We pulled DataForSEO US clickstream search-demand figures for 17 purchasable prop firms (read October 3, 2026) and ranked them on a QUALIFIED branded query (“{firm} prop firm” or the closest clean variant), never the bare brand name alone, because a bare-brand search figure is inflated 60x to roughly 1,000x by unrelated search intent (Topstep’s bare-brand figure reads 277,933/mo while the qualified “topstep review” query reads about 299/mo, a 930x gap). Lucid Trading (1,900/mo), Tradeify (1,600/mo) and Blue Guardian (1,000/mo) top the qualified ranking; FTMO, this dataset’s most-trusted, most-reviewed name, has the LOWEST qualified search figure of any eligible firm (86/mo), proof that popular, trusted, and well-reviewed are three different questions. These figures are DataForSEO clickstream estimates for October 2026, not exact counts, and they measure search behavior, never an endorsement.

Freshness: checked October 3, 2026. Firms change pricing and rules without notice; re-check before you buy. Each firm’s Trustpilot figure carries its own cited date.

The five most popular prop firms, by search demand
- 1. Lucid Trading: 1,900 qualified searches a month (futures).
- 2. Tradeify: 1,600 qualified searches a month (futures).
- 3. Blue Guardian: 1,000 qualified searches a month (forex/CFD).
- 4. Alpha Futures: 590 qualified searches a month (futures).
- 5. FXIFY: 480 qualified searches a month (forex/CFD).
This answers “what are the top 10 trading firms” by one specific, sourced measure: how many people search the firm’s name plus “prop firm” or “review” every month, read from DataForSEO US clickstream data on October 3, 2026. It is not a ranking by size, star rating, or Reddit sentiment; those are separate BestProps pages, linked once each below.
How we measured popularity in prop firms

- Source: DataForSEO clickstream search-volume data, United States, pulled October 3, 2026. These are estimates from a third-party panel, not an exact count of searches, and they can shift month to month.
- Qualified query: for every firm we used “{firm} prop firm” or the closest clean variant (“{firm} review” where that reads more naturally), never the bare brand name alone.
- The contamination problem: a bare brand name picks up every unrelated use of that word or phrase, a different company, a consumer product, generic English words, so the raw number badly overstates real interest in the firm. We show both numbers side by side and the ratio between them.
- Second signal: an official YouTube subscriber count or other firm-published audience figure, cited with its own date, where one exists.
- Limits: a firm with no official channel or social following shows “Not published” rather than a guessed number; several firms did not have their own bare-brand figure on file, and those cells restate the original clickstream estimate for this topic instead (marked with an asterisk below).

Two worked examples of the contamination problem
Topstep: the bare brand name “topstep” reads 277,933 searches a month in US clickstream data, the single highest raw number in this entire dataset. But the qualified query “topstep review” reads only about 299 a month, roughly 930 times smaller. The word “topstep” is common enough outside trading (a common English compound, used in other contexts) that the bare-brand number is overwhelmingly non-trading search noise, not real interest in the firm.
Lucid Trading: the bare brand name reads 201,000 searches a month, the second-highest raw figure here, but a large share of that is Lucid Motors (the electric-car company) and the unrelated phrase “lucid dreaming.” Once qualified to “lucid trading prop firm,” the figure drops to 1,900 a month, a 106x gap, yet that qualified figure is still the single highest reading in this whole post: Lucid Trading is a case where real demand survives the correction, unlike Topstep’s mostly-noise headline.
The same pattern, at varying scale, affects Apex Trader Funding (399x, the generic word “apex”), Alpha Futures (153x, the generic words “alpha” and “futures”), Tradeify (60x), FTMO (383x), and FundedNext (186x). We never publish, quote, or rank a firm on its bare-brand figure anywhere in this post.

