We checked 18 CFD prop firms against their own live account pages for what they actually let you trade, not a marketing badge, then ranked the 14 that confirmed multi-asset access (forex plus indices, metals, commodities or crypto) by cost per $1,000 of max-loss room at $50,000. Blue Guardian’s 2 Step Nano is cheapest overall at $25.40 per $1,000 on a $127 evaluation with a static $5,000 floor that never moves. FundingPips’ 2 Step Flex ($49.83) and Alpha Capital Group’s Alpha Pro 10% ($53.40) are close behind, but FundingPips carries a live step you cannot decline, while Alpha Capital Group’s can be declined with a final payout. Maven Trading’s Standard 2-Step ($55.00) beats the firm’s own heavily advertised $13 sticker, which is actually the worst value here at $216.67 per $1,000 once its tiny floor is counted. FTMO (53,666 Trustpilot reviews, 4.8 score) and FXIFY both confirm wide multi-asset menus but rank mid-table on cost. Pipcy advertises multi-asset CFDs on its homepage but both of its live product pages name forex pairs only, so it ranks separately in a forex-only group. DNA Funded, The Funded Trader and VisionTrade were all unpurchasable when checked and are not ranked.

Quick picks for the best CFD prop firm
- Cheapest overall: Blue Guardian 2 Step Nano, $25.40 per $1,000 of loss room on a static floor.
- Widest instrument menu: Goat Funded Trader 2 Step GOAT, six named categories including stocks and crypto.
- No live stage to worry about: Blue Guardian, Maven Trading, E8 Markets, FundedNext, The5ers, Hola Prime, FTMO, FXIFY, Funded Trading Plus and Funding Traders.
- Live step you can decline and still get paid: Alpha Capital Group Alpha Pro.
Why checking breadth matters before price: several page-1 results for this topic treat the word CFD as a synonym for forex and never check the product’s own instrument list. Pipcy is the clearest example in this post, a firm whose homepage claims multi-asset CFD access while both of its live product pages name forex pairs only.
What CFD breadth means at a prop firm
A CFD prop firm sells an evaluation and a simulated (or in rare cases live) funded account traded on contracts for difference, leveraged derivatives that track the price of an underlying instrument rather than a futures contract traded on an exchange. CFD breadth is simply whether the specific product you are buying actually lists instruments beyond currency pairs on its own account page or instrument-specification page, not whether the firm’s marketing uses the word CFD generically.

- FTMO: “You can trade all the instruments and assets that are available in your trading platform (Forex, Indices, Commodities, Stocks, Crypto).”
- FXIFY: names 33 forex pairs, 5 metals, 14 index CFDs, 3 commodities and 28 named stock CFDs on its own instrument FAQ, with crypto sold as a separate account category.
- Pipcy: the homepage advertises forex, indices, commodities and crypto, but neither the Classic nor the Pips Mastery product page names anything beyond forex pairs, which is why Pipcy is ranked separately in this post’s forex-only group.
Fourteen of the 18 firms we checked confirmed multi-asset breadth on their own live pages. One, Pipcy, claims it on the homepage but not on its product pages. Three, DNA Funded, The Funded Trader and VisionTrade, could not be checked for breadth at all because none was purchasable on the day we checked.
How we checked the best CFD prop firms

- Sources: each firm’s own live checkout, account selector and instrument-specification or help-centre page, read October 2, 2026, never a competing roundup or an affiliate-coded listing.
- Breadth test: we quote the exact instrument categories named on the live account page the product is actually sold on, not a homepage marketing adjective.
- Cost metric: (list price plus any activation fee to reach funded) divided by the smallest overall max-loss dollar floor at any stage, times 1,000, at $50,000 or the nearest size sold, one product per firm. The floor is always the overall max-loss figure, never a daily loss limit, a per-position rule or a minimum-balance figure.
- Purchasability: we open the checkout, not the marketing page; a paused-orders banner or a site error means the firm is checked and shown separately, never silently dropped.
- Currency: non-USD prices are converted at the dated European Central Bank reference rate for the day we checked, shown beside the native figure.
A discretionary live call-up, where a firm can move a trader off a simulated balance at its own judgment, is a fact to weigh, not a reason this post ranks a firm lower; it is named as the first watch-out wherever one exists.

