TL;DR: TradeFundrr is a New York prop firm (TradeFundrr, LLC, 88 Pine Street) that funds US stock and options day traders, not forex or futures traders. On October 11, 2026 it sold three paths in each market. Pre-Prop costs $599 plus $99 a month and has a no-time-limit evaluation. Prop costs $1,499 plus $99 a month, has no evaluation, and the $1,499 comes back with your first qualifying payout. Pro asks you to put in your own capital for up to 20x buying power. Stock accounts come with $100,000 of buying power and options accounts with $25,000. Both have a $1,000 daily loss limit and a $3,000 trailing drawdown. You need five profitable days of at least $250 and $1,250 in total profit before a payout, and no single day can be more than 30% of the total. You can withdraw only 50% of your profit per cycle, payouts are processed on Fridays through Rise, and you keep 80%. Trustpilot shows 4.2 from 83 reviews. The firm is a real, reachable company with a named founder and a FINRA-registered trading partner, but its terms say the funded accounts are simulated, even though its sales pages say “real capital”. Read the rules below before you pay.

Research status: We checked this review on October 11, 2026 against TradeFundrr’s own pages. Those were the stock and options program pages, the Pro pages, the help centre, the Terms and Conditions (last updated October 9, 2026), the Return Policy and the Fee Refund Policy. We read Trustpilot, Reddit and FINRA BrokerCheck the same day. We did not buy an account, so anything that only shows after purchase is printed as TradeFundrr publishes it and was not tested. Prices and rules at this firm changed as recently as October 5, 2026, so recheck them at checkout.

TradeFundrr review verdict: is it legit?

TradeFundrr is a legitimate, operating business in the basic sense. It names its company (TradeFundrr, LLC, registered in New York), publishes a street address, phone number and email, sells accounts through a working checkout, and keeps a detailed help centre with rule articles dated October 5, 2026. It names a founder, Christian Bose, and two trading partners, T3 Trading Group, LLC and T3 Global. FINRA’s BrokerCheck lists T3 Trading Group, LLC as an active broker-dealer (CRD 154431) at the same 88 Pine Street address. Trustpilot reviewers report being paid, and the firm replies to every negative review there.

That does not make it a good fit for everyone. These are the points that decide it:

  • It is a stocks and options firm only. Futures and crypto programs were sold in the past, but the current site offers only stocks and options. That makes it one of a small group of options-friendly prop firms.
  • The accounts are small for the price. $100,000 of stock buying power with a $3,000 trailing drawdown, or $25,000 of options buying power with the same $3,000 drawdown, plus a $99 monthly fee on every path.
  • Payouts are slow to build. You can request only 50% of your profit per cycle, cycle caps start at $1,000 (Pre-Prop) or $2,000 (Prop), and every payout resets the five-day requirement.
  • Total payouts are capped. After $25,000 in payouts in one market, the help centre says you are moved to the firm’s live trading partner, so you do not keep trading this program indefinitely.
  • “Real capital” versus simulated. The sales pages say Prop traders “trade real capital”. The Terms and the Fee Refund Policy say the funded accounts are simulated. We explain this below.
  • The Prop fee refund is real money back. The full $1,499 Prop fee is added to your first qualifying payout, once per market, for life. That is a genuine cost advantage if you reach a payout.

Our view: TradeFundrr is a transparent firm with hard rules, and it is best for disciplined intraday stock or options traders who can grind out several small green days. It is a poor fit for swing traders, overnight option sellers, and anyone who needs large position sizes. It is not a scam on the evidence we read, but the “real money” marketing goes further than the firm’s own legal terms.

Two details matter for trust. First, TradeFundrr itself is not a broker-dealer and says so: “TradeFundrr is not a broker-dealer, investment adviser, or financial planner.” Second, the T3 link is a partnership, not a client relationship. Its disclosure says joining a TradeFundrr program “does not constitute a client relationship with these partners unless and until a separate agreement is executed”. When BrokerCheck shows T3 as active, that tells you about T3, not about TradeFundrr’s evaluation business. BrokerCheck also flags that T3 Trading Group has disclosure events on record. You can read them yourself on its BrokerCheck page.