Notes on this ranking: * bare-brand volume/ratio for Blue Guardian, FXIFY, Alpha Capital Group, Earn2Trade, and MyFundedFutures was not available at firm level for this check, so the cell restates the original DataForSEO clickstream estimate for this topic instead. † Topstep’s qualified figure is this post’s own reconciliation within the 86–512/mo range supplied for the firm (a single point pull elsewhere in this project reads 261/mo for the same query; both are DataForSEO clickstream estimates and the real figure moves within that range month to month). ‡ shown with a monthly-until-pass price (Alpha Futures, Take Profit Trader, Earn2Trade), not a one-time fee; compare carefully against the one-time prices in the same column. § FTMO’s price is quoted in euros on the firm’s own checkout; the USD figure uses the October 2, 2026 ECB reference rate (EUR/USD 1.1225).
Firm by firm, ranked by search demand
Every block below states the firm’s own search-demand figures first, then what a buyer actually gets today. A live call-up, where one exists, is named as the first watch-out: it is a warning about what happens later, never a reason this post ranks a firm higher or lower.
Lucid Trading clears the real search-demand bar even after the Lucid Motors noise is stripped out
Lucid Trading has the second-highest bare-brand number in this whole dataset (201,000/mo), and unlike most of the firms here, its clean qualified figure survives the correction: 1,900 people a month still search “lucid trading prop firm” specifically, the highest qualified figure of any firm we checked.
What a buyer gets: LucidFlex Evaluation $50,000, Daily Loss Limit on: $146 list, one-time fee, EOD trailing drawdown that locks at $2,000 once the balance clears $52,100.
Payout path: First payout needs 5 separate trading days of $150 or more profit each, no consistency rule, split 90% trader / 10% Lucid Trading.
Live stage (a warning, not a grade): “All live transitions occur at the discretion of the Lucid risk team.” Live accounts start at a $0 balance, and every simulated account closes the moment a trader is moved live; no decline option is published anywhere in the help center.
- Audience signal: 193,505 Discord members (Oct 3, 2026)
- Trustpilot: 4.3/5 on 6,052 reviews, cited from our Trustpilot ledger.
- Choose it when: You want a futures firm whose name genuinely gets searched by traders, not just by people looking up an unrelated car brand or a phrase about dreaming, and you accept a 90/10 split with no daily loss limit to worry about.
- Watch out for: The live call-up cannot be declined, resets the account to a $0 starting balance, and closes every simulated account the moment it happens; a dated Trustpilot cluster also describes first-flag coordinated-trading bans.

Tradeify’s 1,600 monthly qualified searches hold up after the 60x bare-brand correction
Tradeify’s bare-brand number (96,677/mo) is 60 times its qualified figure, the smallest contamination ratio of the five futures firms with the biggest raw numbers in this dataset, and its qualified 1,600/mo is still the second-highest reading here.
What a buyer gets: Select Flex $50,000: $165 list ($116 with code GEMS, ends October 15, 2026), one-time fee, EOD trailing drawdown at $2,000.
Payout path: First payout needs 5 winning days of at least $150 profit each, no minimum balance; split 90% trader / 10% Tradeify on the sim-funded stage, 80/20 after an Elite Live move.
Live stage (a warning, not a grade): Tradeify can move a trader from a Simulated Funded Account to a Tradeify Elite Live account “at its sole and absolute discretion,” and once selected the move is mandatory; every Sim Funded and evaluation account closes, and the Elite Live account starts at a $0 balance with no sim profit carried over.
- Audience signal: Not published
- Trustpilot: 4.4/5 on 4,918 reviews, cited from our Trustpilot ledger.
- Choose it when: You want one of the two highest qualified-demand futures firms in this dataset, at a one-time $165 list price with no activation fee.
- Watch out for: The Elite Live call-up cannot be declined and wipes sim-account continuity; separately, a September 2026 Reddit and Trustpilot cluster describes KYC and compliance-driven account closures at payout time.

Blue Guardian is searched more than almost any firm here, with its Trustpilot rating currently hidden
Blue Guardian posts the highest qualified search figure of any shared candidate outside Lucid Trading (1,000/mo on “blue guardian prop firm”), a genuine popularity signal that sits uncomfortably beside a Trustpilot profile currently showing a hidden-rating banner rather than a visible score.
What a buyer gets: 2 Step Nano $50,000: $127 list ($95.25 with code BG25, no stated end date), one-time fee, static 10% drawdown ($5,000).
Payout path: First payout has no minimum trading days, runs on a 14-day cycle with a 50% consistency rule and a $1,000 cap per cycle on $50K; split 80% (90% available as an add-on).
Live stage (a warning, not a grade): Not applicable: “All accounts provided by Blue Guardian, including funded accounts, are demo accounts.” The discretionary call-up that applies to many futures firms in this post exists only on the separate Blue Guardian Futures listing, never this CFD one.
- Audience signal: ~5,000 YouTube subscribers (firm’s own figure, Oct 3, 2026)
- Trustpilot: Hidden rating, 2,094 reviews, cited from our Trustpilot ledger.
- Choose it when: You want the firm with the clearest, highest qualified search-demand reading of any shared candidate in this post besides Lucid Trading, and you are comfortable judging it without a visible Trustpilot score for now.
- Watch out for: Trustpilot’s rating is currently hidden, and a 3% daily-loss limit still ends the account outright on breach.

