Read the full summary
FTMO US is our best forex prop firm for US traders. It is a US-only product with a US contracting entity, a $399 2-Step at $50K refunded with the first Reward, MT5 or TradingView, and Revolut bank-wire payouts with no FTMO fee after a W-9. E8 Markets (Dallas, Texas) is the pick for a US-only bank payout rail and 1099s. FundedNext has the clearest tax process of the offshore firms and a separate US price list, but US accounts are Match-Trader only with no EAs. Alpha Capital Group, Darwinex Zero, Maven Trading, BrightFunded, The5ers, Blue Guardian, ThinkCapital, FundingPips, FundedElite and Funded Trading Plus also accept US residents, each on a named platform or product. FXIFY and Blueberry Funded rank in search for US traders, but their own terms exclude US residents.

Freshness: Every eligibility line, price, payout rail and tax statement below was read from each firm’s live terms, help center and checkout from a US IP on September 27 to 29, 2026 (checked September 2026). Firms change country rules and codes often, so confirm on the firm’s site before paying.

How we ranked forex prop firms for US traders

FXIFY, in position one for this search, excludes US residents in its own footer. So we read 20 firms’ restricted lists, terms and US-IP checkouts and ranked on what a US resident gets once funded:
- Eligibility, dated. Residency, state exclusions and product limits from the firm’s own pages. Firms whose terms name the US are not ranked.
- Payout rail to a US bank. Evidence a US bank receives the money, then fee and minimum. Crypto-only is flagged.
- Platform for US clients. What a US resident may use and whether it runs EAs.
- $50K price at a US checkout. List and promo, with code and expiry.
- Trustpilot as tiebreak. Hidden ratings are stated as hidden.

FTMO US accepts US forex traders on MT5 and TradingView, best for a US entity and bank-wire payouts
Verdict: FTMO US (ftmo.oanda.com) is a US-only product, separate from global FTMO. Legal US residents 18+ buy the 2-Step Challenge, $399 at $50K and refunded with the first Reward, and are paid by Revolut bank wire to a US bank with no FTMO fee after a W-9. It is the only challenge here that allows MT5 for US residents. The cheaper 1-Step ($359 at $50K) trails an end-of-day equity high instead of a fixed floor, never refunds its fee, and gates every Reward behind a Best Day Rule capping your single best trading day at 50% of total profit; the 2-Step’s 10% max loss is a static floor from the starting balance instead.
Video: “FTMO | Now in the United States,” FTMO US official YouTube channel, 2025-08-26. Source type: vendor-produced. Why selected: FTMO’s only official video on US access; an announcement with no rules detail.
Trader sentiment: 53,372 Trustpilot reviews (parent FTMO profile), 4.8/5. Praise: smooth, prompt payouts. Complaints: closures for alleged prohibited practices.
- Choose it when: you have an SSN and a US bank account and want MT5 or TradingView with a refundable fee.
- Watch out for: funded Standard accounts close before weekends and avoid targeted news, and 1099 issuance is not published. More: FTMO rules, FTMO payouts.
E8 Markets accepts US forex traders on TradeLocker and MatchTrader, best for a US-only bank payout rail
Verdict: E8 Funding LLC of Dallas, Texas runs the TradeLocker and MatchTrader accounts US residents are limited to. Its Aeropay rail is bank-to-bank and “available only for U.S. clients”; WorkMarket ACH costs $0.95. E8 collects a W-9 and US residents get a 1099 from the processor. E8 One $50K is $288, or $260 with code E8. E8’s own pages disagree on E8 One’s risk limits: the help-center article states 3% daily loss and a 4% dynamic max, while the live checkout configurator defaults the same product to 6% dynamic, 4% daily and a 9% target. E8 Pro holds back 50% of each cycle’s profit as a drawdown buffer until a later payout, the most-repeated complaint on its Trustpilot page.
Video: “E8 Signature Explained: Rules, Drawdown & Payouts (2026),” E8 Markets official YouTube channel, 2026-06-18. Source type: vendor-produced. Why selected: E8 has no US or Aeropay video; this is its official E8 Signature payout explainer.
Trader sentiment: 3,298 Trustpilot reviews, rating hidden behind Trustpilot’s “breach of our guidelines” banner. Praise: responsive support. Complaints: E8 Pro holds back 50% of cycle profit as a buffer.
- Choose it when: you want payouts in a US bank with tax paperwork handled.
- Watch out for: Trustpilot has hidden the rating, Rise pays no fiat in 12 states, and the fee is not refunded. More: E8 Markets rules, E8 Markets payouts.
