We checked 17 prop firms that sell an exact $100,000 account today, across both forex/CFD and futures, and ranked every one on cost per $1,000 of loss room, the smallest overall max-loss dollar figure the product reaches at any stage. On forex and CFD, Blue Guardian’s 2 Step Nano is the cheapest at $23.90 per $1,000 with a $10,000 static floor, the same winner as our separate $50K comparison. On futures, Topstep’s No Activation Fee path is cheapest at $49.67 per $1,000 at list. The ranked product is not always the same one that wins at $50,000: FundedNext Futures’ Legacy plan is the cheapest $100K futures product here but ranked worst on this metric at $50K, and Phidias’ metric-best $100K product at list is its Monthly Fundamental path, $273 a month plus a $149 activation fee on pass, or $140.67 per $1,000, ahead of its $723 One-Time path at $241.00 and never priced on the discounted figure its Q4PUSH promo code shows on the page. DNA Funded publishes a $100,000 product on paper but its checkout has returned “orders paused” and a 404 on every check since September 27, 2026, nine consecutive checks, so it is not ranked.

Freshness: checked October 3, 2026. Firms change prices and terms without notice; confirm current figures on the firm’s own checkout before paying. Each firm’s Trustpilot figure carries its own read date.

Quick picks for the cheapest 100K prop firm challenge
- Cheapest $100,000 forex/CFD evaluation per $1,000 of loss room: Blue Guardian 2 Step Nano, $23.90 per $1,000, with a static $10,000 floor.
- Cheapest $100,000 futures evaluation per $1,000 of loss room: Topstep’s No Activation Fee path, $49.67 per $1,000 at list.
- Cheapest sticker that is not the best value: Topstep’s own advertised $99/month Standard path hides the same $149 activation fee charged at every size, due on passing, a real first-cycle cost of $248; the No Activation Fee path at $149/month ($49.67 per $1,000) ranked above is the better deal.
- Widest static floor at $100,000: FundingPips 2 Step Flex, a $12,000 floor the firm states explicitly is checked on an equity-or-balance basis at every phase.
- Fee refunded at payout: FTMO’s 2-Step Standard refunds its entire €540 fee with the first Reward, netting to $0 after a single pass, something its own cheaper-on-paper 1-Step never does.
Why sticker price misleads at this size: a $100,000 account with a tight floor is not the same product as one with a wide floor, even at an identical or lower price. FundedNext Futures’ own ladder shows this clearly: Flex was the cheapest product at $50,000 in our separate comparison, but at $100,000 its price no longer scales in step with its floor the way Legacy’s does, so Legacy becomes the firm’s best $100K product instead, an outright reversal, not just a narrower gap.
How cost per $1,000 of loss room works at 100K
Two real products from the tables below show why this matters more than the price tag. Blue Guardian’s 2 Step Nano costs $239 with a $10,000 static floor: $239 divided by 10 is $23.90 per $1,000 of loss room. Alpha Capital Group’s Alpha Pro 6% costs $397, a lower sticker than its own Alpha Pro 10% at $447, but its floor is only $6,000: $397 divided by 6 is $66.17 per $1,000, nearly 50% more than Alpha Pro 10% despite the lower sticker. The lesson is not that cheaper floors are bad, it is that a dollar figure on its own tells you nothing about value until you divide it by how much loss room it actually buys. This guide computes that division for every $100,000 product named below, using the smallest overall max-loss dollar figure a product reaches at any stage, evaluation or funded, never a daily loss limit, a per-position floating-loss rule, or a minimum-balance figure, and always on the firm’s LIST price, never a coded or promotional price.
How we checked these 100K prop firm accounts

- Exact-size rule: a product qualifies only if the firm’s own checkout shows a purchasable account at exactly $100,000, never a nearby size rounded in, and never a 1:1 scale-up assumed from a firm’s $50,000 card.
- Metric: cost per $1,000 of loss room equals the LIST price of the firm’s metric-best $100K variant, plus any activation fee and fixed published payout fee, divided by the smallest overall max-loss dollar figure the product reaches at any stage, times 1,000.
