Lucid Trading vs My Funded Futures Buyer’s Scorecard
Lucid Trading and My Funded Futures both sell one-time-fee futures evaluations with no activation fee, 90/10 daily-payout plans and a route to a live account. They differ on plan design: Lucid has four public plans, including a straight-to-funded option, while My Funded Futures splits its daily-payout plan into intraday and EOD versions, adds a static-drawdown Studio plan, enforces a 7-day inactivity rule and publishes pass-rate statistics.

Advanced checks before paying
- Model your normal losing streak against the drawdown type you will actually have in the funded stage, not the evaluation one. Both daily-payout plans switch to an intraday trail once funded.
- Add the reset price, platform data fees and round-trip commissions to the evaluation price to get the real cost of each attempt.
- Check the buffer, the minimum request, the per-payout cap and how many sim payouts you get before the firm moves you live.
- Confirm your country is not restricted, that your platform is supported on that firm’s data feed, and that you can trade at least every 7 days if you choose My Funded Futures.

Short answer:Lucid Trading vs My Funded Futures is a close match on headline terms: both sell one-time-fee futures evaluations with no activation fee, both pay 90/10 on their daily-payout plans (LucidDaily and Rapid) and 90/10 or 80/20 elsewhere, and both close or freeze your sim accounts when they move you to live capital. Lucid is cheaper at list price on most sizes, offers a straight-to-funded plan (LucidDirect), lets you choose an EOD or intraday drawdown on LucidDaily evaluations, supports Rithmic platforms and only deletes accounts after 30 days without trading. My Funded Futures accepts crypto at checkout, allows Micro Bitcoin futures, publishes pass and payout rates (19.97% passed evaluations, 39.2% of funded traders got at least one payout), and its Pro plan pays every 14 days with a much larger per-cycle cap, but its new one-time-fee accounts can be closed after 7 days without a trade. Neither firm is better for everyone; match the plan to how you trade.
This page compares Lucid Trading and My Funded Futures (also written MyFundedFutures or MFFU) plan by plan. Every number below comes from the firms’ own websites and help centres, read on October 13, 2026, and each section links to the source. Where a firm’s own pages disagree, we say so.
Checked October 13, 2026: lucidtrading.com, support.lucidtrading.com, myfundedfutures.com and help.myfundedfutures.com. Prices with codes are calculated from the published list price and the firm’s own published code; they were not verified by purchase.
Both firms run simulated evaluation and funded accounts. Payouts from the funded stage are paid from simulated profits under each firm’s rules, and only a small share of traders reach live capital. This is educational research, not financial advice.

Plan lineups and how they pair up
The two firms name their plans differently, so the useful comparison is by design, not by name. This is how the current plans line up.
| If you are looking at… | Lucid plan | Closest My Funded Futures plan | Main difference |
|---|---|---|---|
| Daily payouts, 90/10 | LucidDaily | Rapid (intraday funded) or Rapid EOD (EOD funded) | LucidDaily’s funded stage is always intraday. Rapid EOD keeps an EOD drawdown funded but needs 4 evaluation days and a 30% consistency rule. |
| Cheap evaluation with a simple first payout | LucidFlex | Builder | Flex pays 90/10 with no funded consistency rule but caps each payout at 50% of profit. Builder pays 80/20 every 48 hours and applies a 50% funded consistency rule. |
| One-day pass, larger caps | LucidPro | Pro (or Pro 50K with the 1-Day add-on) | LucidPro pays any day after the gates are met with caps of $1,000–$3,500. MFF Pro pays every 14 days with a $1,000 minimum and a cap listed at $100,000. |
| Skip the evaluation | LucidDirect | None | My Funded Futures has no straight-to-funded plan on its selector. |
| Static drawdown, micros only | None | Studio #001 / #002 | Studio is a limited-release $10K/$20K plan with a static loss limit and payouts anytime; Lucid has no equivalent. |
Lucid also has legacy products (LucidBlack and older Live and LucidMaxx structures) and an invite-only LucidMaxx plan. My Funded Futures has legacy Flex accounts; its Flex plan is no longer on the plan selector. Neither firm’s legacy plans are part of this comparison. For every Lucid plan in one place, see our Lucid Trading review.
Prices at 25K, 50K, 100K and 150K
Both firms quote list prices and then advertise their own discount codes. Lucid’s homepage shows “FOR THE BEST DEAL USE CODE: VAULT”, which takes 30% off all four plans, and a limited-time $5 or $10 discount when you leave the daily loss limit on for LucidPro and LucidFlex. My Funded Futures’ site banner reads “Save 40% On Any Plan With Code CLUB” and offers 50% off a first evaluation to new customers; its Builder guide says the 40% code is limited to two uses. BestProps has no codes of its own; our Lucid Trading deals page tracks Lucid’s current offers.

