We checked 23 prop firms against 32 Asian countries in their own words and ranked 20 forex, futures and crypto products by cost per $1,000 of loss room at $50K. Only one is open in all 22 core countries: Maven Trading Standard 2-Step at $55.00 (activation fee not published). Every other product misses at least one: Blue Guardian 2 Step Nano is the cheapest at $25.40 (fee-only; bars the Philippines and Vietnam), then Topstep ($47.50 a month, futures), E8 Markets, FundingPips and Alpha Capital Group. Vietnam is the hardest core country (open at only 6 ranked products), US futures firms bar much of South and Southeast Asia, and local-currency payouts exist in 13 core countries via Rise plus Taiwan via WorkMarket. Regulator entries in India and Indonesia name five firms’ own domains; ThinkCapital, Apex Trader Funding and Take Profit Trader are checked but not ranked.

Checked: firm prices and rules read October 2 to 7, 2026, and country lists, payment and payout pages, the FATF lists and the regulator searches on October 7, 2026. Firms change prices, codes and country lists without notice, so confirm on the firm’s own page before paying. Each Trustpilot figure shows its own read date.

Quick answer and the best prop firms for traders in Asia

Asia is not one market for prop firms. We read every firm’s own list for 32 countries, 22 of them in the core, and ranked each firm’s best $50,000 product on what you pay for each $1,000 the account can lose: first the products open in all 22 core countries, then the rest, cheapest first. One product clears the first bar, and the cheapest options with a gap or two follow:

  1. Maven Trading Standard 2-Step: $55.00 per $1,000. Price $220; floor $4,000, static; all 22 open.
  2. Blue Guardian 2 Step Nano: $25.40 per $1,000. Price $127; floor $5,000, static; 20 open; Philippines, Vietnam barred.
  3. Topstep Trading Combine, No Activation Fee: $47.50 per $1,000. Price $95/month; floor $2,000, end-of-day trailing; 21 open; Pakistan barred; 5 with no Live stage.
  4. E8 Markets E8 Pro 10%: $49.80 per $1,000. Price $249; floor $5,000, static; 20 open; Pakistan barred; Indonesia entry.
  5. FundingPips 2 Step Flex: $49.83 per $1,000. Price $299; floor $6,000, static (12%); 19 open; Vietnam barred; Laos, Nepal unclear.

Maven Trading’s and Blue Guardian’s figures rest on activation fees they do not publish either way, and Topstep bills monthly. If you live in one of the 12 countries with their own guide, start with the lookup table below, which links each one; this guide gives each of them one row and covers the other 10 core markets, the wider region and the cross-border questions in full.

Asia is not one market for prop firms, and the lists show it

Directories say firms “accept Asian traders” or work with residents of all countries. The firms’ own lists split the region three ways. First, by market: 13 of the 16 forex and crypto products ranked here are open in at least 19 of the 22 core countries, while the US futures firms bar large parts of South and Southeast Asia. My Funded Futures bars 12 core countries, Tradeify nine and Take Profit Trader seven; only Topstep, open in 21, sells futures almost everywhere.

Second, by country. Vietnam is the hardest core market: only 6 of the 20 ranked products are open there, because most forex firms bar it by name and it sits on FATF’s grey list with Laos and Nepal. Indonesia (12), Pakistan (13), Laos (13) and Malaysia (15) come next. At the other end, all 20 are open in Japan, the Maldives and Brunei, and 19 in Singapore, Thailand, South Korea and Macau. India’s RBI Alert List and Indonesia’s Bappebti block lists are the regulator exceptions. Third, by money: getting paid in your own currency is possible in 13 core countries through the payout processor Rise, and Taiwan adds a wire row through E8 Markets’ WorkMarket. Mainland China, Macau, Mongolia, Sri Lanka, the Maldives, Cambodia, Laos and Brunei have no local-currency route at any firm here.

What a prop firm is for Asian traders, and how the business works

A prop firm sells you an evaluation on a simulated account. You trade to a profit target without breaking a daily or overall loss limit; pass, and you get a funded account, usually still simulated, and the firm pays you a share of the simulated profit, typically 80% to 90%. That is different from a broker account, where your own money sits in a real account and every loss is yours. With a prop firm the most you can lose is the fee, and the firm decides whether to pay under its own terms. For the basics, see what a prop firm is.

  • For: your loss is capped at the fee, a $50,000 account costs $95 to $379 here, most firms pay 80% or more of profit, 13 core countries can be paid in local currency through Rise, and FundedNext takes QRIS, DANA and OVO in Indonesia.
  • Against: most buyers never reach a payout, a broken daily limit ends most forex accounts at once, funded accounts are mostly simulated, payouts outside 14 countries arrive in dollars, euros or crypto, and US futures firms bar much of the region.

Most firms here describe funded accounts as simulated or demo. “Although FTMO Traders trade with simulated capital only, they are entitled to receive a Reward in the form of real money”, FTMO says, and E8 Markets, Blue Guardian, BrightFunded, HyroTrader and AquaFunded say much the same. The firms are companies registered outside the region, in the UK, the Czech Republic, the UAE, Saint Lucia, the US and elsewhere (Goat Funded Trader’s operator is a Hong Kong company), and none of the pages we read claims a licence from an Asian regulator for its evaluations.

