $1,000 of loss room), AudaCity Capital (Ability Challenge $50K, $329, payouts to a PayPal email from $20, $65.80) and Take Profit Trader (a $50 fee on wallet withdrawals of $250 or less and a payout denied if your PayPal details do not match, on a PRO floor that trails open profit). Only FTMO (3%, never pays rewards to PayPal) and FundedNext (1%) publish a PayPal surcharge. RebelsFunding’s RF Copper $40K buys the most loss room per PayPal dollar at $33.75 per $1,000, and FundingPips’ 2 Step Flex the widest static floor ($6,000 for $299). Lucid Trading takes cards only but pays out to PayPal through WorkMarket by ADP. Topstep says “PayPal is not supported,” and five firms that other lists name for PayPal fail both directions on their own pages.

Quick picks among prop firms that accept PayPal

  • Cheapest PayPal both ways: Bulenox Momentum 50K, Option 2, $143 one-time, no activation fee, $63.56 per $1,000 of loss room.
  • Smallest PayPal payout: AudaCity Capital, from $20 to a PayPal email, on a $5,000 static floor for $329.
  • Most loss room per PayPal dollar: RebelsFunding RF Copper $40K, $135 for a $4,000 static floor, $33.75 per $1,000.
  • Widest static floor bought with PayPal: FundingPips 2 Step Flex $50K, $299 for $6,000, $49.83 per $1,000.
  • Printed PayPal price: FTMO (3%) and FundedNext (1%) are the only firms here that publish one.
  • PayPal payouts without PayPal checkout: Lucid Trading LucidFlex 50K, paid through WorkMarket by ADP.

Why the sticker price misleads: FundedNext Futures’ Flex $50K is the cheapest checkout-only account at $133.99, yet it ranks last in that group at $89.33 per $1,000 because its floor is only $1,500. RebelsFunding’s $135 buys $4,000 of room.

Do both
  1. Two directions: checkout and payouts are tested separately on each firm’s own payment page, payout article, terms or checkout, read October 4, 2026. Logo strips, blog lists, directories and review sites are leads, never a pass.
  2. Real PayPal: PayPal must be its own option, not a card form run by a processor that carries the PayPal name. Where a help article and the live checkout disagree, the checkout wins.
  3. One product per firm: the product whose PayPal status we confirmed with the lowest cost per $1,000 of loss room, at $50K or the nearest size sold.
  4. Metric: (list price + PayPal surcharge + published activation fee + any published fixed fee on the first PayPal payout) / overall max-loss floor x 1,000. An unpublished fee is left out and marked, never assumed to be $0. FTMO’s euro price uses the ECB rate of 1.1225 dated October 2, 2026.
  5. Order: PayPal both ways first, then checkout only, then payouts only, each sorted by the metric. A product whose max-loss floor trails open profit intraday, or whose funded loss rules you cannot read before paying, is priced but not numbered.

A discretionary live call-up is a warning, not a ranking factor; where a firm has one, it is the first watch-out in its block. Tradeify’s two listings were checked on the same evidence as every other firm.

Notes on this ranking: Rows are grouped first (PayPal both ways, then checkout only, then payouts only) and sorted by cost per $1,000 of loss room inside each group, so a cheaper checkout-only account still sits below a firm that runs PayPal both ways. Cost per $1,000 = (list price + PayPal surcharge + published activation fee + any published fixed fee on the first PayPal payout) / overall max-loss floor x 1,000. * The firm publishes no PayPal surcharge, or no activation fee figure, so the figure uses the fees it does publish; an unpublished fee would raise it. † FTMO prices in euros: €319 converted at the ECB rate of 1.1225 dated October 2, 2026, plus its published 3% PayPal fee. A euro about 5.5% stronger would move it behind Crypto Fund Trader. Its floor trails end of day. ‡ The5ers’ $50K table shows an 8% max loss ($4,000) while its program FAQ says 10% ($5,000). We rank on the smaller floor; on the FAQ figure it would cost $49.80, a few cents ahead of FundingPips. § RebelsFunding sells no $50K account; $40K is its nearest size. Caution rows are priced but not numbered: Take Profit Trader’s PRO floor trails the intraday peak including open profit, and Trader2B keeps its funded loss limits in an agreement signed after you pass. Payouts-only firms show the card price, because PayPal is not offered (Lucid Trading) or not named (Trader2B) at checkout. Promo codes never set a rank: AudaCity’s automatic 14% OFF ($283, no end date shown) would be $56.60, RebelsFunding’s NEWREBEL ($81, no end date shown) $20.25, and FundedNext Futures’ FNFLEX ($69.99, no end date shown) $46.66.

PayPal at checkout vs PayPal payouts at prop firms

Prop firms that accept PayPal both ways: a solid arrow labelled Pay with PayPal into a box labelled Prop firm, and a dashed arrow labelled Get paid to PayPal coming out
Paying with PayPal and getting paid to PayPal are separate questions; most firms answer only the first.

