TL;DR: Bitfunded is a crypto-only prop firm run by Tronovix LTD in the United Arab Emirates. It has sold simulated trading challenges since 2023, all traded on its own web platform and mobile app at 1x to 5x leverage. On October 11, 2026 it sold four account types in sizes from 2,500 to 150,000 USDT: a 2-Step challenge (8% then 5% targets, 5% daily loss, 10% then 8% maximum loss, from $79), a 1-Step (10% target, 4% daily, 6% maximum, from $99), a 1-Step Express (9% target, 3% daily, 3% maximum, from $39 in the user guide) and Instant Funding (no target, 6% maximum loss, 60% split, from $129). It also sells a 1- to 8-hour Day Trader challenge. Funded accounts pay 80% (60% on Instant), with payouts on a Profit Sharing Day you set between 2 and 60 days and processing promised within 24 working hours. The rules that most often cost traders money are the anti-swing holding limits, the 65% margin-concentration cap and the payout-review penalties. Trustpilot showed 4.3 from 207 reviews; Prop Firm Match does not list the firm. Every account is simulated.
Research status: Checked against the Bitfunded home page and its challenge tables, the FAQ, the Terms of Use, the Refund and Cancellation Policy, the About page, the leaderboard and the Bitfunded user guide (help centre) on October 11, 2026. Trustpilot, Prop Firm Match, Forex Peace Army, Reddit, Google Play and the App Store were read the same day. Prices were read from the firm’s public pages and were not verified by purchase. The firm says its user guide wins when it disagrees with the FAQ; where the firm’s own pages conflict, this review says so.
Bitfunded review verdict
Bitfunded is built for one kind of trader: someone who trades crypto perpetual-style contracts and wants a funded account without moving to MetaTrader or a forex-first firm. Entry prices are low (a 10,000 USDT 2-Step challenge was $99 on October 11, 2026), there is no time limit on any challenge, no minimum trading days and no weekend restriction, and the maximum loss is a fixed line that does not trail upward.
The trade-offs sit in the fine print. Leverage is capped at 5x. Positions cannot stay open longer than 10 days on major coins, 7 days on other coins and 5 days on gold, silver and Tesla. Using more than 65% of your margin at once, trading without stop losses or holding a single pair that makes most of the profit can each trigger a payout penalty of 50% or more at review. Those rules live in the user guide rather than on the challenge cards, and several Trustpilot and Prop Firm Match complaints come from traders who say they found them only at payout time.
The firm’s own pages also disagree with each other on several points, including the Instant Funding daily loss limit, when the 2-Step fee is refunded and how often you can withdraw. BestProps does not give Bitfunded a numeric score. If you buy, read the user guide’s Restricted Trading Practices page first, size positions for the 65% margin cap, and keep screenshots of your rules version and trade history.
Is Bitfunded legit? Company, contract and simulated model
Bitfunded is an operating business with published terms, a help centre, a working checkout, mobile apps and a review history going back to 2024. It is not a broker and does not hold traders’ money for trading. Whether it suits you depends on the rules and the payout review covered below. Here is who you deal with, as the firm describes it.
| Point | What the firm publishes | Where it is stated |
|---|---|---|
| Legal entity | Tronovix LTD, described as “a legally recognised limited Liability proprietary trading firm in the United Arab Emirates (UAE)”. The same name appears as the developer of the Bitfunded apps. | Terms of Use section 1; Google Play and App Store listings |
| Founded | “Bitfunded began its journey in crypto prop trading in 2023”, by a team with “over 9 years of experience in the cryptocurrency sector”. | About page |
| Headquarters and team | Headquarters in the United Arab Emirates; a team of “over 30 people”. Trustpilot’s company details list a contact address in Spain. | About page; Trustpilot profile |
| Exchange relationship | Founded “in partnership with CoinW”, a crypto exchange. The FAQ says prices come from “live market data from partner exchanges”. | About page; FAQ |
| Regulation | The About page says the UAE base gives it “solid regulation backing us”, but no regulator, licence or licence number is named anywhere BestProps checked. | About page |
| Disputes | Negotiation, then mediation, then arbitration at the RAK Arbitration Centre in Ras Al Khaimah, UAE, with one arbitrator. | Terms of Use section 24 |
All trading is simulated. The FAQ says: “Everything happens in a simulated environment on live market data from partner exchanges. You never deposit trading capital and you can’t lose more than the entry fee you paid. The profit share we pay out is real USDT.” The terms add that the services “should not be regarded as investment services”. A payout is a reward calculated from simulated profit, paid in USDT.
