We ran the same winning month through the payout rules of 16 prop firms at $50K: a $2,500 day followed by 19 days of $250 ($7,250), plus a steady $350-a-day month ($7,000) beside it, counting only the cash each firm’s own rules let you take out by funded trading day 20, minus the list cost to get funded once. FundedNext Stellar Lite On-Demand with the 95% add-on pays $6,646.44 ($6,347.45 after its $298.99 cost), Alpha Capital Group Alpha Pro 6% pays $6,525.00 ($6,286.00) and FundingPips 2 Step Standard $6,525.00 ($6,176.00), because their 35-40% consistency rules only delay one large request to day 16 or 20 and none publishes a per-request cap. The futures leaders, Topstep ($5,248.75) and Tradeify Select Flex ($5,178.75), pay half the profit every five winning days and leave $1,312.50 in the account. Five of the 15 ranked products pay more of the smaller steady month than of the big one, The5ers High Stakes pays nothing of the big month by day 20 because a scale-up restarts its payout clock, and four firms sell a higher-paying product that fails on a floor that trails open profit or a rule that removes profit after a big day.

Freshness: firm pages checked October 7, 2026; Trustpilot figures read October 5 to 7, 2026, each with its own date. Firms change payout rules without notice, so re-check the payout article for your product before you buy.

Every page-one roundup for this search ranks firms on the headline split, the scaling ceiling and the price. None of them works out what a firm’s payout rules do to a profitable month. That is the column this guide adds, because an experienced trader usually passes; what decides the firm is how much of a winning month it lets you take out, and when. If you are still learning, our guide to the best prop firms for beginners ranks firms on the cost of learning instead.
How we ranked prop firms for experienced traders, two months and one cost

We gave every product the same trader and the same two months at $50K, and applied each firm’s own payout rules to them. The months are illustrations of the rules, not predictions of anyone’s results.
- The big month (ranked). Funded day 1 makes +$2,500; days 2 to 20 make +$250 each. Total $7,250, and the best day is 34.5% of it, the shape of a discretionary month where one day carries a third of the result.
- The steady month (shown beside it). +$350 every day for 20 days. Total $7,000, best day 5%.
- The arithmetic rules. Days are Monday to Friday trading days with no holidays, and funded day 1 is a Monday, so a rule worded in calendar days is met on the first trading day on or after it (14 calendar days after day 1 is trading day 11). Every day is closed profit after commissions, no loss limit or conduct rule is broken, and no position is held overnight. The trader requests the most the rules allow at the earliest end of day they allow it. A request counts as cash that day; the firms’ processing times are their own statements, shown separately and not counted. After each payout the balance falls by the gross amount and the firm’s rule for what happens next applies.
- Cash. Each gross request times the split at that payout, less any per-payout fee the firm publishes. Fee refunds paid with a payout are shown in the firm’s entry, never added to cash.
- After the cost. Big-month cash minus the list cost to get funded once: the evaluation price, any activation fee and any add-on the computation uses. Monthly products count one month. An unpublished fee is never assumed to be zero; the cell is marked instead. Promotions are shown with their code and end date but never set the rank.
- Order. One product per firm, the one with the most cash after the cost. Ties go to the cost per $1,000 of loss room: the list cost divided by the smallest overall loss floor through the first payout, times 1,000.
After the cost = cash paid by funded day 20 in the big month − (list price + activation + add-ons used)
Why one evaluation attempt: the trader in this guide already wins, so we assume a first-time pass and count no resets. That is the opposite of our beginners guide, which counts three attempts. Why $50K: it is the size almost every firm sells, so the months are the same dollars at every firm and in both markets. Forex and futures share one table for that reason, with the market named in every row.
Worked once, with the first-ranked product. FundedNext’s On-Demand rule allows a request when the best day is 40% or less of the cycle’s profit. $2,500 is 40% of $6,250, which the big month reaches on day 16 ($2,500 + 15 x $250). The request is $6,250 x 95% less the 3.5% processing fee = $5,729.69, and the account resets. Days 17 to 20 add $1,000, the 2% minimum, for $916.75 on day 20. Total $6,646.44, minus the $298.99 cost = $6,347.45. The steady month passes the 2% minimum every three days: six requests of $1,050, $5,775.54.
Why profitable traders lose a winning month to payout rules

