UProfit Rules: Drawdown, Consistency, Scaling Plan and Live Account Rules

Review the documented rules, source notes, tools, and account checks recorded for UProfit Rules: Drawdown, Consistency, Scaling Plan and Live Account Rules.

Document-based research and editorial review. Last reviewed October 11, 2026 39 min read

Rules can change: The firm or platform controls the current wording. Confirm the linked source and your dashboard before you trade or request a payout.

UProfit rules for the DAY 2.0 Soft and Flex accounts in all four sizes (10K, 50K, 100K and 150K), from the evaluation through the Live Virtual stage to the Funded Live account. UProfit (UProfit Trader LLC, a Delaware company funding futures traders since 2019) sells a one-step simulated evaluation billed monthly. Pass it and you trade a Live Virtual account, which is still simulated but pays 90% of profits. Traders who take the maximum payouts there can be offered a Funded Live account with real capital. The rules that decide most outcomes are the end-of-day trailing drawdown that breaches on any intraday touch, the 50% and 40% consistency rules, the Soft daily loss limit that pauses rather than fails the account, the contract scaling plan in Live Virtual, the one-trade-a-week inactivity rule, the 4:10 PM ET flat rule, and the conduct rules on copy trading, VPNs, scalping and open losses. This page covers each rule with dollar values for every size, worked examples, three calculators, the older UProfit programs people still search for (including the Drawdown Killer and the Pro Drawdown), and the places where UProfit’s own pages disagree.

Checked October 11, 2026. Every value here was read on that date from UProfit’s own pages: the Soft and Flex trading-parameter, FAQ, benefits, payout and reset articles, the 16 per-account articles (evaluation and Live Virtual for each size), the copy trading, best practices, markets and hours, activation, countries and withdrawal articles, the Terms and Conditions, the DAY 2.0 pricing page, the live-account page and the legacy program pages. BestProps did not buy an account, so dashboard behaviour and how UProfit’s risk team applies its discretionary rules were not verified by purchase. Where UProfit’s pages disagree, this page uses the newest article for the exact account and flags the conflict.

What can trip you up

$400-$4,500End-of-day trailing drawdown, 10K to 150K. Touching the floor intraday is a breach.
50% / 40%Best-day consistency: 50% to pass the evaluation, 40% for each Live Virtual payout.
3% per requestPayout cap of 3% of the starting balance, 90% to the trader, 6 payouts per account.
4:10 PM ETDaily flat time. No positions between sessions, and 1 trade a week in Live Virtual.

Rows To Inspect First

The labels explain why each row is surfaced. They are not a recommendation to buy or avoid any account.

The floor moves at the close, but breaches intraday

The drawdown only steps up after the session, yet equity touching the floor at any moment, open trades included, fails the account and closes the position.

hard breachEOD trailing

Soft pauses, old DAY failed

On DAY 2.0 Soft the daily loss limit locks the account until the next session. On DAY accounts bought before 2.0 the same limit is a breach that needs a reset.

version-specificcommissions count

Live Virtual adds three new breaches

Contract scaling, the one-trade-a-week rule and the payout gates (3 profit days, 40% consistency, SafetyNet) only start after you pass. Scaling and inactivity breaches fail the account.

Rule areaOfficial-source snapshotWhat to verify + evidence
EOD trailing drawdown
$400 to $4,500
Drawdown of $400 (10K), $2,000 (50K), $3,000 (100K) or $4,500 (150K). The floor starts at $9,600 / $48,000 / $97,000 / $145,500, is updated at the end of each day from the highest balance reached in the session, and stops rising at the starting balance. Reaching it at any time during the day, with open or closed trades, is a breach and the position is closed automatically.Applies to the evaluation and Live Virtual on both Soft and Flex. A breach needs a paid reset, a free reset at renewal (evaluation) or a Live Reset (Live Virtual).

pause, not breach
Soft accounts: $220 (10K), $1,100 (50K), $2,200 (100K), $3,000 (150K), including commissions. Reaching it locks the account until the next session; it does not fail the account. Flex accounts have no daily loss limit.Accounts on the DAY rules from before 2.0 treat the same limit as a breach. Check which version your dashboard shows.

