Read the full summary

We read the terms, privacy policies and help pages of 20 prop firms on the points where a woman trader’s experience can differ, and no firm’s terms set a different price, rule or payout by gender. The real difference is your name: only two firms publish how you control whether it goes public, Topstep (an opt-out form; $47.50 per $1,000, monthly) and Alpha Capital Group (consent before any testimonial; $53.40 per $1,000, On-Demand price). E8 Markets ($49.80) and MyFundedFutures ($76.50) can use your results by default with no opt-out, and the other 16 publish no clause you can read before paying, led on cost by Blue Guardian at $25.40 (fee only). No candidate runs an open women-only programme; the one confirmed Women’s Day code, FXIFY’s WOMEN30, ended March 11, 2026. Only FundedNext and FundedNext Futures publish a name-change procedure, and the cheapest way in is The5ers’ $2,500 account at $19.

Freshness: terms, privacy policies and help pages read October 7 to 8, 2026; prices come from reads between October 5 and 7, 2026, and each Trustpilot figure carries its own date. Firms change terms without notice, so re-read the clause before you buy.

Quick picks among prop firms for women traders

  • Cheapest where you control publicity: Topstep Trading Combine $50K, $47.50 per $1,000, monthly. Its leaderboard names you by default, and a published request form stops it.
  • Asks before it uses your name: Alpha Capital Group Alpha Pro 10% 50K, $53.40 per $1,000, On-Demand price, on a static $5,000 floor.
  • Cheapest futures on our measure: Topstep again, the only futures firm in Group A. Among futures firms with no publicity clause, Lucid Trading LucidFlex 50K is $68.00 per $1,000.
  • Cheapest forex on our measure: E8 Markets E8 Pro 50K, $49.80 per $1,000, if a licence over your results data is acceptable; Blue Guardian 2 Step Nano $50K is $25.40 per $1,000, fee-only with no publicity clause at all.
  • Cheapest way in: The5ers High Stakes $2,500, $19 one-time on the New version.
  • Clearest name-change procedure: FundedNext and FundedNext Futures, one change before your ID check. No firm runs an open women-focused programme, so there is no pick for one.

Why this guide reads the terms first: page-one roundups for “prop firms for women” are general firm lists with women in the title, and none quotes a firm’s own rule. A prop firm sells the same evaluation to every buyer, so the honest test is what each firm’s own pages say where your experience can differ: whether it can put your name, face or payout in public, what happens when your legal name changes, and how its community rules treat harassment. We group firms by the first of those and rank by cost inside each group.

No clause
  1. The publicity clause, word for word. We searched each firm’s terms, privacy policy, payout, certificate, leaderboard and competition pages for anything that lets it publish your name, image, testimonial, results, payout or rank, and noted the exact sentence and its date.
  2. Three groups. Group A: the firm asks your consent first or publishes a way to opt out. Group B: the firm can use your name or results by default and publishes no way to refuse. Group C: no such clause is readable before you pay. A licence over material you choose to post never sets the group, and neither does a feature setting such as a nickname.
  3. The women checks. Women-focused offers and past Women’s Day codes on the firm’s own pages, the legal name-change procedure and payout name-match rule, community conduct rules, any figure the firm publishes about women traders, and any term that differs by gender.
  4. Cost per $1,000 of loss room inside each group: list price plus activation, divided by the smallest overall loss floor in dollars, at $50K. One product per firm, the cheapest on this measure that has no floor trailing open profit and no daily loss that ends a futures account.

Cost per $1,000 = (list price + activation fee) / smallest overall loss floor x 1,000

Worked example: Alpha Capital Group’s Alpha Pro 10% 50K costs $267 on the On-Demand schedule and its static floor is $5,000, so $267 / $5,000 x 1,000 = $53.40. Monthly products count one month and are marked. Where a firm publishes no activation fee we never assume zero; the figure is the fee alone and is marked fee-only. Euro prices convert at the ECB rate for October 2, 2026, 1.1225 dollars per euro. Promotions are shown with their code and end date but never set the rank. A discretionary move to a live account is the first watch-out, never a reason to drop a firm. Tradeify and every other firm faced the same tests. Firm pages were read October 7 to 8, 2026.