Points worth knowing before you pay, from the terms and refund policy:
- Fees are not refundable if you fail, breach the rules, cancel or close your portal, apart from the 2-Step fee refund described in the payouts section.
- Payment processors can flag a buyer as “high risk”. If you do not send the documents requested within 24 hours, access can be revoked.
- The firm can change the terms at any time, and continued use counts as acceptance. It can also end your access “at its sole discretion, without … advance notice”.
- You must be 18 or over and responsible for following the law where you live.
- Once your total profit reaches $10,000, you must complete KYC (legal name, address, ID number and a copy of the document) before further withdrawals.
Is Bitfunded real or fake? It is a real, operating business, and Trustpilot shows many traders reporting paid withdrawals. It also has a cluster of serious complaints about payout reviews, and its regulation claim is not backed by a named licence. Treat it as a simulated challenge provider with discretionary payout reviews, not as a regulated broker. The reputation section has the detail.
How Bitfunded works, step by step
- Register on the Bitfunded site (an invitation code field is optional) and log in to the trader portal.
- Buy a challenge: choose 2-Step, 1-Step, 1-Step Express or Instant Funding and an account size, then pay by card or USDT.
- Trade the evaluation on Bitfunded’s platform. Hit the profit target with closed trades, stay inside the daily and maximum loss limits, and close every position to move on. Stage 2 of the 2-Step is created for you automatically.
- Trader Stage: once you pass (or straight away on Instant Funding) you trade a simulated funded account with the same loss limits and no expiry.
- Profit Sharing Day: on the date you choose (2 to 60 days after your first trade) open trades are closed and you can withdraw your 80% share (60% on Instant) or roll it over.
- Payout review: support approves the request, then a risk team checks your trading against the restricted practices before USDT is sent to your wallet.
You can buy as many challenges as you like, but in the Trader Stage you can only hold one account of each size. A second passed account of the same size waits under “To Be Active” and moves up within 24 hours if the active one is disqualified.
Bitfunded challenge types compared
The table combines the challenge tables on the home page, the FAQ and the user guide’s “Challenge & Trader Stage” page, all read October 11, 2026. Bitfunded calls the funded stage the “Trader Stage”.
| Rule | 2-Step | 1-Step | 1-Step Express | Instant Funding |

| Evaluation stages | 2 | 1 | 1 | None |
| Profit target | 8%, then 5% | 10% | 9% | None |
| Maximum daily loss | 5% (all stages) | 4% | 3% | 3% (home page and user guide); the FAQ says 4% |

| Leverage | Up to 1:5 | Up to 1:5 | Up to 1:5 | Up to 1:5 |
| Time limit / minimum days | None / none | None / none | None / none | None / none |
| Margin concentration cap | 65% | 65% | 65% | 55% |
| Minimum closed trades per payout period | 2 | 2 | 2 | 3 |
| Sizes | 5,000 to 150,000 USDT | 5,000 to 150,000 USDT | 5,000 to 150,000 USDT | 2,500, 5,000 and 10,000 USDT |
How they differ in practice:
- 2-Step has the most room: 10% of drawdown against an 8% first target, then 8% against 5%. It is the only type with a fee refund. Most traders who want the lowest risk of a fast breach will look here first.
- 1-Step is quicker but tighter: a 10% target with only 6% of room below the start, so you need a profit cushion early.
- 1-Step Express is the cheapest per dollar, but the daily and overall limits are both 3%. On day one, a single 3% losing day ends the account however it happens. The Express is in the FAQ and the user guide but did not have its own tab on the home page price cards on October 11, 2026, so confirm it at checkout.
- Instant Funding skips the evaluation but pays 60%, allows one payout a month, needs 5% profit from the second payout and has stricter concentration rules. See Instant Funding rules.