Alpha Futures’ honest search number is a fraction of its bare-brand headline
Alpha Futures shares a bare-brand figure (90,500/mo) identical to Apex Trader Funding and Take Profit Trader, a coincidence that is really three different generic-word collisions; once qualified to “alpha futures prop firm,” its real monthly search figure is 590, the fourth-highest in this dataset.
What a buyer gets: Standard $50,000: $129/month, monthly until pass, EOD trailing drawdown at $2,000; Daily Loss Guard of $1,000 applies only once Qualified.
Payout path: First payout needs 5 winning days of $200 or more (non-consecutive), 40% consistency; split 90% on every current plan.
Live stage (a warning, not a grade): A trader can be called to live “if they have met one or more” of several conditions; traders who decline “will sacrifice all relations with any branch of the Alpha Group” and forfeit the Qualified Account’s simulated profit, though the payable balance up to that point is not clawed back.
- Audience signal: Not published
- Trustpilot: 4.4/5 on 6,048 reviews, cited from our Trustpilot ledger.
- Choose it when: You recognize that 590/mo is the honest read on Alpha Futures’ popularity, not the 90,500/mo bare-brand number, which is mostly noise from two common English words.
- Watch out for: Alpha Futures still has a firm-acknowledged, unresolved Premium payout backlog dating to its July 2026 program shutdown, with no clearance confirmed as of this check.
FXIFY’s qualified demand is a mid-pack forex figure with no bare-brand number supplied
FXIFY is one of the firms in this dataset whose figures supplied only the qualified number (480/mo) with no bare-brand comparison point, so this line restates the original clickstream estimate (6,388/mo, a 13x ratio) rather than inventing a precise one.
What a buyer gets: Two Phase Classic (Static) $50,000: $379 list ($284.25 with code REWARD25, ends October 31, 2026), one-time fee, static 10% drawdown ($5,000).
Payout path: First payout needs 4-5 trading days depending on which FXIFY page you read; split 80% on the 14-day cycle, up to 100% on the 30-day cycle, or 90% with a paid add-on.
Live stage (a warning, not a grade): No discretionary live call-up mechanism exists on this product: “Once you pass the Assessment, we provide you with a live account.” A separate clause lets FXIFY reject a passer “for any or no reason” at the funding decision point, before any payable balance exists.
- Audience signal: 9,610 YouTube subscribers (Sept 30, 2026)
- Trustpilot: 4.3/5 on 6,345 reviews, cited from our Trustpilot ledger.
- Choose it when: You want a forex firm with solid mid-pack qualified demand (480/mo) and are comfortable that no bare-brand comparison figure was available for this specific check.
- Watch out for: 11 or more dated 2026 reviews describe post-pass account terminations for “latency arbitrage,” a rule FXIFY will not disclose its detection methods for.
More: FXIFY profile, rules.
The5ers has the cleanest search number in this dataset, with almost no bare-brand noise to strip out
The5ers’ bare-to-qualified gap is only 9x, by far the smallest ratio in this post, which means its 390/mo qualified figure is close to the raw brand volume with very little of the generic-word contamination that distorts Topstep or Alpha Futures.
What a buyer gets: High Stakes $50,000 (the newest account size): $249 list, one-time fee; the firm’s own pages disagree on the drawdown figure, see the mark below.
Payout path: First payout needs 3 profitable days per step, each at least 0.5% of the initial balance; split starts at 80% and rises via the firm’s scaling table.
Live stage (a warning, not a grade): The5ers’ Terms state it “may offer You to become a Professional User and trade with Our trading capital,” with no explicit refusal or decline clause published either way.
- Audience signal: Not published
- Trustpilot: 4.7/5 on 38,828 reviews, cited from our Trustpilot ledger.
- Choose it when: You want the firm whose popularity figure is least distorted by unrelated search noise, with an active 2-Step evaluation at $249.
- Watch out for: High Stakes’ own selector (8% drawdown, $4,000) and FAQ (10%, $5,000, last updated September 15, 2026) disagree on the max-loss floor value itself, unresolved as of this check.
More: The5ers profile.
Bulenox earns a decent search figure for its size, at the cheapest entry price in this ranking
Bulenox is a smaller firm by Trustpilot volume (1,801 reviews) but posts a respectable qualified search figure (320/mo) relative to that size, the clearest “small review base, real search interest” case in this dataset.
What a buyer gets: Momentum Qualification $50,000: $143 one-time (code BULENOX always-on), zero activation fee, EOD trailing drawdown at $2,250 on the Option 2 path.
Payout path: First payout needs 5 new profitable days of $150 net or more, 35% best-day consistency; split 100% of the first $10,000 earned, then 90/10.
Live stage (a warning, not a grade): After three successful Master Account payouts, a trader “may be considered” for a Funded Account at Bulenox’s discretion; declining closes the Master Account and its sim balance does not transfer anywhere.
- Audience signal: Not published
