Prop Firm Comparison Websites, Checked Figure by Figure

We checked 12 prop firm comparison and review websites against 24 figures on 8 firms’ own pages. Prop Firm Match got 20 right with none wrong; most sites are paid through referral links, and the same stale prices recur.

We checked 12 prop firm comparison and review websites against 24 figures read the same night on 8 firms’ own pages: list price with billing shape, max-loss floor in dollars with its type, and the first-payout split, for FTMO, FundedNext, FundingPips and The5ers at $100,000 and Topstep, Apex Trader Funding, MyFundedFutures and Take Profit Trader at $50,000. Prop Firm Match matched 20 of 24 with none wrong; JoinProp 19 (3 wrong, all in tables last verified in August); Prop Firm App 15; PropFirmReviews.net 11; DamnPropFirms 10 (futures only); Myfxbook 2. FundingPips’ $652 2 Step Standard price was wrong on 7 sites. 11 of the 12 carry referral tags or their own codes on firm buttons; only PropFirmScope has neither, and its figures date from April 2026 (15 wrong). 5 sites still show a Trustpilot score for Alpha Capital Group, whose rating Trustpilot hides, and Prop Firm Match’s own Trustpilot rating is hidden too. Trustpilot, Reddit and Forex Peace Army are review platforms, not comparison sites; AquaFunded and FundedElite rank competitors on their own blogs, and TradeLocker’s hub lists only firms on its platform.

Prop firm comparison websites: a trader comparing two browser windows of firm data side by side on one monitor

Freshness: firm figures checked on the firms’ own pages and site figures checked on the sites, October 4 and 5, 2026, in one overnight window. We re-checked all 24 firm figures on the firms’ own pages on October 7, 2026, and none had changed. Sites and firms change without notice; re-check before you buy. Trustpilot figures carry the date we read them.

Quick answer on prop firm comparison websites

  • Most accurate: Prop Firm Match, 20 of 24 figures right and none wrong. Most buy buttons carry referral tags.
  • Best dated price tables: JoinProp, 19 of 24. Read the “Pricing last verified” date on each table.
  • Published ranking weights: Prop Firm App, 15 of 24, every cell filled.
  • Futures only: DamnPropFirms, 10 of the 12 futures figures right, with receipt-checked reviews.
  • No referral links: PropFirmScope, but its figures were last verified in April 2026.
  • Clearest disclosure: PropRadar, labelled at the button; it shows no per-size prices.

No site got every figure right, and the errors were not random. Prices drifted when a site’s table was weeks old, splits were copied from the firm’s “up to” headline instead of the first payout, and futures billing (one-time or monthly) was the detail most often left out. The best use of any of these sites is as a shortlist, followed by a five-minute check on the firm’s own page.

“Correct of 24” counts a figure only when the site shows the same product and size with the same amount and, for prices, the same billing shape, and for floors, the same type. The percentage is the share right among the figures the site showed at all, so a futures-only site is not marked down for leaving forex blank, but it cannot score above 12.

A referral tag is a parameter in the buy link (ref, via, fpr, afmc, referralCode and similar) that tells the firm which site sent you, so the site is paid if you buy. We report the tag as an observed fact; it does not by itself make a figure wrong. It does explain why most of these sites lead with a code price rather than the list price.

How we tested prop firm comparison and review sites

Five-step process behind our check of prop firm comparison websites, built from firms' own pages and dated reads
The five checks behind every ranking in the Prop Trader’s Guide.
12
Sites ranked
24
Figures per site
8
Firms used as the key
3
Firm-owned or vendor pages
  1. The key: we picked the four forex and four futures firms with the most Trustpilot reviews that could be bought that night (the eight test firms below), and read each firm’s own pricing page, rules page and payout help article for one reference product at one size.
  2. Three figures per firm: list price with billing shape, max-loss floor in dollars with its type, and the split on the first payout. A promo price counts only if the site also shows the list price or labels the code.
  3. The sites: 15 comparison and review sites found on the first page of results for prop firm comparison and review searches or in a published ranking of comparison websites, read without logging in, on their own firm pages and tables.
  4. The score: correct figures out of 24, strictly counted. Ties go to the site with fewer wrong figures, then to per-firm checked dates, then to where the disclosure sits.
  5. Not ranked: firm-owned and platform-vendor comparison pages (the conflict is the finding) and review platforms that publish no firm terms.
The 24 figures each site was checked against, read on the firms’ own pages October 4, re-checked October 7, 2026.
Firm and productSizeList price and billingMax-loss floorFirst payout split
FTMO Challenge 2-Step$100,000€540 one-time, refundable (about $606)$10,000 static, on equity80%
FundedNext Stellar 2-Step$100,000$549.99 one-time$10,000 static80%
FundingPips 2 Step Standard$100,000$652, no monthly wording on the card$10,000 (type not stated)80% on the bi-weekly cycle
The5ers High Stakes (New)$100,000$405 once, refunded at Pro Trader$8,000 static (FAQ says $10,000)80%
Topstep Trading Combine$50,000$49 a month, plus $149 per funded account$2,000 end-of-day trailing90%
Apex Trader Funding 50K Intraday Trail$50,000$249 one-time, no rebill$2,000 intraday trailing100%
MyFundedFutures Builder$50,000$153 one-time, no renewals$2,000 end-of-day trailing80%
Take Profit Trader Test to PRO$50,000$170 a month until passed, plus $130 PRO$2,000 end-of-day; intraday on PRO80%

