Rules can change: The firm or platform controls the current wording. Confirm the linked source and your dashboard before you trade or request a payout.

QT Funded rules for every current account, with the funded-stage breach rules first. QT Funded sells five plans with different drawdown, consistency, news and stop-loss rules, and several rules only start once you are funded. Use the plan picker to see the rules for your exact account, then check the dollar tables and worked examples before you trade.

Checked October 11, 2026. Every value on this page was read from QT Funded’s own help centre plan and rule articles, its evaluations page comparison table and its terms of service on that date. BestProps did not buy an account, so dashboard behaviour was not verified by purchase. Where the firm’s own pages disagree, this page says so and follows the newest plan article for that product.

QT Funded Rule Checks

Rule areaOfficial-source snapshotWhat to verify + evidence
QT ONE loss limits
3% daily / 6% static
One phase, 6% target, 3% daily drawdown measured from the higher of the previous day’s closing balance or equity, 6% static maximum drawdown, no minimum days, no consistency score. The daily floor moves up with yesterday’s close, so a profitable day raises tomorrow’s floor. On a $10,000 account a $11,000 close sets the next floor at $10,700.

QT TWO loss limits
4% daily / 8% static
Phase 1 needs 8%, Phase 2 needs 5%, at least 4 trading days per phase, 4% daily drawdown fixed to the starting balance and subtracted from the previous day’s closing balance, 8% static maximum drawdown. The daily floor is set from the previous closing balance only, not equity. Open trades that close lower can still push you through it intraday.

Two-phase exposure cap
75% of daily limit
In QT TWO evaluations, total risk exposure must stay below 75% of the daily drawdown limit at all times. At or above it, the risk team may deny funding or reset the account to Phase 1.This is judged at review after you pass, so a passed account can still be sent back. On $100,000 the daily limit is $4,000, so combined open risk must stay under $3,000.

Funded floating-loss limit
1% / 1% per symbol / 2%
Funded QT ONE: combined floating loss may not exceed 1% (hard breach). Funded QT TWO: 1% (first breach soft, second hard). QT INSTANT: 1% floating loss on any single instrument (hard breach). BNPL funded: 2%.This is separate from the daily and maximum drawdown. A trade that later closes in profit still breaches if it showed the loss while open.

Every position on a funded QT TWO account and every QT INSTANT position must have a stop loss within 60 seconds of opening.QT ONE, QT POWER and BNPL plan articles publish no 60-second rule, but the all-or-nothing rule lists trading without stop-loss protection as prohibited on every plan.

QT INSTANT trailing drawdown
3% fixed / 6% trailing
Daily drawdown fixed at 3% of the starting balance. Maximum drawdown trails the highest recorded balance or floating equity by 6% of the starting balance and never moves down. It locks at the starting balance once a withdrawal is made.Floating equity counts, so an open winner that gives back profit still lifts the floor. Applies to Instant accounts bought on or after August 11, 2026.

QT INSTANT payout gate
30% / 3% buffer
No single day can exceed 30% of total profit at withdrawal, at least 4 profitable days of +1% each, 5% minimum withdrawal and a 3% buffer, so the account must be up 8% before the first 5% payout. Split 100%, 4-day cycle. The buffer exists because the drawdown locks at the starting balance after a withdrawal.

QT POWER consistency
35% both stages
Both the challenge and the funded account must keep a 35% consistency score: no single day above 35% of total profit. 6% and 6% targets, 4% fixed daily, 8% maximum, 4 days per phase, 80% split, 14-day cycle.Consistency applies during the evaluation too, so hitting 6% in one or two big days does not pass.

20% / 5 days / 3% minimum
6% target, 3% daily trailing and 6% max trailing drawdown, 2% open floating loss in evaluation and funded, news allowed. Funded payouts need 5 minimum days, a 20% consistency score and at least 3% profit; profit is capped at 5% per 14-day cycle at 80%.The activation fee must be paid within 7 calendar days of passing or the funded account is not issued.

QT ONE Rules

QT ONE is the one-phase plan. Its evaluation is the loosest QT Funded sells: hit 6%, never lose 3% of the starting balance in a day, never drop 6% below the starting balance. There is no minimum number of days, so the firm says it can be passed in a single day, and there is no consistency score. Once the risk team approves the pass, the funded account adds the rules that matter.

