Rules can change: The firm or platform controls the current wording. Confirm the linked source and your dashboard before you trade or request a payout.

AquaFutures rules for the Flex Daily Loss, Flex No Daily Loss, Daily, Standard and Instant accounts, plus the live account and the rules that end accounts first. AquaFutures (also written Aqua Futures, and now sold as AquaFunded Futures on aquafunded.com) is a futures prop firm with one-phase evaluations and an Instant account with no evaluation. Every current account uses an end-of-day trailing drawdown, a daily loss limit that pauses rather than ends the account (except on Flex No Daily Loss, which has none), and full position size from day one. Where the accounts really differ is the consistency rule: 50% in the Flex challenge, 40% in the Daily evaluation, 40% on Standard funded accounts and 20% on every Instant payout. This page covers each rule with dollar values for every account size, drawdown and consistency calculators, the scaling question, banned strategies, the older account rules and the places where AquaFutures’ own pages disagree.

Checked October 11, 2026. Every value here was read on that date from the AquaFutures help centre (the current rule article for each account, the payout policy, prohibited strategies, trading hours, inactivity, price-limit, platform, instrument, commission, live-account and restricted-country articles, and the six archived “{Old}” account articles) and from the plan data on aquafunded.com/futures. BestProps did not buy an account, so dashboard behaviour and how the risk team applies discretionary rules were not verified by purchase.

What can trip you up

EOD trailingMaximum drawdown on every current account trails your end-of-day closing balance, not intraday highs.
50 / 40 / 40 / 20%Consistency: Flex challenge, Daily evaluation, Standard funded, Instant every payout. Never a breach.
3:10 PM CTEvery open position is closed at the daily market close. No overnight or weekend holding through the close.
10 secondsAt least half your trades, and half your profit, must come from trades held longer than 10 seconds.

Rows To Inspect First

These are the rules AquaFutures’ articles say end an account, block a payout or catch traders who skim the headline numbers. The labels explain why each row is surfaced; they are not a recommendation to buy or avoid any account.

Consistency changes by account and stage

Flex and Daily apply consistency only in the evaluation; Standard only once funded; Instant on every payout. On Instant, your best day must stay under 20% of the cycle’s profit, which means at least six profitable days before each payout.

payout gateper model

The floor trails your closing balance

Every account trails the maximum drawdown up with your end-of-day balance until it locks. On a $50K Flex account the floor starts at $48,000 and stops at $50,000. After any payout it locks at the starting balance plus $100.

hard breachEOD trailing

Short trades and bots are policed

No more than 99 trades a day, no fully automated or AI execution, and the 10-second microscalping test. These are judged after the fact and can cost you profits or a payout even if no drawdown line was touched.

AquaFutures Rule Checks

Rule areaOfficial-source snapshotWhat to verify + evidence
Maximum drawdown
EOD trailing, hard breach
Every current account: $2,000 on 50K, and $3,000 to $5,000 on larger sizes depending on the account. The floor follows your closed balance at the end of each trading day; intraday open profit does not move it.Flex locks the floor at the starting balance. Daily and Standard articles give a lock level of $52,100 / $103,600 / $155,100. Instant says only that the line “becomes static”. After any payout, every account locks at the starting balance plus $100.

Consistency rule
50% / 40% / 40% / 20%
Best day as a share of total profit. Flex (both): no more than 50%, challenge only. Daily: 40%, evaluation only. Standard: under 40%, funded only, each payout cycle. Instant: under 20%, every payout cycle.Failing it never breaches the account. In the evaluation you keep trading until the share drops; on a funded account the payout button stays unavailable until it does.

How AquaFutures Accounts Work

AquaFutures launched as a standalone futures site (aquafutures.io) in late 2024 and now sits inside AquaFunded, the Dubai-based CFD prop firm: aquafutures.io redirects to aquafunded.com/futures, and newer help articles say “AquaFunded Futures”. You pay a one-time fee for a simulated futures account. On Flex, Daily and Standard you pass a single evaluation phase and move to a simulated funded account after a review; on Instant you trade a funded account from the start. There is no activation fee and no monthly fee on any current account, and profits on funded accounts are paid at a 90% split. A small number of traders are later promoted to a live account with real CME execution.

