TL;DR: QT Funded is the simulated prop trading brand of the Quant Tekel group. It sells one-time-fee forex and CFD accounts on MetaTrader 5 and TradeLocker: QT ONE (one 6% phase, 70% split, 4-day payout cycle), QT TWO (8% then 5%, 80% split, 14-day cycle), QT INSTANT (no evaluation, 100% split, 4-day cycle), QT POWER (6% and 6%, 80%), and a Buy Now Pay Later one-step. List prices on October 11, 2026 ran from $35 to $1,000, and the site-wide 60PLUS code (60% off, ending October 14) cut them to $14 to $400. The rules are short on paper, but the funded stages add hard floating-loss limits of 1% to 2%, 60-second stop-loss rules, profit caps, and risk interviews before payouts. Trustpilot shows 3.6 from 13,320 reviews with 19% one-star, Prop Firm Match has delisted the firm over payout delays, and Reddit has multiple 2026 threads about payouts held for weeks. That payout record is the main thing to weigh before buying.

Research status: Checked against the official QT Funded website, its evaluations page, help centre articles, terms of service and jurisdictional notice on October 11, 2026. Trustpilot, Reddit and Prop Firm Match were read the same day. Prices were read from the firm’s public pages and were not verified by purchase. Plans, codes, rules and country access change often, so recheck them at checkout.

QT Funded review verdict

QT Funded’s headline offer is simple: a 6% target, a 6% static drawdown, no consistency score, no news rule and no minimum days on QT ONE, with a payout cycle every four trading days. Prices are low, especially while the 60PLUS code is running, and the help centre publishes a separate article for every current plan with worked drawdown tables.

The simplicity stops at the funded stage. Every current plan adds a hard limit on open losses once you are funded (1% of the account on QT ONE and QT TWO, 1% per instrument on QT INSTANT, 2% on the Buy Now Pay Later plan). QT TWO and QT INSTANT require a stop loss within 60 seconds of every entry. QT TWO and the BNPL plan cap the profit you can take per cycle at 5%. Payouts can be routed through a discretionary risk interview, and the firm says a missed interview forfeits the payout.

The bigger issue is the payout record in 2026. Prop Firm Match lists QT Funded as delisted after reports of payout delays and says the firm would not commit to its remediation timelines. Trustpilot’s score has fallen to 3.6 with 19% one-star reviews, and the most recent one-star reviews describe payout denials for “malicious trading behaviour”, margin use and one-sided betting. Reddit has several threads from July to October 2026 about payouts pending for weeks. BestProps does not give QT Funded a numeric score in this review. If you buy, treat the fee as money you can lose, keep the rules for your exact plan, and record everything around a payout request.

Is QT Funded legit? Company, entities and payout record

QT Funded is a real, operating business with named legal entities, a working checkout, a help centre and a large customer base. Whether it is a good place to buy an account is a separate question, and the evidence on payouts is mixed at best. Here is what the firm’s own pages say about who you are dealing with.

Entity named by the firm Role, as the firm describes it Where it is stated
Quant Tekel SVG / Quant Tekel LLC Limited (St. Vincent and the Grenadines, EuroHouse, Richmond Hill Road, Kingstown) The contracting party. “All QTFunded services are provided by Quant Tekel SVG … Customers contract with Quant Tekel SVG.” Terms of service (last updated February 19, 2026) and jurisdictional notice
Quant Tekel Ltd (UK company 15923693, 1 Canada Square, Canary Wharf, London) Processes customer payments as group treasury. The firm says it does not provide regulated financial or trading services. Jurisdictional notice
Quant Tekel (Pty) Ltd (South Africa) A broker authorised by the Financial Sector Conduct Authority, FSP No. 53227, serving permitted jurisdictions in Africa and Asia through quanttekel.com. The notice says QTFunded.com offers no brokerage or live market access. Jurisdictional notice and the “Are you a broker?” help article

The About page says QT Funded was founded in 2023, is headquartered in London and is “regulated by the Financial Sector Conduct Authority in South Africa (FSCA licence 53227)”. Read that carefully: by the firm’s own jurisdictional notice, the FSCA licence belongs to the separate brokerage company, while the prop accounts are sold by an offshore St. Vincent entity and run on simulated funds. The evaluation itself is not a regulated product. BestProps did not check the FSCA register for this review. The terms are governed by South African law, all purchases are final with no refunds, and a card chargeback leads to a ban and forfeiture of every account.

All accounts are demo accounts. The terms say “all accounts offered to our clients are demo accounts with simulated funds”, and the help centre describes the trading environment as running on partner broker infrastructure with live data feeds, variable spreads and slippage. A payout is a performance fee paid under the contract, not a withdrawal of your own trading capital.

