How the Lightning account works

The current 25K Lightning account uses a $1,000 end-of-day trailing maximum drawdown, no daily loss limit, a one-mini or 10-micro position cap, and progressive payout consistency starting at 20%.

A payout goal is only one part of eligibility. Traders should save the exact rule version and verify how open equity, closed balance, daily resets, consistency, approved trading times, position limits, and prohibited conduct are measured. Evidence validation does not replace checking the firm’s current rules for the selected account.

Lightning cost boundary

The official pricing reference lists a $345 one-time purchase. There is no recurring bill, activation fee, or reset; a failed account requires a new purchase. Trading commissions and optional data can add cost.

The practical cost to first payout can include repeated subscriptions, resets, taxes, platform or data upgrades, and post-pass charges. It also depends on how long the evaluation takes and whether a payout request meets every funded-stage condition. Compare the exact route at checkout and do not combine a lower price from one path with rules from another.

What happens after starting Lightning

There is no evaluation to pass. The simulated funded account can work toward payouts immediately, but the first payout requires a $1,500 cycle profit goal and 20% consistency. Eligible 25K requests are fixed at $1,000 under the current policy.

The $25K label describes program buying power or virtual starting balance, not a cash amount placed in the trader’s personal brokerage account. The funded-stage agreement controls account classification, risk limits, payout qualification, profit share, fees, and any move to live capital.

Who the Lightning program may fit

  • Traders who want to skip an evaluation.
  • Traders whose sizing fits one mini or 10 micros.
  • Traders who can meet the progressive payout consistency rule.

Lightning cautions

  • There is no reset after failure.
  • Straight-to-funded means simulated trading at this stage.
  • The payout profit goal and fixed withdrawal amount are different figures.

What to verify before buying Lightning

  • Current price, billing interval, reset terms, taxes, and every post-pass charge.
  • Profit target, daily loss, maximum loss, drawdown timing, consistency, and position limits.
  • Evaluation, simulated funded, and live funded rules as separate stages.
  • Payout timing, minimum request, buffer, caps, profit split, KYC, and payment method.
  • Country, citizenship, platform, data, and exchange eligibility for the exact account.
  • Any official change after August 21, 2026, with a full recheck no later than August 28, 2026.
