We checked 18 prop firms’ own pages for last year’s Black Friday deals, re-applied each deal to today’s list price and compared it with the code each firm runs today, per $1,000 of loss room at $50,000. 11 firms ran a sale they published themselves; 7 showed none we could find. Waiting would have paid most at Crypto Fund Trader (2-Phase 50K, $19.40 per $1,000) and FTMO (1-Step 50K, $14.33), the two with no code today, then AquaFunded ($11.08) and Tradeify Growth 50K ($7.25). At Funding Traders and Funded Trading Plus today’s code equals last year’s sale, and at MyFundedFutures, Take Profit Trader and Apex today’s code is cheaper. The lowest list cost in this guide is Blue Guardian’s 2 Step Nano at $25.40 per $1,000; among futures firms Topstep is lowest at $47.50 for one month. No firm had announced a Black Friday 2026 deal (November 27) as of October 4, 2026.

Freshness: prices, codes and rules checked October 3 to 4, 2026; the Black Friday 2026 status of every firm checked on October 4, 2026, between 12:51 AM and 1:47 AM Pacific. Quick answer on the best prop firm Black Friday deals

A Black Friday code is only a good deal if it beats what the same firm charges on an ordinary day. Several prop firms run 40% to 90% codes on an ordinary October day, so for many of them last year’s Black Friday price was no better than today’s, and at a few it was worse. The table below puts last year’s deal, re-applied to today’s list price, next to today’s code for the same product.

  • Cheapest loss room among firms with a 2025 sale: Blue Guardian 2 Step Nano, $25.40 per $1,000 at list and $19.00 with BG25 today.
  • Most to gain by waiting, no code today: Crypto Fund Trader 2-Phase 50K, $19.40 per $1,000 if last year’s Black Week price returns; FTMO 1-Step 50K, $14.33.
  • Most to gain by waiting, code live today: AquaFunded 2 Step Elite, $11.08 per $1,000, though last year’s scope was never published.
  • Cheapest futures firm with a 2025 sale: Tradeify Growth 50K, $72.50 at list, $43.50 if last year’s 40% returns.
  • No reason to wait: MyFundedFutures, Take Profit Trader and Apex, where today’s code already beats last year’s sale price.
  • Same price any month: Funding Traders (TRYFT equals BF50 on the 2-Step Pro10) and Funded Trading Plus (FUNDED30 equals BF30).

How to judge a prop firm Black Friday deal, with a worked 50K example

Prop firm Black Friday deals explained: a sale price tag with a crossed-out price, a calendar page and a ruler labelled Loss room
Price, calendar and loss room: the three things to line up before trusting a sale price.

Cost per $1,000 of loss room = (list price + activation fee) ÷ (maximum loss in dollars ÷ 1,000). It answers a simple question: how much do you pay for each $1,000 the account lets you lose before it ends? A $50,000 account with a $2,000 floor gives you $2,000 of room; one with a $5,000 floor gives you $5,000. A cheaper sticker on a tighter floor can cost more per dollar of room.

List versus code versus sale. Take Apex’s 50K EOD Trail. Its list price is $590 and every funded account adds a $129 activation fee, so $719 ÷ 2 = $359.50 per $1,000. Today’s SAVENOW code takes 90% off the evaluation fee only: $59 + $129 = $188, or $94.00. Last year’s Black Friday week ran 80% off: $118 + $129 = $247, or $123.50. The banner with the bigger number was the worse deal, and in both cases the fee the code could not touch made up half or more of what you paid.

Rebills. A monthly evaluation charges again until you pass. Alpha Futures’ ALPHA40 takes 40% off the first month of its $129 Standard 50K ($77.40), but the second month bills at $129, so two months cost $206.40, or $103.20 per $1,000. Take Profit Trader’s code works the other way: its 40% applies to every monthly bill for life. Topstep’s no-code $85 price also recurs each month. Always ask whether the discount reaches month two.

Bundles and buy-one-get-one, per account. When we checked on October 4, 2026, Funding Traders’ MATRIX offer charged $165 for two 1-Step Pro 50K accounts plus add-ons: $82.50 per account, but only if you would actually trade the second one. Blue Guardian’s 2025 free account and Instant Funding’s BFBOGO free duplicate both arrived only after a first reward or payout, so they cost nothing up front and are worth nothing until you are paid. We never add these perks to the cost figures.