TradeFundrr is not TraderFunder

Searches for TradeFundrr reviews often return Trustpilot pages for TraderFunder (traderfunder.com). That is a different company with a similar name. Its ratings, review counts and complaints have nothing to do with TradeFundrr. The correct TradeFundrr Trustpilot profile is trustpilot.com/review/tradefundrr.com, and the correct website is tradefundrr.com (note the “rr”).

How TradeFundrr works

You first pick a market (stocks or options) and then a path. The firm renamed its products on or around October 5, 2026. Prop accounts were previously sold as “Express Funding”, and the help centre still holds articles for older programs called Incubator, Instant Funding, Fundrr Flex, Growth and Growth Plus. Ignore those when you research current rules.

  1. Choose stocks or options. Stock accounts get $100,000 of buying power. Options accounts get $25,000.
  2. Choose Pre-Prop, Prop or Pro. Pre-Prop is a simulated evaluation. Prop skips the evaluation. Pro requires a capital contribution and an application.
  3. Sign the market data agreements in the dashboard, then log in to the platform. The help centre’s getting-started guides make this step one.
  4. Trade intraday only, within the $1,000 daily loss limit and the $3,000 trailing drawdown. All positions close at the end of the session.
  5. Hit the payout requirements: five profitable sessions of at least $250 net, $1,250 total profit, and no day above 30% of the total.
  6. Request a payout of up to 50% of your profit. Requests made by Wednesday are processed that Friday through Rise.

Pros and cons

Pros Cons

Prop fee ($1,499) returned with the first qualifying payout Pre-Prop fee ($599) never returned, and all sales are final
Pre-Prop evaluation has no time limit and no promotion fee Only 50% of profit can be withdrawn per cycle, with cycle caps
Daily loss limit is a soft breach: trading pauses, the account stays open $3,000 trailing drawdown is small against $100,000 of stock buying power
Options spreads, iron condors and butterflies allowed No overnight or swing positions; options close at 3:55 PM ET
Named founder, New York address and phone line Terms call funded accounts simulated; sales pages say “real capital”
Weekly Friday payout processing $25,000 lifetime payout cap per market before a move to a live partner
Trustpilot 4.2 with replies to every negative review Only 83 Trustpilot reviews, and Reddit discussion is thin

The Pre-Prop page lists only the five $250 days for the evaluation. The help centre’s consistency article says the evaluation also needs $1,250 in total profit and the 30% rule. Five days at exactly $250 meets both, so in practice the difference only bites if one of your days is much larger than the others.

TradeFundrr pricing and what you really pay

Every path has two charges: a one-time program fee and a $99 monthly subscription. The firm says the monthly fee covers live market data, the platform, risk systems and support. Commissions come on top and reduce the net profit that counts toward your qualifying days.

Cost item Amount Notes
Pre-Prop program fee $599 Not refundable; no extra fee when promoted to Prop
Prop program fee $1,499 Returned as a bonus on the first qualifying payout, once per customer per market, for life
Monthly subscription $99 Pre-Prop and Prop; stops automatically if a Pre-Prop account closes during the evaluation
Pre-Prop reset $199 A reset in the Prop step sends you back to the Pre-Prop step; Prop accounts cannot be reset
Stock commissions $0.005 per share, per side 1,000 shares in and out costs $10
Options commissions $0.30 per contract, per side A 10-lot iron condor (40 contracts) costs $24 to open and close
Pro No program fee Requires a capital contribution that is at risk
Payment methods Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Diners Club All charges in US dollars; sales tax may be added

How much does a $100,000 funded account cost at TradeFundrr? The $100,000 stock Prop account costs $1,499 up front plus $99 a month. If you reach your first qualifying payout in the first month, the $1,499 comes back with it, so your net cost is the $99 monthly fee plus commissions. If you never reach a payout, you lose the $1,499 and every month you paid.

