Lucid Trading vs Tradeify Comparison

Lucid Trading and Tradeify sell almost the same shape of product: one-time-fee futures evaluations with no activation fee, a 90/10 split in the funded stage, a daily-payout plan, a five-winning-day plan, an instant-funding option and a path to live capital. The differences sit in the details: how the funded drawdown moves, how much each payout can be, which platforms you can use, what happens on news days and how the live account is paid.

Advanced checks before paying
  • Check the funded drawdown, not the evaluation one. LucidDaily switches to an intraday trail once funded; every Tradeify funded account stays end of day.
  • Add the reset price and round-trip commissions to the evaluation price. Promo codes at both firms are time-limited; Tradeify’s current code shows an October 15 end date.
  • Check the buffer, the minimum request, the per-payout cap and, for Tradeify Select, the purchase date: caps changed for accounts bought after September 1, 2026.
  • Confirm your country, your platform’s data route and the inactivity rule (one trade a week at Tradeify, one $1 net result every 30 days at Lucid).

Short answer:Lucid Trading vs Tradeify is one of the closest matchups in futures prop trading. Both firms sell one-time-fee evaluations with no activation fee, both pay 90/10 in the funded stage, and both run a daily-payout plan (LucidDaily and Select Daily), a five-winning-day plan (LucidFlex and Select Flex) and an instant-funding account (LucidDirect and Lightning Funded). Lucid is cheaper at most sizes once each firm’s own code is applied, gives a 25K account 2 minis instead of 1, supports more Rithmic platforms and only deletes idle accounts after 30 days. Tradeify keeps an end-of-day drawdown on every funded account, allows news trading on every plan, takes crypto at checkout, pays larger Select Flex payouts and has no limit on how many sim payouts you take, but its Select Daily caps each request at $600–$2,500 and its Elite Live accounts pay 80/20. Neither firm is better for everyone; match the plan to how you trade.

This page compares Lucid Trading and Tradeify plan by plan. People search it both ways, as Tradeify vs Lucid and Lucid vs Tradeify; the answer is the same. Every number below comes from each firm’s own website and help centre, read on October 13, 2026, and each section links to its source. Where a firm’s own pages disagree, we say so.

Checked October 13, 2026: lucidtrading.com, support.lucidtrading.com, tradeify.co and help.tradeify.co. Prices with codes are calculated from the published list price and the firm’s own published code; they were not verified by purchase.

Both firms run simulated evaluation and funded accounts. Payouts from the funded stage are paid from simulated profits under each firm’s rules, and only a small share of traders reach live capital. This is educational research, not financial advice.

Plan lineups and how they pair up

The two lineups mirror each other closely, which makes this one of the few prop-firm comparisons where every plan has a direct counterpart. This is how they pair up.

If you are looking at…Lucid planTradeify planMain difference
Daily payouts, 90/10LucidDailySelect DailyLucidDaily lets you withdraw everything above the buffer, but its funded drawdown is intraday and red-folder news is a breach. Select Daily keeps an EOD drawdown and allows news, but caps each request at 2× profit since the last payout, up to $600 / $1,250 / $1,750 / $2,500.
Payout every five winning days, 50% of profitLucidFlexSelect FlexSame idea. Select Flex caps are higher above 25K ($2,500 vs $2,000 at 50K) and its minimum request is $250 instead of $500. LucidFlex passes in 2 days; Select needs 3 (2 with the 50% add-on).

Tradeify has legacy accounts bought before September 12, 2025 and a Legacy Live program for accounts bought before December 3, 2025. Neither firm’s legacy terms are part of this comparison. Prices at 25K, 50K, 100K and 150K

Both firms publish list prices and then advertise their own discount codes. Lucid’s homepage reads “FOR THE BEST DEAL USE CODE: VAULT”, which takes 30% off all four plans, plus a limited-time $5 or $10 discount when you keep the daily loss limit on for LucidPro and LucidFlex. Tradeify’s banner reads “GET 30% OFF WITH CODE ‘GEMS’”, ending October 15, 11:59 PM EST, and its plan cards show the coded price. Tradeify also gives 5% off a bundle of five identical Growth or Select 25K/50K evaluations bought in one checkout. BestProps has no codes of its own; our Lucid Trading deals page tracks Lucid’s current offers.