Most “prop firms that accept PayPal” lists answer one question with one logo. The firms’ own pages answer two. Of the 11 firms here that take PayPal at checkout, 8 send rewards somewhere else: bank wire, crypto, Rise, Skrill, card or an in-house credit. FTMO says so in one line, listing its payout rails as bank wire, Visa Direct or Mastercard Send, Skrill and crypto. The5ers pays through Rise, crypto, bank or Hub Credits, and FundedNext through crypto, RiseWorks, bank, card or FNmarkets.

The other direction is rarer still. Five firms name PayPal for payouts, and two of them do not take it at checkout: Lucid Trading accepts cards only, and Trader2B publishes no payment method at all. If PayPal matters to you because you want the money back in PayPal, start with the payout list, not the checkout logos.

Our separate guide to verifying PayPal at checkout explains how to confirm the payment step itself; this guide adds the payout side and the cost.

What paying a prop firm with PayPal costs

Only two firms publish a PayPal surcharge, so for most rows the PayPal price is the list price plus an unknown. The table shows what each firm publishes; “Paid via PayPal” adds the surcharge only where a firm prints one.

FundedNext Futures Flex $50K$133.99 one-timeNot published$0 (none)$133.99 + surcharge$1,500, end of day$89.33*

Worked example: FTMO’s 1-Step $50K lists at €319. At the ECB rate of 1.1225 that is $358.08; PayPal adds 3%, or $10.74, for $368.82. A card, Apple Pay, Google Pay or Revolut Pay costs nothing extra, so the PayPal premium is the full $10.74. At FundedNext the 1% on Stellar Lite is $2.30. At Crypto Fund Trader and RebelsFunding the total did not change when PayPal was selected ($389.00 and 135 USD).

Monthly billing changes the sum. Take Profit Trader’s $50K test is $170 a month through PayPal’s recurring authorization, plus a $130 activation, so a two-month pass costs $470 before any surcharge. For more on total cost, see our cheapest prop firms and cheapest futures prop firms guides.

Getting paid to PayPal from a prop firm, name match, fees and holds

Five firms name PayPal for payouts, and each sets different terms. This table puts the route, fee, minimum, cap, clock and name rule side by side.

Three patterns matter more than the speed. First, the name: Take Profit Trader denies or holds a PayPal payout whose details do not match the registered user, and Bulenox delays transfers whose beneficiary details differ from your tax forms. Second, small payouts cost more: Take Profit Trader charges $50 on wallet withdrawals of $250 or less, and both Bulenox and Take Profit Trader say PayPal can take its own fee on top. Third, minimums range from AudaCity’s $20 to Bulenox’s $1,000.

One Take Profit Trader reviewer described a $179 payout where, after the 20% profit share, it was “$50 for cashing out under $250, $2 for PayPal. I ended up receiving $96” (Trustpilot, August 19, 2026). Withdrawing more than $250 at a time avoids the $50.

Speed is a separate topic, covered in our fastest payout prop firms guide.

Prop firms that accept PayPal both ways

Three firms take PayPal at checkout and pay out to it, on their own pages. Two are ranked; Take Profit Trader is priced but not numbered because its PRO floor trails open profit intraday.

Bulenox Momentum 50K runs PayPal both ways with no activation fee and no Bulenox payout fee

Bulenox is the cheapest firm in this guide that names PayPal on its own pages in both directions. Its help centre lists the ways to pay for an account as “Credit Card”, “Debit Card”, PayPal and crypto, and the Master Account withdrawal rules say “Payouts may be received through: ACH transfer / wire transfer; PayPal. Bulenox does not charge a transfer fee. However, the receiving bank, intermediary bank or PayPal may apply its own fees.” The PayPal payout sentence sits in the Master Account rules; the Momentum help section names no payout method, so for Momentum Master the PayPal route rests on the site FAQ, which says “Payouts are sent by ACH or wire transfer and by PayPal.”

The ranked product is Momentum 50K, Option 2: $143 one-time with “Access valid for 30 days”, an end-of-day drawdown of $2,250 and “Momentum Master included” with no activation fee. That works out to $143 / 2.25 = $63.56 per $1,000 of loss room. Option 1 sells at the same $143, but “Your loss limit follows your highest point”, open positions included, in real time, so pick Option 2. The older Qualification 50K route costs $175 plus a $148 activation fee, $129.20 per $1,000.

Getting paid takes paperwork. Bulenox wants a withdrawal information form with ID, and a W-9 (US) or W-8BEN (non-US) that “must be signed by hand. Electronic signatures cannot be accepted.” It also warns that “Incorrect or inconsistent information may delay the transfer.” On a Momentum Master $50K the first payout needs five qualifying profitable days, a $53,000 minimum balance and a $1,000 minimum request, and the first four payouts are capped at $1,500, $2,000, $2,500 and then $3,000. The split is 100% of the first $10,000, then 90%.