QT ONE evaluation rules

  • Profit target: 6% of the starting balance.
  • Daily drawdown: 3% of the starting balance. At the start of each trading day the platform takes the higher of the previous day’s closing balance or closing equity and subtracts that fixed amount; the floor then stays put for the rest of the day.
  • Maximum drawdown: 6% static, measured from the starting balance. It never trails.
  • No minimum trading days and no consistency score.
  • All-or-nothing trading (no stop loss, risking more than 75% of the daily drawdown, excessive margin) is still prohibited.
Previous day’s higher close (balance or equity)Daily loss amountToday’s floor
$10,000$300$9,700
$11,000$300$10,700
$11,500$300$11,200

That table is QT Funded’s own $10,000 example. Note what it means in practice: the 6% static maximum drawdown floor on that account stays at $9,400, but after a day closing at $11,500 a single bad session can only fall to $11,200 before breaching. The daily rule is the one that ends most QT ONE accounts that are already in profit.

QT ONE funded account rules

  • Floating loss: the combined unrealised loss across all open positions must never exceed 1% of the account size. Exceeding it is a hard breach.
  • Profit split 70%, payout cycle every 4 trading days, 4 minimum trading days, no consistency score.
  • Inactivity: 7 days. If you never trade, the clock starts at purchase; after that it runs from your most recent closed trade.
  • Prohibited strategies and maximum capital allocation rules apply.
Sizing check for funded QT ONE. On a $50,000 account the 1% open-loss limit is $500 across everything open. Two EURUSD positions of 1 lot each move about $10 per pip each, so together they reach $500 of floating loss after a 25-pip move against you. That is a much tighter constraint than the $1,500 daily drawdown, and it applies even if the stop loss is further away.

QT TWO Rules

QT TWO is the two-phase plan with the biggest account sizes ($10,000 to $200,000) and the most funded-stage rules: a 1% open-loss limit, a 60-second stop-loss timer, a 5% profit cap per cycle and the news restriction.

QT TWO evaluation rules

  • Phase 1 target 8%, Phase 2 target 5%, at least 4 trading days in each phase.
  • Daily drawdown fixed at 4% of the starting balance, subtracted from the previous day’s closing balance. On $10,000 it is always $400.
  • Maximum drawdown 8% static.
  • Exposure rule: total open risk must stay below 75% of the daily drawdown limit at all times. If it reaches 75%, the risk team may deny funding or reset the account to Phase 1.
  • The journey article says both phases are reviewed together after Phase 2, and Phase 2 credentials arrive 30 to 60 minutes after passing Phase 1.

$200,000$8,000under $6,000$184,000$16,000 / $10,000

QT TWO funded account rules

  • Floating loss: combined unrealised loss may not exceed 1% of the account size. The first breach is a soft breach, the second a hard breach.
  • Stop loss: every position must have a stop loss within 60 seconds of opening, or the account is hard-breached.
  • Profit cap: 5% per cycle. Any profit above it is removed from the account before the next cycle.
  • Profit split 80%, 14-day cycle, at least 4 trading days of +0.5% profit each.
  • News: restricted, with profit forfeited, according to the comparison table.
  • Inactivity: 14 days (plan article and inactivity article).
Worked QT TWO cycle on $100,000. The cap means the most a single 14-day cycle can pay you is 5% x $100,000 = $5,000 of profit, of which 80% is $4,000. You also need four separate days that each closed at least $500 (0.5%) in profit. If you make $7,000 in the cycle, $2,000 is removed before the next one starts, so there is no reason to press for more than the cap once you are near it.

QT Funded Instant Account Rules (QT INSTANT)

QT INSTANT skips the evaluation: you trade a funded account from the first trade and keep 100% of the profit share. The rules below apply to Instant accounts bought on or after August 11, 2026. Accounts bought earlier stay on the discontinued Instant rules described further down.