Notes on this ranking. Ranks 1 to 17 run through Group A, Group B and Group C in that order, and cost per $1,000 sorts each group; there are no ties. The three firms shown last are listed by the same measure but not numbered. Each mark in the cost column means this:

  • Monthly (Topstep, TradeDay, Take Profit Trader, Earn2Trade): the figure is one month of fee. Each extra month adds the fee again, so two months of Topstep is $190, or $95.00 per $1,000, and two months of TradeDay is $378, or $189.00.
  • Fee-only (Blue Guardian, FundingPips, FundedNext, Goat Funded Trader, ThinkCapital): the firm publishes no activation fee, so the figure is the challenge fee alone. Any activation fee would raise it: each $50 adds $10.00 per $1,000 on a $5,000 floor (Blue Guardian, Goat Funded Trader), $8.33 on FundingPips’ $6,000 floor and $12.50 on the $4,000 floors at FundedNext and ThinkCapital.
  • Euro price (FTMO, BrightFunded): the fee is charged in euros. FTMO’s €319 is $358.08 and BrightFunded’s €297 is $333.38 at 1.1225; the dollar figure moves with the exchange rate.
  • 8% floor (The5ers): its $50K table shows an 8% maximum loss, a program FAQ says 10%. We rank on the lower floor ($62.25); at 10% it would be $49.80 and move from ninth to sixth, just ahead of FundingPips’ $49.83.
  • On-Demand price (Alpha Capital Group): the $267 is the On-Demand payout schedule. The Bi-Weekly schedule is $297, or $59.40 per $1,000, which would still be second in Group A.

Read the two tables together. The lowest cost per $1,000 in the guide, Blue Guardian’s $25.40, sits fifth because it publishes nothing on publicity, while Topstep and Alpha Capital Group rank first and second because they tell you how to keep your name private. If publicity does not matter to you, sort Table B by cost alone: Blue Guardian, Topstep, E8 Markets and FundingPips are all under $50 per $1,000, and Apex Trader Funding is about 14 times Blue Guardian’s figure.

Do prop firms treat women traders differently

No. Not one of the 20 firms sets a different eligibility rule, price, trading rule or payout by gender in the terms, privacy policies and help pages we read. Ten firms never use the words gender or sex there. The other ten mention them only in passing:

  • A non-discrimination rule. FundingPips bars users from content that would “discriminate based on gender, sexual orientation, religion, ethnicity, race, age, national origin, or disability”, and Lucid Trading bars posts promoting discrimination “based on race, sex, religion, nationality, disability, sexual orientation, or age”.
  • A voluntary data field. Topstep and TradeDay use the same privacy wording: “Age, sex (including gender and gender identity). You can voluntarily provide us with this information.” E8 Markets lists gender among the data it may collect, FXIFY’s US privacy policy says “We also collect demographic information when you open an account, including gender, birth date, occupation and employment status.” and Blue Guardian lists sex under its protected-classification data category.
  • A profile setting. FundedNext and FundedNext Futures let you edit gender with your name before verification: “You can now update your name, country, date of birth, and gender directly in your dashboard before your KYC is approved.”
  • An identity field. ThinkCapital’s privacy policy lists gender, marital status and a maiden name among identity data.

No firm publishes how many of its traders are women, so we print no such figure. The nearest firm-published number is program-wide: MyFundedFutures’ disclaimer says “19.97% of all evaluation participants completed the required objectives”, with no split by gender. For context on the wider market, the FINRA Investor Education Foundation’s 2024 investor survey (published December 2025) reports that “Just over a third (34 percent) of the U.S. adult population have investments in stocks, bonds, mutual funds or other securities outside of retirement accounts.” Its chart puts that at 28% of women and 40% of men in 2024. That says who holds investments, nothing about how anyone trades, and every firm here sells the same rules to both.

Can a prop firm publish your name, face or payout

Prop firms for women traders and your public name: a profile card with three switches, Ask first, Opt out and No choice
Three answers a firm’s terms can give: it asks first, you can opt out, or you have no published choice.

