Lucid Trading sells four current account types, all in 25K, 50K, 100K and 150K sizes, all for a one-time fee with a 90/10 profit split. LucidPro has a one-day evaluation but a 40% consistency rule and a payout buffer once funded, with caps that rise after the first payout. LucidFlex has a 50% consistency rule in the evaluation, none once funded, no buffer, and flat caps of 50% of profit up to $1,000 to $3,000. LucidDaily allows daily payouts with no funded consistency rule, but its funded drawdown is intraday and trading red-folder US news is a hard breach. LucidDirect skips the evaluation for a much higher fee and adds a 20% consistency rule. Steady traders tend to fit Pro, traders with a few big days fit Flex, traders who want cash every day fit Daily, and Direct suits only traders who would rather pay than take an evaluation. You can hold up to 5 funded accounts per household. Checked against Lucid’s help centre and pricing page on October 13, 2026.

This page compares every Lucid Trading account side by side: what each plan costs, how the evaluation and funded rules differ, how payouts work, how much you can withdraw before Lucid’s live review, and which account fits which trading style. Every number was read from Lucid’s own help centre and the pricing data on its homepage on October 13, 2026. We did not buy an account, so prices are as published, not verified by purchase. Lucid changes its plans often and runs different terms for accounts bought on different dates, so check the linked source before you buy.

Lucid Trading Accounts at a Glance

All four current plans share the same sizes, the same maximum position size per size and the same profit split. They differ in how you qualify (evaluation or none), which consistency rule applies and when, the daily loss limit, the drawdown type, and how payouts are capped. Current plans vs legacy plans

The four plans above are the ones on sale on October 13, 2026. LucidBlack is a legacy plan that is no longer on Lucid’s pricing page, and LucidMaxx is invite-only. Pro, Flex and Direct accounts bought or reset on or before February 27, 2026 follow legacy live terms (a sixth payout and a move-to-live cap), and Pro accounts bought or reset before November 28, 2025 at 3:00 PM EST keep a 35% consistency rule and 100% of the first $10,000. If your account is older, check the legacy section below before using any number on this page.

Which Lucid Trading Account Is Best?

There is no single best Lucid Trading account; the right one depends on how your profit arrives. The deciding rules are the funded consistency rule, the buffer and the payout caps, not the evaluation, because the evaluation targets and drawdowns are the same on Pro, Flex and Daily.

  • Choose LucidPro if your days are steady. If your best day is rarely more than about a third of a week’s profit, the 40% rule will not bind, you get a one-day evaluation, full size from the first funded trade, and caps that rise from payout 2. You pay more than Flex on the 25K to 100K sizes and you must leave a buffer in the account.
  • Choose LucidFlex if your profit comes in bursts. One big day does not block a Flex payout, and there is no buffer. In exchange you need five qualifying profit days per cycle, you can only take 50% of profit, the caps never rise, and a funded scaling plan limits size until you build profit.
  • Choose LucidDaily if you want to be paid every day. Daily has no per-request cap and no funded consistency rule, but the funded drawdown is intraday (it trails your open profit), you must be flat around high-impact US news, and hitting the maximum daily profit moves the account to Lucid’s live review.
  • Choose LucidDirect only if you will pay to avoid an evaluation. Direct costs roughly two to four times a Pro or Flex evaluation of the same size, its first payout goal equals or exceeds the evaluation target on every size, and its 20% consistency rule means at least five profitable days per cycle.
  1. Look at your last 20 trading days. Divide your best day by your total profit. Above 40% most cycles: Pro will make you wait. Above 20%: Direct will make you wait longer.
  2. Check whether you hold through news. If you trade US CPI, FOMC or payrolls releases, LucidDaily’s funded account is out.
  3. Check your stop style. Wide intraday swings in open profit hurt more on Daily’s intraday funded drawdown than on the end-of-day drawdown of the other three.
  4. Decide how you want to be paid. Fewer, larger requests suit Pro (larger caps from payout 2). Small regular withdrawals suit Daily. Flex sits in between with five-day cycles.
  5. Then compare price. Only after the rules fit should you compare the fee; the cheapest plan is the wrong one if its payout rule blocks your style.