Once you hit the target, AquaFutures promises a verdict of Pass, Fail or Reset within 24 business hours (Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 4 PM Central), followed by identity checks before the funded account is issued. Trading runs through Tradovate (with NinjaTrader and TradingView connected through it) or DeepCharts; the checkout prices both the same. List prices are shown in each account section below; on the check date the site also displayed a 25% code (AUTUMN, no expiry published), so checkout prices were lower.

AquaFutures Flex Daily Loss Rules

One phase with a 6% target and a 50% consistency rule in the challenge, a soft daily loss limit in both stages, and an end-of-day trailing drawdown that locks at your starting balance. Once funded there is no consistency rule; payouts need 5 winning days.

AccountTargetDaily loss (soft)Max drawdown (EOD)Max positionWinning daysPayout per requestList price
50K$3,000$1,200$2,000 (floor $48,000)4 minis / 40 micros$200 x 550% up to $2,000$131
100K$6,000$1,700$3,000 (floor $97,000)8 minis / 80 micros$250 x 550% up to $2,500$191
150K$9,000$3,000$4,500 (floor $145,500)12 minis / 120 micros$300 x 550% up to $3,000$365
  • Consistency: your best challenge day cannot be more than 50% of total challenge profit. AquaFutures’ example: a $2,000 best day needs $4,000 total. With the $3,000 target, the fastest pass is two days of $1,500.
  • The drawdown floor trails your end-of-day balance and locks at the starting balance: $48,000 at the start on 50K, $49,000 after a $51,000 close, locked at $50,000 once you close at $52,000 or higher.
  • Hitting the daily loss limit stops trading for the rest of the day; it is not a breach. The $1,200 limit on 50K is more than half the $2,000 drawdown, so one bad day can still leave little room.
  • From the second payout on, you also need net profit of $1,000 / $1,250 / $1,500 since the last approved payout.
  • Up to 5 funded Flex Daily Loss accounts can be active at once.

AquaFutures Flex No Daily Loss Rules

The same targets, drawdown and 50% challenge consistency as Flex Daily Loss, but no daily loss limit at all. The trade-off sits on the funded side: a fixed reward cap, three rewards per account, one funded account at a time and no path to live.

AccountTargetDaily lossMax drawdown (EOD)Max positionWinning daysReward per requestRewards per accountList price
50K$3,000None$2,000 (floor $48,000)4 minis / 40 micros$200 x 5up to $1,0003$156

150K$9,000None$4,500 (floor $145,500)12 minis / 120 micros$300 x 5up to $2,0003$427
  • After the third approved reward the funded account closes. “There is no fourth reward cycle.”
  • With no daily loss limit, the only loss line is the trailing drawdown: on a new 50K account a single $2,000 losing day ends it.
  • Hedging between your own accounts (opposite positions in the same or correlated contracts) is prohibited and can breach every account involved.
  • Flex No Daily Loss does not include scaling and cannot be promoted to live.
  • The plan data behind the aquafunded.com/futures selector titles this account “One Step Flex DLL” while its daily-loss row reads “None”. Check that the rules panel says “None” before you pay if this is the account you want.

AquaFutures Daily Account Rules

A one-phase evaluation with a 40% consistency rule, then a funded account with no consistency rule that can pay out every eligible day, capped per day and paid only from profit above a buffer.

  • Consistency: your best evaluation day cannot be more than 40% of total evaluation profit. AquaFutures’ example: with a $1,500 best day you need more than $3,750 in total.
  • With a $3,000 target and a 40% cap, the fastest pass is three days (for example $1,000, $1,000 and $1,000).
  • Payouts come only from profit above the threshold: a 50K account at