Notes on this ranking: * FundingPips’ best-known plan, 2 Step Pro, is dearer per dollar of loss room at $83.00 than the Flex plan ranked here at $49.83. † Alpha Capital Group’s cheaper-looking Pro 6% plan is $217 against a smaller $3,000 floor, $72.33 per $1,000; its Alpha Swing plan is close behind at $71.40. ‡ Maven Trading’s own $13 Standard 3-Step account is the cheapest sticker on this entire post and the worst value on the metric, $216.67 per $1,000, because its floor at that size is only $60. § FundedNext’s better-known Stellar 2-Step costs $299.99 against a wider $5,000 floor, $60.00 per $1,000, a close second to the Stellar Lite ranked here. ¶ The5ers’ account-comparison table states an 8% max-loss floor for High Stakes 2-Step, the figure used to rank it here; the firm’s own FAQ elsewhere states 10% for the same product, which would put the real cost at $49.80 per $1,000 and move The5ers ahead of FundingPips into second place. # City Traders Imperium’s 1-Step is cheaper at checkout ($299 versus $329) but its floor is only $2,500 against the 2-Step’s $5,000, working out to $119.60 per $1,000, almost double the ranked product’s rate. ƒ FTMO’s 2-Step costs more at €345 ($387.26 converted, $77.45 per $1,000) than the 1-Step ranked here, but trades a genuinely static floor that never moves and refunds its fee with your first reward; the 1-Step’s floor is EOD-trailing and its fee is not refunded. FTMO prices are converted from EUR at the October 2, 2026 ECB reference rate of EUR/USD 1.1225. ¥ Funded Trading Plus’s price was read October 2, 2026; its main site was unreachable on both October 2 and October 3 when this post’s figures were double-checked. ‖ Funding Traders’ checkout leads with a two-for-one bundle price that is not the per-account list price; this post ranks the regular list price of $492 for 1-Step Pro, and the firm’s 2-Step Pro6 and Pro10 variants both work out to $129.00 per $1,000 at their own regular prices. ♣ Pipcy’s homepage advertises forex, indices, commodities and crypto, but both of its live product pages, Classic and Pips Mastery, name forex pairs only; it stays in the forex-only group until a live product page confirms broader access.
Forex-only group, ranked separately
Pipcy’s homepage claims multi-asset access, but its own live product pages do not confirm it, so it is shown here on the same cost metric rather than blended into the multi-asset table above.
| Rank and firm | Price at $50K | Max-loss floor | Cost per $1,000 | Markets you can trade | Live stage | Payout cadence |

Firm-by-firm detail, in the same rank order, follows below.
Blue Guardian’s 2 Step Nano is the cheapest CFD evaluation on this list by a wide margin
Verdict: First: at $25.40 per $1,000 of loss room, the cheapest product on this entire ranking, with a floor that never moves.
Video: “Which Blue Guardian Account is Best? (All Rules explained),” Blue Guardian official YouTube channel, May 7, 2026. Why selected: Blue Guardian’s own account-comparison explainer, the best available official-channel pick for this product.
- Markets you can trade: Forex, indices, gold and other metals, crypto
- Price and floor: $127 one-time at $50,000, against a $5,000 static max-loss floor that is fixed from day one and never trails your balance up or down.
- Payout cadence: Every 14 days once you clear the funded-stage requirement.
- Live stage: No live stage. The funded account is a simulated account that pays out directly; there is nothing to be called up to or to decline.
- Choose it when: You want the lowest entry price on this list and a floor that is locked in from the moment you buy, not one that creeps tighter as you make money.
- Watch out for: A 25% off banner (code BG25) has been pricing this product at $95.25 with no stated end date; this post ranks the $127 list price. Three September 2026 firm replies cited copy trading or a device match, not the floor itself, as the reason for a denied payout.
- Trustpilot: rating hidden by Trustpilot (“breach of our guidelines” banner), 2,102 reviews (read September 30, 2026). Blue Guardian profile, status.
FundingPips undercuts most of the field on its Flex plan, but a mandatory live step you cannot decline comes with it
Verdict: Second: $49.83 per $1,000 of loss room on 2 Step Flex, the widest floor FundingPips sells at $50,000, paired with the single clearest non-declinable live call-up on this list.
Video: “The On-Demand Reward Cycle is here – NO NEWS TRADING RULES; up to 90% rewards!,” FundingPips official YouTube channel, August 15, 2025. Why selected: FundingPips’ own explainer of its On-Demand reward cycle, the clearest official video on how payouts actually move at this firm.