- Trustpilot: 4.7/5 on 1,801 reviews, cited from our Trustpilot ledger.
- Choose it when: You want the cheapest all-in evaluation entry in this ranking (a $143, zero-activation-fee product) with a genuine, if modest, qualified search figure behind the brand.
- Watch out for: Bulenox’s own FAQ says there is no maximum number of trading days, but the same account expires automatically 30 calendar days after purchase with no extension on a reset.
Topstep has the loudest bare-brand number in this dataset, and the biggest gap once it is qualified
Topstep’s bare-brand search volume (277,933/mo) is the single highest raw number in this entire post, and also the worst-contaminated: the qualified query “topstep review” reads roughly 930 times smaller, this post’s lead worked example for why a bare-brand figure can never be published as popularity.
What a buyer gets: Trading Combine $50,000, No Activation Fee path: $95 list ($85 with an optional, free $1,000 Daily Loss Limit add-on), monthly until pass, EOD trailing drawdown at $2,000.
Payout path: First payout needs 5 winning days of $150 or more net (non-consecutive), capped at $2,000-$4,000 per request; split 90/10.
Live stage (a warning, not a grade): “Can I decline the invitation to move to Live and stay in my XFA? No.” What transfers is capped at the account size, with any excess forfeited; the firm discloses that 0.71% of 2025 participants were called up to Live.
- Audience signal: 229,342 YouTube subscribers (third-party estimate, Oct 3, 2026)
- Trustpilot: 3.6/5 on 14,892 reviews, cited from our Trustpilot ledger.
- Choose it when: You want the single highest-profile futures brand by raw search volume, and you understand the real, qualified figure (299/mo) is nowhere near the bare-brand headline.
- Watch out for: The Live Funded Account call-up cannot be declined and forfeits any XFA balance above the account size; separately, the Standard pricing path defers a $149 activation fee to the moment of passing.
More: Topstep profile, rules.
MyFundedFutures has the best Trustpilot score in this post and only mid-pack search demand
MyFundedFutures posts the highest Trustpilot score of any firm in this entire dataset (4.9 out of 22,110 reviews), yet its qualified search figure (260/mo for “my funded futures prop firm”) sits in the middle of the pack, a direct “rated high, not the most searched” contrast this post’s methodology is built to surface.
What a buyer gets: Rapid $50,000 (homepage-labelled “POPULAR”): $209 list ($125 with code CLUB, no end date shown), one-time fee, intraday trailing drawdown including unrealized P&L at $2,000 on the sim-funded stage.
Payout path: First payout needs the account to clear a $2,100 buffer, available 24 hours after the first sim-funded trade; split 90/10.
Live stage (a warning, not a grade): “Rejecting the move to a Live Funded Account is not possible once you are selected.” The trigger is automatic at a $10,000 single-day profit, with the firm disclosing that 4.2% of participants were promoted to Live.
- Audience signal: Not published
- Trustpilot: 4.9/5 on 22,110 reviews (highest of any firm checked), cited from our Trustpilot ledger.
- Choose it when: You want the best-reviewed firm in this entire post (4.9/22,110 on Trustpilot) and are comfortable that its search-demand figure, while real, is not the loudest name in the category.
- Watch out for: The sim-funded stage’s drawdown trails intraday including unrealized P&L, and the live move is automatic and cannot be declined once a trader crosses the $10,000-in-a-day trigger.
More: MyFundedFutures profile, rules.
Take Profit Trader’s name is also a generic trading phrase, part of why its qualified figure is so much smaller
“Take Profit Trader” describes an ordinary trading action as well as a brand, a second kind of name collision beyond the generic single words (Topstep, Apex, Alpha) this post otherwise flags, and it plausibly explains part of the 348x gap between its bare-brand and qualified figures.
What a buyer gets: Trading Test (one-step evaluation) into PRO $50,000: $170/month ($102/month with code NOFEE40, 40% off for life), PRO’s drawdown trails the intraday peak including unrealized gains at $2,000.
Payout path: First payout is available day one of PRO once the account clears a $2,000 buffer, no minimum trading days; split 80/20 on PRO, 90/10 on the invitation-only PRO+.
Live stage (a warning, not a grade): “The decision to upgrade a trader to a PRO+ account is made solely at the discretion of Take Profit Trader.” PRO is placed on hold and $5,000 of its profit is frozen while PRO+, which begins at a $0 balance, is active; no decline option is described anywhere in the help center.
- Audience signal: Not published
- Trustpilot: 4.4/5 on 10,749 reviews, cited from our Trustpilot ledger.
- Choose it when: You want day-one PRO withdrawals and a flat per-contract commission, and you accept that the brand name itself (a common trading phrase) likely pulls in some of its own bare-brand search noise.
- Watch out for: PRO’s funded-stage floor trails the intraday peak including unrealized P&L independent of the PRO+ call-up question, and the firm has admitted bot-detection false positives on its own accounts in 2026.