FundedNext accepts US forex traders on Match-Trader, best for a US price list and 1099 paperwork
Verdict: FundedNext has a US price list: Stellar 2-Step $50K is $269.99 for US buyers against $299.99 globally, refunded with the first reward. It takes a W-9 before the first withdrawal and issues a 1099-NEC above $600 a year, the clearest tax process of any offshore firm here. RiseWorks pays from $50.
Video: “How to Withdraw Profit from Your FundedNext Account Explained | Prop Trading Guides,” FundedNext official YouTube channel, 2023-10-23. Source type: vendor-produced. Why selected: FundedNext’s only official withdrawal-methods video; it predates the 2026 method list.
Trader sentiment: 80,319 Trustpilot reviews, 4.5/5. Praise: payouts within 24 hours. Complaints: terminations for alleged copy trading.
- Choose it when: you trade by hand and want the firm to handle US tax forms.
- Watch out for: Match-Trader only with no EAs, and a MetaTrader login from a US IP ends the account. More: FundedNext rules, FundedNext payouts.
Alpha Capital Group accepts US forex traders on DX Trade and TradeLocker, best for EAs outside MetaTrader
Verdict: The “not a US resident” box behind Alpha Capital’s US-restricted label only shows for MT5 and cTrader. From a US IP the checkout offers DX Trade and TradeLocker, with EAs allowed. Alpha Pro 6% $50K is $217, or $173.60 with ALPHA20 until October 31, 2026. Payouts list ACH and wire, fees not published. Every payout, including the first, is gated by a 40% Best Day Rule (no single day may be more than 40% of total profit) stacked on top of the 2% gross-profit minimum, so a trader who spikes on one trade has to keep trading profitably to unlock the rest.
Video: “Skip the Evaluation. Keep 90%. Start from Day 1. ⚡,” Alpha Capital Group official YouTube channel, 2026-07-26. Source type: vendor-produced. Why selected: No official Alpha video covers US access; this Short is about Alpha Direct, not Alpha Pro.
Trader sentiment: 21,787 Trustpilot reviews, rating hidden behind Trustpilot’s “breach of our guidelines” banner. Praise: payouts within 48 hours. Complaints: terminations over IP or device links.
- Choose it when: you run an EA on DX Trade or TradeLocker.
- Watch out for: Trustpilot has hidden the rating, no W-9 or 1099 process is published, and all sales are final. More: Alpha Capital Group payouts, status.
Darwinex Zero accepts US forex traders on MT4, MT5 and TradingView, best for EA traders who skip challenges
Verdict: Darwinex Zero is a $50-a-month subscription, not a challenge, open “from any country without restrictions.” You trade a virtual account with no target or breach and earn a 15% performance fee on capital Darwinex allocates to your strategy, paid in euros by bank transfer from €100 with no Darwinex fee. Allocation is not automatic: new accounts run a roughly 15-day calibration window first, and the fee is earned only on the notional capital Darwinex later assigns to your track record, not on your own $50 subscription.
Video: “How Darwinex Zero Works,” Darwinex Zero official YouTube channel, 2026-01-19. Source type: vendor-produced. Why selected: The official channel has no US or payout video; this explainer covers the fee model.
Trader sentiment: 386 Trustpilot reviews, 4.2/5. Praise: real allocations and fee payouts. Complaints: high spreads and swaps on some assets.
- Choose it when: you want MetaTrader and EAs from the US.
- Watch out for: no allocation means no income, and no W-9 or 1099 is mentioned. More: Darwinex Zero profile.
Maven Trading accepts US forex traders on Match Trader, best for a sub-$200 evaluation with a flat payout fee
Verdict: Maven names the United States among countries paid through Rise at $20 per withdrawal. The Standard 3-Step $50K is $190, or $171 with ETERNAL (no end date shown), refunded on the third withdrawal. MetaTrader is blocked in the US region.
Video: “How to Get Funded Payouts in DAYS! (NOT WEEKS),” Maven Trading official YouTube channel, 2026-07-15. Source type: vendor-produced. Why selected: Maven’s own video on funded payout speed; none covers US access.
Trader sentiment: 5,214 Trustpilot reviews, rating hidden behind Trustpilot’s “breach of our guidelines” banner. Praise: fast first payouts. Complaints: “hidden rules” and sudden breach emails.
- Choose it when: you trade manually and will withdraw under $10,000 a month.
- Watch out for: a $10,000 cap per 30-day cycle voids the excess, EAs are banned, and Trustpilot has hidden the rating. More: Maven Trading rules, Maven Trading payouts.