All four share the same seven size names: Base (5,000), Starter (10,000), Skilled (15,000), Intermediate (25,000), Advanced (50,000), Expert (100,000) and Apex (150,000 USDT). Instant Funding uses Kickstart (2,500), Base (5,000) and Starter (10,000).
Bitfunded pricing by account size
Prices below are the one-time challenge fees. The 2-Step, 1-Step and Instant prices come from the home page cards read on October 11, 2026. The 2-Step Apex and all Express prices come from the user guide’s “Challenge Type” page, because the home page did not show them. BestProps did not complete a purchase.
| Size (USDT) | 2-Step | 1-Step | 1-Step Express (user guide) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Base 5,000 | $79 | $99 | $39 |
| Starter 10,000 | $99 | $149 | $49 |
| Skilled 15,000 | $149 | $199 | $74 |
| Intermediate 25,000 | $249 | $299 | $124 |
| Advanced 50,000 | $399 | $499 | $199 |
| Expert 100,000 | $799 | $999 | $399 |
| Apex 150,000 | $1,099 (user guide; not on home cards) | $1,399 | $549 |
| Instant Funding size | Home page price | User guide price |
|---|---|---|
| Kickstart 2,500 USDT | $129 | $149 |
| Base 5,000 USDT | $249 | $299 |
| Starter 10,000 USDT | $449 | Not listed |
The home page is the newer source for Instant Funding (it lists a size the user guide does not have), so expect the lower prices, but the checkout total decides.
Cost per 10,000 USDT of simulated capital. Dividing each fee by the account size shows where the value sits:
| Type | Cheapest per 10,000 USDT | Most expensive per 10,000 USDT |
|---|---|---|
| 2-Step | $73.27 (Apex at $1,099) | $158.00 (Base at $79) |
| 1-Step | $93.27 (Apex at $1,399) | $198.00 (Base at $99) |
| 1-Step Express | $36.60 (Apex at $549) | $78.00 (Base at $39) |
| Instant Funding | $449.00 (Starter at $449) | $516.00 (Kickstart at $129) |
The Express is cheapest because its 3% limits make it the hardest to keep alive. Instant Funding costs roughly five to six times as much per dollar as a 2-Step because you skip the evaluation.
What is and is not charged:
- No monthly fee and no separate activation fee was found on the site, FAQ, terms or user guide.
- No paid reset. A breached account is disqualified and the FAQ says “to keep trading, you buy a new challenge”.
- Trading fees of 0.04% per side are charged inside the account and count against your results (see trading fees).
- Withdrawal network fees of 1 to 5 USDT come off each payout.
- Discounts: no sale banner or discount code was shown on the home page on October 11, 2026. Coupon sites list Bitfunded codes that BestProps could not confirm with the firm, so none are reprinted here.
Daily loss, maximum loss and profit target rules
Maximum daily loss. The user guide’s formula is “Total Realized Loss of the Day + Total Floating Loss of Open Positions”. The limit is a fixed percentage of the starting balance, not of the current balance, so on a 100,000 USDT account with a 5% limit you can lose 5,000 USDT in a day “even if the account is up overall”. If you take a 2,500 USDT profit early in the day, you can lose up to 7,500 USDT from that point before breaching, because the day’s net result is what counts. The FAQ calls floating losses “the one that catches people out”: the account is disqualified the moment equity touches the limit, even if the trade is still open.
Daily reset. The day resets at 00:00 UTC+8, which the user guide says can take effect any time up to 00:10. That is 16:00 UTC, or noon in New York while US daylight saving time runs (11:00 after it ends on November 1, 2026). Profit made earlier in a day does not carry into the next day, so a large floating loss held across the reset can breach the new day’s limit by itself.
Maximum loss. Realised plus floating loss, measured from the starting balance for the life of the account. On a 100,000 USDT account with a 10% limit you fail only if equity touches 90,000 USDT. It does not move up as you profit.
Profit target. Only closed, realised profit counts. All positions must be closed to move to the next stage, and profits cannot be rolled over during the challenge.