Resets and other costs
- Lucid resets are bought from the dashboard and restore the evaluation to its starting balance. List reset prices: LucidPro $75 / $120 / $190 / $255, LucidFlex $55 / $95 / $180 / $260, LucidDaily EOD $65 / $95 / $155 / $220 and intraday $55 / $75 / $125 / $180 (25K / 50K / 100K / 150K). The VAULT code does not reduce resets; the DLL-on discount does, so the 50K LucidPro card showed a $115 reset. LucidDirect has no reset.
- My Funded Futures resets restore the evaluation to its starting balance. The site’s plan data lists the reset price at the same figure as the list evaluation price (for example $209 for Rapid 50K). Whether a code applies to a reset is not published, and Rapid’s FAQ says a breached funded Rapid account has no reset.
- Breached accounts: Lucid deletes a breached evaluation after 30 days unless you reset it. My Funded Futures does not publish an equivalent deadline in the articles we read.
- Daily loss limit choice: on Lucid, turning the daily loss limit off costs $10 to $60 more depending on plan and size, and the setting cannot be changed later. My Funded Futures has no daily loss limit on Rapid, Rapid EOD or Pro, and a fixed soft limit on Builder.
Profit targets, minimum days and time to get funded
Targets match at most sizes: $1,250 or $1,500 at 25K, $3,000 at 50K, $6,000 at 100K and $9,000 at 150K. The minimum number of days and the evaluation consistency rule decide how fast you can pass.
| Plan (50K) | Target | Minimum days | Evaluation consistency | Upgrade to funded |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| LucidPro | $3,000 | 1 day | None | Real time, 5–30 minutes after the target |
| LucidFlex | $3,000 | 2 days in practice (50% rule with a small cushion) | 50% | Real time, 5–30 minutes |
| LucidDaily | $3,000 | 2 days in practice (50% rule with a small cushion) | 50% | Real time, 5–30 minutes |
| LucidDirect | No evaluation | Trade from purchase; 5 days minimum before a payout | 20% in the funded stage | Account issued after purchase |
| MFF Builder | $3,000 | 1 day | None | Dashboard upgrade after passing |
| MFF Rapid | $3,000 | 2 days | 50% | Dashboard upgrade after passing |
| MFF Rapid EOD | $3,000 | 4 days | 30% | Dashboard upgrade after passing |
| MFF Pro | $3,000 ($4,000 with the 1-Day add-on) | 2 days (1 with the add-on) | 50% (none with the add-on) | Dashboard upgrade after passing |
My Funded Futures says the upgrade to a sim funded account is instant from the dashboard unless the account goes to a brief review, which it says typically takes less than 24 hours. Lucid says you can take as long as you need to pass. My Funded Futures’ one-time-payment evaluations have no renewal, but its 7-day inactivity rule applies to evaluations too.
Drawdown rules: EOD, intraday and when they lock
Both firms trail the maximum loss limit until you build a small cushion and then lock it. The differences are the type of trail in the funded stage and where the account balance starts.
| Plan | Evaluation drawdown | Funded drawdown | Where it locks |
|---|---|---|---|
| LucidPro / LucidFlex | EOD | EOD | Starting balance + $100 once the balance closes above the initial trail balance (e.g. $50,100 after $52,100 on 50K). On Flex it also locks at that level as soon as you request a payout. |
| LucidDaily | EOD or intraday (chosen at checkout) | Intraday | Starting balance + $100 after the trail balance is passed |
| LucidDirect | No evaluation | EOD ($1,000 / $2,000 / $3,500 / $5,000) | Starting balance + $100 after $26,100 / $52,100 / $103,600 / $155,100 |
| MFF Builder | EOD trailing | EOD trailing, account starts at $0 | +$100; after the first payout the loss limit resets to $100 |
| MFF Rapid | EOD | Intraday trailing from the equity high-water mark, account starts at $0 | Locks at $100 once the trail reaches it; balance must stay above $100 |
| MFF Rapid EOD | EOD | EOD | +$100 |
| MFF Pro | EOD | EOD | Moves to starting balance + $100 after the first payout and stays static |
Why the $0 start matters. My Funded Futures’ sim funded accounts on Builder and Rapid start at a $0 balance, so a 50K Builder account starts with a minimum balance of −$2,000. Lucid’s funded accounts keep the nominal balance (a 50K account starts at $50,000 with a $48,000 floor). The risk is the same $2,000; only the display differs, but it changes how you read the buffer rules.