Consistency rule
50% eval / 40% funded
Evaluation: your best day must not exceed 50% of total profit to pass. Live Virtual: your best day must not exceed 40% of the profit accumulated since the last withdrawal to request a payout. It never breaches the account; you keep trading until the share falls.Divide your best day by 0.5 (evaluation) or 0.4 (Live Virtual) to get the minimum total profit you need.

Contract scaling (Live Virtual)
breach if exceeded
50K starts at 2 E-minis / 20 micros and moves to 3 / 30 above $1,500 profit; 100K and 150K start at 3 / 30 and step up to 6 / 60 and 9 / 90. The 10K Live Virtual account has no scaling plan. The tier is judged on current balance including open and closed intraday profit.Evaluations use the full contract size from day one. The scaling ladder only applies after you pass.

Inactivity
1 trade a week
Live Virtual accounts need at least one completed trade (entry and exit) per trading week, Sunday 6:00 PM ET to Friday 4:10 PM ET. Missing a week is a breach that needs a Live Reset. You can pause the account for 7, 14 or 21 days (Safe Custody) from the dashboard.A pause cannot be cancelled early. The DAY rules from before 2.0 applied inactivity to evaluations as well.

Withdrawal gates
3 profit days + SafetyNet
Each request needs at least 3 profitable days, 40% consistency and a balance above the SafetyNet threshold: $10,500 / $52,500 / $104,500 / $156,500. Only profit above the threshold can be withdrawn and the SafetyNet itself is never paid out.Profit days can be consecutive or not. Trading on after a request is allowed, but a drop in balance cancels the request.

3% cap / 90% / 6 payouts
Each request is capped at 3% of the starting balance: $300 / $1,500 / $3,000 / $4,500, which pays the trader $270 / $1,350 / $2,700 / $4,050 at 90%. Each account allows 6 withdrawals; the account is closed after the sixth. Requests are processed within 24 business hours after the 5:00 PM ET close.Rise deducts $20 from the first approved payout of each month. Crypto payouts are USDC on ERC-20 through Finrock.

Copy trading
own accounts, built-in tool
Copy trading is allowed only through UProfit’s integrated tool and only between your own accounts: up to 20 evaluations, 3 Live Virtual accounts and 1 Funded Live account. Copying between different users is not allowed.Only entries and exits are copied. Stops and targets live on the main account; a stop placed by hand on a copied account can open an unwanted new trade.

Open loss and lock-limit rules
1.5% open loss
The Terms list as prohibited: open trades in negative territory exceeding 1.5% of the account balance, holding positions within 2% of a product’s lock limit, trades outside the best bid or offer, and fills inconsistent with live markets. On a 50K account 1.5% is $750 of open loss on one position, well inside the $2,000 drawdown. This is a conduct rule judged at review, not an automatic breach.

Scalping and trade size
reviewed, not banned
UProfit reviews the share of profit from trades under about 60 seconds and whether stops are automated. It recommends at most 50 E-minis or 350 micros a day; these are guidelines, not hard limits.Profits judged to break best practices can be cut from a payout. Expect closer review on fast-trade-heavy accounts.

How UProfit Accounts Work

UProfit runs a three-stage path. All evaluation programs are monthly subscriptions that renew every 30 days until you pass or cancel.

StageWhat it isMain rules that applyHow you move on
1. Evaluation (SIM)Simulated account sold as a monthly subscription. DAY 2.0 comes in Soft and Flex variants and four sizes.Profit target, EOD trailing drawdown, Soft daily loss limit, fixed contract cap, 50% consistency, flat by 4:10 PM ET. No time limit.Reach the target with 50% consistency. UProfit says two successful days can be enough. The system moves the account within 12 hours.
2. Live Virtual (monetized SIM)Still a demo account, but UProfit pays up to 90% of simulated profits.Same drawdown and Soft daily limit, plus contract scaling, one trade a week, the SafetyNet, 40% consistency, 3 profit days per payout, 3% payout cap and 6 payouts per account.Complete KYC and sign the agreement within 30 calendar days of passing. After the maximum rewards you may get a Funded Live offer.
3. Funded LiveReal capital, offered by UProfit to top Live Virtual traders. One Funded Live account per person. The live-account page lists a daily loss limit, EOD drawdown, contract scaling and one trade a week; exact values are not published.By invitation. Your other Live Virtual accounts are suspended when you take the offer.