- Markets you can trade: Forex, metals, energies, indices and crypto
- Price and floor: $299 one-time at $50,000 on 2 Step Flex, against a $6,000 static max-loss floor (12% of the starting balance). The firm’s best-known plan, 2 Step Pro, is dearer per dollar of loss room at $249 against a $3,000 floor, $83.00 per $1,000.
- Payout cadence: Weekly (80% split, after 7 profitable days) or Monthly (100% split, after a 35% consistency rule and 7 profitable days), depending on the cycle you pick at checkout.
- Live stage: Cannot decline. Once your profit crosses a performance threshold, FundingPips moves you to a Prime Account by invitation, and its own terms state you waive the right to refuse or contest it; the profit behind the split is multiplied by 12.5 to size the new account rather than paid out as cash.
- Choose it when: The $49.83 floor rate beats every other multi-asset firm on this list except Blue Guardian, and you want a firm with a 69,500-plus review base and a published 4.5 score.
- Watch out for: This is the first named watch-out on this whole ranking: the Prime Account step is not optional. Decide before you buy whether you want your profit converted into a bigger simulated account instead of paid as cash.
- Trustpilot: 4.5/5 on 69,532 reviews (read October 1, 2026). FundingPips profile, rules.
Alpha Capital Group’s Pro 10% plan is a close third, and traders who decline its live step still get paid
Verdict: Third: $53.40 per $1,000 of loss room on Alpha Pro’s 10% max-loss tab, the firm’s widest static floor, and the only live call-up on this entire ranking that pays a final reward if you say no.
Video: “Skip the Evaluation. Keep 90%. Start from Day 1. ⚡,” Alpha Capital Group official YouTube channel, July 26, 2026. Why selected: Alpha Capital Group’s own explainer of its Alpha Direct instant-funding product and how its split structure works.
- Markets you can trade: Forex, indices, commodities (oil), metals
- Price and floor: $267 one-time at $50,000 on Alpha Pro’s 10% max-loss variant, against a $5,000 static floor fixed from the initial balance; the 6% variant is cheaper on paper at $217 but only buys a $3,000 floor, $72.33 per $1,000.
- Payout cadence: On-demand once you clear a 2% gross profit requirement and the 40% Best Day rule; Alpha Pro buyers can also opt into a bi-weekly cycle.
- Live stage: Can decline with a final payout. Alpha Capital’s own terms state a trader who declines the live program still receives their final payout and simply loses access to any future relationship with the Alpha Group brand family.
- Choose it when: You want the firm’s widest static floor at $50,000 and you would rather keep a cash-out option than be automatically rolled into a live account like FundingPips’ Prime step.
- Watch out for: Alpha Capital’s live call-up can trigger early, on a single $40,000 payout, five payouts from one account, or $100,000 in lifetime payouts, so plan for it well before you expect to hit it. Trustpilot rating is hidden on 21,810 reviews.

Maven Trading’s Standard 2-Step is the real cheapest CFD pick, not the $13 sticker price that looks cheaper
Verdict: Fourth: $55.00 per $1,000 of loss room on the Standard 2-Step, while the firm’s much-advertised $13 account is actually the worst value here once the floor is accounted for.
Video: “Maven Challenge Add-Ons Explained,” Maven Trading official YouTube channel, September 13, 2026. Why selected: Maven Trading’s own explainer of its paid checkout add-ons, the clearest official video on how its pricing options change the account you buy.
- Markets you can trade: Forex, commodities, indices, cryptocurrencies
- Price and floor: $220 one-time at $50,000 on the Standard 2-Step, against a $4,000 static max-loss floor (8% of the starting balance).
- Payout cadence: Every 10 business days once you clear the first-funded-trade requirement, plus 3 profitable days of at least 0.5% each on the 2-Step.
- Live stage: No live stage. Every Maven account, at every stage, stays a simulated demo account and pays out of that balance directly.
- Choose it when: You have seen Maven marketed as the cheapest CFD challenge around and want to know which of its many products actually earns that label once the loss room is weighed in.
- Watch out for: Maven’s $13 Standard 3-Step account, its most eye-catching sticker price, works out to $216.67 per $1,000 of loss room because its floor is only $60 at that size, nearly the worst rate on this entire list. Trustpilot rating is hidden on 5,209 reviews.
- Trustpilot: rating hidden by Trustpilot (“breach of our guidelines” banner), 5,209 reviews (read October 2, 2026). status, rules.