Breach. A maximum loss breach disqualifies the account immediately. A daily loss breach closes open positions and disqualifies it. A disqualified account loses all withdrawal rights, including any fee refund not yet paid.
What there is not: no minimum trading days, no inactivity rule, no time limit, no news-trading ban and no weekend restriction (the market runs 24/7). There is no stated consistency rule on the 2-Step or 1-Step; the concentration and holding rules below do a similar job.
For background on fixed versus trailing limits, see static vs trailing drawdown.
Worked examples on a 10,000 USDT account
These apply the published percentages to a 10,000 USDT starting balance. They show the arithmetic only; the platform’s own figures decide a breach.
| Account | Profit target | Daily loss limit | Equity floor (maximum loss) | Room below start vs target |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 2-Step Starter, Stage 1 ($99) | 800 USDT (8%) | 500 USDT | 9,000 USDT | 1,000 vs 800 |
| 2-Step Starter, Stage 2 | 500 USDT (5%) | 500 USDT | 9,200 USDT | 800 vs 500 |
| 2-Step funded | None | 500 USDT | 9,200 USDT | 800 |
| 1-Step Starter ($149) | 1,000 USDT (10%) | 400 USDT | 9,400 USDT | 600 vs 1,000 |
| 1-Step Express Starter ($49) | 900 USDT (9%) | 300 USDT | 9,700 USDT | 300 vs 900 |
| Instant Starter ($449) | None | 300 USDT (400 if the FAQ’s 4% applies) | 9,400 USDT | 600 |
The 1-Step and Express rows show the real constraint. The target is bigger than the room you have below the start, and the floor never rises. On the Express, one 300 USDT losing day at the start ends the account. Once you are up, say at 10,500 USDT, the Express floor is still 9,700 USDT, so the daily limit (300 USDT from that day’s net result) binds first.
Position-size example: with 5x leverage, 2,000 USDT of margin opens a 10,000 USDT position. A 3% move against that position is a 300 USDT loss, which would breach the Express daily limit and use three-quarters of the 1-Step daily limit. The BestProps drawdown calculator and daily loss limit calculator can model your own sizes.
Restricted trading practices and payout penalties
These rules apply to the 2-Step, 1-Step and Instant Funding accounts and are checked before a payout or before a funded account is granted. They are on the user guide’s Restricted Trading Practices page, which the FAQ links to. Read them before you buy; several complaints come from traders who say they learned them at payout time.
| Rule | What it says |
|---|---|
| Maximum holding time (anti-swing) | 10 days for major coins (BTC, ETH, BNB, XRP, SOL, TRX, HYPE, ZEC, DOGE, ADA); 7 days for all other coins; 5 days for traditional pairs (XAU, XAG, TSLA). Counted in exact hours. Positions must be fully closed by the end of the period. |
| Margin concentration (“All In”) | Combined exposure must stay below 65% of available margin (55% on Instant Funding). The guide’s example: on a 10,000 USDT account, four positions of 2,000 USDT each opened together is 80%, which counts as excessive. |
| Open positions | At most 5 at a time, across all instruments and directions. |
| Minimum activity | At least 2 closed trades in each payout period (3 on Instant Funding), each open at least 10 minutes. |
| Risk management | Repeated trading without a stop loss and/or take profit, uncontrolled exposure or excessive account swings “may be classified as excessive risk-taking behavior during payout review”. |
| Hedging and manipulation | No opposite positions on the same asset across accounts, no coordinated trading, no exploiting pricing or execution gaps. |
| Automation and copying | No bots, Expert Advisors, scripts or API trading; every trade must be placed manually. No copy or mirrored trading between accounts. |
| Account integrity | One user profile per person. No sharing of accounts, devices or crypto wallets. VPNs are allowed but discouraged because they can make accounts look linked. |
Concentration penalties on the 2-Step and 1-Step are 50% of withdrawable profit at 65% to 74% exposure, 60% at 75% to 89%, 65% at 90% to 95% and 70% at 96% to 100%. On Instant Funding the scale starts lower: 50% at 55% to 64%, then 55%, 60%, 65% and 70%. Separately, the guide says that if any restricted practice is found during payout review, “a 50% penalty will be applied to the profit withdrawable from the Trader’s entitled 80%”, and repeat cases can lead to further restrictions.
