We checked 18 prop firms on October 5, 2026 for traders in Spain and ranked 14 standard forex and futures products by cost per $1,000 of loss room at $50K. Blue Guardian 2 Step Nano is cheapest at $25.40 on its fee alone, then Topstep at $47.50 ($95 a month), E8 Markets E8 Pro 10% at $49.80 with a euro bank payout through WorkMarket, FundingPips 2 Step Flex at $49.83, which names Spain for local bank transfers, and Alpha Capital Group Alpha Pro 10% at $53.40, which names Spain at checkout. No firm excludes Spain, none claims CNMV authorisation, and neither CNMV warning list names any of them. Only FTMO and BrightFunded charge in euros, BrightFunded and E8 Markets publish euro bank payouts, Maven pays Spain only through Rise, and Rise lists Spain for euro withdrawals at $10. Alpha Futures and Apex Trader Funding sit in a warning group, and Darwinex Zero is a different model. Euro figures use the October 2, 2026 ECB rate of 1.1225.

Quick answer and the top five prop firms in Spain

Spain is an easy country for prop firms: none of the 18 firms checked names Spain as excluded, and every standard product we priced can be bought by a Spanish resident. The differences are in how firmly the firm says yes, what CNMV’s warning lists show, and whether a payout can reach a Spanish bank in euros. Ranked on what you pay for each $1,000 the account can lose, these five come first:

  1. Blue Guardian 2 Step Nano: $25.40 per $1,000. Price $127 (about €113.14); floor $5,000, static, both stages.
  2. Topstep Trading Combine, No Activation Fee: $47.50 per $1,000. Price $95/month (about €84.63); floor $2,000, end-of-day trailing.
  3. E8 Markets E8 Pro 10%: $49.80 per $1,000. Price $249 (about €221.83); floor $5,000, static, both stages.
  4. FundingPips 2 Step Flex: $49.83 per $1,000. Price $299 (about €266.37); floor $6,000, static (12%), all stages.
  5. Alpha Capital Group Alpha Pro 10%: $53.40 per $1,000. Price $267 (about €237.86); floor $5,000, static, both stages.

Blue Guardian’s lead depends on an activation fee it does not publish either way, and FundingPips’ figure is fee-only too. On fully published prices the lowest are Topstep for futures and E8 Markets for forex. If you want Spain named rather than merely missing from a list, Alpha Capital Group names it at checkout, while FundingPips and Maven Trading name it on their payout pages, for very different payouts. For the same checks across all 27 EU states, see our guide to the best prop firms for traders in Europe.

What a prop firm is for traders in Spain

A prop firm, in the sense these 18 firms use the word, sells you an evaluation on a simulated account. You trade to a profit target without touching a daily or overall loss limit; pass, and you trade a funded account that is usually still simulated, and the firm pays you a share of the simulated profit, typically 80% to 90%. That is different from a broker, which holds your own money in a real account, and from a traditional proprietary trading desk that hires traders to trade the firm’s own capital. For the basics, see what a prop firm is.

  • For: your loss is capped at the fee, you can trade a $50,000 account for $95 to $379, and most firms here pay 80% or more of profit.
  • Against: most buyers never reach a payout, a broken daily limit ends the account at once, the funded account is simulated, and several firms keep a discretionary live move or a right to refuse funded status.

Every ranked firm describes its funded accounts as simulated or demo. FTMO says its traders trade with simulated capital only, Maven says all trading is simulated with virtual funds, and For Traders calls its accounts demo accounts with virtual money. A few keep a live stage behind a discretionary move, covered in each firm’s section below.

Are prop firms regulated in Spain, and what the CNMV lists show

Spain has no licence written for prop firms. The Comisión Nacional del Mercado de Valores, the CNMV, authorises investment firms and publishes two warning lists on cnmv.es: entities it warns are not authorised to provide investment services in Spain, and warnings it relays from foreign regulators. We copied both in full on October 5, 2026: 3,683 entries on the first list, dated May 19, 2003 to October 5, 2026, and 5,397 relayed warnings dated January 12, 2022 to September 30, 2026. Then we searched them for every firm in this guide, every domain it uses, its group brand and the registered company names in its terms, and re-checked the newest page of each list the same day.