After three payouts Bulenox can move you to a funded account at its discretion, and “If you do not consent to the transition, the applicable Master Account will be closed and no additional Reward will be issued from that account.” The checkout’s payment step only appears after you create a member account, so we could not see the PayPal button itself.

Video: no official Bulenox video covers its PayPal checkout or payouts, and we do not substitute third-party videos.

  • PayPal at checkout: Yes, on its own help page; surcharge not published.
  • PayPal payouts: Yes, direct; no Bulenox fee; $1,000 minimum.
  • Cost per $1,000 of loss room: $63.56 on the Momentum 50K, Option 2 (end of day); ranked 1 of 11.
  • Choose it when: You trade futures, want PayPal both ways at the lowest entry price here, and can sign tax forms by hand before the first payout.
  • Watch out for: Call-up after three payouts; saying no closes the account.
  • Trustpilot: 4.7/5 on 1,800 reviews (read October 4, 2026). Bulenox profile.

AudaCity Capital pays out to a PayPal email from a $20 minimum on a static-floor two-step

AudaCity Capital has the lowest PayPal payout floor in this guide: “Minimum withdrawal amount is $20”, on every method. Its getting-started page answers both questions in one place: “All account purchases process securely through our payment portal for a seamless experience: Card Payments PayPal Cryptocurrency”, and “You can request profit withdrawals via these secure methods once KYC is complete: Bank Transfer (SWIFT/SEPA) PayPal Cryptocurrency (USDC via ETH network) Rise”. The dashboard sets PayPal up as an email payout destination.

The Ability Challenge $50K lists at $329 (the checkout opens in pounds, £248, and an automatic 14% OFF shows $283 with no end date). Phase 1 allows 15% ($7,500), but Phase 2 and the Live phase tighten to a 10% static floor of $5,000, so $329 / 5 = $65.80 per $1,000. Neither a PayPal surcharge nor an activation fee is published, which is why the figure carries a mark. Ability One ($399, $3,000 floor) costs $133.00 per $1,000 and the instant FTP ($1,299, $5,000 floor) $259.80.

Two AudaCity pages give different payout clocks: “Processing takes up to 2-3 working days” on one, “3-5 business days upon the review of the account” on the other. The challenge fee comes back “along with your first payout from trading on a live account”, as long as that payout exceeds the fee. One clause matters for anyone paying by PayPal: terms clause 3.3 says “The customer is not entitled to open a dispute for the paid fee with the Customer’s bank or payment service provider”.

The 5% daily limit is checked on equity against the rollover level, and no trade may open within 3 minutes of high-impact news. The split is 75% below 10% profit and 85% above it, up to 90% with scaling.

  • PayPal at checkout: Yes, listed beside cards and crypto; surcharge not published.
  • PayPal payouts: Yes, to a PayPal email; $20 minimum.
  • Cost per $1,000 of loss room: $65.80 on the Ability Challenge $50K; ranked 2 of 11.
  • Choose it when: You trade forex, want small PayPal withdrawals from $20, and can live with no published PayPal fee in either direction.
  • Watch out for: Terms bar disputes over the fee with your payment provider.

Take Profit Trader pays to PayPal from day one, but only in your registered name and on a trailing PRO floor

Take Profit Trader is the most explicit firm here on how PayPal works in both directions, and the strictest on whose PayPal it pays. Its payment article says “There are three ways you can pay for anything at Take Profit Trader. 1. Debit/Credit card 2. Paypal 3. Your built in wallet”, and for a subscription “you are authorizing Take Profit Trader to charge your account every 30 days”. You cancel inside the Control Center, not in PayPal.

Payouts leave the PRO account for the TPT wallet, then go to Plaid, PayPal or Wise. The rule to read twice: “If the information provided for a Wise or PayPal payout does not match the details of the user registered at TakeProfitTrader.com, the payout will be delayed for review or denied.” Small withdrawals cost extra: “If you request a withdrawal of $250 or less from your wallet, you will be charged a $50 withdrawal fee.” PayPal’s own fees come out too: “These will be deducted from the withdrawal amounts.” A $200 withdrawal therefore lands as $150 before PayPal’s cut, while $300 carries no TPT fee at all.

Admin approval can take up to 12 business hours, and then “Wise and PayPal payouts will be processed within 12 business hours, but usually a lot sooner than that.” A first withdrawal by a new method asks you to sign a tax form.

The reason this row is priced but not numbered: in PRO, “The Trailing Drawdown is calculated intraday using your peak balance, which includes realized gains and unrealized gains”. The $50K test costs $170 a month plus a $130 PRO activation, so one month is ($170 + $130) / 2 = $150.00 per $1,000 and two months $235.00. Nothing is withdrawable at 80% until the 50K PRO passes its $52,000 buffer, and a discretionary PRO+ move freezes $5,000 of PRO profit.