Lucid Trading Pricing: What Each Account Costs

Every Lucid account is a one-time fee with no monthly subscription and no activation fee (Simulated Account Fees). The table shows list prices from the pricing data on lucidtrading.com, read on October 13, 2026. The homepage banner promotes the code VAULT, which that data sets at 30% off every plan and size, and 0% off resets. Pro and Flex also carry a limited-time discount of $5 (25K, 50K) or $10 (100K, 150K) when you leave the daily loss limit on. Switching the daily loss limit off adds a fee that the code does not reduce. These prices were read from Lucid’s public pages on October 13, 2026; not verified by purchase.

How we calculated the code columns: list price less 30%, less the DLL-on discount where it applies, or plus the DLL-off fee. On the check date the LucidPro cards rendered the same totals we calculated ($70.60, $115.40, $180.40 and $245.50 with the code and the DLL on), which confirms the method. The LucidDirect card shows a daily loss limit switch on the 50K to 150K sizes, but the pricing data lists no fee for switching it off, so that price is not published here.

  • Cheapest Lucid account: a 25K LucidFlex with the DLL on, about $50.30 with the code, followed by the 25K LucidDaily with an intraday evaluation drawdown at $55.30.
  • Flex is cheaper than Pro on 25K to 100K ($79 vs $108, $136 vs $172, $258 vs $272 list); on 150K, Pro is $7 cheaper ($365 vs $372).
  • LucidDirect costs the most: $329 to $836 list, about 3.0 times a Pro 50K and 3.8 times a Flex 50K before discounts.
  • Daily has two prices per size: an intraday evaluation drawdown is cheaper than an end-of-day one; the funded Daily account is intraday either way.

Payment is by card only: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Diners Club and Maestro (Accepted Payment Methods). Lucid’s General FAQ says it does not accept crypto payments. Commissions are the same on every plan, for example $1.75 per side on ES and NQ and $0.50 on MES and MNQ (Approved Products and Commissions). Current codes and promotions are tracked on our Lucid Trading deals page, linked at the end of this guide.

Evaluation Rules Compared: Pro, Flex and Daily

Pro, Flex and Daily use the same profit targets, the same max loss limits and the same contract limits (LucidPro Evaluation, LucidFlex Evaluation, LucidDaily Evaluation). All three have no time limit and upgrade to funded within 5 to 30 minutes of hitting the target, with no activation fee. The difference is the consistency rule and the drawdown type.

The 50% rule on Flex and Daily has a small cushion: Lucid’s example tables allow a largest day of $650 on 25K, $1,560 on 50K, $3,120 on 100K, $4,680 on 150K when you finish exactly at the target, about 52% of the target (LucidFlex Consistency, LucidDaily Consistency). A large day does not fail a Flex or Daily evaluation; it raises the finish line. On a 50K, a $2,000 first day means about $4,000 of total profit is needed instead of $3,000. On Pro, the same $2,000 day followed by a $1,000 day passes.

A LucidPro conflict worth knowing

Lucid’s LucidPro Daily Loss Limit article (last updated in July 2026) lists no daily loss limit on the 25K Pro. The newer LucidPro Funded Account and LucidPro Customization articles and the pricing card list a $600 optional limit on the 25K. The newer pages and the live pricing card are the ones that describe what you buy today.

Funded Account Rules Compared

This is where the plans really split. All four funded accounts are simulated accounts that pay real money; live capital only comes later through Lucid’s live program.