The firm’s marketing figures (125,000+ traders, $17 million+ paid, 180+ countries) are the firm’s own claims and BestProps could not check them. The About page’s title tag still says 85,000+ traders, and its plan summary still names “QT 2-Step Elite”, a plan the help centre now marks as discontinued. On the payout record, see the Trustpilot, Reddit and Prop Firm Match section below.

QT Funded account types compared

The evaluations page sells three main plans (QT ONE, QT TWO, QT INSTANT) plus two “new plans” (QT POWER and Buy Now Pay Later). Accounts bought earlier on the discontinued QT 2 Step, QT 2 Step Elite and old QT Instant plans keep their own rules. The table below uses the firm’s comparison table and the help centre plan article for each account, read October 11, 2026.

QT ONE is the plan the homepage pushes: one phase, no day count, and it can be passed in a single session. Its trade-off is the lowest split (70%) and a 1% open-loss limit once funded. QT TWO costs less per dollar of drawdown and pays 80%, but adds a news restriction, a stop-loss timer and a 5% profit cap per cycle. QT INSTANT skips the evaluation and pays 100%, but uses a trailing drawdown, a 30% consistency score and a 3% buffer before the first withdrawal. QT POWER is the cheapest two-step and lifts the news rule, but carries a 35% consistency score in both stages.

QT Funded pricing and the current code

Every plan is a one-time fee. The terms say the firm does not run recurring billing, and the plan articles describe “no recurring subscriptions”. Prices below were read from the rendered evaluations page on October 11, 2026, for the MetaTrader 5 version in US dollars. The page shows the list price struck through and the price with the 60PLUS code already applied. They were read from the firm’s public pages on that date and were not verified by purchase.

Account size QT ONE QT TWO QT INSTANT QT POWER
$5,000 $110 list / $44 with code Not offered (card lists $10K to $200K) $75 / $30 $35 / $14
$10,000 $190 / $76 $70 / $28 $125 / $50 $60 / $24
$25,000 $350 / $140 $140 / $56 $230 / $92 $125 / $50
$50,000 $625 / $250 $275 / $110 $375 / $150 $237 / $95
$100,000 $1,000 / $400 $550 / $220 $750 / $300 $475 / $190
$200,000 Not offered $1,000 / $400 Not offered Not offered

TradeLocker adds $5 to the list price of QT ONE, QT TWO and QT INSTANT ($2 after the code). QT POWER and the BNPL plan were offered on MetaTrader 5 only. The evaluations page title mentions accounts “from $2.5K”, but the size selector on October 11 started at $5K.

Buy Now Pay Later 1-Step prices

The BNPL plan splits the cost into two payments. The evaluation itself is listed at $2.50 at every size ($1 shown with the code). If you pass and clear the risk review, you pay an activation fee within seven calendar days to unlock the funded account.

Account size Upfront evaluation fee Activation fee after passing (list)
$5,000 $2.50 $65
$10,000 $2.50 $100
$25,000 $2.50 $180
$50,000 $2.50 $325
$100,000 $2.50 $650

The BNPL card says “60PLUS applies to activation – 60% off + free activation account of same size”. BestProps could not confirm at what point the code is applied to the activation payment without passing an account, so budget for the full activation fee.

The current QT Funded code

The only code QT Funded displays publicly on October 11, 2026 is in its site-wide banner: “October offer: 60% off + a free full-size account + 10% profit share with code 60PLUS · ends 14 October”. The site’s offer text describes it as “60% off everything + free full size account + 10% profit share after purchase”. The free account is issued as a QT Bonus account within 24 hours of a qualifying purchase, and Bonus accounts run on a fixed 30-day payout cycle rather than the plan’s normal cycle. The help centre says coupon stacking is prohibited unless a promotion explicitly allows it, and that promotion benefits are forfeited if you break the terms. Coupon sites list other QT Funded codes; BestProps only reprints the code the firm itself publishes.

Two things stand out about the discounts. First, a 60% discount has been the displayed offer rather than an occasional sale, so treat the struck-through list price as a reference, not what most buyers pay. Second, the About page says traders can add +10% to the split at checkout (80% to 90%). That add-on price was not shown without starting a checkout.

