Rules can change: The firm or platform controls the current wording. Confirm the linked source and your dashboard before you trade or request a payout.

Leeloo Trading rules for every account it sells or still supports: the Foundation (LL) monthly accounts, the LB Bundle, Leeloo Express, Turbo, the Weekly (WK) account and the Leeloo Performance Account (PA) you trade after qualifying. Leeloo is a Montana-based futures firm (Natural Trading, LLC) that runs simulated accounts on Rithmic. Its practice-phase rules are short: hit the profit target, never touch the trailing drawdown, and trade at least 10 market days. There is no daily loss limit, no time limit and no contract scaling. The rules that decide most outcomes sit underneath: a drawdown that trails your open equity inside a trade, a 30% rule that blocks Performance Account payouts when one day is too big, a flipping limit, a ban on holding Performance Account positions through the close, and a manual review of every payout. This page covers each rule with dollar values for all six sizes, worked examples, two calculators, Leeloo news and rule changes in 2026, and the places where Leeloo’s own pages disagree.

Checked October 11, 2026. BestProps read Leeloo’s live homepage, Support page, LE and LB page, Bundles and Turbo sales page, Performance Account steps page and Terms of Service on that date. Leeloo’s help centre now asks for a login before it shows articles, so the help-centre rules below come from the most recent public copies saved by the Internet Archive (snapshots from May to September 2026), each cited with the article’s own “updated” date. BestProps did not buy an account, so dashboard behaviour and how Leeloo’s reviewers apply discretionary rules were not verified by purchase. Where Leeloo’s pages disagree, this page shows both versions and says which one it uses.

What can trip you up

Intra-trade trailThe maximum drawdown follows the highest open equity reached inside a trade, not your closed balance. In a practice account it never stops trailing, even after the target.
No daily limitLeeloo publishes no daily loss limit on its practice accounts. The trailing drawdown is the only hard loss rule.
Below 30%On a Performance Account your best day must be under 30% of total profit, counted over the life of the account, before a payout is approved.
10 market daysQualifying needs at least 10 traded U.S. market days on one account number. U.S. holidays do not count. There is no maximum.

Rows To Inspect First

These are the rules Leeloo’s own pages say end accounts or block payouts, and the ones traders who only read the account cards tend to miss. The labels explain why each row is surfaced; they are not a recommendation to buy or avoid any account.

Open profit moves your floor

If a $50K Launch trade is up $900 and you close it up $300, your floor has already risen by $900. You now have $1,900 of room, not $2,500. Leeloo’s own example uses a $100K account and a $600 peak.

hard breachall practice accounts

The trail keeps going after the target

Hit the target on day 6 and you still need 4 more market days. The drawdown keeps trailing your new highs, so a giveback after the target can still end the account.

hard breachbefore day 10

Performance Accounts must be flat at the close

The April 13, 2026 holding article bans holding any position through the close on a Performance Account and says balances are forfeited. The Support FAQ still allows up to 3 micros. Plan for flat by 15 minutes before the close.

Maximum drawdown (LTMAB / ALTV)
trailing, intra-trade, hard breach
A fixed dollar amount ($1,500 on $25K up to $7,500 on $300K) below the highest open equity the account reaches, updated in real time during open trades. In a practice account it never stops trailing.Touching it auto-liquidates the position and locks the account (“Order can be placed by Administrators only”). On a Performance Account the floor stops at the starting balance plus $100.

Consistency rule (30% rule)
payout gate, Performance Account
Your best day must be below 30% of total profit. The July 2025 article says it applies “to the life of the PA for all traded days regardless of payouts”.Not a breach in itself; it blocks or reduces the payout. No consistency rule in the practice phase (Turbo says “None during Evaluation”).

Flipping
5% of trading days
No more than 5% of trading days may be “flipping” days: low-effort trades taken only to get a day counted. 20 days traded allows 1.Judged by manual review of your normal daily profit, trade count, size, time of day and stop behaviour. The dashboard flipping percentage “means nothing”, says Leeloo.