Worked example. JoinProp showed a figure for 23 of the 24 cells (MyFundedFutures’ floor had no dollar amount). Of those 23, 19 matched the firm, 3 were wrong prices and 1 was unclear because the FundedNext price did not name the product. Its score is 19 of 24, and 19 ÷ 23 = 82.6% of the figures it showed. Prop Firm Match showed all 24: 20 matched and 4 were forex prices with the right amount but no billing label, so 20 of 24 and 20 ÷ 24 = 83.3%. Under a looser rule that ignored billing labels, Prop Firm Match would score 24.

Two firm pages disagreed with themselves, and we counted either value as correct. The5ers’ High Stakes table shows an 8% maximum loss ($8,000 at $100,000) while its FAQ says 10%. FTMO prices in euros, so we converted at the European Central Bank rate of October 2, 2026 (1.1225 dollars per euro): €540 is about $606. Promos seen that night (FTMO’s 20% badge, FundingPips’ FP code, MyFundedFutures’ CLUB code, Take Profit Trader’s NOFEE40, Apex’s SAVENOW countdown) had no published end date, so they never replaced a list price. Prices kept moving after our read: by October 7, Apex’s No Activation Fee 50K Intraday account had gone from $490 to $799 and its SAVENOW banner read “up to 92% Off”. Neither is one of the 24 figures, and the $249 Standard price in our key was unchanged.

BestProps also publishes firm comparison pages, has no affiliate or sponsor relationship with any firm or site (affiliate disclosure), and does not rate itself here; our own method for comparing firms is in how to compare prop firms.

How we checked prop firm comparison websites: a magnifying glass over a comparison table with ticked and crossed cells, labelled Checked against the firm
Every site figure was set against the firm’s own page, read the same night.

Where prop firm comparison sites got figures wrong

The same few figures were wrong on site after site, which points at how these sites update: a firm changes a price or renames a plan, and the tables that copy it are re-checked on a cycle of weeks or months.

Firm figures that more than one comparison site got wrong, with the firm’s own figure.
Firm figureFirm’s own pageWhat sites showed
FundingPips 2 Step Standard $100K price$652$399 to $544 on 7 sites
The5ers High Stakes $100K price$405 (New), $455 (Classic)$491, $545 and $875
FundedNext Stellar 2-Step first split80% by default90% on 3 sites, 95% on Myfxbook
FTMO 2-Step first split80%, 90% after scaling“Up to 90%” or 70%
Apex 50K billing shape$249 one-time, no rebillMonthly, or “$24.90/mo”
Take Profit Trader PRO activation$130 one-time$0 on 2 sites
MyFundedFutures 50K plansBuilder $153 one-timePlans or monthly prices it no longer sells
Apex 50K Intraday max loss$2,000$2,500 on 2 sites, $3,000 on 1

Prices that moved. FundingPips 2 Step Standard at $100,000 sells for $652, and seven sites showed between $399 and $544. Prop Firm Gorilla’s $544 is for a 10%-target version FundingPips stopped selling on July 24, 2026, and PropFirmStats showed $399 on its profile and $522 in its own table. The5ers High Stakes was $491 on three sites, $545 on two and $875 on PropFirmScope, against $405 for the New version and $455 for Classic.