  • LucidPro: full size from the first funded trade and a daily loss limit that grows: once the balance closes above the initial trail balance, the fixed limit is replaced by 60% of your highest end-of-day profit, and it never shrinks (LucidPro DLL).
  • LucidFlex: the scaling plan starts the 50K at 2 minis until you have $1,000 of profit and reaches 4 minis at $2,000; the 150K starts at 4 minis and reaches 10 at $4,500 (LucidFlex Scaling Plan). The first payout request locks the MLL at the starting balance plus $100 (LucidFlex Drawdown).
  • LucidDaily: the funded account always uses an intraday drawdown, even if you chose end of day for the evaluation (LucidDaily Drawdown). Its fixed daily loss limit does not trail, so the MLL can become the tighter limit during a good session (LucidDaily DLL).
  • LucidDirect: the 100K and 150K have wider drawdowns than the evaluation plans ($3,500 and $5,000), and the 25K has no daily loss limit at all (LucidDirect Funded Account).
LucidDaily news rule

Trading high-impact USD news in a LucidDaily funded account is a hard breach. You must be flat from 1 minute before to 1 minute after the release (LucidDaily Funded Account). News trading is allowed on Pro, Flex and Direct (Other Trading Activities).

Payout Rules Compared

Every plan has a $500 minimum request, a 90/10 split, no fixed payout window, and payouts sent within 2 business days of approval according to each plan’s payout article. Lucid’s General FAQ adds that Plaid payouts typically arrive in 5 to 15 minutes. What changes is when you qualify and how much you can take.

Sizes in this table run 25K / 50K / 100K / 150K. Two consequences of the consistency rules are easy to miss. A 40% rule means no fewer than three profitable days in a Pro cycle, which is why Lucid’s Pro card says “3 days to payout”. A 20% rule means no fewer than five profitable days in a Direct cycle, matching the Direct card’s “Min Day to Payout 5”.

How much you can withdraw before the live review

Pro, Flex and Direct each allow five payouts before the account enters Lucid’s live review pool. If you take the maximum every time, the totals and the trading profit needed to reach them look like this (gross, before the 90/10 split):

Five maximum payouts: total requested / total trading profit needed
Account sizeLucidProLucidFlexLucidDirect
25K$7,000 / $8,100$5,000 / $6,000$5,000 / $6,500
50K$12,000 / $14,100$10,000 / $12,000$11,000 / $13,000
100K$14,500 / $17,600$12,500 / $15,000$13,500 / $20,000
150K$17,000 / $21,600$15,000 / $18,000$16,000 / $27,000

Pro pays the most in total on every size, because its caps rise after the first payout, but the first payout needs the buffer plus the cap ($4,100 of profit on a 50K). Flex needs twice the cap in profit for every full request at first, then one cap per cycle, and leaves one cap of profit in the account. Direct needs the most profit for the least money: on a 150K, $27,000 of trading profit for $16,000 of payouts, because each cycle’s profit goal is higher than its cap. LucidDaily has no per-request cap; instead, a day that reaches the maximum daily profit ($6,000 on 25K, $8,000 on 50K, $10,000 on 100K, $12,000 on 150K) moves the trader into the live review.

These totals assume every request is at the cap and that the simulated profit left in the account is not withdrawn. Under Lucid’s current live structure, simulated profit left in an account does not carry over to the live account.

LucidPro vs LucidFlex: Which Should You Pick?

Lucid Pro vs Lucid Flex is the choice most traders face, because both have low entry prices and the same evaluation targets. The table compares them on the two most bought sizes.

Worked example: a trader with one big day

On a funded 50K, you make $2,000 on Monday and $150 on each of the next four days, so the cycle profit is $2,600. On Flex you have five days of at least $150 and positive profit, so you can request 50% of $2,600 = $1,300 ($1,170 after the split). On Pro, $2,000 is 77% of $2,600, above the 40% limit; you need total cycle profit of $5,000 before the Monday day falls to 40%, so you keep trading and cannot request yet.