A trader who already wins rarely loses an account to the market. The month is cut down by payout rules that every firm publishes but few traders price. Five kinds did the cutting in our months:
- Consistency rules. A cap on the best day as a share of profit, checked at each request. The share and the base both matter: FundedNext and Alpha divide by the cycle’s profit (40%), FundingPips by profit since the last reward (35%), TradeDay by everything ever earned including payouts (45%), FTMO by positive days’ profit (50%). A $2,500 day needs $6,250 of profit at 40%, $7,143 at 35%, $5,000 at 50% and $12,500 at 20%.
- Per-request caps. Apex caps its first two 50K payouts at $1,500 each, MyFundedFutures Builder at $2,000, TradeDay at $1,500, The5ers at $3,000. A cap turns a big month into a queue.
- Half-the-profit limits. Topstep, Tradeify and FundedNext Futures let a request take 50% of profit. Paying half of what is there every five days leaves $1,312.50 of our big month in a Topstep or Tradeify account at day 20.
- Buffers and minimums. Lucid, MyFundedFutures and Apex keep $2,100 in the account; Take Profit Trader keeps $2,000. E8 One requires each payout to net more than half the daily drawdown, $1,000, which blocks every small payout after the first.
- Calendar clocks and payout counts. FTMO and Blue Guardian pay first on day 11 and then wait 14 days or an unpublished cycle; Alpha’s fifth payout from one account starts a move to live; MyFundedFutures Builder stops at five sim payouts.
Worked example, where a rule cuts the month sharply: TradeDay’s Fast Pass. Its 45% rule divides the best day by all profit earned so far, so $2,500 needs $5,556; the month gets there on day 14. Half the balance would be $2,875, but each request is capped at $1,500, x 80% = $1,200. One more capped request on day 20 makes $2,400.00. That is a third of the month, and $2,211.00 after the $189 cost, while the same account pays $2,950.00 of the smaller steady month.
Most of these rules only delay a payout. The rule types that take profit away, a daily profit cap or a forfeit above a single-day threshold, are a different matter, and the products that carry them are not ranked. If you want to avoid consistency rules altogether, our guide to prop firms with no consistency rule shows which products have none; this guide prices what the rule costs in dollars.

Marks in the table:
- A Activation fee not stated: the firm publishes no activation fee for this product, so the cost is the evaluation price alone and could be higher. Applies to: FundedNext, FundingPips, Blue Guardian.
- P Payout fee not stated: the firm names no per-payout fee for this product, so none is deducted; where a firm publishes one (FundedNext 3.5%, The5ers 3.5%, Blue Guardian 3%) it is taken off the cash. Applies to: Alpha Capital Group, FundingPips, Tradeify, FXIFY, Lucid Trading, MyFundedFutures, FundedNext Futures, Apex Trader Funding.
- D Data fee not stated: the futures firm’s pages we read do not say whether market data or platform fees are included, so none is added. Applies to: Lucid Trading, MyFundedFutures, Apex Trader Funding, TradeDay, Take Profit Trader.
- M Monthly price: the evaluation bills monthly until you pass, and one month is counted. Applies to: Topstep, TradeDay, Take Profit Trader.
- E Euro price converted at the ECB rate for October 2, 2026, 1.1225 dollars per euro: FTMO’s €319 is $358.08. Applies to: FTMO.
- C Two readings: where a firm’s wording can be read two ways, the figure shown is the reading that pays less; the other reading is in the note below. Applies to: Alpha Capital Group, E8 Markets, FXIFY, MyFundedFutures, FundedNext Futures, Apex Trader Funding, TradeDay, The5ers.
- R No-fee payout rail: Topstep is computed on Aeropay (US) or Wise (China, Canada, UK), which carry no Topstep fee; a wire elsewhere costs $30 a payout. Applies to: Topstep.
The other readings, computed: Alpha Capital Group, if the fifth payout only starts a review and the account stays open, the steady month pays $5,670; E8 Markets, with the help centre’s preset 3% daily drawdown, the payout minimum drops, the big month pays $5,799.20 and the steady month $5,039.20; FXIFY, if the first request waits for the five minimum trading days, the big month pays $5,399.10 and $4,925.35 after the cost; MyFundedFutures, if the $2,100 buffer applies to the first payout only, the big month pays $4,800 and the steady month $5,360; FundedNext Futures, if the 50% is read as half of all profit in the account, the big month pays $5,581.25 and $5,447.26 after the cost; Apex Trader Funding, if the next payout needs only five qualifying days instead of eight trading days, the steady month pays $4,200; TradeDay, if trading resumes the day after a request, the steady month pays $4,150; The5ers, if the payout is processed before the scale-up, the big month pays $2,316.00 and $2,067.00 after the cost.
Take Profit Trader is shown below the ranked rows with its figures for reference; its PRO floor trails open profit, which we explain below. The table is not a ceiling ranking: our guide to the prop firms with the highest payouts ranks the most one trader can withdraw at each firm’s maximum, while this guide fixes the month and the size.