Resets and other costs

  • Lucid resets are bought from the dashboard and restore the evaluation. List reset prices: LucidPro $75 / $120 / $190 / $255, LucidFlex $55 / $95 / $180 / $260, LucidDaily EOD $65 / $95 / $155 / $220 and intraday $55 / $75 / $125 / $180 (25K / 50K / 100K / 150K). The VAULT code does not reduce resets; the DLL-on discount does, so the 50K LucidPro card shows a $115 reset. LucidDirect has no reset, and a breached evaluation is deleted after 30 days unless you reset it.
  • Tradeify resets: Growth $60 / $95 / $169 / $229, Select $75 / $109 / $169 / $239, Select with the 50% add-on $90 / $135 / $209 / $299. Each Select evaluation can be reset up to 10 times in 30 days. Lightning Funded, the Select 300K and every sim funded account cannot be reset; you buy a new one. Whether the GEMS code applies to resets is not stated.
  • Daily loss limit choice: at Lucid, turning the daily loss limit off costs $10 to $60 more depending on plan and size, and the choice is permanent for that account. Tradeify does not sell that option; each plan has a fixed rule (no limit on Select evaluations and Select Flex, a soft limit on Growth, Lightning 50K–150K and Select Daily).
  • Market data: both firms include Level 1 CME data for non-professional traders. At Tradeify you must sign the non-professional agreement on your first Tradovate login or you may be charged a $300 professional data fee; Lucid’s setup guide says a professional trader pays $112 per exchange per month, so sign as non-professional there too.
  • Refunds: Lucid has a “strict no refund policy for accounts that have been traded” and may consider an untraded account at its discretion. Tradeify says all sales are final, traded or not, and crypto purchases are non-refundable.

Profit targets, minimum days and time to get funded

Targets match from 50K up: $3,000 at 50K, $6,000 at 100K and $9,000 at 150K. At 25K Lucid asks for $1,250 and Tradeify for $1,500. The real difference is how many days the evaluation consistency rule forces you to trade.

Plan (50K)TargetMax loss limitMinimum daysEvaluation consistencyEvaluation daily loss limit
LucidPro$3,000$2,000 EOD1None$1,200 if you keep it on
LucidFlex$3,000$2,000 EOD2 in practice (50% rule with a small cushion)50%$1,200 if you keep it on
LucidDaily$3,000$2,000 EOD or intraday (your choice)2 in practice50%$1,200 if you keep it on
LucidDirectNo evaluation$2,000 EOD (funded)Trade from purchase; 5 days before a payout20% in the funded stage$1,200 (funded)
Tradeify Growth$3,000$2,000 EOD1None$1,250 (soft)
Tradeify Select$3,000$2,000 EOD3 (2 with the 50% add-on)40% (50% with the add-on)None
Tradeify LightningNo evaluation$2,000 EOD (funded)None before a payout20% for payout 1 in the funded stage$1,250 (funded)

Max loss limits at the other sizes: Lucid evaluations use $1,000 / $2,000 / $3,000 / $4,500 on every plan. Tradeify Select uses the same, while Growth uses $1,000 / $2,000 / $3,500 / $5,000, so Growth gives $500 more room at 100K and the same extra at 150K.

Upgrade timing. Lucid says its evaluations upgrade to funded in real time, 5–30 minutes after you hit the target, and there is no time limit to pass. Tradeify says you can activate the funded account from the dashboard once all conditions are met; its FAQ adds that you may need to wait for the dashboard update between 5 PM and 8 PM EST, and there is no time limit either. Tradeify caps Growth activations at 5 funded accounts per day.

Contract size during the evaluation. Lucid allows 2 / 4 / 6 / 10 minis (or ten times as many micros). Tradeify allows 1 / 4 / 8 / 12. A 25K Lucid account therefore trades twice the size of a 25K Tradeify account, while Tradeify’s 100K and 150K accounts allow more contracts than Lucid’s.

Drawdown rules: EOD, intraday and when they lock

Both firms trail the maximum loss limit from the highest balance until you build a small cushion, then lock it $100 above the starting balance. The differences are which funded accounts trail intraday and how big the loss limit is on the instant accounts.

PlanEvaluation drawdownFunded drawdownFunded loss limit (25K / 50K / 100K / 150K)Where it locks
LucidPro / LucidFlexEODEOD$1,000 / $2,000 / $3,000 / $4,500Start + $100 once the balance closes above $26,100 / $52,100 / $103,100 / $154,600. On Flex it also locks there as soon as you request a payout.
LucidDailyEOD or intradayIntraday$1,000 / $2,000 / $3,000 / $4,500Start + $100 after the same trail balances
LucidDirectNo evaluationEOD$1,000 / $2,000 / $3,500 / $5,000Start + $100 after $26,100 / $52,100 / $103,600 / $155,100

Tradeify Select FlexEODEOD$1,000 / $2,000 / $3,000 / $4,500Start + $100 after $26,100 / $52,100 / $103,100 / $154,600, or immediately when you request a payout
Tradeify Select DailyEODEOD$1,000 / $2,000 / $2,500 / $3,500Start + $100 after $26,100 / $52,100 / $102,600 / $153,600
Tradeify LightningNo evaluationEOD$1,000 / $2,000 / $4,000 / $5,250Start + $100 once the EOD balance exceeds the drawdown by $100

EOD does not mean you can ignore intraday losses. Tradeify states plainly that its end-of-day drawdown only moves at the close but is enforced in real time against your net liquidation value, so touching it intraday fails the account. Lucid’s EOD accounts work the same way.