Firms searched

None of them names any firm in this guide. A few entries share part of a name, and they are worth knowing so they are not confused with the firms ranked here:

  • Alpha Capital, September 4, 2023: CNMV lists capital-alpha.co under the name “ALPHA CAPITAL (CLON)” and states that it “NO GUARDA RELACIÓN CON ALPHA CAPITAL MANAGEMENT GROUP, EAF, S.L. (WWW.ALPHAGROUP.ES)”, that is, it has no relation to that Spanish financial advisory firm. CLON is Spanish for clone. Alpha Capital Group trades from alphacapitalgroup.uk, a different domain, and nothing published links the two.
  • Alpha Capital, June 19, 2023: an entry for alphacapg.com, under a Mexican company name. Different domain and different company from Alpha Capital Group.
  • Darwinex IT, March 4, 2026: a warning CNMV relayed from Italy’s CONSOB about darwinexitltd.com: “LA CONSOB ORDENA A LOS OPERADORES DE INTERNET EL BLOQUEO DE ACCESO DESDE ITALIA”, an order blocking access from Italy to sites offering unauthorised investment services. That domain is not Darwinex Zero’s, and nothing published links them.
  • Apex: 25 entries contain the word apex, and none names Apex Trader Funding or its domain.

Read any entry yourself if a name looks close. A CNMV warning would be shown here as a dated warning beside the firm, not as a reason to drop it, and we do not call any firm legal or illegal.

Authorisation is a separate question from the warning lists. None of the 18 firms claims CNMV authorisation for its prop program, and two say plainly that they have none: Alpha Futures’ Spain page says it is “not CNMV-supervised live dealing”, and Darwinex Zero says its services are “not subject to financial regulation”. Some firms cite other licences that do not cover the prop program in Spain: FXIFY’s footer names a Mauritius-licensed group company, FundingPips names a Comoros licence while saying it does not offer real trading accounts on its site, and Tradeify’s agreement names a US-registered introducing broker. For firms that do hold a licence somewhere, see our guide to regulated prop firms, and for the same checks against the FCA register, the best prop firms for UK traders.

Which prop firms accept traders in Spain

We read each firm’s own restricted-countries page, terms, help article or checkout for Spain and for the Canary Islands, Ceuta, Melilla and the Balearic Islands. No firm restricts any of those territories. Three groups come out:

  • Spain named as accepted: Alpha Capital Group lists Spain in its checkout country menu, and Alpha Futures, in the warning group, publishes a page saying “Spain is eligible.”
  • Missing from a named list with no “including” wording: Topstep, E8 Markets, Maven Trading, FundedNext, Goat Funded Trader, The5ers, BrightFunded, For Traders, FTMO, Tradeify and Tradeify 247.
  • Missing from a list worded “include” or “including”: Blue Guardian, FundingPips and FXIFY. They rank, but their wording leaves room for a country they have not named.

Two firms name Spain on their payout pages instead of their country lists: FundingPips for a local bank transfer, and Maven Trading as a country it pays only through Rise. Both are covered in the payout section below.

Spain’s neighbours fare differently, which is why a country check beats a Europe-wide one. Andorra is on Tradeify’s restricted list, Germany, Iceland and Monaco are on Topstep’s Express-only table, and Alpha Futures restricts Bulgaria, Croatia, Romania and Slovenia while naming Spain eligible. Each firm also tests something different, which matters if you are a Spanish citizen living abroad or a foreign resident in Spain:

How prop firm payouts reach a Spanish bank in euros

How prop firms pay traders in Spain: an outline map of Spain with a payout arrow into a bank marked with the euro sign
Prop firm payout to a Spanish bank: the leg that turns dollars into euros.

No firm checked names SEPA or Bizum for payouts. Two challenge firms publish a euro bank payout that reaches Spain: BrightFunded says bank transfers are processed in euros, and E8 Markets pays through WorkMarket, whose own fee page lists Spain for a euro bank-account transfer at €1.75 plus 2-3% conversion. Darwinex Zero, a subscription rather than a challenge, also pays in euros with a €100 minimum. FundingPips names Spain for a local bank transfer without saying in what currency. Most of the others pay into Rise, whose help page lists Spain for euro withdrawals to a local bank at $10 within two business days, with the conversion done by Rise.

Maven Trading is the clearest case of a Spain-specific limit: it lists Spain among countries that can only be paid through Rise, at $20 a withdrawal before Rise’s own $10. Goat Funded Trader’s bank transfer covers eight African countries only, and Topstep’s Wise route covers China, Canada and the UK, so Spanish traders at both use other rails. Fees add up before the conversion: Blue Guardian and Goat Funded Trader take 3% of every payout, The5ers 3.5%, FundedNext a provider fee of up to 3.5%, Topstep $30 per wire, Maven $20 and For Traders $50 per Rise transfer from $400. FTMO, BrightFunded and E8 Markets charge no fee of their own. For how each rail works across firms, see prop firms that pay by wire, bank, Rise, Deel or Wise.