Leeloo Trading Rules for Every Account Size

The Foundation (LL) monthly accounts and the LB Bundle use the same six sizes, targets, drawdowns and contract limits. The difference is billing: LL renews every 30 days until you cancel, while an LB Bundle is one payment for three accounts that expire after 30 days, and only one of the three can qualify. Prices below are the list prices on the homepage on the check date. The LL reset is $85; the sales page lists $99 for an LB reset.

Drawdown as a share of the account shrinks as accounts grow: 6% on the $25K Aspire, 5% on Launch, 3% on Climb, 3.33% on Cruise, 2.6% on Burst and 2.5% on Explode, while the target stays at about 6%. On the $300K Explode you need $20,000 of profit with only $7,500 of room below the highest point, a ratio of 2.67 to 1. On Aspire the ratio is 1 to 1.

How the Leeloo Trailing Drawdown Works

Leeloo calls its maximum drawdown the Limited Trailing Minimum Account Balance (LTMAB) or the Auto Liquidate Threshold Value (ALTV), the column name in the R|Trader Pro dashboard. Three things set it apart from end-of-day drawdowns at many futures firms:

  • It trails open equity, intra-trade. The floor moves up the moment your unrealised profit makes a new high, even if you close the trade lower. Leeloo’s example: a $100,000 account with $3,000 drawdown starts with a floor of $97,000. A trade goes $600 into profit, so the floor becomes $97,600. The trade closes up only $100, and the floor stays at $97,600 with the balance at $100,100.
  • It never stops in the practice phase. The article says it “will NEVER stop trailing” during the practice account, including after you pass the target, so a big run-up before day 10 lifts the floor above your starting balance.
  • Fees and commissions count. The 3-contract example says the account “cannot drop below a loss of $1,500 including fees/commissions”.
  • Breach is automatic. When the ALTV is hit, the position is liquidated and only administrators can place orders. You must reset or buy a new account to keep trading. A monthly renewal does not reset a failed account.

Worked example: $50K Launch, $2,500 drawdown

MomentBalanceHighest open equity so farFloor (ALTV)Room left
Start$50,000$50,000$47,500$2,500
Day 1 trade peaks at +$900, closed at +$300$50,300$50,900$48,400$1,900
Day 3 losing day, -$1,200$49,100$50,900$48,400$700
Day 6 balance reaches the $3,000 target$53,000$53,200$50,700$2,300
Days 7 to 10 still needed; a $2,300 giveback ends it$50,700$53,200$50,700$0, account lost

The third row is the usual surprise: after a losing day the account sits only $700 above the floor, because day 1’s open-profit peak raised the floor for good. In the fourth row the target is met but the floor is already $700 above the starting balance, and four more trading days are still required.

Performance Account: the drawdown lock

On the Investor Performance Account the drawdown trails the same way until your open equity reaches the starting balance plus the drawdown plus $100. From then on the floor stays at the starting balance plus $100 and never moves again. The LB cards on the sales page call this the “Drawdown Lock”. Turbo accounts lock after the first payout instead.

AccountDrawdownLock triggers at open equity ofLocked floorMax per payout (LB)

Explode $300K$7,500$307,600$300,100$3,000

Leeloo trailing drawdown calculator

  • Track the “Auto Liquidate Threshold Value” column in R|Trader Pro, not “Minimum Account Balance”. The ALTV is the live number.
  • Use the ALTV to set an emergency stop on every trade. Leeloo’s troubleshooting article warns that Rithmic does not respect OCO links while you are offline.
  • The holding article warns that price moves before the 18:00 Eastern reopen can raise the ALTV while you cannot manage the position, so you may reopen with less cushion than you closed with.

Does Leeloo Have a Daily Loss Limit?

No. Leeloo lists “No Daily Drawdown” among its account features, and the sales page says there are “no daily loss limits on practice”. The Turbo tables state “Daily Loss Limit: None”. No Leeloo page read for this check publishes a daily limit for the Performance Account either. That makes the trailing drawdown the only hard loss line. On a $25K Aspire, a single $1,500 losing day from a fresh high still ends the account; there is just no separate, smaller daily line to hit first.

One older help example mentions a “2500 daily loss limit account” while explaining how open P&L rolls into cash at the daily reset. Read in context, it describes the trailing drawdown on an 8-contract account, not a separate daily rule.