  1. Sources: each firm’s own live pages (homepage banners, codes pages, dated blog posts, help articles, checkout) and archived copies of the firm’s own pages from November 15 to December 5, 2025. Coupon grids and roundups were used only to learn which code to look for.
  2. One product per firm: the product cheapest on the cost-per-$1,000 figure at $50,000, priced from the firm’s checkout or price list, never a bundle total.
  3. List price ranks, codes never: the regular price plus any published activation fee, divided by the overall maximum loss in dollars at its smallest stage (never a daily limit). Monthly products count one month. A fee the firm never names is left out and the row is marked.
  4. Last year re-applied: last year’s discount applied to today’s list price, only within the products and costs the firm said it covered. This is an illustration, not a forecast. Where the ranked product did not exist last year, we show the product the deal did cover.
  5. 2026 status: every firm’s announcement page re-read on October 4, 2026. “Not announced” is a finding; we never guess a code. FTMO’s euro prices use the ECB rate of 1.1225 dated October 2, 2026.

A firm’s right to move funded traders to a live account is shown as a watch-out, not a reason to rank it lower. A hidden Trustpilot rating is reported but never used to rank.

Notes on this ranking: Rows 1 to 10 are ranked on today’s list cost per $1,000 of loss room; codes and sales never move a firm up. The seven “no sale found” rows and the caution row show the same figure for comparison but are not ranked against the first ten. “If 2025 deal repeated” applies last year’s discount to today’s list price within the scope the firm published: an illustration, not a forecast. “Gap” is today’s standing code minus that illustration, so “waiting saves” means last year’s deal would beat today’s best published price. * Blue Guardian, AquaFunded, Goat Funded Trader and Crypto Fund Trader name no activation fee for these products and never state it is $0, so the figure counts the challenge fee only. † Instant Funding’s IF Evolve floor is a $2,000 end-of-day trailing limit that stops at the starting balance; one general sentence on its site calls programs like this static. The dollar figure is the same under both readings, and we treat it as trailing. ‡ FTMO prices in euros; €319 is converted at the ECB rate of 1.1225 dated October 2, 2026. A euro about 1.2% stronger would put it level with Tradeify’s $72.50.

Read the gap column as the answer to “should I wait?”. Of the 10 ranked firms, 7 show a saving from a repeat of last year’s deal, but only two exceed $14 per $1,000, and both are firms with no code on their 50K account today.

Last year’s prop firm Black Friday deals, firm by firm

These 10 firms published a Black Friday or Cyber Monday deal on their own pages in 2025. They are ranked on today’s list cost per $1,000 of loss room, cheapest first; each block shows what last year’s deal would mean on today’s price.

Blue Guardian’s 2 Step Nano is the cheapest loss room here, Black Friday code or not

The cheapest loss room in this guide was never on sale last November, because the product did not exist yet. Blue Guardian’s 2 Step Nano lists at $127 for a $50,000 account with a $5,000 static floor (10%, measured on equity including floating trades, at both stages): $127 ÷ 5 = $25.40 per $1,000 of loss room. The firm names no activation fee for it, so that figure counts the challenge fee only.

Last year’s sale had its own landing page: “BLACK FRIDAY • 50% OFF • Nov. 23 – Nov 30th Code: BLACKFRIDAY”, with “Plus 80% Off 5k & 10k accounts and Buy 1 Get 1 Free after your first reward.” The cards were less generous than the headline. On the November 30, 2025 homepage the 2 Step Standard 50K card showed $207 struck from $297, about 30% off, not 50%. Apply that 30.3% to today’s 2 Step Standard list of $232 and you get $161.70, or $40.42 per $1,000 of its $4,000 static floor, against $43.50 with today’s BG25 code. Waiting would save $3.08 per $1,000, about $12 on one account.

The more useful number is the Nano with BG25 today: $95, or $19.00 per $1,000. That is already below every 2025 Black Friday card that still exists at the same size, so a Nano buyer has little to wait for unless a 2026 code is deeper and covers Nano. Before last year’s sale the firm ran “Use Code: BG40 for 40% OFF All Accounts *excl. 2 Step, IFS – 30% OFF”, which tells you how close its ordinary codes run to its sale codes.