A worked example: a $2,000 payout through Rise at a firm with no fee of its own arrives as about €1,781.74 at the October 2 rate, less Rise’s $10 and whatever margin Rise builds into the conversion. The same payout at a firm that takes 3% first loses $60 before Rise sees it. Paying in is a separate question. FTMO and BrightFunded charge in euros, FundedNext names an instant bank transfer from Spain for paying, and FundingPips can show euros but charges in dollars. Everyone else prices in US dollars, so your card issuer converts.

Traders elsewhere in the eurozone face the same euro payout leg but a different regulator and a different set of country lists. We ran the same checks in our guides for traders in Germany, traders in France and traders in Italy.

  1. Read each firm’s own restricted-countries page, terms, help article or checkout for Spain, product by product, and note whether the list is called complete.
  2. Treat a brand’s forex, futures and crypto arms as separate listings, and keep crypto-only products in their own table.
  3. Price every $50K variant at list price, add any activation fee, and convert euro prices at the October 2, 2026 ECB rate; codes go in the firm notes only.
  4. Divide by the smallest overall loss limit in dollars at any stage, never a daily limit or a per-asset rule, and multiply by 1,000.

Lower is better. A $2,000 floor at $95 and a $5,000 floor at $249 both cost under $50 for each $1,000 you are allowed to lose, which is the comparison that matters if you expect to buy more than once.

Notes on this ranking: Cost per $1,000 is the list price of the firm’s cheapest $50,000 product that a resident of Spain can buy, plus any activation fee, divided by the smallest overall loss limit in dollars at any stage, times 1,000. Daily loss limits, per-asset and per-position rules (Alpha Capital Group’s 2% Max Risk Rule, For Traders’ 2% Drawdown Protection, Goat Funded Trader’s Goat Guard) are not used; they are named as watch-outs. Euro figures convert at the European Central Bank reference rate of October 2, 2026, EUR/USD 1.1225; your card or bank rate will differ. Only FTMO and BrightFunded charge in euros. “Via Rise” means the firm pays into Rise, whose own help page lists Spain for euro withdrawals to a local bank at $10. The CNMV column covers both CNMV warning lists, copied in full and re-checked on October 5, 2026. Ties share a rank. a Blue Guardian publishes no activation fee for 2 Step Nano and does not say there is none, so $127 is the evaluation fee alone; an activation fee above $110.50 would drop it below Topstep. Its restricted list is introduced with the word “include”, so Spain is missing from a list the firm does not call complete. b Monthly billing: the figure covers one 30-day cycle. A second month at $95 would make it $95.00 per $1,000, behind every product in this table. c FundingPips publishes no activation or Master fee either way, so $299 is the evaluation fee alone; a fee above $21.40 would drop it below Alpha Capital Group. Its footer bars residents of “certain jurisdictions, including” sanctions and FATF lists; Spain is on neither FATF list dated June 19, 2026. d Maven Trading shows no activation line and does not state that there is none, so $220 is the evaluation fee alone; a fee above $10.00 would drop it below FundedNext. Spain is named on its payout page, as a country paid only through Rise; its restricted list in the footer leaves Spain off. e FundedNext does not name an activation fee for Stellar Lite and does not say there is none; a fee above $16.41 would drop it below Goat Funded Trader. f Goat Funded Trader’s checkout total equals the product price and shows no activation line, but the firm never states the fee is $0; a fee of $3.25 or more would put it level with or behind The5ers. g The5ers’ High Stakes $50K size table shows an 8% overall loss ($4,000) while its FAQ says 10% ($5,000). We rank on the tighter figure; on the FAQ figure it would be $49.80 and tie E8 Markets for third. Its Pro Growth $50K has no such conflict and works out at $109.67. h BrightFunded prices in euros: €297 x 1.1225 = $333.38, so $333.38 / $5,000 x 1,000 = $66.68. A 6.6% fall in the euro would put it ahead of The5ers, and a 2.9% rise would put it behind For Traders. i FTMO prices in euros: €319 x 1.1225 = $358.08. Tradeify is only 1.2% dearer, so a move of that size in the euro would swap them. FTMO’s 2-Step Challenge (€345, about $387.26, static floor, fee refunded with the first reward) works out at $77.45. j FXIFY’s footer list is worded “including” and adds any country where use would be against local law, so Spain’s absence is not a written acceptance.