Worked cost scenarios

Scenario Pre-Prop Prop
Fail in the first month $599 + $99 = $698 lost $1,499 + $99 = $1,598 lost
Fail once, reset, then keep going (Pre-Prop) / buy a second account (Prop) $698 + $199 reset = $897 before the next month’s fee $1,598 + $1,499 + $99 = $3,196, and only one fee is ever returned per market
First qualifying payout in month 2 $599 + $198 = $797 paid; nothing returned $1,499 + $198 = $1,697 paid; $1,499 returned, net $198
First qualifying payout in month 4 $599 + $396 = $995 paid $1,499 + $396 = $1,895 paid; net $396 after the return

The reading of this table: Pre-Prop is the cheaper bet if you are likely to fail. Prop is the cheaper path if you are confident you will reach a payout, because its fee comes back. The fee return is capped at one per market for life, so a trader who burns through three Prop accounts recovers only one fee.

Discounts, promo codes and refunds

We found no promo code or sale banner on TradeFundrr’s own pages on October 11, 2026. The help centre says the firm “occasionally” runs promotions, announced by email and on the website. Codes are entered at signup. The Fee Refund Policy uses “$899 instead of $1,499” as an example of a promotional price, and says your Prop fee return equals what you actually paid. That is an example in a policy, not a live offer.

Refunds are close to impossible. The Return Policy (June 14, 2026) and the Terms say “All sales are final”, whether you traded the account or not. The one exception is the EU/EEA 14-day right of withdrawal, which you lose as soon as you sign the market data agreements. The Terms also warn that filing a chargeback before contacting support may suspend your accounts.

The Pro desk and its two descriptions

TradeFundrr’s Pro pages describe a desk where you contribute your own money and the firm adds leverage of up to 20x:

You contribute Buying power, up to
$25,000 $500,000 (listed in the stock compare page FAQ)
$50,000 $1,000,000 (listed in the stock compare page FAQ)
$100,000 $2,000,000
$500,000 $10,000,000
$1,000,000 $20,000,000

The Pro page says your contribution “will be used to cover losses”, that you are never liable for more than it, that buying power and drawdown are set per trader during onboarding “subject to T3 Global review”, and that “not all applicants are approved”. The application is free and the firm says it replies within 48 hours.

The Prop pages describe Pro differently: “Consistent performers may be invited to our firm-funded Pro desk. No personal capital contribution required.” The stock compare page also says “Pro is by invitation only.” So there seem to be two routes to Pro, one paid in with your capital and one by invitation, but the firm does not explain how they relate. Ask support in writing which one applies before you send any capital contribution.

Daily loss limit and trailing drawdown

The $1,000 daily loss limit

The limit is $1,000 on every stock and options account. It counts realized and unrealized losses, and the Terms add that equity is measured “at every moment of the session” from the day’s starting balance. On the current Pre-Prop and Prop accounts, hitting it is a soft breach: trading stops for the rest of the session, the account stays open, and the limit resets the next day.

Older TradeFundrr programs treated the daily loss limit as a hard breach that closed the account. Many complaints on Trustpilot and Reddit come from those programs. On the current accounts it is a pause, not a failure, but a pause still ends your day mid-plan.

For options traders the measuring method matters. The Terms value open option positions at the midpoint of each leg’s bid and ask. When spreads widen in a fast move, your open loss can jump in seconds and trip the limit even if the position later recovers. One review on Trustpilot says the trader “failed to note the daily drawdown wasn’t end of day but intraday”. The Terms do reverse a breach in one case: if the maximum possible loss of your open positions, plus that day’s realized losses, could never have reached $1,000.

The $3,000 trailing drawdown, with numbers

The maximum drawdown is $3,000 and it trails your highest end-of-day balance. It never moves down, and it stops trailing once the threshold reaches the starting balance. Breaching it closes the account (a hard breach).

Day End-of-day balance (stock account) Highest end-of-day balance Account closes at or below Room left
Start $100,000 $100,000 $97,000 $3,000
1 $100,800 $100,800 $97,800 $3,000
2 $100,300 $100,800 $97,800 $2,500
3 $102,100 $102,100 $99,100 $3,000
4 $103,400 $103,400 $100,000 (locked) $3,400
5 $104,500 $104,500 $100,000 (stays locked) $4,500

On a $25,000 options account the numbers are the same in dollars: the floor starts at $22,000 and locks at $25,000 once your best end-of-day balance reaches $28,000. That is a 12% drawdown on a $25,000 account, which is generous in percentage terms but small in dollars for multi-leg trades.