Intraday versus EOD in practice. An intraday trail moves with open profit. If a 50K Rapid or LucidDaily funded trade runs $1,200 in your favour and you give it all back, the floor has already risen $1,200 and your remaining room is $800, not $2,000. An EOD trail only moves on closing balances, so the same round trip leaves the floor where it was. Scalpers who let winners run and come back should prefer EOD funded stages: LucidPro, LucidFlex, LucidDirect, MFF Builder, Rapid EOD or Pro. Our EOD drawdown prop firm list compares more firms on this.
Daily loss limits
- Lucid: every daily loss limit is a soft breach that stops trading until the next session. On LucidPro, LucidFlex and LucidDaily you choose at checkout whether to have one ($600 / $1,200 / $1,800 / $2,700). On LucidPro and LucidDirect, once the funded balance closes above the initial trail balance the fixed limit is replaced by the LucidScale limit: 60% of your highest end-of-day profit, which never decreases. LucidDirect 25K has no daily limit at all.
- My Funded Futures: no daily loss limit on Rapid, Rapid EOD, Pro or Studio. Builder has a soft pause of $600 / $1,000 / $1,750 / $2,500 that also applies in its live stage.
Consistency rules and minimum trading days
Both firms use the same formula: your largest single-day profit divided by total profit in the cycle must stay at or under the plan’s percentage. Missing it never fails the account at either firm; you keep trading until the ratio is back in line.
| Plan | Evaluation | Funded (per payout cycle) | Other payout-day rule |
|---|---|---|---|
| LucidPro | None | 40% (35% for accounts bought or reset before November 28, 2025, 3 PM EST) | Minimum profit goal $250 / $500 / $750 / $1,000 per cycle |
| LucidFlex | 50% | None | 5 days each with at least $100 / $150 / $200 / $250 profit |
| LucidDaily | 50% | None | Positive net profit since the last payout |
| LucidDirect | No evaluation | 20% | Profit goal $1,500 / $3,000 / $6,000 / $9,000 for payout 1, then $1,250 / $2,500 / $3,500 / $4,500 |
| MFF Builder | None | 50% | 2 qualifying days per cycle; $250 / $500 / $1,000 / $1,500 net profit above the buffer, then since the last payout |
| MFF Rapid | 50% | None | None beyond the buffer and minimum |
| MFF Rapid EOD | 30% | None | $250 / $500 net profit since the last payout |
| MFF Pro | 50% (none with the 1-Day add-on) | None | 14 calendar days from the first funded trade |
Worked example, 50K evaluation. With a $3,000 target and a 50% rule (LucidFlex, LucidDaily, MFF Rapid, MFF Pro), your best day can be about $1,500. Lucid adds a small cushion: if you finish on exactly the target, its table allows a $1,560 day, which is why it advertises a two-day pass. Rapid EOD’s 30% rule allows only $900 on a $3,000 total, so a $1,400 day means you need $4,667 of total profit before you pass.
Worked example, funded. On LucidPro 50K a $1,200 best day needs $3,000 total in the cycle (40%). On LucidDirect 50K the same $1,200 day needs $6,000 (20%), which is why Direct is the hardest Lucid plan to get paid from. On MFF Builder 50K a $1,000 best day needs $2,000 (50%). For more Lucid examples, our Lucid Trading payouts guide works through each plan.