How we checked prop firms for Asia

How we ranked the best prop firms for traders in Asia, from each firm’s own country list and price to the overall loss limit
The checks behind every ranking in this guide.
  1. Read each firm’s own restricted or accepted-countries page, terms, help articles and, where it loads, the checkout country list, product by product, in Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Vietnamese, Thai, Indonesian and Hindi where the firm has those pages, and read every list to the end for 32 countries.
  2. Give each country one status per product: named as accepted, not listed on a closed list, not listed on an open-ended list (“including” or “include”), barred, or a narrower limit such as no Live stage, a product carve-out, a FATF or sanctions clause that may reach it, two firm pages that disagree, or a regulator entry in that country naming the firm’s own domain.
  3. Note what each list tests: residence, citizenship, the country on your ID or where you are, plus any route the firm publishes for nationals living elsewhere.
  4. Price every $50K variant at list price, add any activation fee, divide by the smallest overall loss limit at any stage (never a daily limit or a per-trade rule), and multiply by 1,000. Codes go in the firm notes only.
  5. Rank one product per firm: the cheapest among those open in the most core countries. Band A is open on the promised funded stage in all 22 core countries; Band B names where it is not.
  6. Note pay-in methods named per country, payout routes that reach an Asian bank and their fees, Asian-language support, live-stage terms, Trustpilot, the country guides’ regulator checks and our own searches of Hong Kong, Taiwan, China, Korea and Sri Lanka regulators.

The 22 core countries are India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Indonesia, the Philippines, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, Japan and South Korea, which have their own BestProps guides, plus mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan, Mongolia, Nepal, the Maldives, Cambodia, Laos and Brunei. Bhutan, Timor-Leste and the five Central Asian states are shown in every table but do not decide a band, and neither do Afghanistan, Myanmar and North Korea, which nearly every firm bars. The Gulf, Israel, Turkey and Iran, Russia, and Australia and New Zealand have their own guides, linked at the end.

Prop firms for Asia ranked by cost per $1,000 of loss room

Lower is better. A $2,000 floor at $95 and a $5,000 floor at $249 both cost under $50 for each $1,000 you are allowed to lose, which is the comparison that matters if you expect to buy more than once. Band A first, then Band B, cheapest first; the coverage column names the core countries a product is not open in.

Notes on this ranking: Cost per $1,000 is the list price of the firm’s cheapest $50,000 product among those open in the most core countries, plus any activation fee, divided by the smallest overall loss limit at any stage, times 1,000. Band A products are open on the promised funded stage in all 22 core countries; Band B products are not open in at least one, and the coverage column names the gaps. A country is not counted as open where the firm bars it, where a FATF or sanctions clause may reach it, where two firm pages disagree, or where a regulator in that country lists the firm’s own domain. Daily loss limits and per-trade rules are not used; they are named as watch-outs. a Maven Trading shows no activation fee on its cards and does not say there is none, so $220 is the evaluation fee alone. It is the only product open in all 22 core countries, so no other product shares its band. Its +10% drawdown add-on ($275 for $5,000) works out at the same $55.00. b Blue Guardian publishes no activation fee after passing either way, so $127 is the evaluation fee alone; a fee above $110.50 would drop it below Topstep. c Monthly billing: Topstep’s figure covers one 30-day cycle. A second month at $95 would make it $95.00 per $1,000. d FundingPips publishes no activation or Master fee either way, so $299 is the evaluation fee alone; a fee above $21.40 would drop it below Alpha Capital Group. e Alpha Capital Group’s $267 is its on-demand payout price; the bi-weekly schedule costs $297, $59.40 per $1,000. Its checkout data still marks this plan unpublished while the checkout sells it. f FundedNext does not name an activation fee for Stellar Lite and does not say there is none; a fee above $16.41 would drop it below Goat Funded Trader. g Goat Funded Trader’s checkout total equals the product price, and no separate activation fee is published either way; a fee above $3.25 would drop it below The5ers. h The5ers’ High Stakes $50K size table shows an 8% overall loss ($4,000), while smaller sizes and its FAQ wording give 10%. We rank on the tighter figure; at 10% it would be $49.80. i Fintokei publishes no activation line either way; a fee above $4.40 would drop it below BrightFunded. j BrightFunded and FTMO state their fees in euros, converted at the European Central Bank rate of October 2, 2026, EUR/USD 1.1225: €297 = $333.38 and €319 = $358.08. k FTMO’s 2-Step Challenge (€345, about $387.26, static floor, fee refunded with the first reward) works out at $77.45. l FXIFY and HyroTrader tie at $75.80; FXIFY is listed first because it is open in more core countries (21 against 19). m HyroTrader’s $379 is a deposit it returns with the first payout. n AquaFunded publishes no separate activation fee either way. Instant Funding Standard is ranked because it is the product open in the most core countries; in the 15 where its 2 Step Elite is also sold, that product works out at $44.32 on its fee alone.

Notes on this table: “Rise” means the payout processor, not the firm, publishes the local-currency row: Rise lists 13 core Asian countries plus Kazakhstan at $10 a withdrawal, and cannot serve Afghanistan, Myanmar or North Korea. WorkMarket rows apply to E8 Markets only. The regulator column combines the country guides’ checks with our searches of October 7, 2026, described in the regulator section. Pay-in methods are listed only where the firm names them for an Asian country.

Which prop firms accept traders in each Asian country, product by product

Every product we checked, against all 32 countries, in the firms’ own words. “Named” means the firm lists the country as accepted; “Not listed” means it is absent from a list the firm presents as closed; “Open-ended list” means it is absent from a list worded “including” or “include”, which still leaves room for an unnamed bar. “Barred” means the firm names the country. “Live limited” means buying, trading and simulated payouts are open but a later live step is not, or is reviewed first. “Instant only”, “BOLT only” and “E8 One limited” mean a product carve-out. “Unclear clause” means a FATF or sanctions clause that names no country may reach it. “Regulator entry” means a regulator in that country lists the firm’s own domain. “Pages disagree” means two current firm pages say opposite things.