Splits taken from the headline. FTMO advertises “up to 90%”, but the 2-Step pays 80% on the first payout and 90% only after its scaling or premium conditions. FundedNext’s default first split is 80%; 90% comes with a different payout option picked at checkout. Sites that copied the headline were wrong for the account a new buyer actually gets.

Billing and fees left out. Apex’s 50K Intraday evaluation is $249 one-time with no rebill, but Myfxbook describes Apex as monthly subscriptions and PropFirmReviews.net prints “From $24.90/mo”, a 90%-off promo price shown as a monthly fee. Take Profit Trader bills $170 a month until you pass and charges $130 to activate PRO, yet two sites showed no activation fee at all.

Plans that no longer exist. MyFundedFutures sells Builder, Rapid, Rapid EOD and Pro at $50,000, all one-time. DamnPropFirms described “Core” and “Scale” plans, PropFirmReviews.net a monthly “Standard 2-Step” with a 6% trailing drawdown, and JoinProp a $157 monthly Rapid, each a product or price the firm’s plan pages no longer show.

Ranked prop firm comparison and review sites

Twelve sites, ordered by correct figures out of 24. Each block uses the same fields, so you can compare what a site gets right, who pays it and what it leaves out.

Prop Firm Match, the most accurate prop firm comparison site we checked

Prop Firm Match had no wrong figure on any of the eight test firms. Its sortable challenge tables list every product a firm sells at a size, and for all four futures firms the list price, billing shape, max-loss type and split matched the firm’s own page cell for cell. The four forex rows showed the right list price but no billing label, which is why the strict count stops at 20 rather than 24. The misses we found sat on products outside our test set: Apex Trader Funding’s Standard EOD 50K at $550 against Apex’s $590, and MyFundedFutures’ Rapid EOD 50K at $209 against the firm’s $225.

  • Accuracy: 20 of 24 correct (0 wrong, 0 not shown, 4 unclear); 83.3% of the 24 figures it showed.
  • Who pays it: Referral tags on 7 of the 8 test firms’ buy buttons (FundingPips was the plain link), every buy link marked sponsored, and its own MATCH-family codes beside the price. A “Most Popular Prop Firms” carousel at the top of every table page carries a code on each card but no sponsored label and no stated selection rule.
  • Disclosure: On a separate Transparency page and in the terms, not beside the buttons. The terms say the operator, Prop Firm Match Global FZCO, takes commission when a reader buys through its links or codes. It says no firm can buy a ranking, while one of its ranking systems, Best Sellers, is built from sales made through the platform.
  • Dates and method: No per-firm checked date; tables show a “Live Data, updated 1 min ago” stamp. No corrections policy published.
  • After funding: One max-loss value and type per challenge, so Take Profit Trader’s 50K shows end-of-day trailing only, although its PRO stage trails intraday. Futures tables do split consistency into evaluation and funded columns (Topstep Standard 50K: 55% / 40%).
  • The Funded Trader: The Funded Trader sits on a delisted page that gives the reason as complaints and payout denials, with the note that the site has not verified any individual case.
  • Alpha Capital Group rating: Shows “Trustpilot n/a” for Alpha Capital Group, which matches Trustpilot’s hidden rating.
  • Choose it when: You want every product a firm sells at one account size, with list price, max-loss type and split in one sortable table.
  • Watch out for: Most buy buttons carry referral tags and the code price is shown first; check products beyond the headline one on the firm’s own page.
  • Site: propfirmmatch.com

JoinProp, a prop firm review site with dated price tables

JoinProp is the one site here that dates its price tables, and the dates explain its misses. Each firm review carries a per-size price table stamped “Pricing last verified”, and the three wrong prices sat in tables last verified on August 9 and 10, 2026: FundingPips 2 Step Standard $100K at $544 against the firm’s $652, The5ers High Stakes New $100K at $491 against $405, and MyFundedFutures Rapid $50K at $157 a month when the firm now sells it at $209 one-time. Its reviews also write out what changes after funding, such as Take Profit Trader’s intraday trailing floor on PRO against end-of-day on PRO+.

