Apex Trader Funding Prop Firm Review: use this firm page to check Apex payout gates, rule changes, platform issues, promo claims, and support routes before you buy, upgrade, request a payout, or trust a claim from a thread or video.
Check first: payout eligibility if money is involved, the legacy-vs-new account status if your account is older, and the coupon source before paying. Apex is running its newer EOD and Intraday Scaling accounts; the pre-March 2026 Evaluation/PA versions are now Legacy. The checked source also showed a time-limited SAVENOW coupon that excludes resets and PA activation fees.
Apex status at a glance
Up to weekly, 100% split
EOD and Intraday Performance Accounts allow up-to-weekly payouts after 5 qualifying trading days, with a $500 minimum, a 50% consistency rule, a Safety Net gate, and a max of 6 payouts per account.
New EOD/Intraday products; older accounts are Legacy
Apex says EOD and Intraday Scaling products launched, and the previous Evaluation/PA versions are Legacy as of March 1, 2026. Legacy accounts keep working under their original rules.
Rithmic, Tradovate, WealthCharts + more
Apex names Rithmic, Tradovate, and WealthCharts as selection paths and warns that picking the wrong plan/platform may not be refundable. Connection guides also cover NinjaTrader, Bookmap, Sierra Chart, and others.
SAVENOW — time-limited, with exclusions
The official coupon page shows “Any Size Evals, up to 90% OFF” with code SAVENOW and a countdown. Codes cannot be applied to resets or PA activation fees, and the deal can end or change without notice.
Helpdesk and status, direct
Apex routes account, billing, and platform problems through its 24/7 helpdesk. For schedule and product notices, use the official status page rather than social posts.
Check first if any of these apply
You are about to buy or upgrade during a coupon window; you hold a Legacy account and want to confirm it still qualifies; you are near a payout request; or you saw a rule/payout/platform claim you cannot source. If none apply, nothing here needs urgent action.
Claim checker
Heard something about Apex? Match it to the closest claim below, then open the official source and compare it to your exact account type.
“Does my Apex payout meet the official request gate?”
Verdict: check your account against the official gate; this does not verify a specific denial claim
Applies to: EOD and Intraday Performance Accounts.
What we verified: the official gates — 5 qualifying trading days, a per-size minimum daily profit, the Safety Net (drawdown limit + $100), $500 minimum request, 50% consistency, and max 6 payouts per PA. Apex also states a request is auto-denied if your balance later drops below the threshold.
What we did not verify: whether any specific trader’s request was delayed, denied, approved, or under review. We do not have account-level data.
What to do next: open EOD payouts or Intraday payouts, confirm your balance is above the Safety Net + $500, and check the 50% consistency rule. Checked Jul 4, 2026.
“Apex changed the rules on my account”
Verdict: partly confirmed — new vs Legacy split is official
Applies to: anyone deciding between current EOD/Intraday products and older Legacy accounts.
What we verified: Apex’s status page says EOD and Intraday Scaling products launched, and pre-March 1, 2026 Evaluation/PA versions are Legacy. Existing Legacy accounts keep renewing, qualifying, and following their original rules.
What we did not verify: whether your specific dashboard, contract, or a targeted account notice carries a different change. Account-specific notices override this summary.
What to do next: read Status updates and Legacy Products Overview, then compare to the Apex rule tracker. Checked Jul 4, 2026.
“There’s an active Apex discount code”
Verdict: confirmed today, but time-limited
Applies to: new evaluation purchases (not resets or PA activation fees).
What we verified: the official coupon page showed “Any Size Evals, up to 90% OFF” with code SAVENOW and a countdown, and states codes cannot be applied to resets or PA activation fees.
What we did not verify: that the code applies to your region, selected plan, account size, or checkout session, or that the current sale will still be live when you read this.
What to do next: open the Apex coupon page and coupon rules, and confirm the discount at checkout before paying. Checked Jul 4, 2026.
“Apex / my platform is down”
Verdict: use the live official source — this page is not a monitor
Applies to: Rithmic, Tradovate, WealthCharts, NinjaTrader, and other supported platform connections.
What we verified: Apex publishes an official status page and platform connection guides. We confirmed those pages exist and what they cover.
What we did not verify: any real-time outage, data or routing problem, individual account issue, or broker-side incident. We do not run a live uptime check.