  • Daily drawdown fixed at 3% of the starting balance ($300 on $10,000), subtracted from the previous day’s closing balance.
  • Maximum drawdown 6% trailing: it follows the highest recorded balance or floating equity and stays 6% of the starting balance below it. It never moves back down.
  • Drawdown lock: once a withdrawal is made, the trailing drawdown locks at the starting balance.
  • Core rule 1, risk exposure: a floating loss of 1% or more on any individual instrument is a hard breach ($1,000 on $100,000).
  • Core rule 2, stop loss: every position needs a stop loss within 60 seconds of opening, or it is a hard breach.
  • 30% consistency rule: no single day’s profit may exceed 30% of total profit at withdrawal.
  • Payouts: at least 4 profitable days of +1% each, 5% minimum withdrawal, 3% buffer, 100% split, 4-day cycle.
  • No news trading restriction. Inactivity 14 days.
Highest recorded balance or equityMaximum drawdown floor
$10,000$9,400
$10,200$9,600
$10,500$9,900
$11,000$10,400
$11,500$10,900
$12,000$11,400

The QT INSTANT buffer, step by step

The 3% buffer and the drawdown lock work together. On a $50,000 Instant account:

StepBalanceMaximum drawdown floorWhat the rule says
Start$50,000$47,000Floor trails 6% ($3,000) below the highest balance or equity.
Reach +8%$54,000$51,000Eligible for the first 5% ($2,500) withdrawal once the other conditions are met.
Withdraw 5%$51,500$50,000 (locked)The floor locks at the starting balance after a withdrawal.
Room left$1,500 above the floorstays $50,000That $1,500 is the 3% buffer the plan requires you to leave in.

Before that first payout you also need 4 days that each closed at least +1% ($500 on $50,000), and your best day must be no more than 30% of total profit: with $4,000 of profit, no day above $1,200. The 1% per-instrument limit is $500 here, so a single position can never sit $500 under water, whatever its stop loss says.

Old QT Instant rules (discontinued August 10, 2026)

The help centre keeps the old Instant article for accounts bought before the change. It lists 5 minimum trading days before a withdrawal, the same 3% fixed daily and 6% trailing maximum drawdown, a 25% consistency rule, a 2% exposure limit across all open trades and the news rule as a core rule. The Performance Fee Policy still describes this older Instant set (14-day cycle, 5 days, 5% minimum profit, 25% consistency). If your account was bought before August 11, 2026, check which rule set your dashboard shows before using the numbers above.

QT POWER Rules

QT POWER is the cheapest two-phase plan and the only one whose help article publishes leverage. Its distinctive rule is a 35% consistency score that applies during the challenge as well as on the funded account.

  • Profit target 6% in each of the two phases, at least 4 trading days per phase.
  • Daily drawdown 4% fixed, based on the initial balance; maximum drawdown 8% of the initial balance.
  • Leverage: forex 1:100, indices and metals 1:35, crypto 1:2.5.
  • Consistency 35% on challenge and funded accounts: no single day above 35% of total profit, both for the target and at withdrawal.
  • The standard news rule does not apply to QT POWER.
  • Profit split 80%, 14-day payout cycle, 4 minimum trading days. POWER accounts bought on or before August 10, 2026 had an on-demand first payout before switching to 14 days.
  • Inactivity 14 days. The all-or-nothing ban applies.
What 35% means for a QT POWER phase. On $100,000 the 6% target is $6,000. If the phase ended exactly at target, your best day could be at most $2,100 (35% of $6,000). A $3,000 day would need total profit of at least $8,571 before the score drops to 35%. The 4% daily limit is $4,000. The help article’s own example says the daily drawdown “will always be $3,000 or $4,000”; the stated rule is 4%, so use $4,000 and confirm on your dashboard.

QT 1 Step BNPL Rules

The Buy Now Pay Later 1-Step splits the fee into a small evaluation payment and an activation fee due after you pass. Its rules differ from QT ONE even though both are one-phase plans.

  • Evaluation: 6% target, 3% daily trailing drawdown, 6% maximum trailing drawdown, no minimum days, no consistency score.
  • Evaluation open floating loss must not exceed 2% at any time. News trading is allowed.
  • Activation: you have 7 calendar days after passing to pay the activation fee.
  • Funded: floating loss limit 2%, 5% profit cap per cycle, 80% split, standard 14-day cycle.
  • Payout eligibility: 5 minimum days, a 20% consistency score and at least 3% profit to request.