  • Accuracy: 19 of 24 correct (3 wrong, 1 not shown, 1 unclear); 82.6% of the 23 figures it showed.
  • Who pays it: Referral tags on 4 of the 8 test firms’ buttons; the other four link to plain homepages marked sponsored. Its own codes include JOINPROP, shown on a featured firm slot that is labelled Sponsored.
  • Disclosure: On the About page and in the terms, which describe the publisher, Opsodo Ventures, as an affiliate marketing platform with commercial relationships; nothing beside the buy buttons on the 9 reviews read. The methodology says ratings are not for sale, while the terms say commercial ties may shape banners and paid placements.
  • Dates and method: Per-firm “Last updated” dates and per-table pricing dates; methodology weights published (payout reliability 20%, fees 15%, drawdown 15%, split 15% and five smaller items); corrections reviewed within 14 business days.
  • After funding: Yes. Example: Topstep’s floor moving to zero after the first payout is spelled out in the review.
  • The Funded Trader: Not listed as a firm; its old URL redirects to an academy article calling The Funded Trader “worth considering”, with no mention of the site’s paused status.
  • Alpha Capital Group rating: Shows Alpha Capital Group at 4.7 out of 5 and calls the score “displayed normally”, while Trustpilot hides the rating.
  • Choose it when: You want a firm’s price table by account size plus the drawdown, split and funded-stage catches in one written review.
  • Watch out for: Read the “Pricing last verified” date first; tables two months old were where every wrong price sat.
  • Site: joinprop.com

Prop Firm App, a prop firm comparison site that publishes its ranking weights

Prop Firm App listed all eight test firms and showed a figure in every one of the 24 cells, one of three sites with nothing missing. Its firm profiles break each plan down by size with drawdown type and a consistency rule by stage, and its ranking weights are public: challenge fairness 35%, profit split 20%, Trustpilot rating 20%, payout speed 15%, platform 10%. Six cells were unclear rather than wrong (forex max-loss percentages with no type, futures prices with no billing label). The three wrong ones were all forex: FundedNext Stellar 2-Step shown at a 90% split against the firm’s 80% default, FundingPips 2 Step Standard at $529 against $652, and The5ers High Stakes at $545 and $491 against $455 and $405.

  • Accuracy: 15 of 24 correct (3 wrong, 0 not shown, 6 unclear); 62.5% of the 24 figures it showed.
  • Who pays it: Only FundedNext among the test firms has a tracked outbound link; its own codes are PFA and APP. A TradeDay box tops its 50K and 100K pages, and TradeDay sits first in its main chart with code PFA, with no sponsored label on either.
  • Disclosure: In the footer and on an advertisement disclosure page, which says partnerships can influence which products it writes about but not its evaluations. No company or owner is named anywhere we looked; editors are named.
  • Dates and method: No per-firm checked date, only years in page titles. No corrections policy published.
  • After funding: Yes. Futures rows show the evaluation and live drawdown type separately (end-of-day in evaluation, intraday when live).
  • The Funded Trader: Not listed; its old The Funded Trader URL returns a not-found page.
  • Alpha Capital Group rating: Shows Alpha Capital Group at 4.7 on Trustpilot, while Trustpilot hides the rating.
  • Choose it when: You want plan-by-plan rules at every size with a published weighting behind the ranking.
  • Watch out for: Its separate /funded-accounts/50k table disagrees with its own profiles (Topstep at $165 there against $49 a month on the firm’s page); trust the profile, then the firm.
  • Site: propfirmapp.com

PropFirmReviews.net, a prop firm review site with a dated closure tracker

PropFirmReviews.net writes a scored review per firm with a review date, keeps a tracker of firms that shut down, and promises dated corrections at the point of the error. Its figures for the two futures firms it covers well, Topstep and Take Profit Trader, matched on all six cells. Elsewhere seven cells were wrong. It describes MyFundedFutures as selling a monthly “Standard 2-Step” at $155 with a 6% trailing drawdown, a product the firm’s own plan pages do not sell (Builder $50K is $153 one-time with a $2,000 floor). It prints Apex’s 50K as “From $24.90/mo” when $24.90 is a promo price on a $249 one-time fee, and it says The5ers stops at $50K while The5ers sells High Stakes at $100K.