Payouts: split, cadence, minimums and caps
| Plan | Split | How often | Buffer before the first request | Minimum | Maximum per payout |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| LucidPro | 90/10 (100% of the first $10k for accounts bought or reset before November 28, 2025) | Any day once all gates are met; card says 3 days to payout | Initial loss limit + $100 (balance $26,100 / $52,100 / $103,100 / $154,600) | $500 | Payout 1: $1,000 / $2,000 / $2,500 / $3,000. Payouts 2+: $1,500 / $2,500 / $3,000 / $3,500 |
| LucidFlex | 90/10 | After every 5 profitable days | None | $500 | 50% of profit, up to $1,000 / $2,000 / $2,500 / $3,000 |
| LucidDaily | 90/10 | Daily | Initial loss limit + $100 | $500 | All profit above the buffer |
| LucidDirect | 90/10 | Any day once goals are met; 5-day minimum | Profit goal (see above) | $500 | Payouts 1–3: $1,000 / $2,000 / $2,500 / $3,000. Payouts 4–5: $1,000 / $2,500 / $3,000 / $3,500 |
| MFF Builder | 80/20 | Every 48 hours | $1,100 / $2,100 ($1,600 on the $1,500 option) / $3,100 / $4,600 | $250 / $500 / $1,000 / $1,500 | $1,000 / $2,000 / $3,000 / $3,500; 5 sim payouts |
| MFF Rapid | 90/10 | Daily; first request 24 hours after the first trade | $1,100 / $2,100 / $3,100 / $4,600 | $500 | No per-payout cap published |
| MFF Rapid EOD | 90/10 | Daily | $1,100 / $2,100 | $500 | No per-payout cap published |
| MFF Pro | 80/20 | Every 14 calendar days from the first trade | $2,100 / $3,100 / $4,600 (50K / 100K / 150K); one withdrawal of up to 60% of profit allowed before it is cleared | $1,000 | $100,000 |
Two source conflicts worth knowing. Lucid’s LucidFlex payout article says you may request “50% of their account balance” in one sentence and “50% of Profit” in its table; the table matches how the firm describes the plan elsewhere. My Funded Futures’ Pro plan page calls the $100,000 limit a per-cycle maximum, while its help centre lists it as a per-user maximum and describes profit beyond a $100,000 sim cap moving to the live account. If you are buying Pro for large payouts, ask support which reading applies.
Worked first-payout examples at 50K
These examples assume every day-count, profit-goal and consistency rule is already met, and that only profit above a buffer can be withdrawn (My Funded Futures’ Builder guide states this, and its payout policy describes Rapid’s $500 as the “minimum withdrawal after buffer”).
| Plan (50K) | Profit $3,000: request | You receive | Profit $6,000: request | You receive |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| LucidFlex | $1,500 (50% of profit) | $1,350 | $2,000 (cap) | $1,800 |
| LucidPro | $900 (above $52,100) | $810 | $2,000 (payout 1 cap) | $1,800 |
| LucidDaily | $900 | $810 | $3,900 | $3,510 |
| MFF Rapid | $900 (above $2,100) | $810 | $3,900 | $3,510 |
| MFF Builder | $900 | $720 | $2,000 (cap) | $1,600 |
| MFF Pro | $900 is under the $1,000 minimum; the pre-buffer rule allows $1,000–$1,800 once | $800–$1,440 | $3,900 | $3,120 |
What this shows: for small first cycles LucidFlex pays the most because it has no buffer, but it can never pay more than $2,000 at 50K. The daily-payout plans (LucidDaily and Rapid) pay out the same amounts in these examples. MFF Pro becomes the strongest option only when a 14-day cycle produces profits well above the Lucid caps. After a LucidFlex payout the loss limit locks at $50,100, so withdrawing $1,500 from a $53,000 balance leaves $1,400 of room.
For how payout caps work across the industry, see how prop firm payout caps work.
Payout methods and speed
- Lucid: once approved, the payout is deducted within minutes and disbursed “within 2 business days”. US traders can link a bank through Plaid for instant transfers; WorkMarket by ADP serves US and international traders (bank or PayPal, typically the next business day); international traders can also take BTC, ETH, LTC, USDT or USDC. The homepage claims “15ish min from request to bank”. Payout requests are final and cannot be edited.
- My Funded Futures: most requests are approved instantly; one needing manual review can take 6–12 business hours on weekdays. Funds go to Riseworks, which pays out by bank transfer or crypto, and Plaid/ACH is available to US traders. Your first payout needs KYC and a set of agreements signed through Riseworks. The site claims more than 75% of payouts are auto-approved in under a second.
- Both firms: trading after you request can get a payout denied if the balance falls back into the buffer before processing. Trade as if the money has already left the account.
We have not tested a payout at either firm; the times above are the firms’ own statements.
