Reset Promo Codes: What Resets Cost and How to Pay Less

• Test reset prices changed on May 16, 2026. Take Profit Trader’s May 11, 2026 announcement says test resets were a flat $100 for every size from 2021 until then. Since May 16 they are priced by size: 25K and 50K got cheaper ($79 and $99), while 75K, 100K and 150K went up ($139, $169, $199).
• A reset does not move your renewal date. The test reset article says it “will not change the subscription renewal date”. The next monthly charge still arrives on schedule, so a mid-month reset is paid on top of the subscription.
• The renewal acts as a free reset. Take Profit Trader resets trading accounts at monthly renewal if the account is disabled. If you break a rule a few days before renewal, waiting costs nothing extra. On a 150K test the renewal with NOFEE40 is $216 against a $199 reset.
• PRO resets are expensive and are not discounted. A PRO reset skips the test and restores your PRO account with day-one withdrawals. It costs $449 to $1,499, and Take Profit Trader calls it an optional “convenience fee”. PRO+ accounts cannot be reset. To get back to PRO+ you pass a new test or reset a PRO account.
• Rewards points buy free resets. You earn 1 point per dollar spent, 250 points the first time you pass and 500 points on your first $1,000 withdrawal. A free test reset costs 2,000 to 10,000 points by size (Point Values). Promo codes do not apply to tests bought with credits.

Code Not Working? Common Reasons

• A flash sale replaced it. During NOFEE50 (May 2026) and 50AND3 (August 2026) the banner showed a different code. Use the one on the homepage on the day you buy.
• You are paying with credits. Take Profit Trader says promotions and promo codes cannot be applied to test accounts bought with reward credits.
• You are applying it to a reset. No reset discount was published for NOFEE40.
• It asks for the activation fee after you pass. The waiver is a credit, not an automatic $0 charge. Pick “Your credits” as the payment method. Tests passed on a Friday get the credit on the next business day.
• You are in a restricted country. Take Profit Trader blocks accounts accessed from its restricted country list (about 120 entries, including Pakistan, Nigeria, the Philippines, Vietnam, Turkey, South Africa and several EU states such as Romania, Bulgaria and Malta), including through VPNs.
• The code came from a third-party list. Creator codes often show the same 40% figure, but BestProps can only confirm codes Take Profit Trader publishes itself.

• NOFEE40 is the default. It has been on the homepage for most of the time since February 2024. Other codes appear for days or weeks, then NOFEE40 returns. The rate can also go down: NOFEE30 (30% off) replaced it from March to June 2025 and again in early June 2026.
• 50% codes come in short windows. 50ANDFREE, 50AND50, 50AND100 and NEWYEAR50 in 2024 to early 2025, then two one-week flash sales in 2026 (NOFEE50 in May, 50AND3 in August). Each 50% sale also waived the activation fee or added a bonus.
• Black Friday means refunds, not a bigger percentage. Black Friday 2024 kept 40% off but added a 100% refund of the first month’s test fee. The 2025 Black Friday deal (NOFEE100) cut the rate to 30% and added the same refund, paid back in the account’s first withdrawal.
• Sources disagree on one end date. The May 11, 2026 blog post says NOFEE50 ended Sunday, May 17. The NOFEE50 FAQ says it ran until Tuesday, May 26. It may have been extended. Either way, the waiver stays on accounts bought with the code.

• Minimum days: 3 trading days for tests bought from August 17, 2026. It was 5 before, and older tests and their resets keep the 5-day minimum (3-day evals announcement). Your best day must be under 50% of total net profit (Rule 5).
• No daily loss limit on tests. The homepage marks the old $1,100 limit on the 50K as “Removed”. The drawdown is end-of-day on tests. In PRO it trails intraday until it reaches your starting balance (PRO Account Rules).
• No overnight holds: positions close automatically at 4:55 PM ET (Rule 4). PRO accounts must be flat around FOMC, NFP and CPI releases, and bots are not allowed.
• Payouts: 80/20 in PRO, withdrawable from day one once your balance is above the buffer (for example $52,000 on a 50K). Paid through Plaid to US banks, PayPal or Wise (profit split and withdrawals, payout methods). Live PRO+ accounts are invite-only, with a 90/10 split and no buffer. 1. Confirm the banner on takeprofittrader.com still shows NOFEE40, or a bigger flash code.
2. Pick a size you can trade within the position limit and drawdown. The cheapest test is not the cheapest route if the drawdown is too tight for your strategy.
3. Check the restricted countries list before paying. Even one login from a restricted country can close the account.
4. Note your renewal date. Cancel in the dashboard if you stop trading, because a failed test keeps billing until you cancel (cancelling a subscription).