Apex Trader Funding’s bare-brand number is almost entirely generic-word noise
Apex Trader Funding shares the exact bare-brand figure (90,500/mo) with Alpha Futures and Take Profit Trader, three unrelated name collisions landing on the same headline number, and its own qualified figure (227/mo) is the second-worst contamination ratio in this post (399x).
What a buyer gets: 50K EOD Trail Evaluation into EOD Performance Account: $590.00 list ($59 with code SAVENOW, countdown timer only, no calendar end date) plus a $119 activation fee, EOD trailing drawdown at $2,000.
Payout path: First payout needs 5 non-consecutive days of $250 or more net profit, a $52,600 Safety Net, 50% best-day consistency, capped at 6 payouts per account lifetime; no split on the sim account.
Live stage (a warning, not a grade): “Apex may move a trader into live trading at any time based on trading style, P&L, account count, speed of simulated profit accumulation, and trader history.” A decliner gets a flat $3,000 regardless of tracked balance, which is forfeited.
- Audience signal: 28,800 YouTube subscribers (Sept 30, 2026)
- Trustpilot: 4.2/5 on 21,181 reviews, cited from our Trustpilot ledger.
- Choose it when: You want one of the largest futures firms by review volume (21,181) and accept that most of its headline search number is generic “apex” noise, not firm-specific interest.
- Watch out for: apextraderfunding.com was in its own scheduled maintenance at the moment of this check; every figure here matches the most recent verified reads from the same week rather than a fresh live read.

FundedNext has the biggest review base in this entire post and a comparatively modest search number
FundedNext’s 80,485 Trustpilot reviews are the largest single review base of any firm in this dataset, and it carries a sizable 132,000-subscriber YouTube channel, yet its qualified search figure (178/mo) sits well below several smaller-reputation firms here.
What a buyer gets: Stellar 2-Step $50,000 (CFD; FundedNext Futures is a separate listing and not counted here): $299.99 list, one-time fee, static 10% drawdown ($5,000).
Payout path: First payout is available 21 days after the first funded trade with no minimum trading-day condition at that point; split starts at 80%, rising to 90% on the Pro scale-up and up to 95% with a paid add-on.
Live stage (a warning, not a grade): No live-stage call-up exists on this CFD product at all; the only “live” option is an optional transfer of an already-paid Performance Reward to sister broker FNmarkets.
- Audience signal: 132,000 YouTube subscribers (Oct 3, 2026)
- Trustpilot: 4.5/5 on 80,485 reviews (largest review base in this dataset), cited from our Trustpilot ledger.
- Choose it when: You want the single most-reviewed firm in this whole dataset and a clean no-live-call-up CFD product, and you do not need it to also be