  • Accuracy: 11 of 24 correct (7 wrong, 6 not shown); 61.1% of the 18 figures it showed.
  • Who pays it: Referral tags on 5 of the 8 test firms, routed through the site’s own /go/ redirects; its own codes include FT30, FTR and FT. A featured firm on the homepage is labelled as an editorial pick with a commission note.
  • Disclosure: On every review page, near the top, plus the footer and a full disclosure page. The legal entity behind the site is not named in its terms or privacy policy. It says commission rate is not a scoring input.
  • Dates and method: Per-firm review dates (Topstep September 8, 2026; FundedNext June 24, 2026) and a stated 30-day re-check cycle. Methodology weights published; public, dated corrections promised.
  • After funding: Yes. Take Profit Trader’s review states end-of-day trailing in the test and intraday trailing once funded on PRO.
  • The Funded Trader: Lists The Funded Trader on its shut-down tracker as paused since March 28, 2024 and never fully returned.
  • Alpha Capital Group rating: Shows Alpha Capital Group at 4.7 on Trustpilot, while Trustpilot hides the rating.
  • Choose it when: You want one scored written review per firm, a closure history and a published weighting before you shortlist.
  • Watch out for: Its three firm-count claims disagree with each other (187, 162 and 174), and several futures prices are promo or legacy figures.
  • Site: propfirmreviews.net

DamnPropFirms, a futures-only prop firm review site with verified-purchase reviews

DamnPropFirms covers futures firms only, so all twelve forex cells are blank, but on the futures firms it lists it was right 10 times out of 12. Topstep and Take Profit Trader matched on every cell. Its one wrong figure is MyFundedFutures, described with “Core” and “Scale” plans and prices the firm’s current plan pages do not show. Its review system is the most explicit we found: unverified reviews carry zero weight, and separate labels mark a reader who sent a receipt (Verified Purchase) or proof of a payout (Verified Payout).

  • Accuracy: 10 of 24 correct (1 wrong, 12 not shown, 1 unclear); 83.3% of the 12 figures it showed.
  • Who pays it: Referral tags on Apex and Take Profit Trader, 2 of the 4 test firms it lists, and a single site code, DGT. No paid slots found; its About page says it turns down paid placement.
  • Disclosure: In the footer, stating plainly that the site is paid affiliate commissions at different rates by different firms. The terms name the operator, Kozlo Inc DBA DamnPropFirms.
  • Dates and method: Month stamps per firm page (“Updated September 2026”) and dated code checks; the dated stamp checks the code, not the rules. Corrections: firms can send evidence of a factual error (review guidelines dated September 2, 2026). No published weights.
  • After funding: Yes. Take Profit Trader’s floor is shown as end-of-day in the test, intraday on PRO and end-of-day on PRO+.
  • The Funded Trader: Not listed; The Funded Trader returns its not-found page.
  • Alpha Capital Group rating: Not listed (futures only).
  • Choose it when: You trade futures and want every plan of a firm by size with list price, code price and drawdown in one table.
  • Watch out for: Forex buyers get nothing here, and most buy buttons carry its single affiliate code.
  • Site: damnpropfirms.com

PropFirmStats, a forex prop firm comparison site with deep funded-stage rules

PropFirmStats lists none of the four futures test firms, so half the grid is empty, but its forex profiles are the most detailed on rules after funding: FTMO’s 2-Step page states the funded daily limit and the static 10% maximum loss separately, and FundedNext’s flags a 3% risk-per-trade rule on the funded account. Nine of the eleven figures it showed were right. The wrong one shows the site contradicting itself: FundingPips 2 Step $100K is $399 on the profile and $522 in the site’s own challenge table, and the firm’s price is $652.

  • Accuracy: 9 of 24 correct (1 wrong, 13 not shown, 1 unclear); 81.8% of the 11 figures it showed.
  • Who pays it: Tracked links on all 4 test firms it lists, including FTMO, whose pricing tab says the review is fully independent and that no promo code exists. Own codes STATS, STATS20 and PROPFIRMS. A site-wide FundedNext “Exclusive Community Deal” banner and homepage spotlight cards carry no sponsored label, although its FAQ says firms may sponsor featured placement.
  • Disclosure: In the closing disclaimer of compare pages and in the terms; none on the firm profile pages we read. No operator is named, and the terms still read “the laws of [Your Country or State]”.
  • Dates and method: Per-firm “Last updated” month (FTMO June 2026; FundingPips October 2026). Two different weight sets on one methodology page. Readers can report errors through a report feature.
  • After funding: Yes, and in more detail than any other site for the forex firms it covers.
  • The Funded Trader: Not listed; its The Funded Trader URL returns “Firm not found”.
  • Alpha Capital Group rating: Not listed.
  • Choose it when: You trade forex and want one firm’s drawdown, news and consistency rules spelled out phase by phase, funded stage included.
  • Watch out for: Its own challenge table and firm profiles disagree on prices; check the firm before you trust either.