Worked example: a 2-Step funded trader with 1,000 USDT of profit is due 800 USDT. If the review finds one period where combined exposure reached 70% of margin, the 50% penalty cuts that to 400 USDT. At 80% exposure the 60% penalty leaves 320 USDT.
How to stay clear: keep total margin in use under about 60% so normal price moves cannot push you over 65%, put a stop loss on every trade, set a calendar reminder before each holding deadline, and make sure each payout period has at least two (or three) trades held for 10 minutes or more. The BestProps payout readiness checklist can help you track this.
Trading fees and how they eat into a target
Bitfunded charges 0.04% of position size to open and 0.04% to close, itemised in the portal’s Transaction History. That is in line with crypto exchange taker fees, but it matters more on a challenge because fees reduce the realised profit that counts toward the target.
- A full 5x position on a 10,000 USDT account is 50,000 USDT. Opening and closing it costs 40 USDT, which is 5% of the 2-Step’s 800 USDT Stage 1 target.
- Twenty round trips at 25,000 USDT each cost 400 USDT, half of that target.
- Fees also count toward the daily and maximum loss, because they are part of realised loss.
One Trustpilot reviewer in October 2026 also reported gaps between displayed and realised profit and loss on market orders. If you scalp, test with small sizes first and compare fills with the chart.
Payouts, profit split and the fee refund
| Payout term | What the firm publishes (FAQ and user guide) |
|---|---|
| Split | 80% on 2-Step, 1-Step and 1-Step Express funded accounts; 60% on Instant Funding. |
| When you can withdraw | On your Profit Sharing Day: 30 days after your first trade by default, adjustable from 2 to 60 days. You can move it up to three times in any 30-day period. |
| On the day | All open trades are closed and settled automatically. If the account is in a loss on that date, the date moves 7 days later. After a withdrawal the next date is set 30 days later by default. |
| How many | Up to 2 payouts per 30 days on the same challenge and up to 5 per 30 days across different challenges. After 10 payouts in total, one a month. |
| Processing | “Within 24 hours on working days” (Monday to Friday). An “Approved” request then goes to a final review by the risk team before it is sent. |
| Method and fees | USDT only: TRC-20 (2 USDT fee), ERC-20 (5 USDT) or BEP-20 (1 USDT). Fees can change with network congestion. |
| KYC | Required once cumulative profit reaches $10,000. |
| Fee refund | 2-Step only (not promotional purchases): the fee is added to your third successful payout, if you complete three payout cycles without a violation. |
| Disqualification | Forfeits all withdrawal rights, including any refund not yet paid. |
The rollover trap. On the Profit Sharing Day you can withdraw or roll profit into the next cycle. A trader on Reddit’s r/propfirm posted support’s explanation in 2026: once you roll over, “each period is evaluated on its own”, so a loss in the new period can block a withdrawal even when the account is still well above its starting balance overall. If you want the money, withdraw it rather than rolling it over.
First payout walkthrough (2-Step Starter, 10,000 USDT, bought for $99):
- Reach 800 USDT of closed profit in Stage 1 and 500 USDT in Stage 2 without touching the loss limits.
- In the Trader Stage, set your Profit Sharing Day (for example 14 days after your first funded trade).
- Trade within the restricted practices: at least 2 closed trades of 10 minutes or more, under 65% margin, stop losses on.
- Suppose the account is up 1,000 USDT on the day. Open trades are closed automatically. Click “Withdraw All Profits”, then enter your network and wallet in the Payouts tab.
- Your 80% share is 800 USDT, minus a 2 USDT TRC-20 fee, so 798 USDT arrives if the review passes. On your third payout the $99 fee is added on top.
Payout proof: the firm’s leaderboard lists traders with “Payout Earned” amounts, such as 22,365 and 21,430 USDT, and the home page shows a 38,192 USDT payout. These figures are firm-published and BestProps could not check them. For the wallet side, see crypto wallets and banks for prop firm payouts.
Instant Funding rules
Instant Funding gives you a funded account straight away, with no profit target. The trade-offs, from the FAQ and the user guide:
- 60% profit split instead of 80%, and the fee is not refundable.