- Every variant priced: where a firm sells more than one $100,000 plan, every variant is priced and the metric computed for each; the firm is ranked on its metric-best product on LIST price, not its cheapest-looking promo.
- Currency conversion: FTMO prices in euros; converted at the ECB EUR/USD rate of 1.1225 dated October 2, 2026, stated once here and shown beside the converted figure.
- Promos and live call-ups: products rank on list price; a promo is shown as a secondary, dated figure with its code. A discretionary live call-up is recorded as a warning in each firm’s block, never a reason to rank a firm lower.
A hidden Trustpilot rating is never a ranking reason either; of the nine ranked forex and CFD firms in this comparison, four (Alpha Capital Group, Blue Guardian, E8 Markets and Goat Funded Trader) carry a Trustpilot rating hidden behind a “breach of our guidelines” banner at the time of this check, as does futures firm Phidias Propfirm, stated plainly in each firm’s own block beside its review count rather than replaced by a self-claimed score.

| Firm and $100K product | List price (billing) | Max-loss floor (type) | Cost per $1,000 | What it restricts | Live stage | Payout cadence |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1. Blue Guardian 2 Step Nano | $239 (one-time) | $10,000, static | $23.90 (fee-only) | 3% hard daily loss, equity-checked floor | No live stage, fully simulated | Every 14 days |
| 2. Alpha Capital Group Alpha Pro 10% | $447 (one-time) | $10,000, static | $44.70 | 5% hard daily loss on equity, no reset product | Discretionary call-up at profit thresholds | On demand, 2% profit minimum |
| 3. FundingPips 2 Step Flex | $555 (one-time) | $12,000, static | $46.25 (fee-only) | Non-declinable Prime call-up (warning only) | Call-up to Prime possible, non-declinable | Bi-weekly or monthly, by choice |
| 4. Goat Funded Trader 2 Step GOAT | $478 (one-time) | $10,000, static | $47.80 (fee-only) | First two payouts capped at a fixed dollar figure | Pages conflict on live-transition existence | Every 14 days |
| 5. FundedNext Stellar Lite | $399.99 (one-time) | $8,000, static | $50.00 | Fee refunded at 3rd payout, not the 1st | No forced call-up on this CFD line | 21 days then bi-weekly |

| 7. FXIFY Two Phase Classic | $549 (one-time) | $10,000, static | $54.90 | 4% daily loss; never refunds the eval fee | No call-up found; funded directly | 14 or 30 days, by split chosen |
| 8. FTMO 1-Step Standard* | €499 ($560.13, one-time) | $10,000, EOD trailing | $56.01 | Fee never refunded on this product | No live stage, fully simulated | On request from day 14 |
| 9. Hola Prime 2-Step Prime | $569 (one-time) | $10,000, static | $56.90 (fee-only) | Fee refunded across 4 payouts, not 1 | No forex call-up article published | Bi-weekly cycle |
Notes on this ranking: Cost per $1,000 is list price divided by the smallest overall max-loss dollar figure the product reaches at any stage, never a daily loss limit. Codes shown are firm-published and uncompensated; products rank on list price. A cost marked fee-only belongs to a firm that publishes no activation fee, neither a figure nor an explicit $0, so it covers the evaluation fee alone and would rise if a fee is charged after you pass. E8 Markets is ranked on E8 Pro with the 10% drawdown setting; the checkout opens on the 6% setting instead, $468 for a $6,000 floor, or $78.00 per $1,000, shown in E8’s block as an alternative. * FTMO prices in euros; converted at the ECB EUR/USD rate of 1.1225 dated October 2, 2026. FTMO’s own 2-Step Standard costs slightly more on the raw metric (€540, about $60.61 per $1,000) but refunds its entire fee with the first payout, making its net cost $0 after a single pass, something the 1-Step never does.