Yes, at some firms, and how much say you get depends on wording most buyers never read. Prop firms market with real traders: payout certificates, leaderboards, testimonials, competition boards and “tag us” posts. Each one can put a name, a face or an amount in front of strangers. That matters more for some traders than others, and the data shows a gap. Pew Research Center’s survey of 10,093 U.S. adults, run September 8 to 13, 2020 and published January 13, 2021, found that “men are somewhat more likely than women to say they have experienced any form of harassment online (43% vs. 38%)”, but that women are “more likely than men to report having been sexually harassed online (16% vs. 5%)”, and “A third of women under 35 (33%) report having been sexually harassed online”. The clauses fall into five kinds:

  • Consent first. Alpha Capital Group: “Prior to posting a testimonial, we will obtain your consent to use your name and the content of the testimonial.”
  • Default with a published opt-out. Topstep can show your full name, username, location and performance on its leaderboard and TopstepTV, and “You can opt-out of any such future disclosures at any time by making a request at the following linked-to Request Form.”
  • Default with no way to refuse. E8 Markets licenses all data from your use of its platform “without further notice or consent”. MyFundedFutures may publish and republish your results and rank under your display name, while promising that no real names will be disclosed.
  • A licence over what you post. Seven firms (Topstep, FundedNext, FundedNext Futures, The5ers, Lucid Trading, Tradeify, TradeDay) take broad rights over comments, reviews or images you post on their sites. That covers what you choose to share, not your payout, so we do not group firms on it; we show it in every block.
  • Silence. The other firms publish no clause at all. Silence does not mean your name stays private: several show names anyway.

What the features show today, from the firms’ own pages:

  • Full names. FundedNext’s free monthly competition says “Real names, real amounts, rewarded on the day of certification.” Topstep’s leaderboard uses your first and last name unless you opt out. Goat Funded Trader’s payout tiles show first and sometimes full names.
  • Legal name, shared by you. The5ers certificates use the legal name on your verified profile, and you choose whether to post them.
  • First names and faces. Blue Guardian’s payouts page runs first-name video testimonials, and TradeDay and Take Profit Trader feature first names on their homepages.
  • First name and initial or a nickname. FTMO’s public leaderboard shows its top five that way; its community profile is private until you share it.
  • A chosen display name. Tradeify and MyFundedFutures rank traders under a name you pick, and Tradeify lets you hide even that.
  • Masked. Apex Trader Funding’s payout list shows the first two letters of a name, a country code and the amount.
  • Tag-us promotions. Tradeify’s rewards missions include posting its content and your trader card on social media; they are optional. Giveaways that require a public post work the same way: read what you must share before entering.

How to say no, where a route exists: Topstep’s privacy request form (and support for the Octagon, which costs its bonuses, or an alias); an email to Alpha Capital Group’s support to edit or delete a testimonial; Tradeify’s name toggle; FTMO’s private profile setting. FXIFY’s UK policy, BrightFunded’s privacy policy and Apex Trader Funding’s privacy policy also give a right to object, which you can use by writing to them. The free competitions at FundedNext, FundingPips and The5ers need you to register: if you do not enter, your name is not on those boards.

Prop firm programmes and discounts for women

No firm we checked runs a women-only or women-focused programme, scholarship, competition or community that is open today. Three firms feature women traders in their own content, with no offer attached: FundedNext’s official channel interviewed Mary Ochigbo on December 13, 2022, introducing her as “our first female guest”; Alpha Capital Group’s Trader Interviews page includes “How Doey Ragbourne Passed the Alpha Capital Evaluation & Mastered Scalping Gold” and a February 2026 interview with KayzFX; and Take Profit Trader’s homepage features a trader named Rica.

Past Women’s Day code, ended. FXIFY: “Women’s Day Offer”, code WOMEN30, 30% off, which expired on March 11, 2026. It ran on FXIFY’s homepage and pricing table (archived copy, March 12, 2026). The banner set no eligibility condition. It is not a current deal and did not set any price in this guide.

No other Women’s Day code is confirmed on a candidate firm’s own pages, and we print none from deal sites. Codes open to every buyer are listed in our prop firm discount codes guide, and free accounts and contests, including the ones that ask you to post publicly, are in prop firm giveaways and free account promotions.

When the name on your ID changes at a prop firm

Check this before you buy if you expect to marry, divorce or change your legal name for any reason. Every firm ties payouts to the name on your ID, and most publish no way to change it. Two firms publish a procedure, three say the name cannot change, and fifteen publish nothing.

Each firm’s published rule for a legal name change and the name-match rule for payouts.

FundedNext’s rule is the only full procedure: “You can only request a name change one time per account.” “You must upload a valid document and provide a reason for the change.” It applies before your ID check; after that, “your core identity fields are permanently locked”. FundedNext Futures uses the same rule. Topstep corrects typos but says “We cannot update a profile to reflect a completely different name”. Earn2Trade calls the name the account’s permanent owner, and Apex Trader Funding says the registered name “cannot be changed after setup”.

The name-match rules decide what happens at payout time. FundedNext lists “Using