Video: “Which Blue Guardian Account is Best? (All Rules explained),” Blue Guardian official YouTube channel, May 7, 2026. Source type: vendor-produced. Why selected: Blue Guardian’s own walk-through of its account types and rules; no official Black Friday video was found.

  • List price at $50,000: $127 one-time, “One-time fee that will be 100% refunded upon your 4th payout”. $5,000 static floor; $25.40 per $1,000.
  • Black Friday 2025 on the firm’s own pages: BLACKFRIDAY, 50% on all accounts and 80% on 5K and 10K, November 23 to 30, 2025, plus a free account after the first reward. The 2 Step Standard 50K card showed about 30% off.
  • Today’s standing code: BG25, 25% on all accounts, no end date shown: Nano $95.00 ($19.00 per $1,000).
  • What last year’s deal did not cover: Resets and add-ons were never mentioned. The free second account only arrived after a first reward, so it was worth nothing to a trader who never reached one. A footnote asterisk on the homepage banner was never explained on the page.
  • Choose it when: You want the lowest loss-room cost in this guide and can live with a 3% daily loss limit.
  • Watch out for: The 3% daily loss ends the account; funded payouts are capped at 2% of the balance per 14-day cycle, with a 50% funded consistency rule, a 2-minute minimum hold and a 5-minute news blackout; several reviewers describe payout denials over device matches.
  • Black Friday 2026: Not announced as of 1:43 AM Pacific on October 4, 2026. Watch: site banner; 2025 sale page now 404s.
  • Trustpilot: rating hidden behind a “breach of our guidelines” banner, 2,092 reviews (read October 4, 2026). Blue Guardian profile.

AquaFunded’s 2 Step Elite would gain the most from a repeat Black Friday code among firms with a code today

AquaFunded is the one firm here where last year’s Black Friday deal beats today’s live code by more than $10 per $1,000, and also the one where nobody can say what that deal covered. The site-wide banner captured on November 17, 2025 read “50% OFF + 150% Refund – 300 Spaces”, with “Limited Time Code: BLACKFRIDAY”. It named no product, no size, no exclusion and no end date.

Today’s 2 Step Elite 50K lists at $221.60 with a $5,000 static floor, $44.32 per $1,000 (the firm names no activation fee, so this counts the fee only). If last year’s 50% applied to the evaluation fee, the same account would cost $110.80, or $22.16 per $1,000, against $166.20 ($33.24) with the AUTUMN code live now. That is $11.08 per $1,000, about $55 on one account, if the scope really was every product.

Two things shrink that gap in practice. Before the sale, on November 7, 2025, the homepage already offered “New to AquaFunded? 50% OFF Enjoy an exclusive 50% OFF your first purchase”, so a first-time buyer could match the Black Friday percentage weeks earlier. And the refund perk was capped at 300 buyers with terms we could not find, so it adds nothing you can count on. The cheaper-looking 2 Step Pro ($28.64 per $1,000) is not the ranked product, because its max loss trails the highest balance or equity including unrealised profit.

Video: “Risk Management Rules That Separate Funded Traders From Blown Accounts,” AquaFunded official YouTube channel, July 4, 2026. Source type: vendor-produced. Why selected: AquaFunded’s own explainer of its risk rules; no official Black Friday video was found.

  • List price at $50,000: $221.60 one-time, refundable per the selector; $5,000 static floor; $44.32 per $1,000 (fee only).
  • Black Friday 2025 on the firm’s own pages: BLACKFRIDAY, 50% plus a 150% refund for 300 buyers, seen November 17, 2025. Products, costs covered and end date were not published.
  • Today’s standing code: AUTUMN, 25%, advertised as a limited deal with no end date: $166.20 ($33.24 per $1,000).
  • What last year’s deal did not cover: Everything beyond the headline is unknown: which products, whether resets or add-ons were included, and the refund terms for the 300 spaces.
  • Choose it when: You want a static floor on a 2-step and can buy within a sale window; a first-time buyer should compare the new-customer offer first.
  • Watch out for: The 4% daily loss ends the account, and the funded-only Wave Stop closes all trades at 2% combined open loss (the first trigger cuts the split to 50%, the second breaches the account).
  • Black Friday 2026: Not announced as of 1:38 AM Pacific on October 4, 2026. Watch: homepage top banner.