Futures 100K accounts compared, checked October 3, 2026
| Firm and $100K product | List price (billing) | Max-loss floor (type) | Cost per $1,000 | What it restricts | Live stage | Payout cadence |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1. Topstep No Activation Fee path‡ | $149/mo (monthly) | $3,000, EOD trailing | $49.67 | Max loss resets to $0 after first payout | Discretionary call-up, final payout kept | On demand once gated |
| 2. Tradeify Growth | $255 (one-time) | $3,500, EOD trailing | $72.86 | 35% consistency and daily pause, every payout | Discretionary, non-declinable Elite Live call-up | Every 5 winning days |
| 3. FundedNext Futures Legacy | $239.99 (one-time) | $3,000, EOD trailing | $80.00 | No fixed cap on Performance Reward count | Discretionary call-up at 15 payouts | Every 5 benchmark days |
| 4. My Funded Futures Builder | $282 (one-time) | $3,000, EOD trailing | $94.00 | Mandatory $1,750 daily pause and 50% consistency | Non-declinable call-up after 5 payouts | Each cycle, 2+ qualifying days |
| 5. Lucid Trading LucidFlex, DLL on | $293 (one-time) | $3,000, EOD trailing | $97.67 | Optional daily pause, no funded consistency | Discretionary call-up after up to 5 payouts | No fixed window |
| 6. Phidias Propfirm Fundamental, Monthly† | $273/mo + $149 activation | $3,000, EOD trailing | $140.67 | 30% consistency cap on every payout | Discretionary call-up at 5 payouts or $100K | Every 10 funded days |
| 7. Apex Trader Funding 100K EOD Trail§ | $1,190 ($119 coded, one-time) + $129 activation | $3,000, EOD trailing | $439.67 | No reset product at any size | Discretionary call-up, flat $3,000 if declined | Weekly after 5 trading days |
Notes on this ranking: Same method as the forex/CFD table. Monthly-billed products are shown at their first month’s list price; the cost rises every month you stay. † Phidias’ ranked variant is its Monthly-billed Fundamental path, shown at list including the $149 activation fee due on pass; its own one-time Fundamental path, and its Premium and Express to Live products at both billing paths, all cost more per $1,000 of loss room at list, as detailed in the firm’s block below. ‡ Topstep’s own homepage leads with a $99 Standard-path sticker; the same $149 activation fee charged at every size, due only on passing, makes that path’s real first-cycle cost $248, more than the No Activation Fee path ranked here. § Apex’s own Intraday Trail variant is structurally cheaper still on its published floor size, but its funded-stage floor tracks live unrealized profit in real time rather than settling once at end of day, so it is shown separately rather than ranked clean. As listed on October 6, 2026, the 100K Intraday Trail, Standard costs $790 plus a $129 activation fee, $306.33 per $1,000 of its $3,000 floor, and the 100K No Activation Fee Intraday costs $999 with no activation fee, $333.00 per $1,000.
Why cross-asset $100,000 accounts cost so differently per dollar of loss room

Forex and CFD firms structure their $100,000 cost mostly on the evaluation sticker, with no activation fee in almost every case in this comparison; futures firms often split the real cost into a cheaper evaluation sticker plus a separate activation fee due only after passing, which is exactly the trap behind Topstep’s $99 Standard-path headline. At $100,000 this structural difference carries a bigger absolute dollar gap than at $50,000, because some futures firms (Topstep among them) charge the identical activation-fee dollar figure at every size, making it a smaller fraction of the real cost at $50K but a larger one in dollar terms at $100K once the base price itself has roughly doubled. Apex is not one of them: its activation fee rises with account size, from $109 at 25K to $129 at 50K and 100K and $159 at 150K on the EOD Trail, and from $99 at 50K to $129 at 100K on the Intraday Trail. That is why this guide never blends the two asset classes into one sorted table: a futures buyer comparing Apex’s $1,190 sticker against a forex firm’s $550 sticker, without separately checking for an activation fee on one side and none on the other, would be comparing two different cost shapes as if they were the same number. For the fuller asset-specific breakdowns behind each table here, see our cheapest forex prop firms and cheapest futures prop firms guides.