What each plan costs per $1,000 of drawdown

Dividing the fee by the maximum drawdown in dollars shows how much loss room each dollar of fee buys. At $25,000, with the code applied:

Plan at $25K Price with code Maximum drawdown Fee per $1,000 of drawdown
QT POWER $50 8% = $2,000 $25.00
QT TWO $56 8% = $2,000 $28.00
QT INSTANT $92 6% trailing = $1,500 $61.33
QT ONE $140 6% static = $1,500 $93.33

QT ONE is the most expensive way to buy drawdown, and you pay that premium for one phase and a four-day payout cycle. The INSTANT figure flatters the plan slightly, because its drawdown trails your highest balance or equity until your first withdrawal.

QT Funded challenge and evaluation rules

QT ONE evaluation

Reach 6% without breaching a 3% daily drawdown or a 6% static maximum drawdown. There is no minimum number of trading days and no consistency score, so the firm says the plan can be passed in a single day. The daily limit is always 3% of the starting balance, but the level it is measured from moves up: at the start of each day the platform takes the higher of the previous day’s closing balance or closing equity and subtracts the fixed amount. On a $10,000 account, closing the prior day at $11,000 sets that day’s floor at $10,700.

QT TWO evaluation

Phase 1 needs 8% and Phase 2 needs 5%, each over at least four trading days. The daily drawdown is a fixed 4% of the starting balance, subtracted from the previous day’s closing balance. The maximum drawdown is 8% static. There is also an evaluation exposure rule: total open risk must not reach 75% of the daily drawdown limit at any time. If it does, the risk team may deny funding or send the account back to Phase 1, even if the target was hit. On a $100,000 account, the daily limit is $4,000, so total open risk across all trades has to stay below $3,000.

QT POWER evaluation

Two phases of 6% each with at least four trading days per phase, a 4% fixed daily drawdown and an 8% maximum drawdown from the initial balance. A 35% consistency score applies to both the challenge and the funded account: no single day’s profit may exceed 35% of total profit. The plan article publishes leverage of 1:100 on forex, 1:35 on indices and metals, and 1:2.5 on crypto. The standard news rule does not apply.

Buy Now Pay Later 1-Step evaluation

One 6% phase, a 3% trailing daily drawdown, a 6% trailing maximum drawdown, no minimum days and no consistency score. During the evaluation, open floating loss must not exceed 2% at any time. News trading is allowed. After you pass, you have seven calendar days to pay the activation fee.

After you pass

Passed accounts go to a risk review before any funded account is issued. The help centre says Phase 2 credentials arrive 30 to 60 minutes after passing Phase 1, a contract is issued within 24 business hours (not counting the day you pass), and the funded account follows within about 30 minutes of signing, provided KYC is complete. Any profit made on a funded account before the contract and KYC are complete is not eligible for a payout.

QT Funded instant account rules

The current QT INSTANT rules apply to accounts bought on or after August 11, 2026. You start on a funded account with no evaluation, so every rule applies from the first trade:

  • Daily drawdown of 3% of the starting balance, fixed in dollars.
  • Maximum drawdown of 6% that trails the highest recorded balance or floating equity and never moves down. Once you make a withdrawal, it locks at the starting balance.
  • No floating loss of 1% or more on any single instrument, and a stop loss on every position within 60 seconds. Either breach is a hard breach.
  • For a payout: four profitable days of at least +1%, a 30% consistency score, a 5% minimum withdrawal, and a 3% buffer. The firm spells out that “traders must reach 8% profit on the account before becoming eligible to request their first 5% payout.”
  • 100% profit split, a 4-day cycle, no news restriction, and a 14-day inactivity rule.
  • Combined instant accounts are capped at $100,000.

The instant account is the plan where the trailing drawdown matters most. Because it trails floating equity, an open trade that runs up and then reverses can raise the floor before you close anything.

Funded-stage rules that end accounts

Most complaints about prop firms come from funded-stage rules that are not on the price card. These are QT Funded’s, by plan, as published on October 11, 2026.

Funded rule What it means in practice Breach type
QT ONE floating loss 1% Combined unrealised loss across all open trades may never reach 1% of account size: $500 on $50,000. Hard breach
QT TWO floating loss 1% Same 1% combined limit. First breach soft, second hard
QT TWO and QT INSTANT stop-loss timer Every position needs a stop loss within 60 seconds of opening. Hard breach
QT INSTANT per-instrument loss 1% Floating loss on any one instrument may not reach 1%: $1,000 on $100,000. Hard breach
BNPL floating loss 2% Combined open loss may not exceed 2% at any time. Breach
Inactivity No trade for 7 days (QT ONE) or 14 days (other current plans), counted from purchase or the last closed trade. Hard breach
All-or-nothing trading Risking more than 75% of the daily drawdown, trading without stops, using an excessive share of margin, holding through major news without risk control. Prohibited strategy
Reverse trading Opposite positions on the same asset across accounts held over 2 minutes, or more than 3 times in total. Hard breach, possible platform ban
Restricted IP Connecting from a restricted country, including from a journaling tool, or to MT5 from a US or Canadian IP address. Hard breach, account terminated