UProfit says a breached evaluation has three ways back: pay for a reset at any time (it does not change your billing date), wait for the next renewal and ask support for a free reset, or cancel and buy a new program. Cancel at least one business day before renewal to avoid the next charge. You can buy by card, PayPal or crypto through CoinPayments (USDT, USDC, BTC). The Terms say all sales are final.

UProfit Evaluation Rules Side by Side

Soft and Flex evaluations share every rule except the daily loss limit. Values below are from the per-account help articles updated October 8 and 9, 2026, and the DAY 2.0 pricing page on the check date.

  • Time limit: none. The subscription simply renews every 30 days until you pass.
  • Minimum days: UProfit says “with 2 days of successful trading, you can advance”. The 50% rule makes a one-day pass impossible anyway, because your only day would be 100% of profit.
  • Instruments: CME, COMEX and NYMEX futures (equity indices, currencies, livestock, energy, metals). Commissions are $5 per E-mini and $1 per E-micro and count toward the Soft daily limit.
  • Platforms: TradingView and Tradoverse, desktop and mobile.
  • Inactivity: the 2.0 articles apply the one-trade-a-week rule to Live Virtual only.
Prices. The pricing page shows the list price struck through and a sale price, which is what the table uses. Several help articles quote the list price as the subscription, and the 10K articles quote the sale price. For current offers and codes see UProfit deals.

UProfit Soft vs Flex: Which Rule Set Fits You

The only rule difference is the daily loss limit, and it changes how a bad day ends. Prices also differ: Flex costs $10 more on 10K and $10 to $30 more on the larger sizes at the sale prices shown on the check date.

Same bad day on a 50K account (floor at $48,000)SoftFlex
Down $1,100 including commissionsAccount locked until the 6:00 PM ET reopen. Balance $48,900, account alive. You can keep trading. Nothing stops you.
Down $1,500Not possible in one day; the lock stopped you at $1,100 (slippage aside).Balance $48,500. Alive, but only $500 from the floor.
Down $2,000Not possible in one day.Balance $48,000 touches the floor: breach, position closed, reset needed.

Soft protects you from yourself on a tilt day but also stops you from trading back a loss in the same session. Flex suits traders who take a few larger swings a day and size so that one stop cannot reach the floor. UProfit’s own Flex FAQ puts it plainly: without a daily stop, a bad day can bring you closer to the total drawdown faster.

How UProfit Drawdown Works

UProfit uses an end-of-day (EOD) trailing drawdown on every DAY 2.0 account. Three things decide whether you survive it:

  • When it moves: only after the session, using the highest balance reached in that session. If you made no new high, the floor stays where it was.
  • Where it stops: at the starting balance. On 50K the floor can rise from $48,000 to $50,000 and no further, which happens once your high reaches $52,000.
  • When it breaches: at any moment. Open losses count, and closed trades add up. Touching the floor during the day closes the position and fails the account.
SizeDrawdownStarting floorHighest floorSession high that locks the floorWithdrawal threshold (Live Virtual)
10K$400$9,600$10,000$10,400$10,500
50K$2,000$48,000$50,000$52,000$52,500
100K$3,000$97,000$100,000$103,000$104,500
150K$4,500$145,500$150,000$154,500$156,500

Worked example: 50K account

DayHighest balance in the sessionCloseFloor for the next dayWhat happened
Start–$50,000$48,000Floor sits $2,000 below the start.
1$51,200$51,000$49,200New high of $51,200, so the floor moves to $51,200 – $2,000.
2$51,100$50,300$49,200No new high, so the floor does not move.
3$52,400$52,100$50,000$52,400 – $2,000 = $50,400, but the floor stops at the $50,000 starting balance.
4$52,100$50,000 touchedbreachAn intraday drop to $50,000 fails the account even though the day has not closed.
Session high or closing balance? UProfit’s wording is that the drawdown “is updated at the end of the day, taking as reference the highest balance reached in each session”. This example reads that as the highest balance during the session, which is the stricter reading: a winner you gave back still lifts the floor. If your dashboard shows the floor moving only with closing balances, you have more room than this example. Ask support to confirm on your account.