All-in cost to your first payout at 100K
The evaluation price is only the entry cost. These tables add the activation fee, a single reset (in case your first attempt fails), the payout fee, and whether the evaluation fee itself ever comes back to you, for each ranked product above, in the same row order.
| Firm and $100K product | Activation fee | One reset | Payout fee | Fee refunded at payout |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Blue Guardian 2 Step Nano | Not published (no activation line at checkout) | No reset product exists | 3% of every payout | After the 4th payout, not sooner |
| Alpha Capital Group Alpha Pro 10% | $0 (explicit, no-activation-fee policy) | No reset product; re-buy at full price | Not published | Never refunded |
| FundingPips 2 Step Flex | Not published | 15% off list at this size, about $472 | Not published (min $500 some rails) | Never refunded |
| Goat Funded Trader 2 Step GOAT | Not published (no activation line at checkout) | Not confirmed at $100K this check | Not confirmed at $100K this check | Not confirmed at $100K this check |
| FundedNext Stellar Lite | $0 (explicit, no-recurring-fees policy) | About $360 (10% off list, estimated) | Up to 3.5% of each payout | 3rd payout, not the 1st |
| E8 Markets E8 Pro 10% | $0 (explicit) | 10% discount to restart, within 7 days | $0 from E8 (processor may charge) | Never refunded |
| FXIFY Two Phase Classic | $0 (explicit) | Not published | Not published | Never refunded |
| FTMO 1-Step Standard | $0 (explicit) | No reset product; re-buy at full price | $0 FTMO fee (processor min $20-$50) | Never refunded |
| Hola Prime 2-Step Prime | Not published (brand-wide forex gap) | Offered, exact price not published | 2.5% of payout, minimum $25 | Across 4 payouts, 25% each |
| Firm and $100K product | Activation fee | One reset | Payout fee | Fee refunded at payout |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Topstep No Activation Fee path | $0 (explicit) | $149, or $129 with the DLL discount | $0-$30, depending on payout rail | No eval-fee refund published |
| Tradeify Growth | $0 (explicit, firm-wide) | $169 (homepage card figure) | $0 from Tradeify directly | Never refunded; all sales final |
| FundedNext Futures Legacy | $0 (explicit, firm-wide) | $220.79 | Up to 3.5% of each payout | Never refunded |
| My Funded Futures Builder | $0 (explicit) | Not published at any size | Not published on any rail | Not published for this product |
| Lucid Trading LucidFlex, DLL on | $0 (explicit, firm-wide) | $170 | Not published | Never refunded |
| Phidias Propfirm Fundamental, Monthly | $149, charged once on pass | $64 (dynamic reset field) | Not published | Never refunded; pays per cycle instead |
| Apex Trader Funding 100K EOD Trail | $129, due within 7 days of passing | Not offered; re-buy at full price | Not published | Never refunded |
Several cells above read “Not published.” That is a real finding, not a gap in our research: a firm that does not state its reset price or payout fee anywhere on its own site leaves a buyer unable to budget the true all-in cost of a breach or a withdrawal until they ask support directly or reach that step themselves.
Ranked forex and CFD 100K prop firm accounts
Blue Guardian’s 2 Step Nano keeps the cheapest $100K spot it also holds at $50,000
Verdict: First by a wide margin again at this size: $239 for a two-phase evaluation with a $10,000 static floor puts 2 Step Nano under half of the next-cheapest product here per $1,000 of loss room.
Video: “Which Blue Guardian Account is Best? (All Rules explained),” Blue Guardian official YouTube channel, May 7, 2026. Source type: vendor-produced. Why selected: Blue Guardian’s own account-comparison explainer covers 2 Step Nano directly; no $100K-specific cut exists beyond it.
2 Step Nano lists at $239 for a $100,000 account (checkout total $179 with code BG25, no published end date), with a $10,000 static max loss, 10% of $100,000, measured on account equity including floating profit and loss and unchanged through both phases and the funded stage: $239 / 10 = $23.90 per $1,000 of loss room. The profit target is $13,000 total, $8,000 (8%) in Phase 1 and $5,000 (5%) in Phase 2, and the funded split starts at 80%, rising to 90% with a paid add-on.