Two rules are discretionary and deserve attention. “Using an excessive proportion of the available margin” has no published number, and recent Trustpilot and Reddit posts describe payouts denied for “high margin usage” by traders who say they stayed inside every numeric limit. “Toxic trading behaviour” covers “any trading activity deemed abusive, manipulative, or disruptive by the Risk Department”. If your strategy uses large size relative to the account, ask support in writing how margin use is judged before you trade the funded account.

QT Funded payouts, cycles and risk interviews

The Performance Fee Policy (updated September 30, 2026) sets the general payout process for every plan:

  • You can request a payout at the end of each completed cycle once that plan’s minimums are met. Close every trade and pending order first.
  • Requests are processed “within 24 business hours”, and the day you request does not count.
  • The minimum performance fee is 1% of the account or $100, whichever is higher, and 5% on the instant model.
  • Payment is in crypto (USDC on ERC-20) or by wire, and all fees are on the recipient. The wallet address you submit is final.
  • A new funded account is issued once a payout is approved.
  • To count as a profitable day, a trade must be opened and closed the same day and make at least 0.5% of the account.
  • Trades placed on the day of payout approval, after the approval, do not count toward the next cycle’s minimums until the next rollover.

Risk interviews. The policy says risk interviews are issued at the firm’s discretion and are mandatory when issued. “If you do not attend your scheduled risk interview, you will forfeit your payout.” You may be able to reschedule if you give notice, but the firm asks traders not to contact support to request an earlier slot. Several 2026 Reddit threads describe payouts held for weeks while an interview was scheduled, cancelled or rescheduled.

Missed payout days. If you miss your payout request day, you must complete another cycle. The policy suggests contacting the risk team through live chat to adjust the date.

The QT Capital program (see below) also affects payouts: joining it permanently forfeits all QT Funded accounts and any pending profit share.

Worked examples: drawdown, consistency and first payout

QT ONE, $50,000 account

  • Target: 6% = $3,000, so you pass at $53,000.
  • Maximum drawdown: 6% static = $3,000, so the floor stays at $47,000 however high the balance goes.
  • Daily drawdown: 3% = $1,500. If yesterday’s higher of closing balance or equity was $51,200, today’s floor is $49,700.
  • Once funded, combined open loss must stay under 1% = $500. Three trades each $200 in the red at the same moment would breach the account, even with stops placed further away.
  • Payout: 70% split, requested at the end of each four-trading-day cycle. A $2,000 profit cycle pays $1,400 before payment fees.

QT TWO, $100,000 account

  • Phase 1: 8% = $8,000, Phase 2: 5% = $5,000, at least four trading days in each.
  • Exposure rule in the evaluation: 75% of the $4,000 daily limit = $3,000 maximum combined open risk.
  • Funded cycle: 14 days, at least four days of +0.5% ($500). The 5% profit cap means only $5,000 of profit is paid per cycle. At 80% that is up to $4,000. Profit above $5,000 is removed from the account before the next cycle.

QT INSTANT, $10,000 account: reaching the first payout

  • You need 8% profit ($800) before you can request the first 5% ($500) withdrawal, because of the 3% buffer.
  • You need at least four days of +1% ($100 or more).
  • The 30% consistency score means your best day can be at most 30% of total profit at withdrawal. With $800 profit, no day can exceed $240.
  • One pattern that meets every condition: four days of $200 each. Best day $200 / total $800 = 25%.
  • One that fails: days of $450, $150, $100 and $100. Total $800, but the best day is 56% of profit. You would need to keep trading until total profit reached $1,500 (so $450 is 30%) before requesting.
  • Drawdown along the way: the 6% trailing floor starts at $9,400 and moves up with the highest balance or equity. At a high of $10,800 it sits at $10,200. After the withdrawal, it locks at $10,000.

QT POWER, 35% consistency

The firm’s formula is: Consistency Score = (best trading day profit / total profit) x 100. On a $10,000 Phase 1, the 6% target is $600. A $300 day would be 50% of the target, so you would need total profit of at least $858 ($300 / 0.35) before that day stops failing the score. Spreading gains, for example $150 a day over four days, keeps the score at 25%.