The help centre says the threshold is recalculated at the end of the session from the realized balance. The firm does not state outright whether a breach is checked only at the close or also during the day. Plan as if an intraday dip through the floor counts, and ask support if your strategy depends on it.

The trap after a payout: the threshold does not move down when you withdraw. If your floor is $98,500 and you withdraw $750 from a $101,500 balance, your room shrinks from $3,000 to $2,250. The firm’s own words are “Withdrawals lower your account balance without lowering the loss threshold.”

For more on how trailing limits behave, see our guides to trailing drawdown rules and static versus trailing drawdown.

The profit target and 30% consistency rule

The base profit target before a payout is $1,250. No single session may be more than 30% of the target, which is $375. If one day earns more than $375, the target rises to that day’s profit divided by 0.30. The raised target never comes back down, not even after a payout.

Best single session Profit needed before payout How it is worked out
$300 $1,250 $300 is under $375, so the base target stands
$375 $1,250 Exactly 30% of $1,250
$500 $1,666.67 $500 ÷ 0.30
$600 $2,000 $600 ÷ 0.30 (the firm’s own example)
$900 $3,000 $900 ÷ 0.30
$1,200 $4,000 $1,200 ÷ 0.30

The practical effect: one big day does not finish the job. It moves the target out of reach unless you follow it with many more green days. A trader who makes $900 on day one needs $3,000 in total, which is $2,100 more spread over days that each stay under $900. Traders who prefer steady, similar-sized days will find the rule easier. You can test your own numbers with our consistency rule calculator, and our consistency rule guide compares how other firms set theirs.

The five qualifying days use net realized profit after commissions, and they do not need to be consecutive. A $252 day on 1,000 shares round trip becomes $242 after the $10 commission and does not count.

Hold times, hours, bots, news and other rules

Rule What TradeFundrr publishes
Minimum hold time Every trade must be held for at least 15 seconds
Manual trading “Manual intraday trading only.” Fully automated strategies and trading bots are not permitted
Overnight and swing Not allowed. Stocks are liquidated at 4:00 PM ET and options at 3:55 PM ET
Premarket Stocks from 4:00 AM ET. Options from the 9:30 AM open only
Short selling Only on symbols on the easy-to-borrow list
Holidays and halts NYSE holiday schedule applies. Market-wide circuit breakers are not restricted, but all rules stay in force during halts
News trading The current Pre-Prop and Prop pages and help articles we read publish no news ban. Older TradeFundrr programs did ban trading around news, and several 2025 complaints are about it. Ask support before you trade a scheduled release
Copy trading You may place the same trades in your own accounts. Accounts held by different people, including people in the same household, must be traded independently
Prohibited conduct Exploiting price or feed errors, spoofing, high-frequency or opposite trades to game the rules, trading for someone else, and getting around location limits
Inactivity An account with no trades for 30 or more consecutive calendar days can be treated as abandoned and closed, and unpaid rewards forfeited
Market data status You must declare whether you are a professional or non-professional data subscriber. A false non-professional declaration ends the account with no refund

TradeFundrr options accounts: what you can trade

The options program is the reason many traders look at TradeFundrr, because most prop firms do not allow options at all. Our list of prop firms for options trading shows how rare it is.

  • Underlyings: calls and puts on “hundreds” of liquid US symbols, including SPX, SPY, QQQ, IWM, AAPL, NVDA, TSLA, AMD, META, AMZN and MSFT. Confirm the current symbol list with support before buying.
  • Strategies: long calls and puts, verticals, iron condors, butterflies and other spreads. Credit positions are allowed up to the account’s buying power.
  • Size: up to 10 contracts per leg on Pre-Prop and 20 on Prop.
  • Intraday only: 0DTE and weekly trades work inside the session, but nothing can be held past 3:55 PM ET.