What to do next: check Status updates first, then the platform issue router below and the connection guide for your platform. Checked Jul 4, 2026.
Claim doesn’t match any of these?
Verdict: treat as unverified until an official source confirms it
Applies to: anything you cannot tie to an official Apex rule, payout, promo, platform, status, or support page.
What we verified: no official Apex source in this page confirms the claim yet, so it should not be treated as a fact row.
What we did not verify: screenshots, videos, or forum posts on their own are not proof.
What to do next: save the source link, account type, date, and the exact claim, then look for an official Apex page that confirms or contradicts it. You can also send it to us using the correction path below.

Apex payout checklist
Before you request an EOD payout, confirm each item against your account. Numbers below are the official EOD Performance Account requirements, checked Jul 4, 2026. Intraday accounts follow the same structure with different per-size thresholds — confirm yours on the intraday payout page.
| EOD account | Min trading days | Min daily profit (qualifying day) | Safety Net | Min balance to request | Max payouts |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 25K | 5 | $100 | $26,100 | $26,600 | 6 |
| 50K | 5 | $250 | $52,100 | $52,600 | 6 |
| 100K | 5 | $300 | $103,100 | $103,600 | 6 |
| 150K | 5 | $350 | $154,100 | $154,600 | 6 |
- Account type & size: confirm whether you hold an EOD, Intraday, or Legacy account, and the size — the thresholds above are EOD-specific.
- Qualifying trading days: at least 5 days that each meet your size’s minimum daily profit (they need not be consecutive; no deadline).
- Safety Net: your drawdown limit + $100; only profit above it is withdrawable, and it stays for the account’s lifetime.
- Minimum balance & payout: balance must clear the “Min balance to request” above, and the minimum request is $500.
- 50% consistency: no single day can be 50%+ of your profit since the last approved payout, or the request option is hidden.
- Payout count / scaling: max 6 payouts per Performance Account; after the 6th the PA closes and you re-qualify.
- Did rules change since you bought? if you hold a Legacy account, confirm it still qualifies via Legacy Products Overview.
- Screenshot before support: capture your dashboard balance, trading-day count, and the payout screen before contacting the helpdesk.
Apex platform issue checker
Find your symptom, capture the evidence, then use the official Apex source. Apex supports several platforms; the fastest fix is usually the right connection guide plus a helpdesk ticket with screenshots.
Can’t log in / connect (Rithmic or Tradovate)
Confirm you’re using the correct platform for your plan, then follow the matching connection guide. Screenshot the error and your account/platform selection before opening a ticket.
No data / charts not loading (WealthCharts, NinjaTrader, etc.)
Check the official status page for a known notice first, then re-check your platform’s data connection per its guide. Note the symbol, time, and platform version.
Orders rejected / routing problems
Confirm the market is open (watch holiday schedules), your account is active, and you’re within rules. Screenshot the order ticket and rejection message before contacting support.
Account sync / balance looks wrong
Compare your platform balance to your Apex dashboard; a mismatch is often a sync delay. Capture both screens with timestamps before raising a ticket.
Heard a claim about Apex?
Send it in and we’ll check it against official sources. Include: the claim or link, the source URL, the topic (payout, rule, promo, platform, support), your account type, and an optional email for follow-up. Individual account disputes need official evidence and should go through Apex support first.
Use the Apex profile contact path to submit a correction, or open an Apex helpdesk ticket for account-specific issues.

What the labels mean
Official source: an Apex page, help-center article, status update, or coupon page we opened directly. Verified: we confirmed the official source contains the summarized fact. Not verified: something this page does not prove, such as a specific payout outcome or live outage. Unverified claim: public discussion that needs an official source before it becomes a fact row.
What we left out on purpose
This page does not include specific trader allegations about payout denials, scam, fraud, ownership, or individual-support outcomes. Those need separate sourcing and review before they can appear as signal rows.
How to use this page
Start with the quick status cards and the claim checker. If your question maps to a payout, rule, promo, or platform card, open the official source and compare it to your exact account type. If it doesn’t map to anything official, treat it as unverified until a source confirms it. For deeper rule tables, use the Apex rule tracker; for firm background and contact, use the BestProps Apex profile.
Source Notes
Freshness: official Apex pages here were checked July 4, 2026 (payout, promo, and status pages re-verified live that day). Apex rules, sale terms, platforms, and payout gates change often. Re-open the official source before acting.