Ranked prop firms for experienced traders, most cash after the cost first
Fifteen products, one per firm, 8 forex and 7 futures, in order of big-month cash after the cost. Each entry leads with the rule that decided its cash, then gives the same fields for every firm. The first watch-out is a firm’s move to a live account where it has one.
FundedNext pays the whole big month in one evening once the best day is 40% of profit
FundedNext’s On-Demand option has no per-request cap and pays the entire cycle profit in one request, so the only thing a big day changes is when. The rule is that “your best trading day’s profit should not exceed 40% of your total generated profit at the time of your request”, and FundedNext adds that “this is not a daily profit cap; it is only evaluated when you submit an on-demand request”. A $2,500 day is 40% of $6,250, which the big month reaches on funded day 16. That request pays $6,250 x 95% less the 3.5% processing fee, $5,729.69, and the account resets. Four more $250 days make the 2% ($1,000) minimum on day 20 for another $916.75.
The 95% comes from the Lifetime Reward add-on, which costs 30% on top of the $229.99 price, so the ranked configuration costs $298.99. Without it the split is 90% and the big month pays $6,296.62, $6,066.63 after the $229.99 price, which would still place it third. The steady month pays every three days, as soon as three $350 days pass the 2% minimum: six requests, $5,775.54. The Stellar 2-Step on the same On-Demand rule pays the same cash for $299.99 ($389.99 with the add-on). FundedNext refunds the Stellar Lite fee only with the third reward from the funded account.
Video: FundedNext’s official payout video we found dates from February 2024 and predates its current payout options, so we do not embed it here.
- Product and cost: Stellar Lite 50K, On-Demand with the 95% add-on: $229.99 one-time plus the $69.00 add-on, $298.99; no activation fee is stated. No promotion on this product when we checked. Cost per $1,000 of the $4,000 static floor: $74.75 ($57.50 without the add-on).
- Payout rule that decided the cash: 40% best-day rule at each On-Demand request, no per-request cap, 2% minimum growth, 95% split less the 3.5% processing fee.
- Big month and steady month: $6,646.44 of the $7,250 big month (92%) and $5,775.54 of the $7,000 steady month by funded day 20; $6,347.45 after the $298.99 cost.
- Room to grow: Up to $300,000 across FundedNext accounts ($200,000 on Stellar Lite); after four reward cycles of 4% growth, the balance increases and the standard split rises to 90%. No live move on the forex side.
- Rules a pro hits: News trades within 5 minutes of a high-impact release on a correlated pair count at 40% of their profit; overnight and weekend holds are allowed; accounts of $50,000 and above must be traded manually on MetaTrader; copy trading between funded accounts is not allowed; open risk is capped at 3% at any time.
- Choose it when: You trade forex, can live with a 4% daily loss that ends the account, and want the whole month paid in one or two requests at 95%.
- Watch out for: Every reward passes a compliance review, and FundedNext says that where profits from trades that broke a rule exceed the reward, “the Performance Reward may be denied in full”. Profit from trades that break the 3% risk limit is deducted on the first violation.
- Reviews: 4.5/5 on 81,000 reviews (read October 7, 2026); recent complaint theme: dated one- and two-star reviews from September 16 to 29, 2026 describe terminations and denials at payout for copy trading, hedging or outside assistance, each naming a published rule.
- US buyers and platforms: Yes, on Match-Trader or cTrader; MetaTrader servers are not available to US clients. Platforms: MT4, MT5, cTrader, Match-Trader.

Alpha Capital Group pays an uncapped On-Demand request for a static 6% floor
Alpha Pro’s On-Demand schedule works like FundedNext’s, with a 40% Best Day Rule and no published per-request cap. Its help centre puts it plainly: “A trader becomes eligible once the result is 0.40 (40%) or less.” The big month clears 40% on funded day 16, so the first request is $6,250 at 90% with the add-on, $5,625. The window then restarts, and four $250 days reach the 2% minimum ($1,000) on day 20 for $900 more.
The 90% Profit Split add-on raises the On-Demand price from $217 to $239; at the standard 80% the big month pays $5,800, $5,583 after the cost, so the add-on is worth its $22. The steady month pays $945 every three days, but the count stops at the fifth payout, because five payouts from one account start the Alpha Prime review and the simulated account closes: $4,725. The Alpha Pro 8% (list $297 On-Demand) pays the same cash for more, and the Alpha Pro 10% appears in the help centre but is not offered in today’s checkout. The 6% floor, $3,000 and static, is the smallest static floor here.

FundingPips claims the whole lumpy month on day 20 under a 35% rule
FundingPips’ On Demand cycle is the strictest of the three uncapped forex options: “A 35% consistency score must be achieved: no single trading day can account for more than 35% of total profit.” A $2,500 day stays above 35% of profit until the month totals $7,250 on funded day 20, where it is 34.5%. So the big month is paid in a single request on the last day, $7,250 at 90%: $6,525, the most any firm here pays in one request.
In the steady month the 2% ($1,000) minimum sets the pace, a $945 request every three days, six in all: $5,670. The other FundingPips cycles on the same account pay less: Bi-Weekly at 80% pays $4,000 on day 11, Weekly at 60% pays $3,750. The 2 Step Pro (Weekly 80%) costs $249 and the 2 Step Flex $299, but both pay less of the big month.