BrightFunded accepts US forex traders on DXtrade, best for manual traders who take EUR payouts
Verdict: US residents are limited to DXtrade, which does not support automated trading. Prices and bank payouts are in euros: 2-Step Classic $50K is €297, or €207.90 with 3YEARS. BrightFunded charges no payout fee and sets no minimum; banks take $5 to $50 on conversion.
Video: “Here's Exactly How Modern Prop Firm Payouts Work (And How To Maximise Them) #propfirmtrading,” BrightFunded official YouTube channel, 2026-05-06. Source type: vendor-produced. Why selected: BrightFunded’s own payout explainer; none covers US access.
Trader sentiment: 572 Trustpilot reviews, rating hidden behind Trustpilot’s “breach of our guidelines” banner. Praise: fast payouts. Complaints: disputed drawdown breaches.
- Choose it when: you trade by hand and accept euros.
- Watch out for: the first reward waits 30 days, no tax form is published, and Trustpilot has hidden the rating. More: BrightFunded profile.
The5ers accepts US forex traders on TradingView, best for a published 4.7 rating
Verdict: The5ers bars MetaQuotes platforms for US residents, so US clients trade on TradingView’s web terminal. High Stakes $50K is $249, with 70% refunded at the first payout. Every cash rail costs 3.5%, and The5ers does not say whether Rise or bank transfer reaches US banks.
Video: “Interview with a trader: Total Payouts of $31,246,” The5ers official YouTube channel, 2026-05-23. Source type: vendor-produced. Why selected: The5ers has no US or payout video; this funded-trader interview is the closest.
Trader sentiment: 38,678 Trustpilot reviews, 4.7/5. Praise: fast, reliable payouts. Complaints: terminations for “similar trading patterns”.
- Choose it when: you want the best-rated evaluation here and trade from a browser.
- Watch out for: program pages still say MT5 only, so confirm the platform first. More: The5ers status, The5ers rules.
Blue Guardian accepts US forex traders on Match-Trader and TradeLocker, best for the lowest $50K price
Verdict: Blue Guardian restricts US clients to Match Trader and TradeLocker. Its 2 Step Nano $50K is $127, or $95.25 with BG25, the cheapest $50K here. Rise (Bank Withdrawal) pays from $500 and every payout loses a 3% processing fee. On funded Instant accounts, a feature called Guardian Shield auto-closes every open trade once floating losses hit 1% of the account, a tighter and automatic floor on top of the published daily and trailing limits; 2 Step Nano payouts are separately capped at 2% of the initial balance per 14-day cycle.
Video: “Which Blue Guardian Account is Best? (All Rules explained),” Blue Guardian official YouTube channel, 2026-05-07. Source type: vendor-produced. Why selected: Blue Guardian’s own account-types video; none covers US access.
Trader sentiment: 2,102 Trustpilot reviews, rating hidden behind Trustpilot’s “breach of our guidelines” banner. Praise: payouts within hours. Complaints: “rules are very strict”.
- Choose it when: price matters most and you run EAs, which are allowed.
- Watch out for: MT5 is the checkout default and locks after the first trade, and Trustpilot has hidden the rating. More: Blue Guardian payouts.
ThinkCapital accepts US forex traders on ThinkTrader, best for TradingView charting with a broker brand
Verdict: ThinkCapital’s terms restrict US clients to ThinkTrader, which carries TradingView charts. Nexus $50K is $199 with the fee reimbursed once the funded account is in profit. ThinkMarkets does not onboard US residents, so US traders are paid in USDT or through Rise.
Video: “👉 US Traders Welcome at ThinkCapital | Prop Trading Without Limits 💚,” ThinkCapital official YouTube channel, 2025-06-30. Source type: vendor-produced. Why selected: The only official US-eligibility video in this ranking; it does not cover payouts.
Trader sentiment: 611 Trustpilot reviews, rating hidden behind Trustpilot’s “breach of our guidelines” banner. Praise: fast named support. Complaints: breaches under the strict news rule.
- Choose it when: you chart on TradingView and want a cheap three-step.
- Watch out for: Rise’s $50 fee is described two ways, and Trustpilot has hidden the rating. More: ThinkCapital profile.
FundingPips accepts US forex traders on Match-Trader, best for weekly rewards if crypto payouts suit you
Verdict: FundingPips admits US residents on Match-Trader only. The 2 Step Pro $50K is $249, or $224.10 with FP for new users, rated 4.5 on 69,370 reviews. It ranks low because no rail is confirmed for a US bank. The MT5-only Prime Account, FundingPips’ invite-only path to scale a funded account up toward $2 million, is closed to US clients outright: its own terms say “US clients are not eligible to transition at this time,” so a US trader’s payout ceiling tops out at the Master Account level.