E8 Markets Classic prices a static floor cheaper than its own more popular One plan
Verdict: Fifth: $57.00 per $1,000 of loss room on E8 Pro, which beats both E8 One’s tighter trailing floor and E8 Signature’s thinner EOD floor despite not being the cheapest sticker.
Video: “E8 One Explained: The Fastest Path to E8 Performance,” E8 Markets official YouTube channel, June 12, 2026. Why selected: E8 Markets’ own explainer of the fastest path through its Performance stage, which applies to every Classic Markets product including E8 Pro.
- Markets you can trade: Forex, metals, energies, indices and crypto (Classic Markets, the CFD/forex arm, separate from E8’s futures SKU)
- Price and floor: $228 one-time at $50,000 on E8 Pro, against a $4,000 static max-loss floor. E8 Signature is cheaper on the sticker at $120 but only buys a $1,000 floor, $120.00 per $1,000, the dearest of E8’s three CFD products.
- Payout cadence: Daily, on request, once you clear a minimum 1% of initial balance in profit. Half of every payout cycle’s profit is held back as a drawdown buffer; the remaining half is paid at your chosen split.
- Live stage: No live stage. Every E8 account, including the funded-sounding Performance account, remains a simulated account inside E8’s own trading platform.
- Choose it when: You want a genuinely static floor (not a trailing one) at the lowest cost per $1,000 E8 sells, and you are buying the CFD/forex Classic Markets line specifically, not E8’s separate futures product.
- Watch out for: E8’s cheapest-looking product, E8 Signature at $120, actually costs the most per $1,000 of loss room of the firm’s three CFD plans. Trustpilot rating is hidden on 3,299 reviews.
- Trustpilot: rating hidden by Trustpilot (“breach of our guidelines” banner), 3,299 reviews (read September 30, 2026). E8 Markets profile, rules.
FundedNext’s Stellar Lite beats its own better-known 2-Step on cost per dollar of loss room
Verdict: Sixth: $57.50 per $1,000 of loss room on Stellar Lite, narrowly ahead of FundedNext’s flagship Stellar 2-Step, because Lite’s floor shrinks less than its price does.
Video: “Restart Your Trading Journey: Resetting FundedNext Account | FundedNext Explained,” FundedNext official YouTube channel, January 9, 2024. Why selected: FundedNext’s own explainer of how resetting an account works, the clearest official video touching the Stellar line’s rules.
- Markets you can trade: Forex, indices, commodities and metals (gold), crypto, oil, stocks
- Price and floor: $229.99 one-time at $50,000 on Stellar Lite, against a $4,000 static max-loss floor (8% of the starting balance). The better-known Stellar 2-Step costs $299.99 for a wider $5,000 floor, $60.00 per $1,000, a close second.
- Payout cadence: First reward 21 days after your first funded trade, then every 14 days.
- Live stage: No live stage. FundedNext’s CFD line (the Stellar products ranked here) has no discretionary live-trading call-up at all; that mechanism exists only on FundedNext Futures, a separate, out-of-scope product from a different arm of the brand.
- Choose it when: You want FundedNext’s widest instrument menu among the firms on this list, six named categories including stocks and oil, at the lowest cost per $1,000 the brand sells.
- Watch out for: Stellar Lite trades inside a tighter 8% loss box than the 2-Step’s wider terms and defers your evaluation fee refund to the third reward instead of the first; weigh that trade-off against the small cost saving.
- Trustpilot: 4.5/5 on 80,485 reviews (read September 30, 2026). FundedNext profile, rules.
Goat Funded Trader’s 2 Step GOAT pairs a six-category instrument menu with the firm’s own contradictory live-account language
Verdict: Seventh: $61.60 per $1,000 of loss room on 2 Step GOAT, the widest named instrument menu on this entire ranking, next to a firm whose own pages cannot agree on whether a live stage exists at all.
Video: “Goat Funded Trader Prop Firm Explained (full tutorial + real payout proof),” Goat Funded Trader official YouTube channel, November 16, 2025. Why selected: Goat Funded Trader’s own full walkthrough of the program, including real payout evidence, the best available official-channel video.
- Markets you can trade: Forex, indices, metals, commodities, stocks and cryptocurrencies
- Price and floor: $308 one-time at $50,000 on 2 Step GOAT, against a $5,000 static max-loss floor, the safest floor mechanic of the firm’s three products (the others trail).
- Payout cadence: Every 14 days once you clear 3 valid trading days (4 on accounts bought from July 27, 2026) each worth at least 0.5% profit.
- Live stage: Decline terms not published. One Goat Funded Trader pa