Blue Guardian sells four other $100,000 products beyond 2 Step Nano: 1 Step Nano ($320, $6,000 trailing, $53.33 per $1,000), 1 Step Standard ($398, $6,000 trailing, $66.33 per $1,000), 2 Step Standard ($463, $8,000 static, $57.88 per $1,000) and Instant Standard ($623, $6,000 trailing, $103.83 per $1,000). A separate 3% daily loss ($3,000 at this size) ends the account outright on top of the 10% overall floor, a hard limit that does not disqualify a forex 2-step product under this guide’s own test. All accounts at this firm, including funded ones, remain simulated; there is no live call-up at all on the CFD side.
- Price at this size: $239 list ($179 with code BG25) for a $100,000 2 Step Nano account.
- The rule that bites: A 3% daily loss ($3,000 at this size) ends the account outright, on top of the 10% overall static floor.
- Choose it when: You want the single cheapest $100K evaluation in this comparison and can live with a hard daily loss limit.
- Watch out for: The 10% floor is checked against equity including open, unrealized losses, so a losing trade can breach the account before you close it.
- Trustpilot: rating hidden (“breach of our guidelines” banner), 2,094 reviews. Blue Guardian profile, status.
Alpha Capital Group’s Alpha Pro 10% overtakes FundingPips once the $100K floor is compared, not the sticker
Verdict: Second: Alpha Pro 10% is this firm’s own cheapest of eight priced $100,000 variants, and at this size it edges ahead of FundingPips’ widest-floor product too, a reversal of the two firms’ $50K order.
Video: “Skip the Evaluation. Keep 90%. Start from Day 1. ⚡,” Alpha Capital Group official YouTube channel, July 26, 2026. Source type: vendor-produced. Why selected: Alpha Capital Group’s own Alpha Pro explainer is the closest official video to this product line.
Alpha Pro 10% lists at $447 for a $100,000 account (checkout total $357.60 with code ALPHA20, expiring October 31, 2026), with a $10,000 static max loss (10% of $100,000, fixed from the initial balance, never trails): $447 / 10 = $44.70 per $1,000 of loss room. Alpha Capital Group prices eight $100,000 variants in total: Alpha Pro 6% ($397, $6,000 floor, $66.17 per $1,000), Alpha Pro 8% ($527, $8,000 floor, $65.88 per $1,000), Alpha One 4% ($397, $4,000 floor, $99.25 per $1,000), Alpha One 8% ($587, $8,000 floor, $73.38 per $1,000), Alpha One 10% ($477, $10,000 floor, $47.70 per $1,000, second cheapest here), the Swing Plan ($577, $10,000 floor, $57.70 per $1,000) and Alpha Direct, an instant no-evaluation product ($457, $5,000 trailing floor, $91.40 per $1,000).
A 5% hard daily loss limit ($5,000 at this size), calculated on the higher of end-of-day balance or equity, ends the account on breach, a standard and disclosed forex 2-step rule. There is no reset product at any size on this firm’s ladder; a breach means a full-price second evaluation. Traders can be selected early for the firm’s discretionary Alpha Prime live program once they clear $40,000 in a single payout, five payouts from one account, or $100,000 in lifetime payouts; a decliner receives their final payable balance but forfeits any further relationship with the firm.
- Price at this size: $447 list ($357.60 with code ALPHA20, expires October 31, 2026) for a $100,000 Alpha Pro 10% account.
- The rule that bites: There is no reset product at any size; a breach means buying a brand-new evaluation at full price.
- Choose it when: You want this firm’s own cheapest-per-$1,000 product and can accept a 5% hard daily loss limit calculated on equity.
- Watch out for: This firm’s own Alpha One 10% is only $0.70 more expensive per $1,000 than Alpha Pro 10% on the identical floor size; the two are worth comparing on their non-price rules before choosing.
- Trustpilot: rating hidden (“breach of our guidelines” banner), 21,810 reviews. Alpha Capital Group profile, payouts.
FundingPips 2 Step Flex still carries the widest static floor of any ranked $100K forex product here
Verdict: Third: 2 Step Flex’s $12,000 floor remains the widest in this comparison at $100K, the same structural edge it held at $50,000, though a cheaper-overall product now sits ahead of it.
Video: “FundingPips Pro is crafted for traders looking for a more affordable 2-Step Model,” FundingPips official YouTube channel, April 25, 2025. Source type: vendor-produced. Why selected: FundingPips’ own 2 Step model explainer is the closest official video to this product.