- One payout a month. The first can be requested whenever you like with no minimum profit; from the second payout onward you need 5% profit on the account, and an early request is held until you reach it.
- Profit concentration: if a single pair makes 60% or more of your net profit in a payout period, a 50% penalty applies to the withdrawable profit.
- Margin concentration cap of 55% rather than 65%, and 3 closed trades per payout period rather than 2.
- 6% maximum loss and a 3% daily loss (the FAQ says 4%).
Worked example: a 5,000 USDT Base account bought for $249 is up 300 USDT (6%) after two weeks. The first payout is 60% of 300, or 180 USDT, minus the network fee. If a single pair such as BTC made 60% or more of that profit, the 50% penalty leaves 90 USDT. The next payout needs at least 250 USDT (5%) of new profit. Compare other firms in the BestProps guide to instant funding crypto prop firms.
Bitfunded Day Trader challenge
The Day Trader challenge is a short, timed product, separate from the funded accounts:
- A 10,000 USDT demo account with a timer of 1, 2, 4 or 8 hours that starts as soon as the challenge begins.
- You pick an entry fee from $50 to $400 and a “Payout Boost” from 2x to 5x of that fee.
- The drawdown and profit target change with the time limit and boost you choose. The home page calculator shows them before you pay; it showed 0.00% until a choice was made, so BestProps could not record fixed figures.
- The target must be hit with closed trades. The user guide says the Day Trader profit split is 80/20.
- The challenge starts immediately after purchase and you can trade only one at a time.
Because a higher boost raises the target, this works more like a fixed-odds bet on a few hours of trading than a path to a funded account. Read the targets shown before you pay.
Bitfunded trading platform and app
Platform. Bitfunded uses one platform, which the FAQ describes as one “we built and run ourselves”. It works like a crypto exchange’s futures screen: isolated or cross margin, leverage from 1x to 5x set per trade, market and limit orders, and take profit and stop loss. There is no MetaTrader, cTrader, TradingView broker link or API trading. The FAQ says chart drawings and indicators are not saved between sessions yet, so you have to set them up again after a refresh.
Markets. The FAQ says 100+ crypto pairs and 20 traditional pairs, all simulated; the restricted practices page names gold (XAU), silver (XAG) and Tesla (TSLA) as traditional pairs. Trading runs 24/7, including weekends.
Dashboard. Shows balance, equity, realised and unrealised profit and progress to target with a “Last Update” timestamp. Trader Hub adds win rate, profit/loss ratio, average position value, daily and cumulative profit and loss, and position history. For live figures mid-trade, the FAQ says to use the margin and unrealised profit and loss in the platform itself.
Bitfunded app. The FAQ says there are apps on the App Store and Google Play. Their store ratings were weak on October 11, 2026:
| Store | Rating | Last updated | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Google Play | 2.4 from 55 reviews | August 21, 2026 | 5,000+ downloads; developer “tronovix ltd”. A top review says trading stopped working in the app after an update while the web version worked. |
| App Store (US) | 1.7 from 13 ratings | August 14, 2026 | Developer “tronovix ltd”. |
The user guide also shows how to add the site to an iPhone home screen as a web app. If the store app misbehaves, the browser version does the same job. Platform lag is a common complaint on Trustpilot and Prop Firm Match.
Bitfunded restricted countries and US traders
Bitfunded does not publish a list of restricted countries in its terms, FAQ or user guide (checked October 11, 2026). What the documents do say:
- You must be 18 or over and confirm that using the service complies with the law where you live (Terms section 4). The responsibility is placed on you.
- Payment processors can flag a buyer as “high risk” and ask for documents within 24 hours, and access can be revoked if you do not provide them.
- KYC with a government ID becomes mandatory at $10,000 of cumulative profit, so a payout can be delayed or refused at that point if your documents or residence raise a problem.
- Card payments run through Hotmart (USD) and N-Genius (INR), and crypto payments in USDT, so availability also depends on what those providers accept where you live.
Bitfunded and the USA. BestProps found no clause excluding US residents. The app is listed on the US App Store, and severa