News, weekend and prohibited strategies

News rule (QT TWO and older plans). No new entries and no exits within 5 minutes before and 5 minutes after a restricted event. Restricted events are red-folder releases on Forex Factory plus CPI, FOMC statements and meetings, Non-Farm Employment and USD PMI for all pairs. A red event for one currency restricts every pair with that currency and indices priced in it. Modifying stop losses and take profits and cancelling orders is allowed. On QT TWO the comparison table states the penalty as “profit forfeited”. QT ONE, QT INSTANT, QT POWER and the BNPL plan do not apply the standard news rule, but the prohibited-strategy rules still cover “holding positions through major news events without risk control”.

Weekend. You may hold positions over the weekend, but you cannot open new trades or modify existing stops and targets until the market reopens. Orders hit over the weekend fill at the next available price, and the firm says a black swan event during the closure can void a held trade’s profit or loss.

Prohibited strategies. Arbitrage, latency trading, front-running price feeds, mispricing exploitation, high-frequency trading including tick scalping, order spamming, “flooding servers via algorithm misuse”, reverse trading or group hedging across accounts, one-sided betting, and all-or-nothing trading. Trades filled during extreme volatility can be removed from your profit and loss if the firm deems them unrealistic.

Expert advisors and copy trading. The help centre has no standalone article on expert advisors or trade copiers. The prohibited list targets HFT, latency trading and algorithm misuse, and the reverse-trading rule makes copying opposite positions across your own accounts a breach. Ask support in writing before running any automated strategy.

How many QT Funded accounts you can have

  • Combined funded balances may not exceed $300,000 across all plans.
  • Combined instant funded balances may not exceed $100,000, and they count toward the $300,000.
  • When you are at either limit, you may not trade the same currency pair on more than one funded account at the same time.
  • Evaluation accounts are unlimited, and you may trade them all at once.

Going over either cap, or trading the same pair across accounts at the cap, is a hard breach.

Platforms, spreads and commissions

The evaluations page lets you choose MetaTrader 5 or TradeLocker. The help centre platform article (updated August 11, 2026) also lists cTrader, but cTrader was not selectable on October 11, 2026. Because of QT Funded’s licence terms with MetaQuotes and Spotware, residents of the United States and Canada may not use MetaTrader 5, and the firm says logging in to MT5 from a US or Canadian IP address, including over a VPN or VPS while travelling, forfeits the account. US traders are directed to TradeLocker.

Commissions are $4 per round lot ($2 to open and $2 to close a 1-lot position), and commissions count toward the exposure calculation. The firm describes its spreads as variable interbank spreads on partner broker infrastructure, with slippage and execution delay simulated. It does not publish a spread table. Some reviewers mention very tight EUR/USD spreads, but spreads vary by account and time, so check the symbol specification on your own account. Leverage is only published for QT POWER (1:100 forex, 1:35 indices and metals, 1:2.5 crypto).

Markets on QT Funded accounts are forex and CFDs on indices, metals and crypto. QT Funded futures accounts are not on sale yet. The futures page shows “Coming Soon” with a launch registration form.

QT Funded restricted countries

QT Funded publishes two lists that do not match. The help centre’s Restricted Countries article (updated September 9, 2026) is the more detailed and more recent one:

Country Restriction (help centre, September 9, 2026)
Iran, Iraq, Myanmar, Belarus, North Korea, South Korea, Pakistan, Syria, Egypt Restricted from the service
Russia Restricted on MT5
United States Restricted on MT5 and cTrader (TradeLocker allowed)
Canada Restricted on MT5

The jurisdictional notice in the site footer instead says the programs are not available to residents of Cyprus, Iran, North Korea, Sudan, Syria, Russia, “or any other jurisdiction where the offering would be contrary to local laws”. Cyprus and Sudan appear only on the footer list. Iraq, Myanmar, Belarus, South Korea, Pakistan and Egypt appear only in the help centre. If you live in any country on either list, get written confirmation from support before buying, because purchases are non-refundable and a restricted-IP connection is a hard breach with permanent termination. Using a VPN or VPS during KYC is also prohibited.

KYC, contract and getting started

  1. Buy the account with a card or payment method in your own name. Third-party card payments are banned and lead to forfeiture. Crypto can be paid from any wallet.
  2. Receive credentials by email within about one hour for card purchases or 24 hours for crypto purchases.
  3. Pass the evaluation (QT INSTANT skips this step).
  4. Complete KYC through Didit. Invitations go out after Phase 1 on QT ONE and BNPL, after Phase 2 on QT TWO and QT POWER, and 24 hours after payment on QT INSTANT. Passes are checked daily at 09:00 London time. Use a valid government photo ID in the same name as your account, and do it yourself.
  5. Sign the contract, sent from DigiS