2 Step Flex lists at $555 for a $100,000 account, with a $12,000 static max loss (12% of $100,000, confirmed by the firm’s own rules as an equity-or-balance breach basis): $555 / 12 = $46.25 per $1,000 of loss room. FundingPips also sells 2 Step Pro ($466, $6,000 floor, $77.67 per $1,000, the cheapest sticker here but the most expensive per dollar of room) and 1 Step Flex ($666, $12,000 floor, $55.50 per $1,000).
A discretionary, non-declinable call-up to the firm’s Prime live program exists: per the firm’s own terms, if FundingPips elects to move a trader to Prime, that access is automatically accepted and the trader waives any right to refuse or contest it; a decliner does not keep the payable balance under any published alternative. This is the first watch-out on this product, not a reason to drop the ranking, per this guide’s standing rule that a call-up is a warning rather than a grade. A firm-wide VPN/VPS ban applies retroactively to every account.
- Price at this size: $555 one-time for a $100,000 2 Step Flex account.
- The rule that bites: A discretionary, non-declinable call-up can move the account to the firm’s live Prime program at any time; there is no published right to refuse it.
- Choose it when: You want the widest static dollar floor among this guide’s ranked $100K forex products and an explicit equity-breach basis stated by the firm.
- Watch out for: A firm-wide VPN/VPS ban applies to every account type, confirmed applied retroactively to accounts opened before the rule was published.
- Trustpilot: 4.5/5 on 69,734 reviews. FundingPips profile, rules.
Goat Funded Trader’s 2 Step GOAT is the firm’s own flagship size but not its cheapest-looking product
Verdict: Fourth: 2 Step GOAT is the only one of this firm’s $100,000 products with a floor that never trails at any stage, even though the firm’s own configurator defaults its Instant HERO combination to this exact size.
Video: “Goat Funded Trader Prop Firm Explained (full tutorial + real payout proof),” Goat Funded Trader official YouTube channel, November 16, 2025. Source type: vendor-produced. Why selected: Goat Funded Trader’s own 2-Step evaluation explainer is the closest official video to this product.
2 Step GOAT lists at $478 for a $100,000 account, with a $10,000 static max loss (10% of $100,000, identical at Step 1, Step 2 and the funded stage, never trailing equity): $478 / 10 = $47.80 per $1,000 of loss room, a fee-only figure because Goat Funded Trader publishes no activation fee, neither a figure nor an explicit $0. 1 Step GOAT ($530, $6,000 floor, $88.33 per $1,000) also carries a static floor, but Instant HERO, this firm’s own default-selected size and product combination on its configurator, uses a trailing floor instead: 5% of equity, moving up with gains and never back down, confirmed by the firm’s own worked example (“If your account reaches $104,000, your new trailing drawdown limit becomes $98,800”), plus a separate 1% floating-loss kill switch worth $1,000 that can close the account instantly on an open losing trade regardless of the trailing floor’s position. That combination is a genuine high-risk trait this guide will not rank clean, and Instant HERO is not ranked here despite being the configurator’s most prominently displayed $100,000 product.
The first two payouts on 2 Step GOAT are capped at a fixed dollar figure regardless of how much more profit has actually accrued, and this cap does not scale up with the larger $100,000 size the way the evaluation fee does. The firm’s own terms and conditions appear to conflict with themselves on whether any live-account transition exists at all on this CFD line.
- Price at this size: $478 list for a $100,000 2 Step GOAT account; the activation fee is not published, so $47.80 per $1,000 is fee-only.
- The rule that bites: This firm’s own Instant HERO product, its configurator default at $100,000, carries a trailing floor plus a separate 1% floating-loss kill switch and is not ranked here for that reason.
- Choose it when: You want the only product on this firm’s $100K ladder whose floor never trails, at either the evaluation or funded stage.
- Watch out for: Do not assume the configurator’s default-displayed product is the safest one; Instant HERO is shown first at this exact size but carries a materially tighter, trailing-plus-kill-switch floor than 2 Step GOAT.
- Trustpilo