Intraday versus EOD in practice. An intraday trail moves with open profit. If a 50K LucidDaily funded trade runs $1,200 in your favour and you give it all back, the floor has already risen $1,200 and your remaining room is $800, not $2,000. On Tradeify Select Daily the same round trip leaves the floor where it was, because it only moves on closing balances. If you trade a daily-payout plan and let winners run, that is the single biggest difference between these two firms. Our EOD drawdown prop firm list compares more firms on this.

Smaller funded drawdown on Select Daily. At 100K and 150K, Tradeify’s Select Daily funded account has a smaller loss limit ($2,500 and $3,500) than the evaluation you passed ($3,000 and $4,500). LucidDaily keeps the evaluation-size loss limit in the funded stage.

Daily loss limits

  • Lucid: every daily loss limit is a soft breach that stops trading until the next session. On LucidPro, LucidFlex and LucidDaily you choose at checkout whether to have one ($600 / $1,200 / $1,800 / $2,700; LucidPro’s help article lists none at 25K, while the 25K homepage card shows $600). On LucidPro and LucidDirect, once the funded balance closes above the trail balance the fixed limit is replaced by the LucidScale limit: 60% of your highest end-of-day profit, which never decreases. LucidDirect 25K has no daily limit.
  • Tradeify: also a soft breach that pauses trading until 6:00 PM ET. Growth: $600 / $1,250 / $2,500 / $3,750. Lightning: none / $1,250 / $2,500 / $3,000. Select Daily funded: $500 / $1,000 / $1,250 / $1,750. Select evaluations and Select Flex have none. On Growth and Lightning the limit rises to the drawdown amount from the next session once the account is 6% in profit (for example $2,000 on 50K).
  • Both firms warn that the daily limit is not a stop loss: slippage can carry you past it, and if the drawdown floor is closer than the daily limit you fail the account first.

Consistency rules and minimum trading days

Both firms use the same formula: your largest single-day profit divided by total profit must be at or under the plan’s percentage. Missing it never fails the account at either firm; you keep trading until the ratio is back in line.

Worked example, 50K evaluation. Say your best day is $1,400. LucidFlex and LucidDaily (50% with a cushion that allows a $1,560 day at the exact target) pass at $3,000. Tradeify Select with the 50% add-on also passes at $3,000. Standard Select (40%) needs $3,500 of total profit before it passes, because $1,400 ÷ 0.40 = $3,500. Growth and LucidPro have no evaluation consistency, so $3,000 is enough on any number of days.

Worked example, funded. A $1,000 best day needs $2,500 of cycle profit on LucidPro (40%) and $2,857 on Tradeify Growth (35%). On the instant accounts a $700 best day needs $3,500 on LucidDirect (20%) and on Lightning’s first payout (20%). From Lightning’s second payout the rule loosens to 25%, so the same $700 day needs $2,800; LucidDirect stays at 20%. Select Flex, Select Daily, LucidFlex and LucidDaily have no funded consistency rule at all. Our Lucid Trading consistency rule guide works through more examples.

Source conflicts worth knowing. Lucid’s LucidPro and LucidDirect funded-account pages say “No simulated payout caps”, while their payout articles publish the per-request maximums shown above; we use the payout articles. Lucid’s LucidFlex article says “50% of their account balance” in one sentence and “50% of Profit” in its table; the table matches the rest of Lucid’s material. Tradeify’s homepage shows Lightning with “Payout Frequency: 5 Days”, while its Lightning payout policy says there is no minimum number of trading days; we follow the policy article. Tradeify’s “Which plan is right for you?” article still quotes older price ranges ($95–$215 for Select, $99–$349 for Growth, $349–$729 for Lightning) that do not match its October 12 pricing reference or the live cards.

What this shows: on the five-day plans, the two firms pay the same until profit reaches about $4,000 at 50K; above that, Select Flex’s higher cap pays more per request. On the one-day-pass plans LucidPro’s first payout cap is higher, but Growth’s cap rises to $3,000 from payout 4, above LucidPro’s $2,500. On the daily plans, LucidDaily lets a big cycle come out in one request, while Select Daily releases it over several requests. The instant accounts pay the same first payout.

Who each suits. LucidDaily suits a trader who has occasional large days and wants to withdraw them at once, accepts an intraday trail and can stay flat around red-folder releases. Select Daily suits a trader with steady daily profits who wants an end-of-day floor and freedom to trade news, and who is happy to take money out in smaller pieces. Our LucidDaily rules and payouts page covers Lucid’s plan in full.

LucidDirect vs Tradeify Lightning Funded

Both instant accounts skip the evaluation, and their payout tables are close to identical. The differences are price, drawdown at the larger sizes and how the consistency rule moves.