Moving to a live account
| Question | Lucid Trading | My Funded Futures |
|---|---|---|
| What triggers a live review | Payout 5 on Flex, Pro or Direct; the maximum daily profit on LucidDaily ($6,000 / $8,000 / $10,000 / $12,000); large lifetime payouts; strong sim results | Builder: 5th approved payout or the $100k sim cap. Pro: 3 consecutive payouts or a $20,000 profit milestone. Rapid: $10,000 net in one day (automatic) or a risk-team review |
| Can you decline | You can take a cashout instead, described as 50% of the live starting balance at 90/10, within 24 hours of the email | No. My Funded Futures says rejecting a move to live is not possible |
| Live starting point | $0 balance with the evaluation-size drawdown ($1,000 / $2,000 / $3,000 / $4,500), EOD, no daily loss limit, daily payouts; one live account per funded account that had at least one payout | Rapid: $0 balance, EOD drawdown, combined into one live account; up to $5,000 of sim profit held in a Reserve. Pro: $2,000–$5,000 / $3,000–$7,500 / $4,500–$10,000 static balance. Builder: same drawdown as the sim account, $1,000 daily loss limit at 50K |
| Live split and payouts | 90/10, daily, plus a repeatable Live Bonus ($1,000 / $2,000 / $3,000 / $4,500) after a live profit target and 20 trading days | 90/10 (Rapid) or 80/20 (Builder, Pro); daily payouts, requests before 11 AM EST processed the same day, $250 minimum |
| Sim accounts after the move | All closed; a funded account not moved live is refunded its evaluation cost if it has at least 50% of its drawdown left; no one in your household may trade sim | Placed in a dormant state; you cannot trade sim and live at the same time |
| After a live breach | Standard 2-week cooldown before buying a new evaluation | 21-day cooldown on Builder; on Rapid the Reserve first covers any negative balance |
| Live costs | Not covered in the live articles we read | CME professional data, round-trip commissions and platform licence are deducted from the live balance |
One point to check with Lucid before relying on the cashout: its article prices the cashout at 50% of the live starting balance, while the same article says live accounts start at a $0 balance. Ask support how the cashout amount is calculated for your accounts.
LucidDaily has its own live article that caps the sim profit paid out on the move to live at $15,000 across all accounts and has no Live Bonus. Lucid’s newer live-structure article does not repeat that cap, so confirm it if you trade LucidDaily.

- Lucid: LucidPro, LucidDirect and LucidDaily give you the full size from the first funded trade (2 / 4 / 6 / 10 minis, or ten times as many micros). LucidFlex funded accounts use a scaling plan: a 50K account starts at 2 minis, moves to 3 at $1,000 of profit and 4 at $2,000, updated at the end of each session. Payouts reduce profit, so your tier can drop after one.
- My Funded Futures: Rapid 50K lists 5 minis or 50 micros in evaluation and sim funded; Builder 50K 4 minis; Pro 5 / 10 / 15 minis at 50K / 100K / 150K. Micro metals are capped (5 micros at 50K) and Micro Bitcoin counts as a mini. Its cross-instrument policy forbids mixing minis and micros to exceed the limit. That same article still describes a Rapid 50K starting at 2 contracts under a scaling plan, which conflicts with the Rapid guide; check the limit on your dashboard.
Platforms, data feeds and copy trading
Lucid offers two data routes. CQG runs NinjaTrader, Tradovate and TradingView; Rithmic runs Quantower, Tradesea, MotiveWave, Sierra Chart, Jigsaw, Bookmap, ATAS, R|Trader Pro and MultiCharts. Lucid says every listed platform works with every account type.
My Funded Futures lists NinjaTrader, Hyperprop, Tradovate, TradingView, Quantower, Volumetrica, DeepChart/DeepDom and ATAS, with Volumetrica and DeepChart running on dxFeed. Sierra Chart, Bookmap, Jigsaw, MotiveWave and MultiCharts are not on its platform list. If you depend on one of those, Lucid is the only option of the two.
Copy trading: Lucid permits automated systems and trade copiers. My Funded Futures allows copy trading across all account types and names Tradesyncer as its preferred copier; Tradovate’s group copier also works. My Funded Futures forbids copying another trader’s executions, and both firms forbid hedging between accounts.
Markets, Bitcoin futures and commissions
Both firms trade CME Group futures only (CME, CBOT, NYMEX, COMEX). Lucid’s approved product list has no Bitcoin or other crypto futures. My Funded Futures lists Micro Bitcoin (MBT). My Funded Futures also restricts Silver, Copper, Platinum, Natural Gas and E-mini Natural Gas under a rule it dates “as of February 7th” and calls temporary; Lucid lists all five as approved.
| Contract | Lucid: commission per side (× 2 for a round trip) | My Funded Futures: total cost per round trip |
|---|---|---|
| ES / NQ | $1.75 ($3.50) | $4.68 |
| MES / MNQ | $0.50 ($1.00) | $1.90 |
| CL | $2.00 ($4.00) | $4.92 |
| GC | $2.30 ($4.60) | $5.12 |
| MGC | $0.80 ($1.60) | $2.20 |
| Micro Bitcoin (MBT) | Not on the approved list | $3.50 |
For an active micro trader the gap adds up. Taking the figures at face value, 20 MNQ round trips a day cost $20 at Lucid and $38 at My Funded Futures, roughly $360 over a 20-day month. If Lucid’s per-side figure excludes exchange fees, the real gap is smaller.