Worked example: a steady trader

Same 50K, but you make $700 a day for six days ($4,200). On Pro, your largest day is 17% of cycle profit, the balance of $54,200 clears the $52,100 buffer by $2,100, and the first payout cap is $2,000, so you request $2,000 ($1,800 to you). On Flex you can request 50% of $4,200 = $2,100, capped at $2,000. From the second payout Pro allows $2,500 per request while Flex stays at $2,000.

What traders say about Lucid Pro vs Flex on Reddit

We read four r/LucidProp threads that rank for this question on October 13, 2026 (“Flex or Pro”, “Lucid Flex Vs Pro?”, “Flex or Pro?” and “Flex or pro for copy trading?”, posted three to six months earlier). Traders who prefer Pro cite the one-day pass, the shorter cycle (several mention three days to payout against five), larger caps from the second payout and no funded scaling plan. Traders who prefer Flex cite the lack of a funded consistency rule for big runner trades, the lower price and the absence of a buffer. Several replies say switching plans will not fix a trader who keeps blowing accounts, and some posts mix up the two plans’ drawdown types (both are end of day). These are personal opinions, not verified data.

LucidDaily: Daily Payouts With Tighter Risk Rules

LucidDaily is the only Lucid plan with daily payout requests and no per-request cap: you can withdraw whatever is above the buffer ($26,100 on 25K, $52,100 on 50K, $103,100 on 100K, $154,600 on 150K) once you have made any net profit since your last payout (LucidDaily Payouts). The trade-offs are the intraday funded drawdown, the news ban and the maximum daily profit, which acts as a ceiling rather than a cap: meet or exceed it and the account moves to Lucid’s live review.

LucidDaily funded numbers by size
Account sizeBuffer balanceProfit needed for a first $500 payoutMaximum daily profit (moves you to live review)
25K$26,100$1,600$6,000
50K$52,100$2,600$8,000
100K$103,100$3,600$10,000
150K$154,600$5,100$12,000

Daily lets you pick two settings at checkout: the daily loss limit on or off, and an end-of-day or intraday evaluation drawdown, giving four versions from cheapest (DLL on, intraday) to most expensive (DLL off, end of day). You cannot change them on an active account (LucidDaily Customization).

LucidDirect: Paying to Skip the Evaluation

LucidDirect starts you in a funded account immediately (LucidDirect Funded Account). The catch is that the payout rules do much of what an evaluation would do: the first profit goal is $1,500 on 25K, $3,000 on 50K, $6,000 on 100K, $9,000 on 150K, equal to or above the evaluation target on every size, and the 20% consistency rule is the strictest at Lucid (LucidDirect Consistency).

LucidDirect vs taking a LucidPro evaluation first (prices with code and DLL on, read October 13, 2026)
Account sizeLucidDirect priceLucidPro eval priceDirect: profit before payout 1Pro: eval target + funded profit for a first $500 payout

150K$585.20$245.50$9,000$14,100

What the premium buys is a shorter road to the first payout: on every size, the Direct profit goal is lower than a Pro evaluation target plus the funded profit a Pro account needs before its first $500 request (the funded account starts again at the starting balance). What it costs is the fee, a 20% consistency rule that needs at least five profitable days per cycle, and profit goals that stay above the caps on every later payout.

Direct makes sense for a trader who values a single fee and no pass/fail stage, or who has blown several evaluations through overtrading. For most traders, a Pro or Flex evaluation plus a reset costs less than one Direct account. Lucid’s pricing card lists no reset fee for Direct, and its FAQ says resets apply to evaluation accounts only.

The Lucid Trading 25K Account on Each Plan

The 25K is Lucid’s cheapest size and the one most new traders start with. Here is the same size across all four plans.

On a 25K, the $1,000 drawdown leaves little room: the Pro and Daily buffer means you need $1,600 of profit before a $500 request, while Flex needs $1,000. A single minimum payout of $500 ($450 after the split) covers the code price of any 25K evaluation.