The Terms add a detailed policy for multi-leg orders, which matters if you trade spreads in a simulated account. Every fill is compared with the midpoint of the displayed spread. A fill at the midpoint or worse for you stands. A fill better than the midpoint is flagged: the first time you get a warning, after that the gain is removed, and a third strike closes the account. A fill better than the best displayed price, such as a long butterfly bought for a credit, always loses its gain. Losses are never adjusted in your favor. In plain terms, price your spreads at the midpoint or toward the natural price and you are inside the rule.

One Trustpilot reviewer said index options were halted on the platform for several weeks. The firm replied that XSP was allowed during the SPX outage. If your edge depends on one product, ask support whether it is tradable today.

TradeFundrr payouts

Payout rule What TradeFundrr publishes
Eligibility 5 profitable sessions of $250+ net, $1,250+ total profit, best day no more than 30% of the target. Pre-Prop accounts must first reach the Prop step and then meet the rule again
How much per request Up to 50% of your account profit, or the cycle cap, whichever is lower
Minimum request $250, which is $200 to you after the split
Profit split 80% to you, 20% to TradeFundrr
Schedule Processed every Friday. Requests must be in by Wednesday to be paid that week
Method Rise only. First-time payees get a Rise registration email within 1 to 2 business days; use the same email as your TradeFundrr account
After a payout Your balance drops by the full request, the five-day requirement starts again, and the profit target and drawdown floor stay where they were
Prop fee return The $1,499 (or the discounted price you paid) is added to the first qualifying Prop payout as a bonus, not refunded to your card
Lifetime cap $25,000 in total payouts per trader, per market. After that the firm moves you to its live trading partner

Payout caps by cycle

Payout cycle Pre-Prop (in the Prop step) Prop
1 $1,000 $2,000
2 $1,000 $2,000
3 $1,000 $2,000
4 $1,500 $2,500
5 $1,500 $2,500
6 $2,000 $3,500
7 and later $3,000 $5,000

The caps are on the amount you request, before the 80% split. A Prop trader who hits every cap in cycles 1 to 6 requests $14,500 in total and receives $11,600 after the split. Reaching the $25,000 lifetime cap therefore takes about nine or ten cycles, depending on whether the cap counts the amount you request or your 80% share (the firm does not say). Every cycle needs at least five new qualifying days, so that is at least two months of strong trading under ideal conditions.

The lifetime cap was lower in the past. A help-centre article last edited in May 2025 gave $15,000 for stocks and $15,000 for options, and said “our goal is not to provide payments in the simulated environment”. The October 2026 article raises it to $25,000. A 1-star Trustpilot review from September 2026 says the trader was stopped after about $12,000 in payouts. The firm replied that he was being moved to its live trading partner and had not answered the partner’s emails.

A first payout, worked through

This example uses the $100,000 stock Prop account, net of commissions.

  1. Six trading days: +$300, +$280, -$150, +$320, +$290, +$310. Five of them clear $250. The best day ($320) is under $375, so the target stays at $1,250.
  2. Total profit: $1,350. Balance: $101,350. The highest end-of-day balance is also $101,350, so the floor sits at $98,350.
  3. Maximum request: 50% of $1,350 is $675, which is under the $2,000 cycle 1 cap. Request $675 by Wednesday.
  4. Friday: you receive 80% of $675, which is $540, plus the $1,499 Prop fee as a bonus. That is $2,039 through Rise.
  5. After the payout your balance is $100,675 and the floor stays at $98,350, so your room is now $2,325, not $3,000. The five-day count restarts at zero.

On the Pre-Prop path the same trader would first need five qualifying days in the evaluation, then five more in the Prop step, and would get no fee bonus. Cycle 1 would be capped at $1,000.

Simulated or real capital?

This is the biggest inconsistency in TradeFundrr’s materials, so read both sides.

  • The sales pages say a Pre-Prop pass promotes you “to a real funded Prop account”, that Prop traders “trade real capital from day one”, and that the firm takes the risk with “our capital”.
  • The Terms and Conditions (October 9, 2026) say “any trading that you perform through the Services is not real” and that funds for simulated trading “are fictitious”. The Fee Refund Policy says plainly: “Funded accounts are simulated.”
  • The help centre says that after $25,000 in payouts in a market, the trader is moved to “our l