Instant Funding’s IF Evolve is cheap every day, and last year’s Black Friday codes never named it

IF Evolve costs $99 one-time for a $50,000 account with a $2,000 floor, $49.50 per $1,000, and no code touches it today: the homepage banner reads “30% OFF PRO & LITE / Use code IF30 / No minimum spend. Not valid on Evolve”. Evolve was not in the November 2025 lineup either, so there is no Black Friday price for it to compare against.

Instant Funding ran the most layered sale in this guide. A blog post dated November 7, 2025 set out three codes: “Use code BF1 to get 37% off Instant Funding and IF Micro.” BFNEW gave 42% to new customers only, and BFBOGO gave “20% off any product + a free account identical to the one you bought after payout with code BFBOGO. Limited to one free account per trader”. The firm’s own pages disagree on what happens if a past buyer uses BFNEW: one says “as it will lead to payout rejection” and another says “as it will result in your account being voided”.

The closest named product sold today is IF Micro Pro, which now tops out at $25,000: $172 list, $1,500 static floor, $114.67 per $1,000. Last year’s BF1 37% would bring it to $108.36 ($72.24); IF30 brings it to $120.40 ($80.27), if IF30 covers it, which the banner’s “PRO & LITE” wording suggests but does not state. Waiting would save $8.03 per $1,000, about $12 on that account. If you see BF1, BFBOGO or BFNEW on a coupon site this autumn, they are last year’s codes: they still sit in a hidden block of the homepage, are not displayed, and were not announced for 2026.

  • List price at $50,000: $99 one-time, “Our programs require only a one-time payment, with no recurring charges.” $2,000 end-of-day trailing floor; $49.50 per $1,000.
  • Black Friday 2025 on the firm’s own pages: BF1 37% (all customers, Instant Funding and IF Micro), BFNEW 42% (new customers only) and BFBOGO 20% on any product, from a blog post dated November 7, 2025; gone from the homepage by December 3, 2025.
  • Today’s standing code: None for Evolve. IF30 takes 30% off Pro and Lite products only, with no end date shown.
  • What last year’s deal did not cover: Evolve and One-Phase Lite did not exist. Resets were never mentioned, the free accounts were capped at one per trader, and the 5,000 free IF Micro accounts went only to the first 5,000 new customers spending $150 or more after discount, sent out on January 15.
  • Choose it when: You want a low list cost with no daily loss limit and do not need a code to get it.
  • Watch out for: Positions are auto-closed at 4:55 PM EST, funded payouts are capped (50% or $2,000) with a five-payout limit, and funded leverage on metals and indices is temporarily cut to 1:5.
  • Black Friday 2026: Not announced as of 1:39 AM Pacific on October 4, 2026. Watch: homepage promo block and blog.
  • Trustpilot: rating hidden behind a “breach of our guidelines” banner, 4,372 reviews (read October 4, 2026). Instant Funding profile.

Goat Funded Trader’s 2 Step GOAT was half price on Black Friday, and is half price for new buyers today

For a first-time buyer, waiting for Black Friday at Goat Funded Trader buys nothing. Last year’s banner, seen on the firm’s pages from November 26 to November 30, 2025, read “50% OFF Limited Time Code: BLACKFRIDAY50” and sat on every model card, including the 2 Step GOAT 50K at “$144 $288.00.” Today the banner reads “Limited Time 45% OFF CODE: GFT45 50% OFF for New Customers CODE: FIRSTGFT”.

The list price rose $20 since then: the 2 Step GOAT 50K is $308 one-time with a $5,000 static floor, $61.60 per $1,000 (no activation fee is named, so this counts the fee only). Half of today’s list is $154, or $30.80 per $1,000, exactly what FIRSTGFT gives a new customer today. A returning buyer on GFT45 pays $169.40 ($33.88), so waiting for a repeat would save $3.08 per $1,000, about $15 on one account.

Goat Funded Trader also publishes its own Black Friday roundup, which ranks itself first and quotes codes (TRIPLE20, DOUBLEBF) with no year attached. Those codes do not appear on the firm’s November 2025 pages, which show BLACKFRIDAY50, so treat the article as an undated claim. Two weeks before the sale the firm ran VETERANSDAY at 35% plus a 350% refund.
